The staff were so on the ball wanted to make my stay as good as poss!-the room was a good size clean as -had a hairdryer!!breakfast was amazing!!! Perfect location right on a main street walking distance to the tooth temple etc loads of shops&the pubs round the corner !! But v quiet inside i had a lovely sleep!!

המלון ממוקם ממש קרוב למקדש השן. הגענו לשם כשחיפשנו מלון שיהיה מעל התהלוכה של הפילים באוגוסט. הגענו ממש ברגע האחרון כשהרחובות היו כבר חסומים והצוות האדיב של המלון עזר לנו לדבר עם המשטרה ולהכניס אותנו. לקחנו חדר בקומה שצפתה על הפסטיבל וזו היתה חוויה כל כך מהממת שהחלטנו להישאר ללילה נוסף ולראות את התהלוכה מהרחוב.. אנשי הצוות מהמלון היו כל כך אדיבים עמדו איתנו והסבירו לנו את המשמעות של כל ריקוד וכל פיל. החדרים היו נקיים עם מקלחות טובות וזרם טוב. לא לקחנו ארוחת בוקר אבל ישבנו במסעדה פעם אחת והאוכל היה סבבה

El personal, muy amable y eficiente. La ubicación, en pleno centro de Kandy. Fuimos a ver el Perahera y pasaba por la misma calle. El desayuno está muy bien. La habitación tiene de todo.

La habitación es interior y poco luminosa. Sin ventanas al exterior y da a un pasillo. Pero está muy fresquita con el aire acondicionado.

Bonita habitación con todo lo necesario, es una magnífica ubicación. El restaurante es de primer nivel y los camareros siempre atentos a nosotros.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di assistere dal balcone delle nostre camere al Perahera e già questo vale il prezzo. Camere molto grandi e bagno con vasca molto comodo. Staff molto attento e cortese

Nice place with a great location, close to the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. A convenient place to stay in Kandy.

As a Solo female traveller, was made to feel very uncomfortable by the amount of male staff workers downstairs that don't know how to stop staring. made me feel very uncomfortable and resulted in me cutting my stay short! Do better or at least try to hide the oogling!!

I recently stayed at Cafe Aroma Inn and booked a twin-bed room. Overall, the room was very clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was a major plus—it had excellent water pressure for a very comfortable shower, and I really appreciated the separated wet and dry zones.

The air conditioning wasn't cold when we first turned it on. We just decided to wait it out and went to sleep, and it did eventually get cooler late at night. I want to give a strong warning about the breakfast. Even if your room rate already "includes breakfast," be very careful not to choose the American Breakfast. We ordered it and were hit with an extra charge. The text mentioning the surcharge is in very small print on the menu, and unfortunately, the staff did not communicate this clearly to us before we placed our order.

Very central location within walking distance to all places of interest and restaurants. The staff was very welcoming and it was surprisingly quiet. Comfortable room and clean bathroom. Lovely choice of breakfast.

The room only had Indian power points so make sure you have the right adapters.

Was not worth it, one of our beds had dirty sheets, we heard a man snoring all night (paper thin walls) and the bathroom stunk of vomit - earlier that morning we heard someone omitting so it was probably that. Which isn’t the hotels fault but it impacted us and the $70 a night we paid was certainly not worth it.

2 days before my stay the hotel t t me to cancel the booking saying the room was under repair, so i booked an alternAtive . The hotel then charged me for my stay and i am still trying to resolve it. They denied cancelling despite me showing the txts. By coincidence i met and american man who had the identical experience 2 days later. I’d avoid , there are plenty of nicer places in same price range .

No window to the outside (only to a hallway) and no soundproofing at all. Could hear everyone and everything including staff getting ready for their work day early in AM.

We made a great choice when we changed to this accommodation. Right in the centre of the city. The room was very comfortable. The lack of natural light was not a problem, small price to pay for such a great spot and we were close to a shared balcony. The staff in the restaurant and also running the accommodation are truly exceptional. Young Shan is going to have a great career in hospitality I’m sure.

Zentral gelegenes nettes Hotel, freundliches Personal, super Frühstück schon ab 06:30 morgens. Zimmer mit Balkon war schön und groß, Bad ok, Service außergewöhnlich aufmerksam. Wir empfehlen es, wenn man in Kandy nicht auf den Hügeln wohnen will.

It was walking distance to the lake and the temple. (The street was eerily dead at night, though.) The breakfast was fine. The waiters at breakfast were nice.

I think some of the rooms haven't been maintained at all for the past 20 years. I think the A/C unit was 20 years old, and it did not work very well. I don't think the walls have been painted for 20 years. They were in the process of renovating one of the rooms (so the bed and furniture were in the hallway). Hopefully they will eventually renovate all the rooms.

Lage war sehr zentral. Frühstück war sehr gut. Personal bemüht und freundlich.

Man hat kein Fenster im Zimmer. Das „Fenster“ vor dem Bett schaut zum Flur, man muss einen Vorhang zuziehen um Privatsphäre zu haben.

Service attentionné. possibilité d'aller visiter le temple de la Dent avant de prendre le petit déjeuner à la carte.

I am sorry to say there is nothing to like in this what called hotel! Actually it is a hostel and I suggest booking.com to check such places to write the right information on booking site. Room door locks are very bad, air-conditioning very old and noisy, room walls are rotten and musty....etc

Location is good.

We were very dissatisfied with the accommodation. The room was musty and had no window. It was clearly an old office that had been converted into a room. Two sides of the room were made of glass, covered only with curtains, and next to it was a corridor where people were constantly passing by. We tried to change rooms, but it was only possible the next day. However, the rooms offered to us were in the same condition. The only reason we didn’t move to another hotel was because it was pouring with rain and we were traveling with a child — but knowing what we know now, that wouldn’t stop us, and we would definitely not stay there again. Under no circumstances would we choose this hotel again. During our vacation, we had six other accommodations booked, and we did not experience anything like this anywhere else. Additionally, the TV did not work, and there was no hot water on the first day. The staff tried to help, but we faced language barriers.
