Pillows was over stuffed and hard. The bed was hard and uncompfortable. ordered a King bed got a queen bed
Great location

La atención del personal La habitación era amplia y cómoda con pequeña cocina donde hacer comida
Me cobraron deposito q .e devolvieron a los 5 dias El desayuno muy pobre 😥
Breakfast is amazing. The place was very clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone who wants to enjoy a clean-welcoming atmosphere that is close to good food and music.
Well booking through Bookings.com you are eligible to lose the room you reserved and be downgraded with no dog in the fight. I booked over 2 months prior for my wife's 50th birthday with a King size bed and kitchenet and was given a double queen bedroom. Not happy about the change but the facility is still worth booking.
Clean and professional desk staff
Paid too much for parking
I liked the convenience of the hotel from the hospital. They staff was so kind, helpful and wonderful customer service. Our family enjoyed the stay.
The $40 dollar parking was ugly lol, but other than that, everything was great.
Close proximity to the surgery center.
High cost of parking.
Very nice accommodations. I was a little disappointed there was no restaurant on site. The bar menu wasn't bad, but it was limited.
The $40 per day parking fee is excessive. Plus, after I paid for my stay in full, the hotel attempted to run my card three (3) additional times. I never received a an explanation for that.
Excelente el servicio del restaurante, y la ubicación demasiado buena. El personal muy amable
Todo fue bueno
Location, clean rooms, breakfast
Room booked was not available. They blamed Booking.com and told me not to use your website. Had to sleep on a pull out which was uncomfortable and hurt my back. They offered to comp my parking fee, but as of 5 days later I still have no refund.
Loved it
Very nice place never found such a great room
Everything
Comfortable place to stay and walking distance to Vanderbilt University and places to eat. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (although they did not serve turkey sausages). It was complimentary and did what it was supposed to do. And lastly, I enjoyed having a bar downstairs. Super convenient and the bartender,(so sorry I didn't get his name) was extremely nice. This will be my go to hotel when I'm visiting the area.
Hyatt House Vanderbilt in Nashville Tennessee is definitely a wonderful place to stay. I'm looking forward to my next trip. Clean room, great staff, excellent service and food, family friendly.
Perfect room and layout with kitchenette- great space for family. Near Vanderbilt. .Very safe and walkable with many choices to eat nearby. Did not have a car and didn’t need one. Went to a concert downtown at Bridgestone Arena only 1.5 miles away. Easy to walk or ride share. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the music scene. Nice staff and fun happy hour with music too !
Clean and good sized room. Friendly staff. Location. Safe feel. We have stayed a total of three times here and probably will be in the future as well
Needed to book a room for a last minute stay. Hotel was beautiful. Check-in was super easy. Staff friendly. And the room was great. Clean and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again.
Great rooms, clean
Only one trash can bag
The room was excellent and the staff very friendly.
I did not like the unexpected parking fee of $40 + taxes. Very pricey for just one night of stay!
They have a bar and a nice pool area. The breakfast was really good and the front desk staff was wonderful.
The pillows were awful other than that everything was great.
The room was comfortable and very clean. It would be nice if more food options were available.
Nice & clean hotel
Suppose to have a king suite but only had a queen bed !
Good location and room was spacious. Bed was quite saggy and no air flow made the bathroom quite moist. AC was so loud, it clicks on and off all through the night. Walls and doors are not soundproof so be prepared to have disturbed sleep from drunk singing and people playing in the pool at night. Gym was really warm. Breakfast quite grim.
We had a great time in Nashville and our stay at Hyatt House was perfect. We will be back to stay here again and enjoy more of Nashville.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. And even though they ran out of the room that I booked I still made accommodations and lowered the amount I was going to pay by not making me pay for parking.
The pool wasn't all that clean but they also had just had a rainstorm so that may have been why.

Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt is a great hotel. Staff is excellent, amenities are nice, breakfast is great, and the rooms are clean. It's also perfect for extended stay.
Hotel is in a great location. Staff is awesome and hotel was clean. Will defintiely be staying again on our next visit to Nashville!
This is a great hotel to stay at that s close to all the sites and in a nice area. Easy to get down to Broadway for the nightlife!
The Hyatt House is where the VA houses me when I come to Nashville when I come to town for Ophthalmology Eye Injections. Everyone is always so nice and professional.
The mattress and pillows were horrible, and I couldn’t sleep at all. The room was also extremely noisy because it was located directly above the garage. For the price, I could have stayed somewhere much better. I do not recommend this place at all.
Loved how inviting the staff were. I really like having to use the key to use the elevators. Rooms were updated and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Several choices of food. Full bar with a wonderful bartender. Rooftop pool.
Far away location from the crowded scenes of Nashville downtown. Great size rooms. Very clean - on the whole. Good breakfast options. Ample space to enjoy at the Bar/Lounge. Noise Levels are alot. Particularly from rowdy guests and late-night party-goers that decide to use the pool area after-hours. Little presence of Hotel security when needed.
Even though the water main near there in Nashville burst and the Hotel not having water for the night, the staff was very helpful pushing out water bottles and reimbursing those who wanted to leave free of charge. We opted to stay, because it was the closest hotel to the hospital I was having back surgery at the next morning. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but the city of Nashville's fault. Staff remained professional , helpful, and accommodating throughout the whole ordeal.
parking cost
Location is great hotel was clean the front desk girl was kind of rude, just one of them. Breakfast was great. The only issue that we had was the parking. They have a parking garage attached to their hotel that you pay for you also have to pay for parking. $40 per night, which is just ridiculous.

Very clean and close to everything
Parking wasn’t included
Lovely clean hotel, staff always helpful. Room really big with kitchenette in. Loved that you could purchase food downstairs and microwave it. This worked for us. 40 min walk away from honky Tonk and any bars or restaurants. Mini supermarket at top of road. Zoo is a good day out.
Loved the large room - very spacious and thoughtfully furnished. Comfy bed, and large kitchen area. Loved all of the breakfast options (including fresh fruit!) Liked the bar and the small gift shop are in the lobby. Zari at check-in was AMAZING - she got us into our room early, and was super pleasant and helpful. Very kind!
Nothing!
The Hyatt is as pictured. Beautiful, nice patio, clean, and the staff was awesome. They also had the best Continental breakfast, the food options were great! It's definitely a rebook.

Very nice hotel. Close proximity to nightlife. Very clean with very professional and accommodating staff. Exceeded expectations.
From the front desk staff to the kitchen attendants and housekeeping, everyone was so nice and helpful. I love the Hyatt brand but the guest experience being flawless is a big bonus! I love this location because of the consistency it has to the Hyatt brand and Hyatt experience. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious! My room was spotless and housekeeping even made sure to check in with me for service needs. I will continue to go to this location because I know that the staff and guest experience do not disappoint!
Spent the weekend here while in Nashville for my son's hockey tournament. The front desk staff was super friendly. Parking was easy, the location was super convenient to downtown. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious - even had a small kitchenette and sitting area! We would definitely stay here next time we're in town. Thanks!!
Overall, the hotel is fine. Needs new carpet and paint. Breakfast was great. Amenities could be improved with streaming TV, better in-room coffee, and body lotion (not provided in the room). Breakfast should be served each day starting at 6am instead of 7am.
Pleasantly clean place. Close to the hospitals, clinics and University. Nice walk to some of the tourist areas. Feels like you are staying at your friend's home fir the night.
Always clean, friendly and welcoming staff, ease of parking and close to Vanderbilt Medical Center. High recommended.
Spacious room
Inadequate amount of towels and bedding for room size; front desk initially said our room wasn’t ready at 4pm; no sausage or waffles at breakfast and subpar coffee
The security and cleanliness
None
This is the second time I have stayed here. Convenient location, cool vibe in lobby, rooms were great as well as breakfasts. Customer service was top notch as well.
Was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was - the staff, the facility, a great value while visiting Vanderbilt. The best in the area!
Well located, 10 minutes walking to Briadway. Bedroom with kitchen, confort bem and a coach that turns into a bed.
The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were great at check in. The primary concern for me is the parking rate of $40 per night. Outside of that, this is the best hotel for any trip. Having the small kitchen area and high top bar to sit at are a definite plus as well.
Clean decent room
Wasn’t as close to downtown Nashville as we would have liked
Clean and spacious room, helpful and accommodating staff.
The pool is much smaller than the online picture depicts.
If you're looking for the authentic CMA Fest experience, the Hyatt Vanderbilt Nashville has you covered. For the bargain price of only $425 a night, you can enjoy a very basic hotel experience with just enough cleanliness to keep your immune system guessing. The breakfast area was a particular highlight. The waffle syrup station featured a sticky, gooey substance that appeared to have survived several previous breakfast services untouched. It really added an element of mystery to the meal. The pool area has a charming "seen better days" aesthetic, made even more exciting by what appeared to be a complete lack of security enforcement. Watching people openly doing drugs by the pool certainly wasn't listed among the amenities, but apparently it's included at no extra charge. Special mention goes to the individual in the Sports Illustrated shirt waiting near the front desk, eager to lure guests into a timeshare presentation under less-than-transparent circumstances. Relocating that operation somewhere less intrusive would greatly improve the guest experience. On the bright side, the hotel is well located. A pleasant 45-minute walk gets you to Broadway and all the fun Nashville has to offer. In the end, the city was fantastic. The hotel? Let's just say CMA Fest deserved a better opening act.
Location
The cost was more then advertised
I have stayed at this property many times. Its in a great area, with easy walking distance to many restaurants. Easy to get to my office downtown on Church Street. Great staff. Check in is FAST. Great breakfast with hot items and multiple fresh fruits. Its very secure with keyed elevator access at night. Parking is a separate charge but no worse than other places in the area (About $46 dollars with taxes and fees per night in parking deck located in the hotel building)
All of it
Nothing
So close to Vandy - Beautiful property and the service was awesome!
I wish the pool had been open!
Breakfast was good and hotel gym facility also very clean and spacious.
We booked this hotel based on location and swimming pool- however the one mile walk to broadway was filled with construction and you had to cross a highway and train track. Regarding the pool, hotel said it was closed for the season but it was closed due to maintenance, this should have been advertised and mentioned before/during booking as we would’ve not stayed if we knew this about the pool. A simple line or email letting us know this beforehand would’ve been very helpful. (POOL IS CLOSED FOR SEASON) as all mention of the pool online and on website said the pool was open it was only when we arrived at the hotel we were told it is closed.
Location was perfect and it was very clean.
Could not check in on time because technology was down, had to wait till almost 7:00 to get in our room. Also no where was it listed that the pool was out when we booked it. Was going to celebrate our son’s 10th birthday and all he wanted was to be able to swim.
It was clean, nice, and close to Broadway. The breakfast was decent as well.
The pool is out of service for the season. I booked this place for the pool access. I was very disappointed. This was part of our weekend plans.
Good room nice staff
Pool was closed even though seemed to be in season. Across the road pool was open . Shop was very expensive
Everything was good!
Nothing
This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. We stayed here this past weekend, and the entire stay was a nightmare from start to finish. The most serious issue was that my wife stepped on a nail coming through the carpet in our room. That is completely unacceptable and honestly dangerous. A hotel room should be safe, especially when families and children are staying there. On top of that, the hotel advertises a pool, but there is no pool. That is false advertising and extremely frustrating when you book expecting certain amenities. The staff made everything worse. They were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. My son’s medicine was placed in their freezer, and somehow they lost it. Instead of taking responsibility or helping us solve the problem, their attitude was basically, “sucks for you.” That is disgusting customer service, especially when it involves a child’s medication. Between the unsafe room, false advertising, rude staff, and total lack of accountability, I would never stay here again. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Run
Very nice place, clean , staff friendly and ready to help to make your trip the best. Breakfast was very good but if you go within 30 minutes before close selection poor and coffee was out in all three containers, but refilled when you ask the kitchen staff
The entire place was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, staff was happy and helpful, and the breakfast was great. This hotel has a nice, airy atmosphere. Even the attached parking garage was so easy to navigate/get to elevators. It exceeded expectations and I will definitely book here again when I need to overnight in the area.
Pay for parking
Hotel is fine for the price and location, however, they charged me $14 for “drinking the water in the room” - which I assume is the $7.99 bottled water that is available for an extra charge. I did not touch the bottled water but this franchised Hyatt House location refuses to give me a refund because they incorrectly claim I drank the water. I was in the room for less than 12 hours - I simply slept the night and left the next morning. The front desk said they will have to talk to their manager because they are unable to remove the charge. Fine, I will dispute with American Express and avoid staying here in the future.
Location.
Service. Room. Television.
Great location for Vanderbilt, nice large rooms.
No wine in kiosk downstairs.
This hotel has a great location for mid-town, Vanderbilt University. The staff was very helpful. The parking garage was safe and convenient, but a little pricey. We had the studio and it was huge.
The hotel was great!
You have to pay to park in the hotel parking garage!! That's ridiculous seeing you pay $250 a night!!! Especially when the hotel owns the parking garage!!! Parking was $45 a night!!!
The front desk representative, Chara, was very pleasant and helpful! The room visual and set-up were more than I expected. The burger and fries from Elliston Place Soda Shop was better than I expected. The young guy that took my order and checked in on how I was enjoying my food, was pleasant and attentive. I set at the counter. (5.11.2026)
The breakfast was average. For a Hyatt I expected more love with the food. It was very generic and general.
The smart TV’s could def be better. The TV kept loosing signal on multiple channels. The tv need to be upgraded to more modern smart TV’s.
Convenient and easy access to most locations. Everything was of walking distance and it was easy to find.
Parking lot was way too expensive even for convenience. 40 dollars a night is way to much for the price of staying at the hotel and it wasn’t that clean as we had bottles and trash in random locations.
This is the perfect location if you have a loved one at the St. Thomas Midtown hospital. It is a short walk to multiple entrances and is safe for the family.
Comfortable hotel with friendly staff
The room was very nice and customer service was great.

Very displeased with room. Was planning on cooking a few meals but skillet and pans were absolutely junk. Dishwasher wasn’t even mounted and almost tipped over. Air conditioning would not shut off. TV didn’t work. Bathroom fan didn’t work. The most positive thing I can say is they had a great breakfast.
AWFUL!!! Dreadful staff, atrocious "breakfast" if you can call it that. Could not get a staff member to be helpful at all. For four days, housekeeping did not clean my room once. Asked for fresh towels, did not get a single towel for my entire stay. Choose ANY other hotel, literally, an, other, hotel.
While staying in Nashville, we decided to grab a bite @ The Hyatt House bar because it was pet friendly & had outdoor seating. What a mistake that was! The food was just terrible. I had a hamburger w/fries. The hamburger had nothing but meat & bun, nothing! The fries were cold & still half frozen. My daughter had a chicken bacon sandwich & it also had nothing but a piece of tasteless chicken w/a strip of bacon on a bun & also cold fries. Had we not been so hungry from exploring Nashville, we would have complained & gone elsewhere but we were starving so we attempted to eat the food! It's bar so we expected bar food, but what we got was tasteless food, which we (only because we were starving) tried to eat but couldn't. I expected more from the Hyatt, especially in that area w/Vanderbilt University & Hospital right there. Any fast-food restaurant would have been better. Shame on the Hyatt!
Great location. We walked to Centennial Park, Vanderbilt University, Belmont University and toured the Belmont Mansion. Mainly we came for the music on Broadway and went downtown every day and the 3 bus was an easy ride with close stops. We visited 18 different establishments and even took a pontoon ride on the Cumberland River. The hotel was a nice place to come back to and relax. It was clean and comfortable, most people observed the quiet hours. The breakfast was excellent with a nice variety and a great start to our day. The workout room was nice and necessary to stretch in the morning since the bed wasn't the greatest. Our Lyft driver back to the airport told us about the great music venues right in the area of our hotel, more rock and roll, etc.. If we come back to the area, for sure we will stay at this hotel again.
Great room, gave us a free upgrade at check in. The free hotel lobby popcorn and seasoning bar was an extra great touch of hospitality and really helpful on late nights coming back from Broadway!
