The room, the view, the friendly and helpfull staff at reception.

The variety was not up to standard. Some of the dishes was not replaced. Cutlery at the table was not replaced.

Hotel is situated right on Beach Boulevard, providing immediate access to the beachfront, local restaurants, and cycling/walking promenade. Room is super spacious, newly renovated & cutely decorated. Front desk and housekeeping staff is welcoming & ready to help at all times. Breakfast is generous. Bonus: room provides iconic, postcard views across Table Bay toward Table Mountain and Robben Island.

Hotel is located a bit far from central Cape Town. This might be a hassle for travelers focused on spending time downtown. Breakfast coffee is subpar for otherwise lovely breakfast feast. Hotel hallways need some renovations too.

The room was lovely...bed was king size. Views of the beach and table mountain...breakfast was a huge variety and fresh. I would highly recommend xxxxx

This is a large, modern hotel located in Blouberg, approximately a 30 minute drive to the Cape Town CBD. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the facilities in general were excellent. The staff were likewise professional and exceedingly helpful. Blouberg is famous for its direct, face-on view of Table Mountain, but its distance to the CBD may not suit everyone. It didn’t bother me though.

I was under the impression that I booked for breakfast but that was not the case...there were people speaking out side the room for long periods thus not making it feel private and did not really sleep well..

Great view of Table Mountain! Also a good location for a long beach walk. Large room with the standard equipment. Very good breakfast, and the restaurant has a good menu. Safe and secure parking.

Some street traffic noise. We originally were put in a room without a Table Mountain view, but one when we asked. (It is the room type we always book) a Microwave will get us to stay longer.

breakfast and the dinner ordered on Thursday night wasn't the best, the food was bland

the ribs were a lot but only ate 2 pieces no taste at all, we weren't even asked if we wanted chilies sauces, the hotel was great though, will definitely come back again

Breakfast can be improved on. We had dinner only once at the Waves restaurant. Was overpriced and of poor quality. There are much better options available outside and around the hotel

I had booked a family which did not reflect then I booked another room with 2 beds, it was not done, we waited 45 minutes to an hour after travelling all day…I also made a special request as we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday…nothing was done I never leave cos I have been here 3 times this year n everytime there is something wrong .

We loved the location, views from our rooms and the breakfast and food were excellent.The staff were very friendly abd helpful.Parking our car was great too.

Unfortunately we had to ask to move rooms as the toilet was running constantly ( throughout the first night so I didn't sleep very well ) and we were right next door to where the renovations were taking place in A block , with builders arriving to start work at 7.45 .We were satisfied with the 2nd room in B block

The room was a great size, large shower and bath, and a great view! Busy undergoing renovations, but that did not affect our stay. The breakfast was outstanding so we were very impressed!

Always neat and clean with exceptional breakfast

The staff was amazing from the time I booked I was kept in the loop regarding the special request made, I was allowed to come in early to do drop offs. My room was upgraded to one with a balcony at no extra cost and this too was communicated with me before I got there. Their decoration team did a great job. The front staff was so helpful and always eager to assist. I brought a cake which they allowed me to keep in their fridge and took care of it.

My gf and I left the room early on Saturday as we had somewhere to be, we came back after 12noon and room wasn’t cleaned, we then decided to leave again and came back after 2pm but to our suprise the room was still not cleaned we ended up putting a DND sign as we were tired and slept. Our booking had a breakfast option and while we enjoyed the breakfast the sourdough bread was too hard to cut, muffins were stale but the other food was great.

I booked for 2 days just to relax and use the facilities Could not use the jacuzzi or swimming pool.at the spa there was a private meeting was not available for the afternoon. Was so disappointed that I check out a day early.The moring i asked if I could have breafast for free seeing that im booking out a day early was told No and I would be charged for the breakfast. then I asked if I could have a coffee was told there's coffee in the room to make and drink and if I wanted a coffee in the restaurant I would have to pay I did not argue with anyone..The person that checked me out was a trainee as she had someone with her to explain how to do the check out procedures..im 71 years old I don't argue anymore if im not happy I move on..the previous time the pool and jacuzzi was also not working due to renovations..when I booked in I asked if the pool was available and the jacuzzi i was told yes it's available but when I went the doors were looked and the lady told me it was closed for the day.will not go there again kind regards Manny

We love the views from this hotel. It is also centrally situated so you can easily move around different shopping malls or attractions. We were also greeted by very friendly staff. And the breakfast buffet is great!

It seems like the hotel needs a bit of "tlc" as the furniture is very outdated and old. The air conditioning was also not working making these lovely sunny rooms extremely uncomfortable. This was our 2nd time we visited and mentioned it. Hope they get it sorted soon!

Breakfast was very comprehensive, made to order eggs/omlettes and fresh fruit was very nice. Pool area was great, bars/restaurants very clean, room was spacious & immaculate, great view from balcony.

Did not cross the highway to get to the beach as I was afraid of the traffic. Traffic was noisy while on the balcony, wished I’d asked for a higher floor- I was in B-102. Would have loved smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers/onions at the breakfast buffet. Staff need to speak up a bit, I had to keep asking staff to repeat what they said—the girls in the restaurant etc. seemed shy.

Only 1 complaint. Received an email after booking from reception asking if we'd like mini bar items, booking at restaurant so the room could be prepped and none of it was done. Only thing that annoyed me but the staff on site and the room made up for that.

The location + views are the star of the show! Also, comfortable room and helpful staff.

The gallery was closed for a private event so I could not access it for the duration of my stay. It was one of the reasons I had chosen to stay there.

View was awesome and room very spacious and comfortable as well as the cocktail bar had great service and view.

Unfortunately our service lady at dinner had no idea what she was doing. Did not know the menu and pulled her face when we were asking about vegetarian dishes as well as had no idea on drink stock etc. Was a real negative to great food we received. We even cancelled our desert as she got it wrong twice.

They had maintenance from early the morning on the 8th floor and cleaning late which disturbed one's sleep.

The view is spectacular despite the motorway in front of the hotel. The staff was also very friendly.

The rooms were not soundproof which was a little disturbing. I was also quite cold at night because the doors that opened up to the balcony to the beautiful view were not impermeable and let through cold air at night. It was an open plan room with the bathroom ( bath and basins) part of the room. I thought it is not suitable to share the room with someone who is not a close family member.
