There was confusion between the booking.com system and the hotel system

Cooked breakfast (omelette and sausages) looked and tasted unappealing. The cold items were OK

Charge less! The cost was way in excess of the quality offered.

Location ok. The hotel is older but the rooms are partially renovated. Good beds!

The bedroom was a decent size! The breakfast was in a pleasant location overlooking the city and was decent.

The charge was raised over a $100 for a day that was in a holiday - like holiday Monday. I was not aware of this happening before arriving! Plus most hotels only charge a pet fee once. Not for every day as they did when you don’t even have housekeeping every day!🤷🏼‍♀️

Ich war vor zwei Jahren schon einmal hier, und damals hat es mir gut gefallen. Damals war das Frühstück nicht inbegriffen, aber im Restaurant konnte man ein gutes englisches Frühstück bekommen. Was jetzt in den meisten Hotels und Inns als "Continantal Breakfast" angeboten wird, ist schlicht lausig. Erinnert mich an den Film "Brust oder Keule", in dem Louis de Funès einen Gourmet spielt, der einem Lebensmittelhersteller auf die Schliche kommt, der übles Zeug produziert. Außerdem sieht man in allen Ecken und Enden Verfallserscheinungen, müsste mal gründlich renoviert werden. Meine Fensterscheibe hat seit Jahren voll keinen Fensterputzer mehr gesehen. Die langen Reinigungsintervalle sollen der "Privacy" dienen, aber ob das auch hygienisch ist? Mein Zimmer hätte auch funktionaler eingerichtet sein können. Trotz allem: Das Personal war sehr freundlich und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit

The hotel is old and run down The pictures on the website have been altered heavily. The hotel lobby is nothing like the picture. Its dark and small. Super sketchy neighbourhood, There were homeless people living in their vehicle in the hotels parking lot Thankful they had air conditioning in the rooms, but the units are so old and loud there was no sleeping with them going on and off all night

August 28 2026 Absolutely disgusting experience. Booked 2 rooms including one executive king room and two queen bed room. Had a terrible check-in experience at the Customer Service desk with the receptionist MRIDULA Who is simply not fit for this job. She Absolutely has no courtesy and empathy and has poor demeanor and appalling rude attitude I am a total stranger to the city coming form Washington . The front end had no parking spots available. I have a disability permit and could not park at the designated disability parking spot as someone else has parked the vehicle without a disability permit. I was told to park at the back . I asked her if there is access from the back . I struggled to locate the back entrance and was let in by a guest. Very shady place . Poor building and smelly The worst part is I could not get into my room as the door latch was broken. The room was smelling weird and was not kept tidy .I went back to the reception and another receptionist, Hussein, tried his best to resolve the issue, but it was already too late as I could not tolerate the horrible Customer Service experience from his colleague, and on top of that, the room 221 had a broken latch and was kept unclean. We were stranded at the hotel for nearly 50 minutes with my wife, my 3 little children and my dad and mom with disability This is a very old hotel with very poor Customer Service. This place should not be in business listed as 4 stars. I decided to cancel my reservation and sought a refund and booked at a nearby hotel and paid $150 extra. I wonder what Manager Joan Rannie is doing there . Mridula is unfit for this job . MRIDULA needs training in customer service otherwise she’s unfit for this position and can jeopardize the good will of the hotel . Husain who tried his best to deescalate the situation has my respect. Guests do not book here until things improve .

The location was good, and the diner in the hotel had good food.

The room was not worth what I paid. The floors in the room creaked every step I took, the room smelled like air freshner trying to cover up a musty odour. The walls were so thin I heard every person in the hallway, and the people above me stomping around their room and when their water was running. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower didn't have bodywash, but had lotion in the shower instead- and the dispensers by the sink had conditioner not lotion. The bathroom had mold on the wall and in the shower where it looked like something was previously mounted. I wasn't expecting much for the cost of the room and I only needed 1 night as I was passing through Kamloops, but I wished I had spent a little more to book somewhere else for a clean and quiet room.

We love the bedroom comfort. Like the air conditioning. Breafast was just fine and timing was a bit early. And hot tub was kind of ok. The views were urbanish.

We did not like the conjusted washroom. The sound proofing was also not good. TV channels were slow and not enough. We badly miss the slippers and water and soft drinks in the wet bar.

Room was spacious and clean. Good location.

Very basic breakfast, awful paper plates and cups. Everything was a bit dated and needed to be refreshed.

Severe cleanliness issues (primarily, stained linens) that were brought to the attention of the hotel staff multiple times over multiple days, but were not resolved. Checked-in to wrong room, so another guest was also given a keycard to our room and entered while we were unpacking - reception did not attempt to contact us to address the incident in the approx 45 min we were in our room and we had to speak with them ourselves. No hotel phone in our room. Strong, unpleasant smell - we had to purchase a candle and room spray to mask it. A lot of dead bugs in the AC unit vent and we found garbage between the bed and the wall. The property in general was in various states of disrepair - a far cry from the photos on Booking.com and on their website.

It was close to amenities. I didn’t really see too much of the hotel (ie. I think there is a pool?), there’s a restaurant within the building. Nice that there was complimentary breakfast every morning. — my mom loved that.

Elevator was in a weird position because you couldn’t find it right away vs the stairs. At first glance, I thought this wouldn’t be good for those with poor dexterity or impaired mobility.

Front desk staff were friendly, and one of the staff working in the restaurant was kind enough to lend us a couple of plates to use and sets of cutlery when our SkiptheDishes order didn’t arrive with any (we returned them when we’d finished with them.)

Aside from the good staff, our stay was meh. The rooms and hotel itself seem a bit old and worn and in need of some repairs. One of the beds duvets had some sort of stain on it (maybe makeup?) The bedroom TV only had cable, no ability to cast or stream any Netflix or other service. We appreciated that the hotel was pet-friendly because we were traveling with our dog, but they stuck us up on the top floor so it was a bit of a hassle to take our pup out every time he needed to pee.

Hotel location was good.

Unfortunately there was only one staff member working at the time of our check-in. This caused many problems. Our TV was not initially working and it took the front desk attendant 45 minutes to assist us from the initial time we called down. Once there he had to figure out the TV himself, but finally got it going. The attendant did a goid job, but the property itself was to blame for the shortcomings due to not having more staff available to address patron concerns. I actually felt bad for the lone attendant.

Everything was good. I enjoyed the breakfast and it was easy to get to.

I stayed six days earlier and enjoyed it so I thought I would stay again on my way home. I understand that different times of year dictates the price, but six days later my cost was $75 more. That is just plain gouging.

Location was fine.

A toilet that kept running and flushing all night. Front desk said nothing could be done overnight. Instead of having a fly swatter to lend out, I was given a can of bed bug spray to combat the fly in our room. Black cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling in one spot.

I expected more for a 4 star hotel. There was a hole in the closet door. Seal in the window glass was broken so window was clouded. They didn't have real juice for breakfast. They used paper plates. Parking lot is terrible. Spots were small and hard to access. Building is dated in some areas.

The staff were very friendly. That's the only thing I liked.

Stained sheet and the furniture. A room smells like a wet ashtray. A washroom smelled like dirty mob. AC blows cigarette smells it kept me up all night. It is very tight parking and not enough for all the guests. It was all unfortunate....and I will not go back.

The entire property looks old, dated and requires more care/ updating. The wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling back, the hallway walls and stairwell walls are scraped up. The noise carries amongst rooms- we could hear people talking and yelling from other rooms. We stayed Saturday night only and Sunday morning breakfast cut off is 9am which is earlier than most hotels on a Sunday- we needed to sleep so we missed breakfast.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, amazing staff. When my in-laws tv wasn't working, the person on duty moved them to a new room immediately, no fuss.

The new room my in-laws were put in had poor AC. The breakfast room was appalling. The plastic fold out tables were stained. At least put on some tablecloths. The chairs were so old there was no padding. The cheap shiny cloth used to hide the storage was ridiculously ugly. Invest in some foldable panels. My husband was shocked at how downgraded the Ramada name was in this hotel. Ramada used to be synonymous with high end quality, not shoddy corner cutting. This is all corporate level issues, not staff. The staff were lovely.

It was very busy the night of July 20. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and patient. He treated everyone with respect and didn't feel like we were just another number. I always enjoy my stay. I love how quiet and clean the rooms are. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent staff. Location close to intercity bus stations and not far from downtown. Decent breakfast. Overall clean. AC works well.

Das Zimmer war groß und gut möbliert, das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker und das Personal durchgehend sehr freundlich.

Die Zimmertür meldete immerzu einen Alarm, weil sie nicht richtig schloss. Man musste abschließen, damit sie ruhig blieb. Der Ablauf der Badewanne war sehr langsam.

Room amenities and bathrooms fixtures were substandard also dispensers were not working well. Breakfast was substandard too.

It was clean and had two arm chairs which were stylish and comfortable.

The toilet was a very, very low one, and the beds were very soft, a little more than we prefer. The parking lot stalls were very narrow. Pickup trucks used every inch of space and sometimes encroached on the next one’s.

The property was central to what we needed

The hotel was definitely older and dated. The hallways to the rooms are heavily scented with room freshers. The doors to the rooms were old and if not shut completely would beep(which I guess is a good thing) the room was not that clean. Windows had little kids hand prints all over them. We found dark hairs and mark on the sheets. The bathroom was very dated and not accommodating for taller people in the shower

My stay was disappointing overall. The rooms felt outdated — it was clear some cosmetic updates had been made, but nothing that addressed the underlying wear. The hot tub was visibly murky and unusable, and there was an old couch left on its side in the staircase, which made the property feel poorly maintained and neglected. The views were the only genuine highlight of the stay. EV charging is a scam as they'll charge you $1/min idle fees but not disclose this anywhere, beware if you plug in to charge! For the price point, I expected considerably more. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the property has potential that isn't being realized.

First time to stay in Ramada, Kamloops. We've always been using Fairmont, Fairfield or Holiday Inn but thought might give it a go. Location is handy,Price: reasonable. Staff are friendly, Breakfast is okay, Room is clean n comfortable but not soundproof as described. People are lurking n talking very loud along corridor till 0200 hrs, Light shining from the corridor thru the gap on side of door. Had unsettled night.

My boyfriend was waiting for he's brother to stop by. So he was sitting and waiting in the massage chair on the first floor. Then one of your staff rudely asking him "what he was doing there?" and that she doesn't remember seeing him there before. 🙄 asking him "what room he was in?". He told her that he doesn't need to tell her that. He probably would answered her question if she wasn't rude about it. We literally checked in the night before.
