Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The location was great, and I loved the beautiful stairway. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Stains on the carpet in the room, the toilet was very low, the curtains were damaged and light was coming through easily, bed was okay, very thin walls and we could hear the people on either side of us easily. We were disappointed especially for the price we paid for the night.
This property is the worst hotel I have ever been visited.
Worst customer service ever!! and the on site receptionist provided horrible service, false statement, irritated, disrespectful, completely unprofessional. When we were disappointed with the room and showed them the discrepancy between the facilities listed on booking.com site and what’s provided in the room. The receptionist blamed booking.com and mentioned they don’t even work with the third party (like booking). When questioned so their hotel was listed without their permission, he (naively) insisted yes. In short, what you see on booking. Is not what you will find out. Not as claimed!! Not as described
Location
We booked for a no smoking room and was given a room full with smoke smell and dirty forgotten used towels on the washroom floor. It was a terrible night after we were welcomed with this.
Everything
Nothing
Location was good, close to restaurants, Tim's, Walmart and mall. Bed was comfy.
No elevator but I guess because it's only 2 floors.
The staff was amazing
Nice indoor heated pool nice restaurant and bar staff was amazing
comfy bed, nice tv, blackout drapes, mini fridge
small bathroom, furniture old, stairs to second floor.
The front dessk people were very nice and accomodating. I told them that I had a phyiscal disability person with me and couldn't climb stairs. They changed rooms for me to ensure the person didn't have to climb stairs.
Lots of parking.
Room had a off smell. Im not sure whats going on in the hotel. I was extremely confused getting to my room. It seemed like it was being mainly used as a residential. All of the doors had names written on the doors. It was extremely bizarre. A heads up would have cleared it up before hand. I didnt try the breakfast as when we walked up I couldnt find anyone nor smell any food . We stay at Ramada in other provinces and the free breakfast is the selling point. Unfortunately I wish I had more good things to say. For the price I would not stay here again unless breakfast was included.
The pool was large and very accessible.
No elevator but there was not too many stairs.
Price
The pool
Microwave started sparking when it wasn't being used. I was told to unplug it and put it in the hall! Really, do it yourself. It is not my fault
Very Dated
Close to highway
The microwave fried and almost started a fire. I was told to unplug it and put it in the hall. I don't think so
Cleanliness
No complimentary water, fruits or drinks. Very far away from University campus.
Convenient off 401
Had to pay for breakfast if I wanted it $15. Only had regular coffee in the room, what about those of us that drink decaffeinated coffee
Deels gemoderniseerd, goed restaurant boor het ontbijt.
Rook iets muf.
bed was comfortable
too much perfume in cleaners, lingers, it is a sign the building is old, hiding the dirt.
Went on bus trip and this was pick up drop off location
No elevator , we had heavy luggage, thankfully the front desk did take up our luggage for us
The bathroom was very clean.
The hotel overall looks old. It needs renovation.
Cheap. Swimming pool was a decent size!
There was a picket line at the entrance on our first arrival and we were challenged on entering and leaving repeatedly that day. being foreign we had no idea why and it was intimidating and irritating having a random person jump in front of the car and demand we explain who we were! Rooms were a good size but unable to provide adjoining room which was frustrating and meant adults had to split to be in each room with kids. No lift and long corridors so lugging international suitcases was a challenge but they did offer assistance. Breakfast was disappointing and finished too early so we were rushed, tea and coffee not good! only went the once.
Clean and comfy
Air freshener used is tooooo strong
Nice rooms and parking
It's generally old
Not much.
The ice machine was broken, the front desk staff were surly and unhelpful, the cost of the room was WAY overpriced for what I got. I booked the Ramada because of the "brand name" reputation. What a disappointment. I would never recomend ti to anyone I know. Terrible experience.
Big rooms
There were elders people in the main floor are in long term care. In my opinion, the guests should be on first floor only.
Horrible experience. Dirty hotel, cracked out people hanging around. Our family was put on a wing where about 20 rooms were being used for geriatric care. Open doors, nurses in and out. We booked for 2 nights, paid $230 per night. Tried to cancel but General Manager Phil told us we couldn’t. Desk worker told us that Phil was in a meeting and unable to talk to us, but he was really just at a baseball game. He refused to talk to me, just sent me a rude email. Dirty hotel. AVOID
Excellent
Had a CAA member but couldn’t take advantage of this because booked through third party. Should have been able to do this at the desk upon check in.
Swimming pool for kids
Incredibly helpful and kind staff. Very comfortable and spacious room. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the pool is excellent too. Within a short walking distance to stores and restaurants.
The pool
The restaurant wasn't open
The location was convenient
Maybe offering free breakfast
They wouldn't let me rent the room
RUDE front desk
Price
Bed was not comfortable We asked for a queen got a double
The location and the pool
Being told off by an egotistical man! We were there for vacation after we fled domestic abuse! And the ants in my bathroom! The food for the buffet was not very good either
Nothing. Absolutely awful hotel, disgusting, dirty, .
There was no phone in the room. The court was missing front desk said they couldn't do anything. There was brown stains all over pillow cases. There was no toilet paper in the hotel room and because I didn't have a phone I had to go find a cleaning staff to get toilet paper because when I called the room from my cell phone, no one would answer while my kids were in the pool. Water from the ceiling was dripping on their head. There was hair in the tub. The toilet seat was filthy dirty. The lamp in the room was leaning and broken. The room was disgusting.Had it not been that we didn't have an opportunity to look for another place.Because we were there for a tournament. It was awful, and then I tell the staff and I asked for a cot in the room, and they wanted to charge me ten dollars, which was absurd.
Easy access off of highway. Staff were professional and helpful. Several doors allowed parking closer to room as it is a large facility. Restaurant prepared a delicious breakfast at a reasonable cost and it was a large portion.
Other guests were very loud - hockey kids running hallways, yelling and slamming doors till after midnight. Couldn’t fall asleep with all the noise. The bathroom wasn’t updated. Shower head was basic. Not enough towels provided and only one bar of dove soap provided. Front desk staff provided other items needed at no charge when asked.
All was great!! No complaints! Woukd stay again!! 😁👍
Comfortable blankets!!
Breakfast not included
Having a nice pool
Not well maintained, curtains in our room got some cuts, all appliances are too old, mattress are not comfortable & there is no elevator for the second floor.
everything about my stay is second to none don't change nothing
I fixed the toilet chain got stuck
Breakfast was awesome
Nothing it was all good
***Warning*** check for double payment on your cards, worst part is even when confronted they refused to correct it!!! Worst hotel experience ever!!! They double charged me for a disgusting room that wasn't worth $50 on its best days.

Our stay provided what we required.
The food at the restaurant/bar for dinner left some to be desired, so we didn't attend breakfast in house. The rooms were very cold and the bed spread was very light...would have been great in the summer. The heater/furnace was loud...made clicking sounds all night. The little fridges supplied, the door rubbed along the carpet...not that big a deal, just annoying.
There was human faeces down at poolside, pool water was merky.
Nothing
Old, ripped furniture. Old, scratched bathtub.
Great location and the bed was amazing
For the money...all was good. The parking lot took a while to be cleared! It was a snowy day....but still. Tough on a small car. The room was tired...ie: carpet torn and draperies looked to be falling off the track. Needs a good re vampire in decor. ..but again....for the money....it was good value! 👍🙂
If anything...again the room decor/ condition.
