Room was a good size for NY city centre, excellent breakfast service.

Reception area was often very busy.

Top Lage, super Hotel. Zimmer sind zwar klein aber ausreichend für 1 Woche zu zweit. Tägliches Zimmerservice mit Bettwäsche & Handtuchwechsel, für uns absolut ausreichend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 16. Stock aber ohne Ausblick, aber wir waren nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer daher war es für uns kein Problem. Die Rooftop-Bar ist spitze, kann man nach einem langen Tag den Abend noch mit toller Aussicht ausklingen lassen, Personal auch hier sehr freundlich. Flughafentransfer der vom Hotel organisiert wird ist sehr empfehlenswert. Im Umkreis nette Cafes & Frühstücksgelegenheiten, auch Restaurants, sehr zentral u vieles fußläufig zu erreichen, U-Bahn Station gleich daneben. Wir haben uns auch rund um das Hotel absolut sicher gefühlt. Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen.

Ingiustificabile che per le pulizie abbiamo dovuto richiederle tutti i giorni nonostante fosse stata richiesta la pulizia per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Credo che non si debbano neanche chiedere ma deve essere un servizio di default considerando i prezzi richiesti. La stanza poteva essere più insonorizzata

Es ist sehr zentral und alles ist mit der U Bahn in der Nähe erreichbar. Die Cookies schmecken sehr gut.

Es wurde teilweise nicht richtig geputzt trotz Trinkgeld jeden Tag. Abends befinden sich viele Obdachlose vor dem Hotel, da der Hoteleingang ein Public Space ist.

预定的房间和照片的完全不一样，我特意看的房间有风景才预定的，结果给我安排的房间只有一个小窗户，对面的是墙，没有任何风景，与实际完全不符合，而且很暗，跟工作人员说了，她竟然说房间没有灯不亮吗？她说房间今天满了，要换等明天可以给你换，但是你要11点前退房，然后4点才能入住，简直不合理，服务态度也不好。没有下一次，幸好只预定了2天

Location for maddison square garden the reason we came ,but also its great for all other areas as subway 4 mins walk .Staff fro. Reception really friendly and positive ,Breakfast great ,WiFi great ,if I came to new york again it's a very strong contender.

Obviously NYC hotels are small rooms and high price but I researched as much as I good and feel we got a good one .Again NYC is noisy even you hear the traffic at floor 26 .AC was also noisy and shower not particularly hot or strong pressure ,these comments are minor and didn't bother us.

It was smelled good as you walked into the facility. Staff was very attentive. You could tell they wanted to ensure they knew you were there. Not only did I observe how they interacted with me, I observed others. It was the same.

There was still an opened soda can in the fridge. We called down to the front desk to make sure they knew while checking out the room before the stay.

Great front desk service. They were able to hold my luggage until my room was ready plus gave me a key to the bathroom so I could freshen up. The room was clean and well maintained.

The pillows are really flat :( Also, I recommend adding some soundproofing to the windows to avoid hearing horns late at night.

Great location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Check in and check out were effortless and I was able to checkout incredibly early due to my flight time which was very pleasant. Room was clean, cleaned every day and all towels + soaps etc were timely replaced.

Gym was very lackluster, weights were sparse and quite light. The gym was small, only had 1 bench, no space for jump rope, limited cardio machines. Pictures are not representative of how the gym is actually set up.

We loved the location of hotel to all the activities we enjoyed for three days. The train and subway were close.

Would like to have lower price per day that we stayed. Maybe a senior discount for those that have a fixed income.

The location was great, the rooms were more spacious than I was expecting, although still quite cosy and not loads of room for luggage and storage of items while there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was a bonus - getting a drink with city views was fun. We only ate breakfast at the hotel once (because we thought it a bit pricey) but it was good and if money wasn't an issue, I'd easily have taken breakfast there every day.

We informed the hotel that the bedside light on one side of the room wasn't working when we first arrived, and despite many visitations from the engineer, then eventually being told a whole new unit would need to be ordered for the room, but that it had been ordered and would be fitted as soon as it arrived, hopefully tomorrow, it never was fitted, so I couldn't read my book at bedtime for the entire time, which was slightly annoying. They did give us a free breakfast half way through the week which sort of compensated.

Smagu, kad išsiregistravus, buvo galima nemokamai palikti saugoti lagaminus. Personalas paslaugus. Padėjo išspręsti problemą, dėl kurios buvo daug streso: išvykę pamiršome kambaryje labai svarbų daiktą. Personalas nepatingėjo jį surasti. Siūlė ir atsiųsti.Ačiū jiems už tai 😊

The room was small but clean, and the hotel was in an excellent location. The staff was very helpful. While the breakfast was a bit expensive for what we received, it was convenient to have a place to eat in the morning right in the hotel.

The location is very central to all the sites tk see in new york.

There were a lot of unwanted people outside the hotel in the evening. Also there was a sudden fire alarm early in the morning and the hotel staff was not very helpful in providing guidance to the guests.

Localizarea excelentă. Literalmente, 5 minute de mers pe jos până în Times Square, aproape de Madison Square garden, și foarte aproape de empire state, the vesel.

Nu am nimic de comentat împotriva. Poate ca, în anumite momente ale zilei, întâlneai oameni ai străzii aproape de ieșirea din hotel dar nimic care să te pună în pericol. Aceștia erau în lumea lor, nu erau agresivi și nici nu interacționau cu cei din jur.

Location was perfect, beds were comfy, and the rooftop had great views!

As soon as we arrived there was water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom onto the floor, creating a large puddle. I immediately went and asked for a new room and they said they were booked and would send someone up to fix it. While someone did come up quickly, the attitude at the front desk did not feel very empathetic. It was very matter of fact - ok we’ll send someone up. No apologies or acknowledgment to the fact that we had just arrived after a long day of travel to an issue. An engineer initially fixed it quickly, but it started dripping again a few hours later. I told the desk again and they must have sent someone while we’re were out. It ended up not being a problem the rest of the trip… but again, no apologies? A discount on our first night? A drink at the rooftop bar? I wouldn’t expect much, but something so simple like that would have meant a lot. Especially because we paid a lot to stay there and it was a special trip for us. Multiple trips to the front desk for a water leak was not the best way to start our trip.

Nice welcome with warm cookies and water as it was hot! We arrived early 1:30!! and our room was ready, thank you Double Tree by Hilton!! Location was fab for everything, tube station right by hotel & Maddison square garden. We got the train in from the airport, cheaper than taxi and quick! Staff friendly, especially breakfast. Breakfast was good, choice good, cereals, pastries, toast machine, bagels and cooked portion such as bacon eggs sausage… Lovely roof garden, views of the Hudson& the Edge! you can order drinks & food. Small & friendly hotel. Room has tea & coffee with machine, limited choice but probably service not restocking, we had to ask at the desk and was given 1 tea! Walk in shower, great and hot with plenty of white towels beds comfy slept well. Needed after walking New York!

We stayed 4 days, it’s an old hotel. Room was really small. Clean and did the job but small. Carpet was dated… blue blinds? Need a clean really dusty! We had a 6th floor room.. to be fair not sure if they have anything better. Who knows what you are given when booking in? If on a budget, it’s a good option and would use again, but discuss rooms… don’t want to be unfair!

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und die tägliche Reinigung i.O.. Die Lage war sehr gut - Nähe U-Bahnstation und Times Square. Dafür waren die Betten ein Graus und nachts ziemliches Geschrei auf der Straße - wir waren im 2. Stock.

Es war mittlerweile mein fünfter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel innerhalb der letzten vier Jahre – und es gibt einen guten Grund, warum ich bei meinen New-York-Besuchen immer wieder genau dieses Hotel auswähle. Die Lage ist für mich einfach perfekt. Direkt an der Penn Station gelegen, hat man die Subway praktisch vor der Tür und erreicht unglaublich vieles auch problemlos zu Fuß. In wenigen Minuten ist man am Hudson River, am Empire State Building oder am Times Square. Für mich könnte die Lage kaum besser sein. Ich persönlich fühle mich in diesem Hotel einfach sehr wohl. Die Zimmer bieten alles, was ich für einen Aufenthalt in New York brauche und sind für mich absolut ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind ausnahmslos immer sauber. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht aber an die Menschen, die hier arbeiten. Das Housekeeping-Team ist Gold wert. So herzliche und liebe Damen, die einen wirklich willkommen fühlen lassen. Auch die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren bei jedem meiner Aufenthalte ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wirklich jeder, mit dem ich zu tun hatte, war großartig. Nach fünf Aufenthalten kann ich definitiv sagen: Ich habe meinen festen Ort in New York gefunden. Wenn ich jedes Jahr wieder in der Stadt bin, weiß ich schon, wo ich wohnen möchte. Ganz viel Liebe und ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team. ❤️ Ich komme sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

I was billed for a in room bar item that was never used, I had to call the next day and have the charge dropped. AC unit was horrible.

Basic needs met, did the job.

The building is old, so ceiling is coming apart in some places. And shower leaks onto the tile floor.

This hotel is a well-kept secret right near the Amtrak train station and Madison Square Garden. Rooms are bigger than the typical hotel in this price category. The room was nicely appointed and had great soundproofing--a must for Times Square area. Breakfast was great too.

The hotel was always crowded in the lobby and it takes a while to check in/check out if you are doing it inperson.

Nähe zu Penn Station ist nicht für jeden etwas, eine der wenigen Gegenden in Manhattan mit offen sichtbarer Verwahrlosung und Strassenkriminalität im Sonst sehr sicheren Manhattan
