Communication could be improved as there is no reception staff and response takes a while. Phone number provided is for another company. Paid for early check in at 2pm and didn’t receive codes until 4:15 pm. Thankfully a cleaner was there and she was great help. We managed to enter our room at 2:45pm. Thankfully didn’t ruin any plans we had.

Love the location, staff, amenities. The back garden had two cats, which I loved.

My room, across the front had no windows that opened for air and the street was loud, although I also liked seeing the city go by. But I wanted for air.

No hi ha ningú a la recepció en cap moment. Espero que no tinguis un problema o perdis la clau, etc. Et fan pagar un dipòsit de 50£ amb tarjeta abans de donar-te el codi de la clau, no especificat a les condicions. Nosaltres vam marxar fa 6 dies i encara no ens l'han tornat.

El colchon es incomodisimo. Se hundia por todos lados. El ropero es inservible, no tenia ni palo para colgar, pusieron uno de hace 200 años que no es nada util para lo que hoy en dia los humanos estamos acostumbrados. 2 prendas se podian colgar. Tampoco tiene aire acondisionado, para levantar la ventana a que entre aire tuve que poner un zapato que haga de tope

Era cómodo, muy bien situado y amplio.

Tuvimos problemas para entrar porque tardaron mucho en darnos el código, y luego nos lo dieron mal. Y no nos atendían al teléfono. Por otro lado, un detalle menor pero que es una pena: teníamos una habitación para 3 personas 2 noches y solo había un rollo de papel WC, por lo que tuvimos que salir a comprar.

The location was perfect to get to the centre and rail stations. Also I lived nearby in the past and was able to visit places I had frequented. The apartment was furnished in an individual way. It is a busy area but in a good way with plenty of food shops, restaurants as well as a range of other shops.

Complimentary tea and coffee awaited us BUT there were NO cups. Everything else was fine.

They messed up our rooms, we asked for three beds. Arrived to two. They solved it by giving us two separate rooms on two different floors. Mind you we were given the incorrect code for the second room. The rooms weren’t very clean, it was as though the bed was made but the rooms weren’t swept or dusted. The bathrooms were dingy and uncomfortable. Most of all, DO NOT STAY HERE, because they will try to rip you off for deposit money. Before arriving they will ask you for £50 deposit which they say they will inform you about whether or not you will get it back within 5 days. I heard nothing for a week so after I had to chase THEM up on my deposit they emailed me back later saying “we are keeping it because you broke the corner of the glass table”. After some back and forth I asked them for proof of the table being broken and all of a sudden I didn’t hear back and my bank notified me a refund had been initiated. The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. Don’t stay here stay anywhere else for the same price. Them trying to keep the deposit for no reason is enough of a case for me to never stay here or recommend it to anyone.

great location and easy check in large room with fridge kitchen and bathroom the staff where great we rang due to uncomfortable temperature in the room and they provided us a small fan which definitely helped the room cool slightly overall fine for what we wanted but if your wanting a nice family or couple stay probably not the best absolutely fine for friendship groups wanting to go out :)

bath was broken and there was a used cigarette under the radiator which we were slight disappointed with, it was extremely warm which i know can't always be helped with the weather but it was almost unbearable and none of the windows opened due to us being on the ground floor perhaps need to invest in some sort of cooling system as really was unpleasant to sleep

Everything about this place was horrendous. The photos are not of the studio we were given. Three tiny spaces...a living area not big enough for a sofa which had 2 ancient chairs.. A bedroom area with no external windows, just one facing a light well which stunk like a sewer. Unclean bedding and a lumpy mattress that must have been 20yrs old. Filthy windows, broken lightbulbs that hadn't been replaced. Some of the plug sockets didn't work. AVOID, and shame on booking.com for advertising places like this.

Manque une casserole dans la partie cuisine. Comme il n'y a pas de hotte au moment de la cuisson l'alarme fumée s'est mise en route. Le pire de tout ce sont les hurlements incessants des mouettes la nuit dû au fait qu'il n'y a pas de double vitrage: impossible de dormir correctement !!!!!! Pas d'aspirateur pour nettoyer un minimum la moquette et pas de ventilateur.

Great location, just a short walk from the city centre but far enough to be out of the hustle. Lovely decor in the rooms and good security on the building (assuming codes a changed regularly)

Half of the curtains were off the track so they couldn’t be closed at night, a bit of a problem in July with early sunrise and also privacy. And the window wouldn’t stay open, again a bit of an issue in the July warmth. But I found something to prop it up with so problem solved!

Great location. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Easy entry. Felt secure. Gorgeous character building.

We couldn’t open the window as they are the old sash windows (beautiful) but very heavy high up and seemingly no latches to hold them open. Only one very small table top fan was provided so the room was VERY stuffy but we have been having a heat wave.

Great location, great family room, clean, good kitchen.

Bathroom light was on some sort of automatic system which was annoying as stayed on for too long at night time.

Il trattamento: ho pagato in anticipo la struttura per poi arrivare e non trovare nessuno ad accoglierci. Dopo ripetuti chiamate e messaggi senza risposta, abbiamo dovuto cercare un’altro alloggio

A lot of value for the price, clean, spacious and excellent location. During the night it was surprisingly quiet. The lady on the phone was very patient and helpful.

I wasn't made aware at all that the online check in was mandatory to have completed. Because I found the entrance door locked. Once I got in after a guest came out, it turns out there was no reception. I had to call and go through the check in and deposit process over the phone and on my laptop. I even did complete the online check-in prior to arrival, however an additional button saying "form completed" needed to be clicked to finally send it. They're changing their check-in system apparently so hopefully this process will get clearer.

Me and my friend had a pleasant stay in this accommodation. The bed was super comfy and we were give really clear instructions of how to enter the property. There was plenty of tea and coffee and they even had oat milk which was lovely.

Unfortunately the room we got was fairly outdated and not that clean. On arrival I found a small dead lady bird in the bed and a few dead flies in the living room area and it looked like there were crumbs or something in the carpet so many not have been hoovered. Although our apartment was only for 2 people the images on the site weren’t representative of this and it might of been nice to see better pictures of where we were staying. The space was fine but seemed a little small if it was for a nice stay cation.

Very noisy. No double glazing. Screaming and shouting from people in the street even in the early hours. Not warm enough. One small heater not enough when the temperature dropped to near freezing. Kitchen basically equipped, couldn't cook a main meal.

Liked the location and there's plenty of space in the room to move around

The street was very noisy, but I did have a room overlooking the street.

The apartment was great everything you need just on your door step shops pubs restaurants takeaways.Plus it’s was nice and peaceful will definitely be staying again.

Curtains didn’t close fully, quite cold, no instructions for the hobs which I couldn’t get to work. Noisy outside, the room was at the front of the building . Also my deposit hasn’t been repaid yet I left the room as I found it.

Very cold. No central heating. Small oil filled radiator only. Not sufficient to heat such a huge room. No heating in bathroom. Toilet seat needs urgent attention.

The really bad smells from the drains, it was so bad that we couldn't stay in bathrooms too long, you need to sort this out, it has put our party off from coming back because of this

This was my second time staying at City studios Rodney street and is was a great place to stay once again. The accommodation and the facilities are very good and the location is one of the best in the city.

Spacious twin room studio with kitchen facilities. Combination of door code and lock box advised by the host made it easy to gain access to the studios. Great location with short walk to central station. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. All in all, great value.

Location was exactly what we wanted. Large room. Good kitchen Clean with good towels tea coffee soap. Shower gel and shampoo - but no hot water

21 November and heating and hot water didn't work. Temporary room heating was inadequate so we were cold. When I wrote to the company afterwards they did not reply. No table in the room.

The room was cold only had a little oil radiator …and half the light bulbs didn’t work

The size of the room was great plenty of space with super high ceilings ...the bath was a bonus as not many have baths left! Tiny kitchen was great too with everything we needed. Was super clean,credit to the cleaners, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This place has the potential of been even better! Unfortunately theres no reception/ staff on arrival to meet and greet its done by phone/email. So assume the same for overnight if there was a problem. The bathroom sink was slow draining nit sure if blocked, and the hot water super slow getting to kitchen sink ...age of property for that I suppose- thought was ok when running the bath? There must have been a problem with the heating in property as we had a small oil heater in the room on arrival....took the chill out of the air but at 4am when its baltic -4 outside it didn't help at all 😞 And with the huge room/ceilings the heater didnt do much, Hopefully they have it fixed for the next time as we did enjoy it so would look to booking again 😀

Great location 10 minutes walk from centre. The studio flat was so lovely so clean had everything you needed and bed was so comfortable and a great price

Heating needs sorting out very very cold one small heater that was luke warm which made the room feel very damp and never seen any staff the whole of our stay to report the heating problem

I'm not sure where to start, really. I sent several messages that went unanswered. I was only allowed the code to enter property minutes before 3 pm. I had wanted to print codes off to take with me as network coverage problematic. I had to ring for codes. Felt we were treated as totally untrustworthy. Utterly ridiculous procedure. I had sent a photo ID in the shape of a travel pass but was told it would have to be a driving licence or passport. I really disliked having to send my passport info, but my husbands driving licence is a paper one with no photo. We also had to pay a £50 refundable deposit. I have just contacted them to see when I will get the deposit back and told it has been processed, but it can take 5 days! We arrived on apartment lovely position fabulous building. This accommodation could be fantastic. But I would strongly suggest that owners spend a couple of nights there and 'snag list' apartments. We had one mug, (had 2 delivered quickly in fairness) one sachet of hot chocolate. One wine glass. Toilet seat loose. No shelf or cupboard in bathroom. We had to remake bed as quilt not big enough. Only one pillow each. Tiny plug in radiator to heat big room. No cloth to wipe kitchen surfaces. No sponge for dishes. No welcome folder etc. Empty tissue box. Such a shame. I've never left a bad review for anywhere before but these problems need addressing. Room could do with a couple of comfy chairs or two seater settee. We went midweek so extremely good value excellent position but if I'd paid weekend prices I'd be unhappy. We stay in Lpool several times a year. Think we will stick with hotel next time.

Good sized studio flat with small kitchen area and bathroom. Great position if you are looking to visit the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall as we did. Within walking distance to city centre shops and bars etc. Small dining table and chairs for eating. The room had one large double bed and one smaller double bed which were comfy enough. Slept well. Freeview TV available or you can use your subscriptions to watch netflix etc. Tea, coffee and milk sachets in the kitchen on arrival. No parking but there is 24 hour parking quite close by which cost £6 for 24hours.

Studio is set within a 200 year old building so the insulation between the rooms is understandably not great so you do get some movement noises but not enough to spoil the stay. The room is a little dated especially the curtains which were quite worn and took some effort to close and block out the lights due to ring hooks being broken. The radiators in the room appeared not to be turned on/working, so a portable radiator was provided but this really wasn't up to the job. Might get a bit nippy on a cold winters night. The only other issue we found was there is no mirror in the bathroom, although there is mirrored wardrobe in the main room. All in all these few issues would not put us off staying there again.
