21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati

21C is an amazing experience.

The overall experience, staff and the location made my stay absolutely awesome.

A limpeza e serviços em geral foi bem ruim - meu quarto ficou mais de 2 dias sem trocar toalhas ou arrumar cama e tirar lixo. Para um hotel deste nível acho que o mínimo esperado é que retirem pratos e copos usados e o lixo. Além disso deixaram a porta do quarto aberta um dia que saí cedo e voltei apenas à noite - neste mesmo dia pedi que trouxessem água e levou mais de 2 horas e 3 ligações para trazerem a água.

Facilities were not in good condition! Aircon in bedroom rattled each time it came on! Bathroom soap lotion containers were empty no garbage can in the bathroom few hangers in the closet. Cleaning service was slow restaurant times were limited rooftop bar was under repair.

I was checking out and as we were checking out in the midst stopped everything to go assist another check in with bags and didn't pardon himself in anyway. Other than that very nice for the night. I didn't like it didn't have a tub

Restaurant breakfast was … disappointing at best. The room didn’t have a fridge, the phone was a cordless that had not been plugged in, so it was useless to ask where the ice machine was located, oh wait there isn’t one. The phone was useless to call and have our car brought around. Waiting in the lobby while it was pulled around wouldn’t be so bad, if there was a place to sit. The room was a Deluxe King, it was… well it had a king bed so I should be satisfied right? We saved the museum till evening since the literature says open 24/7. But they forgot to mention the doors are closed at 9:00pm. We were told by security guard to come back in the morning when the doors would be open. The location was great, the staff kind and friendly. The facility, was bland, white, and the room had no color except for an odd placed portrait of a pig. The light switch had dimmers but the bulbs were not the dimmable variety so it was like a strobe light or full power. The bottom line, we felt we over paid. We felt we paid a premium to stay in a Holiday Inn experience. We felt like, you got us… joke is on us…. Not the experience we were going for. Not likely to return or gamble on 21C in the future.

The bed was comfortable

The hotel is run down. The shower heads need some updating, lots of calcium build up and it’s not a nice shower experience at all. The bathroom had a smell that was quite unpleasant. The hotel just needs some updates.

We had to be moved during our stay because our toilet would not flush. Once moved we then had no refrigerator in our room and the view was terrible

Great location for access to everything.

Rooms are really tired and need a refurb. Our room hadn’t been cleaned properly, carpet was stained and had grass and other stuff from people’s shoes. A real shame as it clearly was a lovely hotel. Spending too much on Art and not enough on rooms.

This hotel stay was one of the best stays I have ever had. The art gallery was amazing. The food in the restaurant was amazing. We also did a massage in the spa, and wow, their fingers are magic. This stay exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The most comfortable bed I have slept in a hotel. Will definitely be coming back!!

A lot of! It seems to me every time I book with Booking.com we get put in the most crappy room I mean, I don’t know what the relationship is between hotels andbooking.com but I just feel like the customer is definitely getting the short end of the stick

The location was nice within walking distance to the Taft theater

Was accused and charged for a broken painting that we did not brake. I was a picture on the wall I guess there was debris behind the chair the was under picture. We didn’t move the chair as we were only in the room for 15 minutes when we arrived and then when we got back we looked at the art then went to sleep.

Coffee mug had red lipstick on it (not clean) room wasn’t cleaned between the two nights, the window gave on a wall. The desk staff was polite but not particularly friendly or avenant.

This property was in an excellent location for why we were in Cincinnati.

The smell in the elevator, hallways and downstairs was putrid. Made us feel sick Once we made it to our room we were fine. The rooms are outdated with bad pillows

I love the tiles! The service was great. Brad for the win! We had no heat and the phone wouldn’t call the front desk, but he was amazing!

No heat in one of rooms! We slept in our coats. Just glad it wasn’t the room my 85 year old mom was in.

Room did not have body wash in the shower. It was completely empty. I doordashed food and they never called to tell me it was there.

The art through out the hotel was a very nice addition to our stay. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful It's also enjoyable to see where the penguin is hiding each day.

The location was right across from the theater, where I wanted to see Hamilton. The hotel has a very nice fitness center, and the spa was excellent.

The fitness center is great. A good amount of equipment. The first floor restaurant is very good. The modern art theme is very fun and interesting.

The bedside clock didnt work. (I think the outlet was out?). There was an in-room espresso machine. (Which was great!). But they didnt refill the pods after the first night.

Not good for families with kids, alot of inappropriate nude arts and magazines. Very creepy arts in the bathroom with body parts, room not cleans and fridge very dirty as if it has not been used in a year. Very very uncomfortable. The area looks dangerous, alot of dangerous looking people walking around the hotel and heard a gunshot nearby. Don't stay here, not good about the hotel and the location

Super cool boutique hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Sadly my fridge didnt work so that was a bummer since i bought things that needed refrigeration. Water pressure was very low, but it is an older building. Overall, loved my stay.

It was ok. For almost $400 for the night it was ok. It was clean and pretty quiet. It seems to be lacking something, The location is good but the idea of artwork could be so much more. Maybe even have sections to highlight high school students? They didn’t give any information at check in- about anything, WiFi password, where to find the art gallery, times of operation for the restaurant, you can’t use the rooftop bar unless you’re part of a private party. And for the high price there is no breakfast included. It was ok, but we probably will not go back.

I stayed in a 21C in Louisville and found this location to be equally as delightful and playful. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was perfect. Will stay again.

I live in Cincinnati and my besties from out of town came in for a night. I booked 21C, last time I was there several years ago it was so awesome. I was kind of embarrassed, the room was really run down, tub wouldn’t drain, same tray of food outside our neighbors door for two days. Beds were old and not comfortable. And the light switches and everything looked dirty.

This hotel used to be so nice and now it's becoming a dressed up motel 6 that happens to have an amazing gallery and restaurant. Why!? This was my favorite place to stay and send my friends.. Now the beds are hard, carpet dingy, room amenities are scant, light switches are filthy.. It's like they're giving up!

We were looking for a place to stay within walking distance of Great American Ballpark and this hotel came up. It was an easy few block walk to the ballpark. While there are a couple of interesting food/drink options right by the hotel we passed on those to explore our hotel. A good nightcap from the bar that we could take with us as we explored. The first two floors are an art gallery that was small (it was undergoing some display changes) but interesting. We took our time leisurely strolling in a completely relaxed atmosphere. The hotel itself started with a very friendly and courteous check-in (all of the staff was so pleasant throughout our stay). The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The shower was extremely powerful (seriously it might strip paint) but I'd rather have that than the weak streams we've encountered before. Checkout was simple. Note that parking is either on your own (we parked in an underground lot behind the hotel for about 2/3 of valet) or valet. Also I will say that this feels like a very upscale place (fancy food, chocolate on the pillow, bourbon tasting, etc) but it was also down-to-earth in that there were several others staying there for the baseball game and everyone was pleasant. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!! We definitely will again

The museum hotel was an amazing experience, in a great location, and beautiful!

The quality of friendliness when I arrived w/Valet Service was strained @ best. Their customer assistance attitude lacked. After check-out I was told bill would be emailed. Never received final copy from hotel or Hotels.com. Ended up being on phone a good 1/2 hr, getting the run around from AI support which was no help & finally got a live person to assist. Chances of me staying there again are slim @ best! Personal customer service is being lost thru AI. & My time is as valuable as any hotel's time especially when paying high $ for an o/n stay. Not very happy w/my experience. Seems I paid almost $300 to get a quality run around‼️

The hotel is a bit lacking in amenities and comfort for the price. For a couple we were given exactly 2 bath towels each day, the room lacks easy countertops or storage, the minibar was broken and had water inside along the bottom, the conditioner bottle was empty (had not been refilled), and there was a strange smell in our room. But the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very large, and the location was good for our needs. The art was very good (I work in the visual arts) and definitely the nicest component of the hotel.

Was pretty disappointed in the lack of bathroom amenities. The bottle of hand soap was completely gone & so was the body wash. We checked in later after a Reds game, so it wasn’t convenient to call housekeeping to restock at 10 at night.
