It was perfect and comfortable for what I paid.

Easy check in and location to Woolworths across the Rd was handy. ( close to Takapuna town centre.if needed too) Beds were comforable.and the room served our overnight stopover well. Close to local North Shore beaches was cool.

Probably a bit more info, eg: an information leaflet, on the tv and how it works, local services etc would be helpful..

It’s an easy walk to Takapuna CBD

The motel complex felt a bit unsafe at night

The bed is comfy. Heat pump in the room and zero keys.

It’s dodgy. Rugged on the outside. My room is tidy and clean and that’s why it costs what it does

Location & staff

The place is used for emergency housing so didn’t feel safe with some of the other people there. Shower was so small I could hardly fit in and I am of normal size . Didn’t feel clean and it needs some maintenance and upgrades.

Room was abit stuffy. (family bunglow) Lighting was bad outside. Microwave was dirty and was not heating properly I think due to them having an incorrect plate so the turntable was not turning. The bathroom window lever was broken and was not closing properly. We booked for 4 but only 3 plates/cups were in the cupboard. No iron in the apartment.

Near my place of work and i like the ambiance of the room.

The location was great for access to an event in Takapuna. The bed was very comfortable. Great for a short stay and good value.

The room was advertised as having sound proofing but I was quite disturbed by people in the next room. There was only tea available to make but no coffee. There was dirty linen left in the room from the previous people, but it was tucked away and clean linen had been left for me. there was only a bath towel but no hand towel.

While the unit is small it had all the facilities required. It was very clean and tidy. Suited my needs

Staff very helpful and kind. Right across the street from supermarket, wonderful walkways just by the motel, easy to walk to Takapuna and beach, bus stop very close, 3 minutes to Takapuna hospital.

Good central location and a nice self contained room with cooking facilities. We also felt the shower was good and in general it was decent value for money.

Thin walls (!!!) and it had a strange smell. Also, our door (room 14) shut but there was a draft coming through it as if it hadn’t closed properly or wasn’t sealed tight. Might be an issue during the winter.

The location and off street parking was great. Near the motorway and having the motorway across the road was a bonus.

The rooms are so different from the ones you think you're getting or advertised. The first room had a gap at the top of the door. Quite drafty and the room was too small for the air con to be on all night. The lock was for show and didn't work. The second room they tried to convince me to take was again nothing like the pictures and the shower door kept sticking. Third time lucky and a much bigger room, very much like the photos.

Staff are so accommodating Nothing is a problem and very welcoming. Always checking in if you have everything.

The location was good

Receptionist was not very welcoming. The room right off the bat had a weird smell and felt unclean. Bedding felt itchy on the skin and there were a lot of spiders crawling on the bed. Shower was not good there was water going everywhere and it’s very small. Adequate for the price we paid however wouldn’t stay here again.

The motel was really close to where I needed to be for work in Takapuna. Lovely room, self-contained, quiet surroundings and a supermarket within walking distance.

Never saw a staff member after check in, room could do with a freshen up, quite scruffy.

i opted for the cheapest room and, for the price, i thought it was pretty good.

showing me to the room or providing a map to find the room would have been nice. the instructions were confusing, perhaps a language misunderstanding, so i had to search for the room.

Location was fine

Unfortantely this property is a half way house, and is not private. Has a lot of disruptions and a lot of foot traffic. Walls are thin, and neighbours can be heard a lot. This was booked on behalf of someone and they advised they did not feel safe, and proceed to book elsewhere and not stay for the two days.

Quiet,relaxing motel kids enjoyed just the peace

Outside seems old and needs renovating but the inside was great clean comfy bed. I would say the dooor needs rubber around it there’s big gaps

First room was not as picture was down a back alleyway, tiny room door didn't feel like lock was secure so asked to swap, paid extra $41 got put down back with permanent residents who come and left all night with other people 4am last time car left, motel is run down and dosnt not look like pictures, it was me and my young son I did not feel safe at all.

Motels in great location, normally has rather nice rooms, comfy beds

Upon entering the cleaning didnt appear to have been done very well, microwave and fridge also smelt. Build up of scum in bathroom sink and shower. This was one of their un renovated rooms. Ive stayed here numerous times and normally is really good

Keyless entry

They gave me the wrong room, I had booked a 1bedroom suite with full kitchen facilities, washing machine, etc,, they gave me a studio with neither of these options. It was also meant to be soundproof, however it was not at all as I could hear the.people in the reception area and constant traffic etc. The room was not clean at all, mould everywhere the shower curtain was filthy covered in mould, there was also rat droppings in the wardrobe and on top of ot too, also cockroaches, the microwave was filthy, tray covered in fat and mould. The shower was also filthy with mould on the shower head. There was food.and what looked like blood smears on walls and the wardrobe.door which was also broken. The cutlery kitchenware provided including mugs,a single wine glass and glasses were all filthy as well as the dining table. I have stayed once before and the room etc was not so bad. However this was a terrible experience which has totally changed my opinion of pupuke and I would not recommend to anyone I consider a friend etc.

Had mostly everything we needed, was comfortable and easy access. Staff were lovely.

It was all fine but we could have done with toaster and spatula and dish cloth.

Staff were very helpful. Parking handy, great location. Well made beds and fresh towels daily. Thoughtful touches like having body wash and shampoo in the shower. Great having laundry on site too. Curtains thick to protect from any light. Very handy neighbourhood and quiet too.

Nothing. The mattress was quite firm for my personal choice but it’s far better than the opposite.

The king sized bed was comfortable. The room was clean

There was a very drunk man in a neighbouring room who was loud One of the single bed was a trundle and not very comfy

Nothing fancy looking on the outside, but all good inside. Nice new bathroom, comfy big bed. Spacious for a one bedroom. Nice and quiet too. Supermarket across the road. Shore city shopping within walking distance
