Located close to stadium and downtown
Parking was a mess with a truck, very tight fitting. Room didn’t get cold even set at 65 not the usual quality hotel AC.
Location, property
Elevators an issue, no button inside elevator. Ballet not very helpful in terms of public parking, then they charged us anyway
Great location
Front desk didn’t explain much
The bedroom was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious/loved the showerhead. Appreciate the courtesy note when I placed a do not disturb sign that housekeeping did come by but was unable to enter due to the do not disturb sign placed.
The day housekeeping was able to access my room, they did not leave another floor mat. Other than this, I did not have any other issues.
The location the location was excellent
The elevator took forever we checked in and same people were waiting on the elevator still another guest said where are the stairs at? We went and waiting then my husband asked a worker were are the stairs the employee said come on he took us to the stairs I thought it was the 4th floor no were on the 14th floor so we stayed and proceeded to the elevator it took us 1 hr to rooms every time an elevator game up it was full everytime so we saw an employee take a few guest too the service elevator so we took that along with another family that was waiting the service elevator went down and came back keep stopping on floors a few more guest got on service elevator as well 1 hr too get to our rooms it was our 1st time staying there. Alos as much money we spend then you have to pay 25.00 for breakfast!! Other than that it was an coverall beautiful stay! Will differently stay again.
Super clean, great locations and central to downtown Cincy
Horrible experience older hotel and incompetent staffing
Location
The windows let the bass from the music in too loud for me.
Location
Windows did not hold noise out from the outdoor music all I heard was the bass.
Nice building inside
No pool, hard to navigate with one way roads and not well marked for entrance
Bed was comfortable Location
No room service Bathroom, one side of the shower is the toilet, the other the door stop which I scraped my foot on. Too close to the shower when stepping out. Having to use the room key every time to get on the elevator. Then my wife cut her foot on the escalator trying to take our bags down because I turned the key in to get from the lobby floor down to the " other" elevator you have to use to get to the parking lot. Having to pay for parking every time I leave the hotel or pay $50 a day for valet Guess they have satellite because it rained and the TV lost signal.
bednothing
Clean, quiet, in a great location.
I wish it was advertised somewhere that the swimming pool has been closed since COVID. We booked this hotel because - among other things - we were looking forward to go swimming with the kids. When we were unable to find the pool and presented to the front desk in our swim gear, we were told the pool was closed. Suffice it to say: the children were very disappointed.
The room was extremely clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We had tickets to a baseball game and the location was perfect for walking to the ballpark!
The bathroom needed a little tlc from maintenance. I didn't notice until I had gotten out of the shower and looked in the mirror that there was a rubber seal hanging out of the light in the shower. It actually caught me off guard because the way it hung down made it look like a snake! By the time my husband got out of the shower it had completely fallen out and onto the floor. We picked it up and placed it on the back of the toilet for housekeeping to see.
Great location. Very clean with a wonderful staff. Parking on site on Vine Street!
After booking the Westin nearly a year in advance directly through the Marriott Bonvoy site for a conference a few blocks away, I arrived on the day for check-in and was told the room wasn't ready. No biggie - it was before noon. An hour or so later, I received a phone call from the hotel telling me that my reservation was being cancelled because the hotel was oversold and they were moving me to a Courtyard Hotel across the river in Kentucky. The front deck staff was apologetic, and they offered to compensate me for one night of my two-night stay and some Marriott points. Yes, it was something, but the inconvenience of this move was more significant the room comp and points offer. Before making the trip to the Courtyard, instinct told be to call to verify my reservation and I was told that they had me down for one-night, but they couldn't accommodate the second night. At this point, I had to speak with the Westin front desk to have them to confirm that I was indeed confirmed for two nights. After a $25 Uber ride to go 1.8 miles, I checked in at the Courtyard, which now created a logistical challenge getting back and forth to my conference. It gets better though! After the first night, I receive an AMEX alert showing a charge from the Courtyard for $600+ for the second night. I immediately went to the front deck and was told that their rate for the second night was $549 plus tax, which was not communicated to me before I was moved. My original rate at the Westin was $379/night plus tax. In short, I was screwed out of my reservation that I made nearly one year in advance. Then, moved from a full-service hotel to a mid-tier hotel out of the city center and charged more per night for the privilege. As I type this review, I've been on hold for over 1.5 hrs. waiting to speak with a manager in Marriott's customer service about this situation. Absolutely egregious!
not much at all
Parking in basement garage was miserable and expensive! Elevators was difficult to use, no breakfast
The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the location was perfect. It was right near the Connector and was surprisingly quiet for being right on Fountain Square.
A few things were inaccessible or broken while we were there. The restaurant Ingredients didn't have coffee drinks, only brewed coffee, because of a broken machine, and was closed well before 1pm as we were told. And the lower level restrooms were locked after hours even though we had room keys and were customers of the bar.
Location near Reds game
Shower floor was slippery
Location
No good bars or restaurants inside or close by
The staff was really nice.
Room was old, outdated, bed was really old and uncomfortable, bathroom dirty and the ceiling was falling down. Just gross
The outdated shower. Need to upgrade.
Everything was good but booking customer service was very bad
This stay was a great location in downtown Cincinnati. The facility was very secure and the staff was great! Especially the front desk and our Valet during our stay was Logan G. He was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure me and my family felt comfortable staying at the Westin this past weekend!
The location was great. It was close to the fountain square. Also walking distance to the Great American Ballpark.
The facility needs a major upgrade. The first room we had the shower felt like it would sink in. Once we started the shower a mildew and sewage smell came from the bathroom. Water was leaking on the floor from the shower. It was a mess. The friendly staff moved us to a new room right away. It’s time for the Westin to invest in a major renovation.
Staff was very nice
Usually everything is good, this time there were some issues, toilet seem to be leaking, refrigerator wasn't keeping my drinks cold, ice machine wasn't working, had to go to another floor, WiFi wasn't working, room temperature was working 😕
Rooms look like they are in need of update and maintenance. Worn out looking.
Rooms look like they are in need of update and maintenance. Worn out looking. Parking was an issue if you have an oversized vehicle
Stayed at the Westin for a wedding. The downtown location is walkable to nicer restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly and attentive our room was clean but, the hotel is dark and a little dated.
It was not far from our concert, very nice walk.
Access to close parking.
Great location
The water kept filling up while in the shower
Excellent staff and hotel. Close to Great American Ballpark where we watched chef the Savannah Bananas and Indy Clowns play.
I felt safe and secure in the hotel. All staff was nice! Rooms was clean. My daughter was with the elevator!
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
Comforter
Air conditioning and clogged sink
Excellent hotel. Clean and beautiful. And after the concert, police were patrolling everywhere. Very safe walking. .
Only thing is lobby was so dark it was hard for us old folks to see anything.
Didn’t buy breakfast. Too expensive for what was offered.
Free breakfast would have been nice.
Location
Price for the ammenties too high
Registration went well. Nice staff pleasant enough. I liked the pillows.
The restaurant is poor ! Food was terrible , especially for the ridiculous cost. The staff was depressing. Except for one woman.
El dormitorio era limpio y hermoso.
Location
Was NOT CLEAN… we had to change rooms! Very dated interior! Hallways were very deem!
Location to stadium
The hotel was very nice. Plenty of stuff to eat and drink, right next fountain square, 10 minute walk to the riverfront.
I didn’t like that my reservation said continental breakfast. But no breakfast was offered. My reservation also said pay at the property. But my card was charged 205 by booking.com and 205 by the Westin Cincinnati. And customer service from both was basically a run around.
I think the location was good for my first time visit the city. The hotel was nice, big and very clean. The location was good and within walking distance or a short drive to lots of great restaurants and things to do.
All interactions with the staff was either not great or bad. The last and final interaction with the Manager (Jaylen) and the fact that our hotel room was nice “may” be the only reason I will ever come back here. The attached garage to the property is the worst to get into especially with a bigger vehicle, said by my other half who did the driving and said it was dangerous to say the least. The person who checked me in, that I had to also deal with another two times due to her incompetence and obviously having other places she’d rather be vs at work named “Milan” really needs to up her customer service skills or find a new job. We also had to have the iron replaced and noticed just in time to finally get a new one to the room and get ready in time for our reservations we had. I had to call down twice to ask for it. Of course Milan answered first with her attitude and the second time I called the gentleman was great and said he would get it right up to us. The fact there was no microwave and vending machines on the floor made it seem more like a Vegas hotel, since you’d have to go to front desk area to warm any food up. Finally the Elevators!! Ugh! So confusing to figure it out and know what to do as a first time guest and noticed others having the same issue. Not sure if the staff was just off that day or they do not actually inform guest of things I feel should be explained on check in or hand out a sheet of paper with some details/Instructions(Tips) A suggestion area or things to do in area and/or offering a shuttle bus would be a nice touch too.
My room was not ready at check-in and almost missed the event I traveled to Cincinnati for. Hotel was severely understaffed at check in.
Overall, this was a nice place. Good location, clean and comfortable. View into the city and over the fountain square was quite nice.
The room was strangely cold even though the temperature didn't drop below 28C the entire time I was there. Also, no fault of the hotel's but, some live music being played in the square on Friday and Saturday so you'll need ear plugs if you go to bed early.
I was walked from the Westin to the Kinley hotel. The room I had originally booked was a king size suite with a view. The room I was given upon moving was 2 sets of bunk beds for me and my wife who is 7 months pregnant. I didn't find out about the Westin being over booked until we arrived at the hotel where the receptionist acted like we were at the wrong hotel until I gave her my confirmation number. Then she acted as if we were beneath her and couldn't get rid of us fast enough. When I called the hotel to speak to a manager with a general question about my stay, the lady I spoke with on the phone asked if I was even looking at the letter that I was given and if I was smart enough to understand it. The staff I interacted with were absolutely unprofessional and I would advise anyone not to stay at this hotel.
Staff was excellent!!! The hotel room was nice, bathroom in room was way to small... The hotel needs updated!!
Staff were very polite and accommodating. Rooms were emaculate.
Can't think of anything not to like.
room was nice
TV to small for a big room
It was so busy that valet parking was unavailable so we had to drive around the block twice to park. Not the hotel’s fault, but be aware if you’re staying for an event, get there plenty early!
Friendly staff, Location, clean and very comfortable bed.
Nothing we didn't like.
Everything
Everything was great
Garage could not fit my vehicle
Everything
We were there for our anniversary! The staff was absolutely fantastic, the room was very clean and the location was great, close to the baseball stadium!
The location was great. The comfort and quality of the hotel was nice.
I thought we would of had a mini fridge in our room, but what we had was decent.
Great location and fabulous accommodating staff
I’ve stayed at the Westin several times because it’s basically the only hotel with conference facilities in downtown Cincinnati. The location is very central, and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed if showing their age a little bit. Restaurant options are very limited in the hotel itself. Here’s my tip: if you want a quiet hotel stay, get a room on the opposite side of the building from the square. The hotel considers rooms facing Fountain Square to be an upgrade, and that’s what I got. Unfortunately, it was during Cinco De Mayo weekend, which meant live music was playing on the square for most of the day and evening Saturday and all day Sunday. Doing a little work or taking a little nap in the room was impossible, despite being across the street and 15 floors up, and wearing silicone ear plugs! If none of this drowns out the music sufficiently, you’ve got a hotel with a noise problem. It isn’t a city thing. Mind you, I have stayed in downtown hotels in London, Chicago and New York and have never had this problem.
Location
Parking. Air went out. Pryor to booking asked about transportation for venue at Heritage Center and was told will accommodate. Night before was told I was mislead even though I had it in email. Had to leave floor to get and vending products.
Staff was very nice,no waiting long line, room was cleaned nicely, loved the bathroom tub and shower, and nice view outside
The vallet parking wasn't around so I parked in garage myself, kind of creepy going to garage, and picking my car up to leave was a bit difficult, the pay machine was out of order and trying to pay in the garage was not taking my credit card,it kept denying my credit card
Great location and staff was very nice.
Rooms and bed were very comfortable and rooms seemed to be quiet.
Great location, very clean, friendly staff
The A/C didn’t really work in my room. Temperature never got below 75.
Loved the location, rooms were a nice size, and staff was so friendly.
The elevators took FOREVER and were always filled, I think only 2/4 were being used. And having to pay for parking in a really really tight garage was frusturating.
Location
Parking garage to tight for larger pickup truck
The Westin was nice. The bed was comfortable.
The TVs don’t have a good selection of channels and were small
La atención del personal del front desk
El desayuno. Decepcionante
Always clean and well maintained
Beautiful property

Friendly & kind staff, they helped us multiple times. So close to great restaurants! The steak restaurant below the hotel brought our food to the front desk, there is a Parisian bakery around the corner, and activities in the park in front of the hotel (not too loud though!)
No complaints
Great view! Great room! Great employees! Jovi at the front desk was so great to work with and she is so nice!!
Great location, clean, comfortable room
A little noisy
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and facilities were great. Exercise room was one of best I’ve experienced in a hotel.
Room was cleaned, staff was very nice, the view of the square was nice
Pillows could've been a little bit firm
Jalen at check in was awesome. Great hotel
Near the square
Needs updated, not all staff speak English, refrigerator in my room did not work, asked for someone to look at it 3 times, no one came..
