Pool and Gym were great.

Despite Checkin time being 3pm our rooms were only ready at 5.30pm. We arrived approx 16.30pm and were left waiting for 1hour at reception without further exlanation or appologies. 30 minutes into the wait only after asking if there was a bar we could wait instead of the lobby we were offered some basic drinks.

Comfortable bed. Dedicated tap with drinkable water. Nice swimming pool which is not crowded

The electric plugs in my room did not work at all. Not beside my bed not near the bathroom. I could not charge my phone. A really bad aspect.

Kaldığımız oda Singapur'daki diğer otel odalarından kesinlikle daha büyüktü. Otel odasının küçük olduğunu bildiğimiz için sorun olmadı. Bu yüzden puan kırmak anlamsız. 45 dakikada bir metro durağına ücretsiz shuttle servisi olayı güzel. Otelin altında ufak bir 7/11 mevcut. Banyoda arıtma suyu mevcut. Suya ekstra para vermenize gerek yok.

Check-in saati 15.00 olmasına rağmen odaya girmek için 2 saat bekletildik. Bu durumu telafi etmek için bize otel barında kullanabileceğimiz içecek kartı verdiler.

Location. convenient for Public Transportation and Orchard Road Shopping. Enjoyed the selection at breakfast. Beds were quite comfortable.

A small thing (heh), but the rooms were small, so not a lot of room to store luggage and spread out. I believe this is "normal" in Singapore. and as we did not spend much time in the room, it really wasn't a big issue.

The hotel shutte bus go to orchard rd is free.also there is a small cafe in the lobby selling breakfast all singapore style, good price also.

* We asked for the hair dryer to be fixed but it wasn’t done. * It was warm in the room when we arrived and it’s not letting us changed the temperature that was set at 25C. But they fixed it when I asked them to check it. * We requested for weighing scale and was advised that they will bring it to our room but it never came. * We were told that as a platinum member, we have a free in room breakfast but when we order, we were advised that we have to pay extra. * The hair conditioner definitely needs a refill.

Hotel locations little off main streets but equipped with many restaurants and a seven eleven. Hotel provides shuttle bus to main streets Orchard Road. Because it’s co-located with Novotel, Novotel food and beverage are available to Mercure guests too. General staffs service attitudes varies from good to average. Have lost a watch and expensive creams in room before when room is being cleaned. Front desk staffs, notably Gopi and Amanda deserves lots of admirations but generally all front desk staffs are efficient and patience. Nicest swimming pools amongst most Mercure and Novotel hotels in Singapore.

Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️star experience! The stay was wonderful. Special thanks to Cai Ting for her great service❤️❤️❤️The staff are friendly, attentive and quick to respond. They patiently assisted me with all my requests. The room is tidy and quiet. Great service overall. 👍 I will choose this hotel again on my next trip ✈️and highly recommend it!

The location was close to the train station, I loved the pool & anytime fitness gym

I didn’t like sleeping on the 8th floor and the hallways needed painting & a refresh, otherwise good.

We spend more than 3 weeks in the hotel and would like to thank the whole team for the welcoming service. We would like to thank the whole team of the Food Exchange. They were so lovely with us and ower kids. Marcus, May, Saiyd and the whole rest who served helped greatly and were always friendly. A special thank to Nainta, who was always there, being exceptionally helpful with our kids, helping to prepare pancake and ordering extra food. Really, top team at food exchange. Also thanks to Tomas, who keept the pool area and the play room neat and clean. Great job and always with a smile. The people at the front desk where always helpful. Special thanks to consierge service whos team at car reception and organizing the luggage is so friendly and helpful. All great people. The room service around Singh Mahabir kept clean and was a support when ever asking for an extra service.

We had a very bad start to our stay which we have complained to Mercury about and this has been resolved . We had no room when we arrived at 7.30 pm and were then downgraded to a shabby room with no club access which is what we had paid for 11 months earlier . We were then upgraded to a bigger room which we appreciated but we could have done without two hours of chaos after a very long flight . There are positives and negatives about the Mercury and on reflection we would choose the Novotel ( adjoined) next time . The Novotel only has 200 rooms as opposed to 500 at Mercury. The breakfast at Mercury is chaotic…and you always have to queue for 10 minutes which is not what we are used to. On one occasion we marched with 10 others back in the lift to the Novotel breakfast which was calm organised with so much more choice and better quality. The food manager Mohammed is experienced and friendly but he is trying to manage a breakfast area in Mercury that is way too small. The quality of food is not great and the drinks are watered down cordials. Being able to use the two pools is good and the infinity pool is lovely with loungers in the water. We had good service by lovely kind Shah who is the concierge at Mercury…..he’s helpful and has a genuine interest in guests having a positive experience. We also enjoyed a couple of evenings in the Privilege lounge which is in Novotel, not sure why there is only one lounge for two big hotels . There is spirits , beer and wine from 5 .30 till 7 daily and nice hot canapés, salads, cheese board, crackers etc. During the day if you pop in there is good coffee, a selection of good teas and delicious home baked biscuits. The team in Privilege room looked after us very well . They were consistently professional, courteous, helpful and we liked chatting with the, They deserve a mention here…….Praba , Jessica and Emily ! The Italian restaurant is quite nice and not expensive. We used the shuttle several times to Orchard road. Overall it’s a very busy place full of tour groups everywhere and we will choose Novotel next time , it’s quieter, more well organised , better furnished and breakfast is MUCH better.

Considering the current horrible value for money ratio in Singapore, I found this basic hotel an excellent solution for my needs. Definitely better than some other, far more expensive hotels Amenities in the room, tap with filtered water, complimentary drinks. Excellent bed and clean bathroom. Not to mention that location is very ok Even staff was kind and relatively responsive.

I checked in my parents May 14 checked out May 18 2026. Front office double charged me! Ive been contacting the Hotels customer service and emailing them including Duty Manager. No one is reaching out!!

Good location with pool. Quiet.

Check in….after travelling for 16 hours and having “checked in” already - which itself is overly onerous - we were then asked AGAIN to check in on arrival, when all you want is to go to your room and rest. I would prefer not to deal with reception and just collect my key.

I was one of a tour guide group managing a group of about 280 pax here for a big conference. The security staff Raj and porter Ridzuan were of such great help to us by managing crowd control, coaches parking at a safe location and other amenities. It helped make our job easier. Thanks guys.

Wonderful Stay at Mercure Singapore On Stevens Stayed with my family at Mercure Singapore On Stevens from 15–17 June 2026 and had a truly memorable experience. We arrived very late at night, around 12:22 AM Singapore time, feeling exhausted after our journey. However, the warm welcome from the hotel team immediately made us feel comfortable and valued. Our booking was for a Superior Room, and we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a Privilege Room with 1 Double Bed. The stay became even more special with complimentary breakfast, a welcome amenity, and a generous late check-out arrangement. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and perfect for our family stay. The hospitality shown by the team was exceptional from arrival until departure. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We truly appreciate the excellent service and look forward to returning on our next visit to Singapore. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

The room is on the smaller side but beautifully designed, lovely view and quiet. Comfortable bed and bedding, good shower pressure. Good air conditioning which is helpful in the tropical heat. Best part was the filtered tap water function in the bathroom for drinking water-thoughtful for guest and environmentally friendly.

The shuttle bus to the MRT starts after 10am, an earlier start time would be much appreciated

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Zhu He from the room service team. He was so kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room looked spotless, and his attention to detail was outstanding. If I could give more than five stars, I would! Thank you, Zhu He, for making my stay so special!

During my recent stay at Mercure Singapore on Stevens, I found that the hotel maintained its high standards from previous visits. Upon my arrival yesterday, I noted that the front desk staff displayed some delays in processing guest check-ins. However, after conversing with Mr. Mark today, he clarified that my arrival coincided with a peak check-in period. Mr. Mark continues to exemplify his usual cordiality and readiness to assist guests. Regarding breakfast, I observed that the breakfast manager exhibited a somewhat lacking approach to public relations. Nevertheless, the quality of the breakfast offerings in the restaurant continues to meet commendable standards. I would also like to acknowledge the exemplary service provided by the room attendant, Mr. Zhu He @ Michael. He demonstrated a high level of helpfulness, efficiency, and friendliness, successfully attending to my requests, and I sincerely appreciate his efforts.
