Location and housekeeping staff are always very friendly. The attached breakfast cafe is also a plus.

I didn't like the rooms on the south side that were close to the rooftop music and bar. But that's just location. It was just noisier this time.

How close to the beach the room was. the room was great.

Not much information was given during check in about pool location, avaiblily of beach chairs & unbrellas . The food was not worth the price & service was bad.

The facility was way understaffed at bar/restaurants and couldn't get extra towels and no maid service for our two night stay.

Everything was awesome, except the pullout couch mattress was very uncomfortable. It also had plastic around the mattress and no sheets were provided for it so I bought a blowup mattress and it was far more comfortable.

The couch mattress. Plus the fact that its wrapped in plastic which is not really safe. Other than that we had thr best time and all your staff were fantastic. The other thing i would have wanted was a fresh water pool.

The location was good. The staff was friendly and nice. The valet parking worked well. Our rooms were clean and modern. On site dining was a plus.

I found the hotel entrance was a bit small and not much room to maneuver when entering and exiting with luggage. I only found one ice machine and it was on the first floor. Another ice machine located on the second floor would have been nice.

Pay for parking $25. Had to use valet services. I prefer to not do that. Also, pool was awkward in that you had to cut across to another building to enter pool. Pool area needs updating - looks 1970s. Ceiling (pool area) as well as floor needs updating. Flooring was very slippery.

This hotel has been renovated and is beautiful! It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I didn't know you had valet parking and it was $25 per night, and there was a card hold for $50, which is returned if not used. This information should be on the website.

Booked a room for 4 people (2 adults, 2 children) we were only given 3 towels. Waited at the outdoor bar for 15-20 mins, nobody ever came to take my order; so I left. We paid extra to be guaranteed to check in by 2pm. We weren’t able to check in until 2:30. They did give us $30 back.

Close to the beach . Close to the Boardwalk and everything . The room was so pretty . The beds we’re comfy and a nice balcony with an ocean view . Valet parking was great ! And also the available chairs for the beach and also bikes we could use !

Extra fees you pay $25. A day for parking 25 for using facilities which should be included and it said daily room cleaning i asked for sheets to change and more towels I left dirty towels outside door. Wish we a broom in room the floors were sandy

Great location!

Quite a bit… the first staff member we talked too argued with my girlfriend. Woke up at 2-3 am and our whole room smelled like a septic system… had to leave the hotel at 5 am because we were getting sick from the smell.

Ridiculous pricing. Charged $75 for “very early check-in” it was an hour early, I asked if check in was available and was told yes, was never told it would be $75. I would have waited. Got charged $50 for parking but I didn’t even have a car to park.

We were looking for a rental for a family vacation by the beach and by accident found out Ashworth has a two bedroom rental cottage, directly behind the main hotel. It is older, but is clean with a full kitchen, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a pull out sofa in the living area. It puts you a few hundred yards from the beach and allows access to the hotels indoor pool. All the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. Great location to walk to shops, arcade, food, drinks, concerts and fireworks. It is a second floor unit with only stairs to access.

The staff was courteous and friendly, the two restaurants that we ate at were excellent, I liked the fact that we could use the bicycles for no extra fee

Everything at The Ashworth was excellent. From the check in process, restaurants, bar, housekeeping, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal. We would definitely come back.

The hotel location was great, the staff was helpful and friendly (especially the overnight guy at the desk). It was a beautiful room and the view was great.

Our balcony had the back end of the neighboring rooms ac on it. It was so loud we couldn't even hear the waves crashing on the shore. It even kept us up most of the night.

The breakfast at the Wharfside Cafe was excellent. We enjoyed eating there. We enjoyed the balcony from our oceanfront room and the location to the beach was very convenient.

We didn't like that people were smoking on the balconies. We prefer hotels with no smoking. We were disappointed that the Breakers restaurant wasn't open. We enjoyed eating dinner there last summer , and it was one reason why we wanted to stay at the hotel. There were not enough valet attendants especially at checkout time. The wait time was very long.

Location was great . Unfortunately the restaurants at the hotel were not open on the days we were there. Beach was across the street and our view from our room especially the sunrise was beautiful. We really enjoyed the sand sculpting event that was taking place.

Wish the restaurants were open but we stayed a week or so too early. They were only open on weekends. Have to return as the restaurants have very good reviews.

Long check-in, dirty laundry in a stack in the hallway for a long period of time. Stairway was dirty. It came across that they didn’t have enough workers to get the place cleaned.

Very attractive room and large bathroom. Updated. Across from beach. Only restaurant I saw that was open was rooftop bar. Valet guys were super helpful and accommodated us extra hours after checkout. Front desk staff weren't overly friendly. Room was delayed by 60 min without any offer to compensate (check in 3pm and room wasn't ready til 4pm).

I tried to contact them to reschedule a recent reservation and could not reach anyone. No one answers and the box is full so you can’t leave a message. No response to emails.

The room was smaller than expected and for the amount of money we paid for 1 night we expected a more comfortable bed. Our room was 307 which was a partial ocean view but could not sit on balcony due to loud exhaust ventilation system for restaurant along with all of the food smells. Room has a refrigerator and hotel has ice machines. The Breakers restaurant was closed and only rooftop restaurant was open. My husband and I are not able to sit on high top tables so we were disappointed that we couldn’t dine at hotel. We were looking forward to an indoor comfortable AC experience with a great menu selection. It was 93 degrees and after a long day on beach that would have been great! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel offers valet parking so pull up to front of hotel and there is a door located in front that says valet. Beach is across the street and hotel provides chairs and umbrella for your use. Everything is within walking distance. There is a breakfast restaurant attached to hotel which has delicious food. Great location but more on the pricey side!

I like the location of the hotel in general. It is clean and quiet as it can be even in summer. Room looked newly renovated and was really nice.

I would like if they say partial ocean view they would show the actual view from photos of the rooms that are avail. Also I would have booked the suite but I think there should be one with two regular beds instead of sofa bed. Only reason I didn’t take it was because sofa beds aren’t good for older people with back issues.

Rooftop bar closes to early. Restaurant inside being closed if weather is good. Nobody responds to emails and phone never gets answered and voice mail box is full.

Staff is inexperienced. Overwhelmed...chemicals were added to the pool while my son was swimming. Son had a reaction to the chemicals....restaurant waitress not knowing what to do inexperienced....limited menu...not like it use to be...... got charged twice for resort fee and parking...says I will be refunded......

Staff really wasn’t to friendly at the front desk for my check in or check out. I was never even asked how my stay was at check out. A little more emphasis on customer service would of been nice.

Building itself is in a good walkable location, ac worked well. Bed was comfy and clean. The cleaning staff did a good job with the room, but the lobby and halls needed more frequent cleaning.

Tried to call on the way to ask where to park, tried several times, no pick up. Bare minimum micro amenities in the bedroom. Very Small Room. Very poor water pressure in the shower, especially on the rain head. No matter what setting it was on. Water temp fluctuated during shower from lukewarm to hot. NO parking , you are forced to use valet parking and pay a 25 dollar parking fee and ofcourse we tipped as well. Very inconvenient to get your car for plans. Poor valets were running around crazy. This is a one and done. Back to The Inn at Rye Place, much nicer, larger newer room, less cost and free breakfast, more privacy and peace. Worth the 10 minute drive.

The staff was impressive, especially because we stayed for 4days/3nights with a large family for July 4th and Hampton Beach was mobbed. Alexandra L on the cleaning staff was absolutely incredible! She checked on us every day and always made sure we had fresh towels, etc. We had no issues at all with the Ashworth or the employees. Yes you do pay $25 a day for valet but seriously it is worth it and the valet staff are also so amazing. It was HOT and crowded and they made us very comfortable with them taking our vehicle. (We have paid way more to park our self and walk around NY or Boston for a day or few hrs at a ball game.) So we have no complaints about the Valet it is totally worth every penny. The front desk staff stayed very composed even during the pandemonium of the holiday rush. They even treated our kids with the utmost respect when they would come down for goodies and allowed them to put them on our tab. Every restaurant at the Ashworth is also well worth the $$. We ate at a few other places on the boardwalk and they did not compare to the quality at any of the Ashworth restaurants. The Warfside Cafe has some of the best breakfast foods in New England!! Yet again the staff was Amazing! All in all you get what you pay for and we paid a lot and felt it was worth it. We are avid travelers and stay all over the Eastern seaboard as a large family and we were pleased! Sometimes it just boils down to a perspective.

The other guests! Some people just love to complain and I don’t understand it. You are at a Hotel on the 4th of July there are kids and they will laugh and have fun!! That is normal!!

This motel takes advantage of the people and on top of it they charge for parking no other motel at Hampton Beach charges at this place is pretty pathetic $800 a night and the room was disgusting and I mean disgusting I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody there are a lot of the better motels and places that you can rent on Hampton Beach for nowhere near that kind of money

This motel takes advantage of people and it's one of the disgusting motels that I've seen on Hampton Beach they charge for parking and there was no other motel on Hampton Beach whatsoever that charges for parking this motel is disgusting and their prices are discussing and they blame it on booking.com or Expedia there is no need for the prices that they charge I would not recommend anybody to ever stay there ever ever

Really small room for the price . There was no little bench in the shower like the photos . No microwave in the room so we couldn't rehear our amazing pizza from the restaurant downstairs. Coffee could have been better.

Added fees plus $25.00 a night for parking makes it pretty pricey. Barking dog for over 2 hours! Ice machine wasn't working.

I loved pulling right up and unloading and having valet park my car. I loved being directly across the street from the beach and bathroom facilities, but not in the thick of the crowds. Room was very clean. I loved having a balcony.

My room was directly adjacent to a parking garage that beeps loudly every time a car comes in or out, and it sounds like a smoke detector. Kept me awake and woke me up multiple times. Area was very noisy with the slider open and so I had to sleep with the slider closed instead of listening to the ocean. My teen daughter went to see the pool and was put off by the color of the water.

When we got to check-in, our room wasn’t available to us until nearly 6:30pm instead of 4pm and all we got was a $15 food and beverage voucher as an apology. Then the elevator was broken and we had to carry all our luggage up and down the stairs for the duration of our stay. For the cost and reputation of what I had heard of this hotel I expected way more!

The room was comfortable. Most staff were very nice.

I arrived early and was told my room was ready. I was charged an extra $40 dollars to check in early. I paid extra for a balcony. The balcony was filthy. Chairs and table were covered in grime and dirt. I found some cleaner and paper towels and cleaned them up myself I had to clear away cobwebs off the chairs the railings. On day 2, we asked for a few extra towels and we were out of shampoo. It appeared that housekeeping was short staffed and they never got to us.

Every staff member was very professional and just had good sweet attitudes .

The only thing was the restaurant was closed till Thursday but other than that we made it work.

Beachfront location is fantastic with valet parking, friendly staff. Room recently updated, spacious and clean.

Hotel could use a good cleaning. Pool is small and heavy with chemicals. Staff learning new computer system with long check in. I was not in their system although I'd stayed there within last year.

Paying $25 a night for mandatory valet service was ridiculous, I felt like my car was being held captive. We ate at the restaurant on Sunday night, there seemed to be only one waitress for the whole place, service was very slow. Food was not very good

Breakfast restaurant is only open on the weekends, the main restaurant didn't open at all. They claim to be an all season resort?? We stayed three nights and housekeeping never came to our room. After 10 AM there was no hot water, so forget a shower when you come back from the beach. This was daily, I went to the front desk and was told, oh we just need to flip a switch, you'll have water in 20 min. 4 hours more like it.
