Location, staffs are friendly and approachable.

I was in a wheelchair, mostly accessible but some room for improvement. For example the cocktail bar only accessible up stairs, other areas required circular routes to access. Getting in lifts at busy times very difficult no priority. Had to give up on breakfast in the kitchen restaurant as I could not get around. I think perhaps the hotel could ask a member of staff to move around in a chair for a day or two. There were quite a few smaller problems (irritating if you are in a chair) however staff always tried to help.

As a disabled person my room was very good, except opening and closing the door was difficult at best, really struggled.

The hairdryer was pretty bad, not what you expect in a 5 star resort. And not being able to leave your kids U4 at the kids club.

Staff go above and beyond to help, facilities are excellent.

Walk to the mrt is further than you think - not a huge issue but be aware if you have small kids.

Everything was superb! Staff couldn’t do more for you. The room was perfect for us in size. It was incredibly clean and all facilities were 10/10!

Long queue for breakfast at peak times but they had opened an additional breakfast restaurant. When we checked in at 3pm, our room wasn’t ready which was frustrating but they gave us some compensation

I liked the pool area and the gorgeous greenery around the property. My son loved the splash pad!

My room was quite old and I had to ask the maintenance to fix three separate issues throughout my stay. The queue for breakfast was also far too long.

Value for money the best in Singapore. Rajah , Sammy and the crew were wonderful.

The breakfast was disappointing. Western food below average. Stale bread, runny yoghurts in giant pots, poor selection of fruit, not filled quick enough so a lot of empty plates/pots. No decent pancakes pastries or waffles.

The Room size was simply fantastic. But not just the size; the very well-designed layout allowed easy movement and storage around the room. I was in the Tower Wing where the rooms are more modern but NOT the stark simplicity/bareness that categorises some newer hotels that are as expensive. Furnished to an excellent standard. Things like the glass fronted wardrobes stand out. The substantial desk in the window alcove was also fantastic spot to work from.

Not that they could/can really do anything about it - but there were rather a lot of kids around the pool - almost all the time. Now I realise that comes with it being a family hotel - but nonetheless, given the hotel's fantastic location away from the centre - a calmer more chilled pool area, would have made it perfect.... perhaps an adult only pool somewhere down the bottom of the gardens? There's space : ) !

Breakfast buffet options were more limited than expected for such a large property.

Room 823 Tower Wing. Very quiet, conveniently located away from elevators and footfall. Perfect size and layout for a couple and two children (12 and 10). Separate beds for children always a bonus. Room service 10/10. Aircon and bedding perfect. Adult reading lights and bedside tables very helpful when staying in family room.

Nothing. If one were pushed to say … The Line restaurant could be more ambient and less chaotic, in keeping with the high quality atmosphere of the hotel. Buffet food is high quality, but experience is quite stressful with long queues. Horizon Club much better option but can only be accessed with children at weekends. Would be nice to have an area for breakfast were families with children can relax and don’t have to wait for large groups and delegations of business people and conference attendees.

It was a bit of a stretch for the kids to walk to the centre and back and their shuttle bus only started at 11am and every hour.

Everything is just perfect and yet staff is super friendly. This is why I always want to come back here.

The room were perfect, the kids loved it as it was a theme room. The kids activities as well at the pool and splash area are amazing, the kids spent a lot of time there. Wide variety of options available for breakfast. Overall great experience.

Stayed in the Garden Wing at additional expense and this part of the hotel is in serious need of refurbishing. Smart TV couldn’t stream shows or connect to our devices through Wifi . Needed an HDMI connector to our devices, which wasn’t available when we asked. Had to queue for breakfast most mornings and was extremely busy. Maybe they should have other venue options for breakfast. Bed was also a little firm and overall not what we expected from a 5 star hotel with great reviews.

We stayed at Shangri-La Singapore from 31st July to 3rd August, and it was easily one of the best hotel experiences of our Singapore trip. What made the stay special was that Shangri-La felt like more than just a place to stay. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for the whole family. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable king-size bed, a large bathroom, coffee maker, kettle, iron, and all the essential amenities for a smooth stay. It had a cozy, relaxing vibe that truly felt like our own little home away from home. Our kids especially loved Splash, the water-play area, and we enjoyed watching them have fun just as much. The beautiful birds around the property were another highlight — something both the kids and we appreciated. It gave the hotel a peaceful, nature-filled charm. A particularly touching moment was during our son’s birthday month. Since we were travelling and couldn’t arrange a cake ourselves, the hotel surprised us with one to make his day extra special. It was a thoughtful gesture we’ll always remember. ❤️ The staff also deserve a special mention. Everyone we met was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making our stay even more comfortable and memorable. What stood out most was the atmosphere — cozy, peaceful, family-friendly, and luxurious all at once. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like a shared family experience filled with memories. For families travelling with kids, I would definitely recommend Shangri-La Singapore. ❤️ A beautiful stay, thoughtful hospitality, wonderful family experiences, and memories we’ll truly cherish. One of our favourite hotels in Singapore!

Thank you for an incredible stay in the Valley Wing. Staff were amazing and caring our children were always treated with the same respect as us and the options for the children were fantastic the splash buds and the beautitul kept grounds our youngest kept disappearing to the koi ponds and the turtles she loved it. Restaurant the line was busy at times the dedicated kids little restaurant was fantastic. High tea and canapés were presented each day with such great standard and allowing a gluten free option for our eldest nothing wasn't much to ask. Rooms we had interconnected and wow so big and rooms cleaned daily and turn down service. Restaurant we ate at a few and pool service very nice. Staff from the check-in to the day we left superb I would love to mention all the staff you were exceptional. Anyone looking for a great place this is it. Thank you.

The hotel was very vibrant and welcoming. The kids got a welcome kit which was a nice touch upon arrival since I was traveling with my family. The hotel offered food tours and other activities which is useful if you are a tourist looking to explore. The pool was well maintained and operated from very early hours till post sundown which we enjoyed. The restaurant selection was good and the food was good.

The kids play area should be a complimentary amenity offered by the hotel like most hotels rather it's paid here which was a bit odd for me.

酒店去乌节路的shuttle bus一小时一趟，满了就自己走着去，还告诉你你会出汗。给的解决方案很搞笑让步行到达，我等了20分钟来了车满了没座位了。还有酒店valley wing 的早餐餐厅永远排队。永远排队。酒店失物招领就是如同虚设，孩子的游泳圈落在了Splash，打电话给宾客中心给找，说没找到。我自己第二天去Splash直接看到在前台自己拿回来的。然后就是打电话给酒店中文服务。根本没有，您就不需要设定这个了。既然没法实现。第二次入住，酒店前台的马来女态度很差。失望

We had an overall lovely stay at the Shangri-La Singapore. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly, and we really enjoyed our time there. A particular highlight was the family facilities. Both the Splash Zone and the main pool always had attentive lifeguards on duty, which made us feel very comfortable and safe, especially with children. However, we were quite disappointed with the lack of information provided at check-in. We weren’t given any overview of the hotel facilities or what was included with our stay. For example, we only discovered from another guest that access to the Splash Zone was included. By the time we found out, we’d already missed the opportunity to use it on our first day. As access was based on the number of nights stayed, this also meant we couldn’t use it on our check-out day without paying extra. We also weren’t told basic information such as breakfast times or where to find details about the hotel’s facilities. In addition, we assumed the indoor soft play area was included, but later found out it wasn’t. A simple overview at check-in explaining the facilities, opening times, and what is and isn’t included would have made a big difference to our experience. Despite this, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel. With a more informative check-in process, the guest experience would be even better.

We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Santosa and found it to be an excellent choice for families. The hotel has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, with plenty of facilities and activities that kept everyone entertained. The rooms are a little dated compared to some newer hotels, but they were clean, spacious, and mostly very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. What really stood out was the service. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which made us feel well looked after throughout our visit. Overall, if you're looking for a family-friendly resort with great amenities, pleasant service, and a comfortable stay, Shangri-La Santosa is a fantastic option. We'd happily return.
