Residenza Madonna

It’s right next to the regionale station in Pompei and a very easy 20 minutes walk (you turn right and then follow the main road) to Pompei scavi station (plus the ruins). It’s recently renovated so feels like a hotel with free tea and coffee plus free water from the minibar fridge (this was really useful to take with me on my daily trips). There was self check-in (which was very easy) so missing my train because of a delayed flight wasn’t an issue. When I come back to Pompei, I’ll be staying here.

Central walking location was amazing. Modern, very spacious and super clean, quiet. The air conditioner was great during the intense summer heat. Host was wonderful.

I wish the mini-fridge was colder and had a small freezer for our ice packs. Some confusion finding the place- couldn’t find the address in my booking account and the google maps photo didn’t correspond with actual building or have the civic number, but the host replied very fast with the answer.

The room was lovely needed a twin room and was contacted to confirm this. Sent instructions before arrival , clear and friendly communication with restaurant recommendations. Room clean and staff lovely and so so friendly and helpful. Located 10 mins walk from the ruins. Definitely recommend

Everything was perfect. Communication with staff was excellent and everyone was friendly. Check in easy. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. Central location but quiet. We couldn’t have had a better stay. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the ruins but get a taste of real Italian life too.

Posizione centrale vicino a tutti i principali siti d'interesse. Facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione dei treni si arriva in pochi minuti a piedi.

The property was very central to everything, everything was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The staff where very friendly!

We could not hear any noise from outside.

It would have been more practical if the mini fridge was empty/contained just water rather than a mini bar but that is a detail.

The rooms were a very good size, with excellent air conditioning and a lovely balcony overlooking the plaza and towards Mount Vesuvius. We stayed in room 203 and found the location incredibly convenient, with some excellent restaurants and bars close by. The staff were enormously helpful, especially Teresa, who was always on hand to answer questions, help with any problems and give us some fantastic recommendations for places to eat and beaches to visit. We also really appreciated the local discounts on food. Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we would definitely return.

Very little. We were travelling with two children, and because sound can carry quite easily through the building, we were sometimes conscious of trying to keep them quiet for other guests. It was only a minor consideration and didn’t detract from our stay at all. The children had a fantastic time, and so did we.

We had a fantastic stay. The location in Pompeii is extremely central, making it super easy to get around. The room was sparkling clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. A huge thank you to Teresa – she was so nice, extremely helpful, and always reachable whenever we had a question. We would love to come back!

La posizione è ottima, vicinissima alla stazione e al santuario, non distante dall'anfiteatro romano (ingresso secondario agli scavi). La camera è ampia e confortevole; lo stesso dicasi del bagno.

Forse i cuscini sono un po' troppo alti.

La posizione strategica al centro di Pompei. L’entrata e i corridoi profumati e puliti. Stanza moderna, semplice e confortevole. Frigo-bar con acqua gratuita. Aria condizionata e finestre spesse.

Lieve ronzio delle luci perimetrali della camera quando accese e forse poca insonorizzazione tra i muri adiacenti alle altre stanze.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Residenza Madonna in Pompeii. The room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with thoughtful touches like air conditioning, a balcony, and a kettle that made it feel like home after long days of exploring. The host was welcoming and helpful, making check-in easy and ensuring I had everything I needed. The location was excellent within walking distance of both the Pompeii archaeological site and the train station, making it easy to explore the area and continue my travels through Italy. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Residenza Madonna to anyone visiting Pompeii.

Close location to town shops and restaurants on the main road - Pompeii park entrance is walking distance.

Large, beautiful, comfortable and sparkling clean rooms, situated in a perfect location in the centre of the modern city and close to the Pompei train station and the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance of the Parco Archeologico. The staff is wonderful, kind and very helpful. And then there is Teresa the gracious host whose amazing hospitality, sunny presence and warmth add that personal touch to every conversation you have with her, and to every piece of information she shares with you. Teresa is an excellent communicator, always there to help with everything you might need and enjoys going way above and beyond to make everyone’s stay a great experience!

Wonderful location, beautiful and comfortable digs, and excellent host. It was our second time there and Teresa is a wonderful and kind host.

The room was large, sofa and bed were in our room. It was extremely clean. There was a national strike on the day we left and the staff were extremely helpful, letting us know which train would get us to Naples.

Perfect location, just a few minutes away from the archaeological park and the train station. The area is peaceful, yet only a 3-minute walk from a variety of excellent restaurants. I rarely feel this comfortable and welcome when traveling! Everything in the room is brand new and impeccably clean. To top it all off, Teresa is an exceptional and discreet host. Thank you Teresa !

Die Lage ist toll. Der Bahnhof ist mehr oder weniger gleich ums Eck, ebenso wie diverse Lokale. Die Ausgrabungen sind ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Den Empfehlungen des Hauses kann man guten Gewissens folgen. Das ganze Haus war super sauber, die Kommunikaiton wertschätzend, offen und hilfsbereit, der Service durchdacht.

Great accomodation. Great host very helpful..would stay again if in Pompei.

The property is close to Pompei entrance and restaurants. It’s a clean and well maintain place. Teresa is such a great manager. She made sure we reached even though it was almost mid night. Helped us with the map of the place, provided tips and overall was very prompt with her communication. Really warm staff, the candies(in the hallway) were really good too. Enjoyed our stay! Would recommend!

The room was large with a lovely terrace and in a very quiet neighbourhood. It was also within walking distance of the ruins. Teresa gave us some good recommendations for nearby restaurants which were also near to the hotel.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like. It was perfect.

Great property, in a perfect location, just 4 mins walk from the station and 20 mins from Pompeii archaeological site. Lovely restaurants and cafes in the surrounding streets, but the accommodation is located in a quiet street. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. The rooms are immaculately clean and modern with everything you should need and some lovely extra touches. I would definitely return.

Location is within easy walking distance for the archaeological site, but also for the modern town centre (and the stations), but on a quiet side street. The room was had lovely decoration and was a good size for staying a couple of nights. Teresa is a very hospitable and helpful host - her advice to catch the bus from the bus station next to the airport direct to Pompeii was a good tip (try to book ahead - or arrive early to get a seat).

Residenza Madonna offers very clean and modern accommodation within walking distance of the centre of Pompei and close to one of the entrances to the Pompei Archeological Park. The proprietor, Teresa, was so helpful! Excellent communication, prior to and during our stay, proving lots of helpful information about restaurants, activities and transport. If you’re visiting Pompei I very highly recommend this property!

Everything was clean and tidy to an exceptional standard. The location was minutes walk from the centre and about a 20 minute walk from Pompei ruins. Teresa, who was my point of contact, was 10/10 giving me plenty of help and information and even advice.

Personally, nothing to dislike. A two night stay at the price and the location was amazing.

The host Teresa was faultless. We had the best taxi company organised by her which made a huge difference to our arrival in Naples. The accommodation is in a great part of Pompeii and very close to the quieter entrance to the ruins. Two train stations easily accessible and great restaurants just around the corner. I would never have thought staying in Pompeii itself would be so pleasant but will recommend this option to anyone I know who is coming here.

The location here is perfect to enjoy a few days in Pompeii -- close to restaurants and entrance to archaeological site. The room was spacious, with terrace, and very clean.

I always prefer a check-in where I am greeted in person by the host. As in many other properties these days, this does not happen here.

Absolutely gorgeous little hotel in a superb location in Pompei town, 2 minutes on foot from the railway station that takes you to Naples, 8 minutes on foot from the other railway station with trains to Herculaneum. Spotlessly clean, tea, coffee, a little cookie and mineral waters provided free of charge every single day. Comfortable beds, stunning bathroom, amenities, clean AC, Netflix, elevator in the building. The nearest entry point to Pompeii Archaeological Park is about 10 minutes on foot. Restaurants nearby, and a huge supermarket about 15 minutes on foot. Would 100% go back! Teresa, the owner and her dad are ever so helpful! Every day it felt like we went home after a long day of walking.

La gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietà, la perfetta pulizia di tutti gli ambienti, l’ampiezza e la posizione della camera dal lato interno, quindi non rumorosa, la comodità del letto e la disponibilità di due tipologie di cuscino. Non ultimo: la presenza di ascensore che con le valigie risulta fondamentale.

Nulla, struttura molto soddisfacente. Non sarebbe male se ci fosse una convenzione per colazione con un bar o pasticceria nei dintorni, ma capisco che non trattasi di bed&brealfast. Comunque c’è molta scelta nei dintorni.

In primis la cortesia e disponibilità dei gestori. La struttura è nuova e molto ben curata sì nella pulizia che nei dettagli.

A comfortable and hospitable place to stay. This accommodation is extremely comfortable, with bright and clean rooms. It offers easy access to the entrance of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii (Piazza dell'Anfiteatro) and two main railway stations, with restaurants and the gelato shop nearby.

O quarto corresponde exatamente às fotos. Limpo, organizado, roupas de cama e banho confortáveis e alvas. Teresa é de uma gentileza ímpar! Indicou ótimos restaurantes e cafés. Eu recomendo este lugar.

A localização é muito boa. Eu particularmente gostaria de ter ficado mais próxima da Porta Marina, do parque arqueológico. Mas a pousada é perto da porta próximo ao anfiteatro do parque. Em compensação, o lugar é excelente à noite, a poucos passos da via sacra, onde tem bons restaurantes e cafés. Ou seja, o lugar é ótimo. A questão de não ser perto da Porta Marina é um detalhe, que se compensa pela facilidade de movimentação noturna.

Neat and spacious room, very close to the archieological site and city center. Well organized and very forthcoming staff.

This is my second time back to Residenza Madonna, it's a lovely place to stay. It's very comfortable, plenty of room, water in the shower is always hot. Teresa is always on hand through wots app if you need anything. Close to centre of Pompeii & one of the entrance gates to the ruins.

Drinks in fridge should be labelled which has alcohol, as one was opened by mistake.

Liked the balcony with sea view Bed was comfortable Bathroom was clean Laura the receptionist was very attentive and helped me organize my plans, what to do, how to get everywhere and called taxi for me when I left. I really appreciate her she was very kind and genuinely helpful. I would go back because of her. The housekeeper was very sweet.

The breakfast buffet worker was not that nice and seemed irritated with me.

Très bien rien à dire, je suis une femme qui voyage seule et je recommande cet établissement d’abord si vous venez en voiture comme moi soit parking de la gare soit dans les rues, personnellement j’ai trouvé dans la rue parallèle à celle de l’hôtel vous téléchargez l’application easypark et vous choisissez et modifiez vos horaires 😊, la propriétaire est adorable et son papa aussi, la chambre est belle moderne propre, pas de bruit, juste à côté de l’entrée de Pompei en plus c’est l’entrée la moins fréquentée donc pas de queue sans fin, les restaurants et bars autour super, pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas l’Italie sachez que lorsque vous prenez une boisson style spritz on vous sert l’aperitivo équivalent des tapas, dans les vrais bars c’est comme ça pas les bars à touristes, le meilleur est à côté de la cathédrale. Ercolano est à 20 min en voiture avec circulation allez y comme pour Pompei à l’ouverture pour les voitures garage en sous sol j’ai payé 6€ pour trois heures. Parking très bien, pensez à la monnaie pour les péages autour de Napoli, souvent la carte bleue fonctionne pas. Bon séjour

Perfect location. Down a side street but central enough to get to train stations, restaurants and archaeological site within minutes on foot. Very comfortable bed and everything spotlessly clean. Teresa is a dream come true and so helpful if you should need anything or any information. Highly recommended.

Totalmente recomendable. La casa es nueva, la habitación muy espaciosa. La casa está situada muy cerca de la estación de tren de Pompei Santuari, perfecta para ir a las excavaciones de Herculano o a Nápoles. Las excavaciones de Pompeya están a 15 minutos andando ( junto a la estación de Pompei Scavi). Teresa es encantadora, te ofrece indicaciones sobre transporte, restaurantes, etc. Alrededor de la casa hay restaurantes para desayunar o cenar. Todo perfecto.

L’allestimento della camera era completo e ben pensato: tutto ciò di cui si può aver bisogno era a disposizione. La posizione dell’albergo è strategica, situata esattamente tra la stazione e il parco archeologico, il che ha reso ogni spostamento comodo e piacevole. Ma ciò che ha reso davvero speciale il mio soggiorno è stata la gentilezza e la grazia di Teresa. Una persona di rara eleganza, accogliente e simpatica, capace di far sentire ogni ospite come a casa propria. Teresa ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin, sie hat sich sehr gut um alles gekümmert. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann zu Fuß alles erreichen und ist in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße untergebracht ohne Lärm und ohne starken Verkehr. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, hatten eine gute Zeit in Pompeji und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The location is in a side street and nice and quiet. The information provided was great, from details regarding the accommodation to recommended places to eat. Various maps and booklets are also available. The accommodation was clean, spacious with a nice balcony and air conditioning. Good selection of drinks in the mini bar and a nice clean bathroom with good quality towels.

Only a personal preference, that the bed was a little soft. But I still got a good night's rest.
