Expensive parking garage no hot tub
Beautiful place conveniently located close to the Reds stadium.... great staff and great amenities!!!
Can't think of anything!!!
Location and cleanliness
We didn't stay long enough
Good location to riverfront
Location, service, clean.
Restaurant was not my favorite menu. Service in the restaurant was average at best.
Very comfortable beds. Nice staff at check-in. great location.
Clean and very secure felt safe

Very clean and good service
Not much to dislike
WHen checking in I had 5 rooms booked for family, they all had issues checking in. There was one lady that was just plain rude, was not going to do anything at all to help. Another lady of oriental race stepped in and got everything taken care of very easy. Do not know why the first lady had issues.
The hotel is dated. We have stayed here several times and it does not a new update.Carts have ran across walls. Rooms are the same as 10 years agao.

The hotel was beautiful
They didn't have parking. The elevators didn't work, we had to use the service elevator. They gave us someone else's room, so they walked in as we were unpacking. Most staff was friendly but the one that wasnt outshined the good. The hotel was musty.
Location great hotel is clean the fact they have a pool is a plus
Price is high
Location to the city centre and airport
One of the worst hotel stays I have ever had Oh boy, where do I even start? I hated almost everything about our stay at this hotel. First, look at the photo from our room. Our window was directly facing enormous rooftop HVAC/cooling units that seemed to be running 24/7. The constant mechanical noise was ridiculous. Imagine paying for a hotel room and then trying to sleep next to what sounds like industrial machinery all night. Unfortunately, the room itself wasn’t much better. It had a damp, musty, almost mouldy smell from the moment we entered. The minibar/fridge was completely empty, yet it made another constant annoying noise throughout the night. There weren’t even slippers provided. The kitchen amenities were poor and the whole room felt tired, unpleasant and nowhere near the standard I would expect from a Regency hotel. Then there was the reception experience, which was frankly terrible. When we checked in, the receptionist specifically told us that everything in the minibar was included with the room. Great, except there was literally NOTHING in the minibar. The final straw was our last night. We had an extremely early departure and called reception specifically to request a 3:15 AM wake-up call. They confirmed it. The call NEVER came. Thankfully we had our own alarms set, because otherwise relying on the hotel could have caused us to miss our flight. A wake-up call is one of the most basic hotel services imaginable. If you accept the request, you need to actually make the call. Between the industrial noise outside the window, the noisy empty fridge, the damp/musty room, poor amenities, misleading information at check-in and a completely missed wake-up call, this stay was an absolute disappointment. I would not stay here again and absolutely cannot recommend it.
Very convenient to what our plans were
Room was a bit dark, no hand soap in the bathroom, pillows were flat
The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The AC was very good.
A little expensive, especially parking.
Bien situé, propre, un bon sejour

I loved the entire atmosphere. The hotel bar was amazing the bartenders were awesome

Nice hotel, nice atmosphere, clean. Local TV only? such a nice hotel, and no Netflix or Youtube app on the TV? The staff were nice, but couldn't be bothered to help with anything other than what was expected. Like directions to nearby places. It was frustrating because the apple maps didn't work well in downtown with all the buildings interfering.
This hotel was directly across from the convention center. The accommodations were great for our large conference. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The only issue we had was the sink in the bathroom kept getting clogged. Maintenance came to address quickly and housekeeping was great at maintaining both the room and providing daily service. Everything else was in walking distance and the hotel is close to all things downtown.
We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati in connecting rooms 2231 and 2233, paying $715.82 for two rooms. Unfortunately, this was one of thee most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had. Neither room had hand soap upon arrival. The two-queen room was extremely humid and would not cool properly. But our biggest issue—and the reason I’m writing this review—is the King Corner Room. The air-conditioning vent is positioned at the foot of the bed and blows directly toward guests’ faces while they are trying to sleep. In July, our choices were essentially to turn the air conditioning off or cover our faces with a shirt or sheet. This 4-star hotel's bathroom was even more frustrating. It is so cramped that the toilet obstructs access to the sink, our legs were wedged between the toilet and counter, and the door could not be opened or closed comfortably without maneuvering around the toilet. The space is so limited that clean towels are stored on a shelf inside the shower. It genuinely felt more like an airplane lavatory than a full hotel bathroom. I urged any Hyatt manager or executive to spend one night in this room and use it as a paying guest before deciding whether it meets Hyatt’s standards. I guarantee they would be less than pleased with the experience. We raised many of these concerns with the front desk shortly after check-in, but there were no other connecting rooms available. Management ultimately provided a $100 adjustment. We later contacted Hyatt seeking a more meaningful resolution, but they declined to take any further steps. These were not minor inconveniences. They affected our sleep, comfort, and ability to use the room normally. I have never been more excited to check out of a hotel room. If you are considering a King Corner Room at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, I strongly recommend choosing another room type. I share, so readers/guests don't have to pay to experience this. Never again. Do better, Hyatt. -- Proud Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member

Almost everything was great. One suggestion, When you have a large group of people attempting to get out early in the morning, add extra help in the coffee shop so that the line will move faster to allow everyone to be on time with some food.
This room was booked for a guest and they were very satisfied with the staff, valet parking, and and kindness of staff.
Bill was not sent to me yet, but I will request it.
We only stayed one night, because it was part of a bigger trip. We needed to be close to the stadium and used miles. We all walked away saying it was one of our favorite hotel stays ever, and wished it could have been longer! The hotel staff at check-in, when called, and when checked out...all great!!!
This was a great hotel! Great location. You can easily walk to the Reds or Bengals stadiums. Fountain plaza right nearby. The rooms were clean and well appointed.
It's a very nice, convenient place to stay? Next to the Convention Center, which made it awesome for our convention.
The hotel provided great service. The staff was efficient, and my room was clean and comfortable. I would chose the Hyatt as my first choice when staying in Cincinnati.
Convenience!
Front desk was friendly and helpful. The young lady Chris was wonderful and helped with all the questions we had about sights to see in the city. Didm’t like not being told about the in-house service charge for dining at breakfast. That was a surprise when we got the bill.
Had a great time staying at the Hyatt. My room was very clean with extra towels. The staff cleaned my room everyday and provided extra bottles of water. Loved every bit of my stay.
Great staff and service. I will definitely stay there again.
Great room and great service! Among the best we have ever experienced!
Very modern
No Taxi around
Dennis and the the Hyatt staff were exceptionally and helpful during our stay for a weekend. The location of the hotel makes everything walkable too. The rooms were clean and fresh cleaning smell. The room price for a weekend keeps climbing every year but for where the hotel is located in close proximity to downtown makes it worth it. People were comfortable to enjoy themselves!
Clean and professional staff; amenities were good and as expected. They extended hours to host those who attended, which was appreciated.
Horrible billing experience. Prepaid room and still got a credit card hit after checking in. With no explanation. Placed a case about the issue and still no response.
We attended Cincinnati Fest for first time. The location was in walking distance to all festivals and restaurants. There’s even clubs and jazz bar around corner. Rooms were beautiful, clean and welcoming. George was the perfect bellman and Scott the bartender made all worries disappear.
Busy hotel in the heart of the city! Clean, but noisy
We had connecting king and queens rooms and the beds were comfortable. Thanks to Jamie for making sure our requests were granted and John David was exceptional and went above and beyond as our waiter during the breakfast Buffett.
The staff was kind, professional, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location. Public transportation nearby. I would recommend this location. Safe for solo travelers.
The newest, cleanest and in walking distance to a lot of eateries
That it was so uncomfortably cold in the building
Very nice hotel. The bed and room were so comfortable. Only stayed here one night so didn't use hotel amenities or eat at the restaurant, but the hotel was nice. They do not have a parking lot for the hotel. I had to park in the parking garage across the street and it cost me $33, so keep that in mind when thinking about price.
The staff was all very nice and professional. The room was ok, but for a deluxe king room to only have one chair to sit in was a little lacking in my opinion. There was plenty of empty space to put in another chair or a small sofa. It’s not very comfortable to hang out in your hotel room and the only choices you have are to lay on the bed or sit in one arm chair.
Room was very nice. Food from the restaurant was also good and quick service.
Perfect location, room was very clean ,staff was excellent
Quiet, very clean, good water pressure. Bed was comfortable; pillows were not. Towels were not great. Overall a very solid choice for a basic business trip.
Great location for the conference I was attending across the street at First Financial Center. Service was great. A little noisy during the day with the parking garage construction across the side street but that's not the fault of the hotel. Red Roost, the restaurant attached to the lobby had great food and ice cold beer. Very satisfying. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cincinnati OH Hyatt very nice and clean
Smallest hotel room i ever stayed in... bathroom door decided if to could sit on the toilet or brush your teeth. Couldn't get the AC below 77-78 degrees for the first 24 hours.... Front desk answer... We're all hot. Maintenance never returned my service call... Also kitchen's food buffet was super underwhelming with bacon cooked just slightly above raw.
We've stayed at Hyatt Regency Cincinnati twice and were satisfied both times.
Great location in downtown Cincinnati near all sporting facilities and fine restaurants. Perfect for a business professional. Families may want to think twice as the pool is indoors and nothing special.
I reserved a room through Hyatt that was supposed to have two double beds and a pullout sofa when I got there very late at night (aftermidnight) Christy at the front desk, said that they do not even have that type of room at that hotel. In order to get a room with-two double beds and a pullout sofa we would have had to stay at Hyatt Place. I looked at her and said, but yet our reservation was for the Hyatt Regency. She said yes I told her well. I guess I will have to pay for a second room. She agreed, then promised her employee discount. The next morning, when I went to check out, she had not applied her employee discount. The woman at the desk called the manager. She came in and gave us the employee discount.. other than having to buy the second room with the employee discount. Everything was good. One other thing when we arrived, people were smoking in the lobby as they got off the elevator on our floor. I noticed it reeked of smoke as it did the room. Thank you
This property did not seem up to Hyatt standards. It was a relative bargain on points, but we experienced some issues during our stay. I’ll start with the pros: --Check in was pleasant, front desk recognized my Globalist status, and provided a room upgrade to high floor and accommodated request for 2 queens vs the 1 king that was booked using points. That was much appreciated. --Daily Globalist breakfast at Red Roost Tavern was very good. The food was well seasoned and well prepared, they accommodated special requests with no problem, and service was great. Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros: --Housekeeping took very long to deliver requested items, with multiple calls/reminders needed --Room did not appear clean, cheese snack lodged in seat of chair --Towels were in poor condition— thin, with threads unraveling from the edges. They looked like rags. --Shower pressure (on 22nd floor) was terrible --Thermostat was faulty and inconsistent. It was difficult to regulate temperature in the room --No hair dryer in room, called and waited a long time for delivery. New hair dryer did not work. By the time I realized this, it was very late and I wanted to go to bed. Called front desk to report the issues. Was told a manager would reach out next morning. Manager never reached out. There were other issues, basically service was not up to par. I am not sure whether this was a one-off experience or the norm for this property. This stay, while not glaringly bad, was disappointing on many levels.
Great location, room was comfortable and amenities were great. The people were great, except the bartender.
Nice room - great view!!
We had an event at the convention center, and it was across the street, so it was very convenient.
I will say the valet and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. But the desk staff were not helpful, did not give me any information about the hotel and seemed annoyed when I asked simple questions. For $450 a night my room was tiny, paint was peeling from the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower head was detached from the wall. Stains on the bedding. Stains on the shower curtain. The queen bed is more like a full, and the mattress definitely had a low spot right in the middle, which made it difficult for two people to sleep on.
We traveled from a nearby city and found the location to be outstanding. We arrived and were greeted by the valet promptly. The staff at the front desk were all very knowledgeable and had us up to our clean room in minutes. The hotel was very clean. The gym had a lot of equipment and accommodated many of us workout freaks. The local is exceptional. We were able to walk to bars, restaurants, stadiums, venues, fountain square, streetcar, and Kentucky in minutes. There was a massive youth sporting event going on during our stay, however, the hotel managed the influx with professionalism. No loud noise in the hallways and the housekeeping remained intact. The breakfast and grab-n-go areas could use a couple of more experienced staff, but I have no major complaints. Nobody is perfect. Can't go wrong with the hotel. We highly recommend.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Nice rooms, good food, and a nice atmosphere. Located close to the Great American Ball Park.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. That being said, the hostess at breakfast on Sunday morning was a bit matter of fact. The cost was $37.00, including a mandatory 18% gratuity for one person. I always tip, but an automatic 18% feels too high. I was given a thermos of coffee and a water, and they removed one plate. The food was okay, not great, so I won’t be doing the weekend buffet again.
The hotel staff was great. Property was clean and good was great as well.
Had a great time at the Reds game celebrating 250 years of the greatest country on earth. Great stay at the Hyatt hotel. Praise JESUS.
The Hyatt Cincinnati was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to Cincinnati. The location is excellent and the hotel itself was wonderful.
Closeness to facilities/events.
Bathtub was backed up. Couldn't take a shower without it turning into a bath. Sink had orange residue in it.
It was a very affordable hotel and no complaints for quality for the price. There is a restaurant and market in the hotel lobby. I've had drinks before at the restaurant... very nice place. Very close to the square. Nice spot to get out and walk and explore. Not extremely close to the stadiums, but it is walkable. No issues with the hotel room. Very nice, comfortable and clean. I travel a lot and I would definitely repeat. Actually I plan to stay downtown more for the weekend baseball games (season tickets). Great option for a Saturday Night/Sunday Game.
From the staff to the room everything was wonderful
Service was great. Houskeeping did a fantastic job servicing my room. Located walking distance to so many great attractions.

Location, staff and convenience
I saw a lot of mixed reviews so here’s my two cents. Went for 4th of July weekend because our son is autistic and doesn’t like the loud bangs. We requested a high floor and nothing else. The room was very clean, cool, and had everything we needed. The staff was great and attentive if we needed anything. We are pretty low maintenance so we didn’t really need anything but every time I talked to the staff they were inviting and didn’t seem irritated at all. It’s an older hotel that’s been updated a bit so don’t expect a 5 star experience but expect a clean room and a friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
appreciate the flexibility for family accommodations. the hotel was nice.
Super clean hotel with friendly staff.
Even if you prepay, they still charge a fee at the front desk that is not specified in any of the confirmation or ‘online check in’ emails. Was even lied to by a chat representative. Room was mostly clean. Paid for a “top five floors” room and got a nice view of the apartments beside the hotel.
Have been staying here at least once a year since 2020 and everytime they exceed my expectations.Staff are welcoming and do their best to make us comfortable. As a globalist-i always got upgraded to a suit and recived great recogntion.
Awesome place to stay. The accommodations were great and the location is perfect. Everything I wanted to do was within walking distance and there are great food options and really nice public places to recreate.
This is a Great hotel in a good location. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of choices and the service was impeccable.
From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond. Our two rooms weren’t initially connected, but guest services quickly resolved the issue and got us adjoining rooms with no hassle. The biggest surprise came after we got settled in—the hotel welcomed our family with two gift bags filled with granola bars, bottled water, candy, and local treats. After spending more than 12 hours in the car, it was exactly what we needed and such a thoughtful touch. Small gestures like that make a big difference. We’d gladly stay here again!
Everything went well. Fitness center was good. Food and beverage options were good.
I liked the hotel and the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed with the pool, which I thought I could swim laps in, but it turned out to be a tiny wading pool. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room. I've come to expect that in all 3-5 star properties.
Very clean.
Nice clean Hyatt, within walking distance to the ballpark and nearby attractions. Comfortable beds and accommodations. Their marketplace is open 24/7 which is perfect if you’re coming back late with kids. The surrounding restaurants that are open late are geared toward the 21 and older crowd. We were able to get a hamburger and a chicken sandwich They had a good list of hot food and ready made meals to go.
We were in town for a Savannah Bananas game, so I chose this hotel based on location and reviews. Check in was smooth and we were able to check in a little early with no trouble. Used valet parking, which I recommend. I think it was about $50/day. Lobby is clean and hotel smells nice. There was a line for the elevators after our game, but I think there are six elevators, so it went fast. Our room was super clean. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch in the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and a good choice if you’re looking for a nice weekend brunch. We are typically partial to Hilton brand hotels, but we were so impressed and happy with our stay, we won’t hesitate to book a Hyatt again. A great choice for downtown Cincinnati!
Hyatt on 5th street in Cincinnati. Great place in a perfect location, close to ballpark, stadium, bookstores, bakeries, etc. Loved my stay.
Very nice hotel! The location is close to restaurants, art and theatre venues, sporting events, and much more. Staff is professional and friendly. Love the bar/restaurant and the 24 hr market is a real bonus! Rooms are clean and well-appointed. Views are nice. Love the Elm Street Park only steps away. Highly recommend.
Room was pretty big and comfortable. The a/c had the room ice cold that’s how I like to sleep. Very clean and quiet at night. Location was perfect right in the middle of downtown which was a plus.
The location of this hotel is excellent, offering easy access to the River front, and the Over The Rhine and Fountain districts. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small in my room, and I would have liked a little more storage for clothing, as I was in this space for nearly two weeks for business. Overall, however, this was a lovely room with a very good view of the city.
Great location, within walking distance to fountain square. Beautiful nearby park. Easy check in and out. Clean rooms.
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful at all hours. Being right across the street from the convention center was a bonus!
Amazing amenities and attention to room details! We had everything we needed!
The room was my haven after a long day of scoring essays with the AP Lit and Comp Reading. I appreciated the excellent work of the Housekeeping staff. Thank you to them for always refreshing / replacing towels and providing needed amenities like cotton squares and lotion. I loved the convenience and the proximity to the convention center. Thank you, too, for daily treats in the lobby. I frequented the bar/ restaurant and always enjoyed the special drinks and the good service.
Easy access, good parking, great food
The room was spacious and clean. Water was hot and abundant. Every afternoon the hotel gave away snacks: lemonade, ice cream and cupcakes. Totally enjoyed our stay.
Great location to areas we wanted to visit, short airport journey aswell
