Looked much more promising online. Carpets in the hallway and elevator were offputting. Worst breakfast in Sri Lanka, e.g we found a handful of sad potatoe wedges available. Waffle took a long time to prepare, despite only few guests were around.

The team at The Radh Hotel is the best I've experienced during my week in Sri Lanka! They hold international service standards paired with warmth and genuine care. I made a last-minute reservation after a 5-star hotel disappointed me with their lapse in service standards, and I quickly found The Radh Hotel through Booking.com. Within hours, the hotel reached out to confirm my booking, and from check-in to check-out, the entire experience was exceptional. - Bellman: Extremely observant! Seeing our car trying to get a spot, he came out quickly to assist us. - Front Office Staff (Danujaya): Welcomed us warmly and even checked if we needed help downloading the PickMe app, showing true proactiveness and care. - Housekeeper: A helpful young man who assisted us through a series of unfortunate events that were through no fault of the staff. - Duty Manager (Mr. Ikram): Resolved those issues decisively without making us feel bad at all, truly exemplifying international service standards. - Breakfast: The best that I've had! Good spread of international and Sri Lankan food. All's really good! Esp the chicken curry :) Every staff member at The Radh is always attentive and smiley. Thank you, Team Radh!

Sound proofing isn't the best, but just let the staff know they'll do their best to resolve and ensure you have a comfortable night sleep.

They have recently refurbished the hotel which is modern & tasteful. Plus they have developed a roof garden with the most magic swimming pool and the stunning views of Kandy. Any guest visiting should definitely swim or view this amazing 4th floor & ask for a room on the 4th floor.

Quality colonial hotel with 5 star service. Great location. Good size room with large beds. This is a 5 star establishment and you get the service.

Building work during the day as they are expanding into next door. You are out during the day so no drama but sometimes hear it at breakfast and up to 6pm. I would stay again with the building work but normally they leave the building work for low season

ロケーションが非常によく、スタッフも礼儀正しい。部屋の掃除も、タオル交換も完璧。水の共有や補充も完璧。冷蔵庫の中のものがフリーなのもうれしい。はじめは何で、８点台の評価なのかわからなかった。最初の段階では１０点満点。また、カード払いは＄建てでOK。他の施設は、＄（Bookin.com表示）ではなく、スリランカルピー(Bookin.comに表示なし）に悪いレートで換算されてカード決済される。

工事は終了していたが、遮音性が低い、エレベータホールの話声、隣の部屋の話声、隣の部屋のチャイムの音等、筒抜け。私は耳栓をもっていたので、大した問題ではなかった。又、朝食で水を頼んだら、有料だったのも初めての経験。部屋の冷蔵庫の中の飲み物はフリーなのに、このバランスが理解できない。隣の、ゲストはスタッフに文句を言っていた。何でこんな不愉快な事をするのかの意味が分からない。金額的には、２００円位の話なので、金額の問題ではない。気分と、チェックアウト時の煩わしさの問題。

Красивый богатый добротный отель. Превосходные завтраки. Предложили билеты на Эсала Перахеру, маршрут которой в этом году проходил по соседней улице. Возможно все-таки немного дороговато. Но впечателния от отеля чудесные.

Hot water didn’t work properly to enjoy the plunge pool

Could have been clearer with disruption info about the festival and the fact that roads would be closed. Ants on the balcony.

The entrance to the hotel was grand,felt like a celebrity getting in.The staff was friendly and professional.They were very welcoming.The interior design within the hotel felt like a little Venice.Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

es wurde das falsche Zimmer zugewiesen . sehr unsauber. falsche Beschreibung des Balkons offene elektro Installation im Zimmer und kein wifi am Pool. Scherben der Nachttischlampe liegen auf dem Nachtisch. das Telefon hat nicht funktioniert und die Beschriftung der Tasten nicht lesbar. kein Schatten und Liegeauflagen am Pool. Poolwasser grünlich . auf der Speisekarte werden die Beträge ohne diverse Zuschläge für Steuern nicht angegeben

Comodo proprio in centro a Kandy e vicino al tempio del dente. Struttura carina e camera anche, forse un po’ piccola. Colazione discreta.

Un po rumorosa, stanno facendo dei lavori all’interno e a volte danno davvero fastidio. Personale mediamente impreparato sia al sevizio colazione che in reception.

Centralissimo. Staff impeccabile, attento e cortese. Ci hanno aiutato tantissimo nella prenotazione dei biglietti per il treno per Ella e per l’esala praehera. Ristorante di sushi però al di sotto delle nostre aspettative.

Liegt sehr zentral, Zahn Tempel liegt direkt an der Straße. Der Service im Hotel ist wirklich sehr gut, entspricht durchwegs der Kategorie. Restaurant war ausgezeichnet, Frühstück habe ich schon mehr erlebt, aber durchwegs sehr gut. Ausblick vom Balkon wäre auf Parade an manchen Tagen sehr gut. Preis im Restaurant auch überraschend überschaubar.

Der reduzierte Preis ergibt sich daraus, dass das Hotel erweitert wird und eine Baustelle im neuen Bereich ist. Die Zimmer dort werden hier vermietet, sind prinzipiell auch schön, eine Endkontrolle würde nicht schaden, bevor ein Gast dort sind: keine Glühbirnen im Bettlicht, Rauchmelder hat noch Schutz Abdeckung drüber, Steuerung fällt aus der Vertäfelung raus, Licht im Bad lässt sich gar nicht abschalten, nicht mal über Master Schalter (Glastüre!)

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr zentral. Zudem wird ein sehr gutes und vielfältiges Frühstück geboten.

Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist in dieser Preiskategorie noch deutlich ausbaufähig. Wir haben bei unserer Ankunft im Zimmer dunkle Haare im Bad entdeckt. Dieses wurde zwar nochmal gereinigt, als wir die Rezeption darauf hingewiesen haben, allerdings war die Sauberkeit des Zimmers dennoch nicht makellos.

Our stay was made exceptional because of the staff. Each and every staff was very attentive and going beyond their job description. As we were traveling with our toddler they made sure to take care of her extra. Location of the hotel is in the heart of the city which is an added point.

La chambre n’était pas propre (cheveux dans le lit, dans le lavabo, draps tachés …). Mais on nous changé de chambre quand nous l’avons signalé. L’hôtel est vieillissant.

The location was fantastic it was a 5 minute walk in to Queens hotel area.

Z ubytování jsem zklamaná, cena za jednu noc je opravdu vysoká za to, co dostanete. Všude jsou špinavé koberce, výhled z pokoje na střechu. Pořád vypadávali pojistky, takže se ve 4hodiny ráno z ničeho nic rozsvítilo, takhle se to stalo několikrát až do pěti do rána, po střeše se neustále něco pohybovalo, takže jsme vůbec nespali. Vybavení v koupelně (kartáčky apod. Vše plné mravenců) nedoporučuji.

La struttura è in centro e lo staffe è veramente gentile. La stanza era pulita e moderna. La colazione è davvero ottima con vasta scelta e piatti preparati al momento. La pecca principale è dovuta ai lavori che disturbavano la quiete, anche alle 23:30 erano ancora udibili rumori. Capisco che stiano ampliando l’hotel ma dovrebbero terminare ad un orario accettabile.

חדר המשפחה שקיבלנו היה ללא חלונות חיצוניים, זאת לאחר שהזמנו חדר דלוקס בבוקינג שהיה פחות מתאים לשהייה של ארבע נפשות. במהלך השהות שלנו בוצעו עבודות שיפוץ בשעות הבוקר ולקראת הפסטיבל שייערך בעיר. ייאמר לזכות המלון שסייע לנו ככל שהיה ביכולתו לעשות כדי להנעים את שהותנו.

Unfortunately, our experience at The Radh was completely unacceptable. We booked this hotel expecting the standards its price and positioning suggest. At no point before our arrival were we informed that the hotel was undergoing expansion works. Had we known this beforehand, we would obviously have considered staying somewhere else. Nobody mentioned the construction during check-in either. We only found out after arriving, through a notice left in our room. That notice specifically stated that the construction work would take place until 5:00 pm. We later learned from a member of staff that these were not unrelated works nearby, but part of the hotel’s own expansion. Our room was located directly next to the construction area. The real problem, however, was not simply that construction work was taking place. It was the way the situation was handled by the hotel and its management. Despite the notice stating that works would finish at 5:00 pm, the noise continued throughout the evening. We contacted reception several times and were repeatedly asked to be patient and given different assurances about when it would stop. Eventually, the manager’s response was essentially that we should wait until midnight for the work to finish. At approximately 11:45 pm, after hours of complaints, we were finally offered the possibility of changing rooms. By then, all our luggage was unpacked and we were already trying to sleep. Offering guests a room change at 11:45 pm after asking them to tolerate construction noise for hours is hardly a reasonable solution. The construction noise, including hammering, finally continued until approximately 12:20 am — more than seven hours beyond the 5:00 pm finishing time communicated by the hotel itself. The following morning, at check-out, reception offered us a 50% refund (€70). We declined it. At that point, money was not the issue.

地點很方便 下樓就有很多吃的跟逛的 而且就在佛牙寺旁邊 飯店裝潢很有摩洛哥風的感覺 迎賓的甜點飲料很棒 早餐還不錯～

Service was great, room was very spacious (unexpectedly received a free room upgrade). Staff were super friendly. Location is right near the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic so it is super convenient for sightseeing.

The property was close to everything.

No hot water at 8pm, then waited 2 hours for maintenance to fix the water. We booked and confirmed 2 single beds. We got a large double bed and a lounge made into a bed. We asked to change rooms due to no hot water and bedding however we were told they were full. The following morning another female traveller advised she requested to move rooms due to noise and she was moved to another room. They then tried to charge for a service that they offered free at the time of checkin.

La ubicación del hotel es formidable, muy céntrico pero sin ruido. Cerca del templo del Diente del Dragón y de tiendas y restaurantes. La habitación y el baño muy bien. El desayuno fantástico.

Nos dejaron en la habitación unas pastas de bienvenida y cuando llegamos estaban llenas de pequeñas hormiguitas.

We loved this hotel! Location unbeatable. Decor lovely. Good size room with balcony, bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty! Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would stay here again and recommend.

We could hear people in the room next door talking, which didn’t impact us as it was early evening, but it might be something to consider.

Comfortable bed, great location, very helpful staff, delicious buffet breakfast . Very close to the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake - no alcohol allowed on premises due to proximity to the temple however that wasn’t an issue for me.

It was so close to Maligawa. Which was one of the best things about the hotel. Also the staff from doorman to wait staff and everyone in between were very friendly and assisted us with all our requests big or small. The room was spacious and clean. Facilities were on point. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

As a family of three, we stayed at The Radh Hotel for one night while traveling through Sri Lanka, and we truly enjoyed our experience. This beautiful boutique hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kandy. Many of the city's main attractions are within walking distance, and you'll find plenty of charming cafés and excellent restaurants just around the corner. We stayed in a Premium Room, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making it a wonderful place to relax. If you're looking to treat yourself to a little extra comfort and luxury during your Sri Lanka journey, The Radh Hotel is an excellent choice. A lovely touch was the premium Spa Ceylon amenities provided in the bathroom, which added to the feeling of quality and indulgence. The bathroom itself was modern, spacious, and equipped with everything you could need. What made our stay even more memorable was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive—perfectly reflecting the incredible kindness that we have experienced throughout Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we felt completely comfortable and well looked after. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend The Radh Hotel to anyone visiting Kandy. A well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars!

Great location with friendly and attentive staff. Stunning big room with two decks and bath outside - loved it!

Ligging ideaal om de stad te verkennen. Service was uitstekend, kamer werd tweemaal per dag opgemaakt. Eten was zeer lekker.

Gym was wel aanwezig maar wel beperkt.
