THERE WAS MISS UP WITH THE CHECK IN NOT SURE IF IT WAS BOOKING.COM OR THEM. THEY DIDNT HAD THE SAME INFORMATUION AS BOOKING.COM DID, I HAD TO PAY EXTRA IN WHICH IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT... AND WILL NOT HAVE THIS REPEAT AGAIN...MY FIRST TIME USING BOOKING.COM AND MY LAST... THE CHECK WAS A NIGHTMARE WITH ME AND MY MOM.... THE HOTEL WILL SAY ONE THING AND THEN WHEN I CALL BOOKING.COM WILL SAY ANOTHER... NO MORE.. YOU LEARN WITH THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE.

The staff was great, the establishment was clean, great location, we loved interacting with Dave, Max and everyone there. Staying for 4-5 days at the same place can be worrisome but we honestly enjoyed the whole time, thanks to everyone.

It's only a nitpick but there was a smell in the elevator, pool was very small (and loud), and for some reason the door in our room (317) was difficult to close, the lock kept opening. That's probably a "me problem". Honestly it was great so we loved it.

Nice building with a lot of parking, the room was very nice with a huge bathroom and ice cold A/C. Hampton beach and boardwalk is a few miles down the road so definitely in a great location near fun activities, food, drinks, and coffee shops.

It was amazing I booked through booking.com and my reservation was completely messed up, but the front office staff completely fixed it gave me a discount and were amazing

Nice location, not far from the road or sea. Great spacious rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Laundry room came in handy, too!

We had to set our alarms to wake up early to make it in time for breakfast (closes @ 9) & both my mom and son had to go back to sleep as soon as we got back to the room. Would be nice after breakfast was available a little later (10?).

DO NOT STAY HERE- Warning- they charge you $350.00 saying you smoked in the room and a “secret” smoke alarm goes off. Front desk is rude - hotel manager doesn’t reply to emails. Watch for predatory charges! Plenty of choices - this place is looking for victims. My wife was charged and will be fighting this. As an attorney - I plan on having this resolved and the charges reversed. Wife has never smoked EVER yet they don’t care. Trust me.

Dirty carpet in room- white sock bottoms were dirty, and some other floors dirty. Very poor quality breakfast, we are elsewhere.

It was a very nice hotel nearby the beach great restaurants very cozy and welcoming breakfast was good too. Really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful space. Spacious room. Comfy furniture. Desk space incredible. Bathroom huge. Pool very small but kids loved it. Breakfast was terrific. Oatmeal bar. Eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, fruit, various breads, assorted juices and coffee. Big hit, something for everyone. All the support team were friendly, professional and informative.

Everything was fine except the road noise which prevented any sleep. The hotel is right next to the highway.

While the facility was clean and comfortable with updated rooms, the night staff and the hotel manager Julie were totally disrespectful to me. I came down to the lobby around 3:30 am and asked if I could get some coffee as I did not want to wake my wife with the in-room coffee maker. The night clerk refused telling me he could not make coffee until 5:00 am. Although he had access to the hotel kitchen, and making a thermos of coffee was not difficult, he refused and told me to get in my car and find a gas station somewhere. I then drove 10 miles on a round trip to Exeter and back without finding a single open station. I asked again if he would simply make some coffee and was again refused. While I was polite and never got angry, he told me it was against company policy to make coffee before 5 am. I reminded his I was a paying guest and was not asking for much, just a bit of consideration, he treated me like I was dirt on his shoe. I later approached the hotel manager and complained about my treatment I was told "too bad" while she agreed with my frustration she would do nothing about it. Again I was told it was 'company policy'. I called Marriott Corporate that afternoon and was told NO such policy exists and that the hotel was expected to provide guests with exceptional service within bounds. After paying nearly $200.00 a night I think I'm well within my rights to expect better treatment than I received at this hotel.

Breakfast was great, and this was a great area. The room was great, nice and clean.

The breakfast was about the same as a lesser quality hotel. A recent stay at a Hilton ( whose price was lower) offered an omelet station, table service and silver ware, not poor quality plastic utensils that break when you use them.

No one came to straighten up the room, clean the shower or replace the used towels that were left on the floor as per the written instructions.

Very nice and clean hotel. Dave at front desk went above and beyond. Spacious and comfy room. Tv in wierd spot. Bathroom nightlight shines through door and cant be turned off. All bathroom lights blew out when i used the hairdryer. No vanilla coffee creamer. Weekday breakfast ends at 9. No 24 hour coffee/tea. Quiet hotel.

Everything about this hotel and the staff were awesome.

The location and the comfort of the room was wonderful. The room was very spacious and accommodated us nicely. The breakfast was full of variety. We did like the administrations response to our concerns after we returned home.

The staff was fairly rude to us when we asked about our booking and that soured our whole trip. There were two people specifically behind the desk that were extremely rude to us when asking questions.

Staff was friendly, easy check- in, room was so nice and spacious. Definitely will be staying here again

We stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Hampton Portsmouth before a show at the Casino Ballroom. This hotel is super clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The AC was wonderful and the room was very spacious and up to date. We Ubered to the show without difficulty. We would not hesitate to choose Spring Hill Suites again.

We stayed in the cottage and we had a great time. The continental breakfast was good beautiful view from breakfast room. The cottage was very spacious, beds were very comfortable. We were four adults traveling together and we had plenty of room to spread out. I will definitely go there again.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel in the past, but this time around we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were hairs/crumbs in the sheets and candy on the floor. Clearly the room was not cleaned as well as it should have been. With the cost, at nearly $700 for 2 nights, I would expect higher standards. We do not recommend.
