Our room was roomy and comfortable. Teas, coffees and biscuits were replenished every morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the restaurant food was of a very high standard with large portions, perfect after supporting the Ironman athletes all day! 👌

The property was immaculate. The rooms were much bigger than we expected. Staff were so accommodating and actually allowed us to check in early due to needing to get ready for a wedding. Overall a fab stay!!

Perfect place to stay...

Just exactly what we needed. Main bed was a large, generous size and mattresses were perfect - we all got a good night's sleep Everything was easy, room was well stacked with water and multiple coffees and teas, etc. Rooms were sizeable, bathroom was modern and shower was high pressure. Heard nothing from the restaurant / bar two floors or so below us. We ate in the bar / restaurant there in the evening - food was great, portions were generous, staff were helpful and hard working and we thought it was decent value for money. The accommodation is very central and very close to the beach. We enjoyed it

Not a big issue but a couple of guys presumably working in the street opposite made a right noise speaking loudly (basically shouting) soon after 8am on a Saturday morning, which we could hear and could have done without!

Excellent location - close to shops and the beach. The room was spacious and modern. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was great!

The room could benefit from air conditioning

Lovely contemporary stylish yet cosy rooms - plenty of space, comfortable beds. Excellent location a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of Tenby. Excellent restaurant too - book ahead in summer!

A as little noisy - extractor fans from the other rooms are a bit loud at night. A shame there’s no mini fridge in the room and no option for breakfast.

Nous avons demandé avant d'arriver et de choisir cet hotel, s'il n'était possible de se garer. Et n'avons reçu aucune réponse. La chambre est confortable mais absolument aucun service. A ce prix, c'est injustifiable.

Location and food

The Billycan is in a good location. Close to the town walls and railway station. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good. Generous portions.

The room was street facing and the sun shone in most of the day. I found the duvet too heavy and would have preferred a lighter weight quilt. However this is a personal choice. There was a fan in the room, however we did not use it.

The location was excellent.

It didn’t offer breakfast in the restaurant.

Family of 3 adults stayed in the superior room. Ideal location for pubs and shops. Walking distance to the beach. Stunning bathroom. Spacious room. Can't really fault it. Had lunch at Billycan which was 10/10. Thai fishcake and noodles were delicious. Friendly staff. Second time I've had food there and will continue to book there every visit to Tenby.

Location and the staff were excellent. Good tea/coffee facilities with biscuits and WiFi in the rooms.

The smell of food particularly late evening and then on locked door allowing access to the rooms from people who were not staying in the rooms. Rooms starting to look a little tired compared to our last stay four years ago.

A little expensive due to no parking and no breakfast included.

The amount of stairs to the room with no lifts, no disability access. No safety catches on the windows. Rough around the edges, the photos displayed are 9 years old. The place needs a refresh. It is not worth £150 per night and the customer service was poor when it came to resolving an issue, causing unnecessary duress. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for luxury or comfort. It's very basic and there was nothing superior about the room we were allocated upon arrival. We didn't stay due to my wife's disability and the property being inaccessible with nothing on the site describing the access. We found out upon arrival whereby my wife was walked up two flights of steep stairs, whilst wearing a neck brace and using crutches, her disability being very visible resulting in her being in agony and becoming ill afterwards. We then had a stressful experience in trying to obtain a refund with the owner and a member of staff being discourteous to my wife on the phone while trying to get the matter resolved.

Large modern well equipped room. Plenty of beverages in room. Additional biscuits and bottled water was a nice touch. Good quality toiletries.

Breakfast would have been a bonus. A bit noisy outside on the street with windows closed.

I couldn’t fault it from beginning to end - prime location, lovely spotless room, staff so friendly and helpful despite it being really busy when we arrived.

The light in the rooms, the level of warmth. The facilities were good and location to the town was superb

It got noisy as the pubs shut, which was unfortunate. Limited parking and stairs inside meant we had to carry our cases up and down to our rooms

Great location, although no on street parking there was a multi storey car park nearby which was free to park on in December but would have been only 3 pounds for 24hours other times, food in the restaurant was good portions were massive

We didn’t eat at the billycan, as we were down to see family and ate at their houses, although the menu looked great and did see some of the dishes which looked amazing

It can be a bit noisy outside, but this is the same for any central property in Tenby . I always earplugs !

Lovely clean and modern room. The restaurant was also very good and would definitely return to eat there. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very hot, be great to have controlled the temperature in the room ourselves.

Upon arrival staff we're very welcoming and friendly, everything was explained really well. The room was lovely, it was clean and spacious it had nice little touches such as the towels folded into hearts on the bed, lovely toiletrie pack with tea and coffee etc. We also had a reservation for food in the evening which we booked in advance, and I can say that the food was out of this world. Again the staff and service was fantastic and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff at the Billycan for such a lovely stay.

All good. Maybe a hand attachment with the shower. A cooked breakfast option would be nice, but cafes nearby. Parking closer would be good. A mention that in my case, the room was up 3 flights of stairs.
