The location and the pool
We were on the 9th floor and the hot water wouldn’t make it up. They told us to let the water run for 10 minutes in order to get it warm
Great stay for a family reunion. Great hotel in an excellent location between Old Town and Saw Mill. Nice to be able to us the gym and pool nextdoor at El Chaco. We will be back for sure!
The property is in an excellent location to walk to Old Town, the natural history museum and the Sawmill. It is a short drive to the biopark. The facility itself is lovely and well kept, but what made it exceptional was the staff who were warm, welcoming, helpful and continually went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
No negatives.

Location, ambiance, spacious room
The room could have had better lighting.
Hotel Albuquerque is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a good location. The staff is very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Nothing. I love the property.
Hotel Albuquerque is the best hotel in the city and maybe the entire state. From the friendly front desk to super clean rooms we enjoyed our stay from check in to check out. Such a great location for visiting Old Town and Sawmill.
We stayed here for 2 nights and found the location to be very central. The hotel was clean and tidy and check in was easy. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. While the staff initially seemed friendly and welcoming, that attitude disappeared when it came time to resolve actual issues. There was no sense of urgency or accountability. The air conditioning unit was extremely outdated and barely cooled the room. A maintenance worker came to look at it, but nothing was done to improve the temperature, leaving the room uncomfortable throughout my stay. The room itself was in poor condition. It was dusty, the furniture was old and worn, and everything felt neglected. For a hotel that positions itself as a higher-end property, I expected much better. The hotel should invest in updated air conditioning systems and replace the outdated furniture to match the price guests are paying. To make matters worse, when I checked out and shared my concerns with the two employees at the front desk, they were more focused on their conversation with security than listening to my feedback. I didn't feel acknowledged or valued as a guest. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed and would not stay here again.
I have never been so well taken care of and considerated during a hotel stay as I have been here. From the wonderful Samm at the front desk, to Tony in room service! All staff were wonderful and kind- the facilities were clean and had attentions to detail! I loved my stay and will be returning!
Great spot! The room was perfect, spacious, clean, and Modern but NM culture well blended in. The location was great with close proximity to the Saw Mill to eat and drink and hang with friends and family! Will definitely be visiting again!
Location
My second trip they raised prices
Beautiful stay and very lovely staff!! Everybody was kind and willing to help in any way possible! I traveled w my 2 dogs and no issues! Hotel was clean and very comfortable!
I loved this hotel. Everyone was super helpful. Logan at check in and also Ozzria and Kevin during our stay. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Great mountain view from upper floor. We were always greeted kindly by hotel staff.
Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. Love the balcony!
No dislikes.
The facility was beautifully designed and the restaurant was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The double beds are way too small for two normal size adults. Had a difficult night sleeping because we were so close together.
The hotel and room were spacious, clean, quiet and comfortably furnished. Plenty of parking. Great location next to Old Town. Really nice restaurant in the lobby. Great food and service. Beautiful, spacious lobby.
My opinion of Hotel Albuquerque is mixed. It's convenient to Old Town and the bathroom had the best lighting of any hotel I've stayed at. However, there is only 1 restaurant and we hardly ever saw anyone eating there, probably because of bad reviews. We never tried it. The "resort" fee of $30 was ridiculous as the pool was closed and there was only coffee available in the mornings. The room furniture was very cheap and looked like something you would see at Motel 6. Parking is limited when there is a convention or other big event.
The hotel is very clean, the pool is very good, the rooms and the room service 10/10 is a very beautiful hotel. I invite you to visit the Albuquerque hotel, very good experience
Great location, beautiful room!

Very chill & relaxing vibes. Went for a staycation. Enjoy the stay. The restaurant had great food. Definitely recommend.
We stayed at Hotel ABQ at Old Town in June to celebrate my spouse's birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant with a beautiful high-end antique charm that makes it feel unique. The food and cocktails were excellent, and the service at the bar was outstanding. As someone who loves trying great cocktails, I really appreciated the bartenders' recommendations and hospitality. A perfect place for a special occasion—I would definitely stay here again.
Amazing service, clean rooms and great food! It always good to know that you can still be comfortable in a place that’s not your home.
Gorgeous property with clean rooms, no carper and cool windows that allow you to see from mountain to mountain
Just as a person with a shellfish allergy, the restaurant is really close to the elevators and the shrimp smell permeates some times
Great building with lots of positive atmosphere. Terrific views of ABQ and Sandias. Staff at every turn, front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping do a wonderful job of taking care of guests. Food at the restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The grounds are lovely. We will be back.

The room was nice, the pool was enjoyable and the staff was nice, specially Michelle.
No microwave in the room. We asked for one, twicw, twicw they promised tto send it but never did. Very poor directions to the pool. They really need at least one more sign for it. Also they did not honored the price that Booking.com gave me. They charged different for each day based on "occupancy" that was what they said. Also booking .com said "that was the price, "includedtaxes"but I was charged taxes at the hotel. Vey unhappy to pay $143 for a room on one night and $172.68 for the same room for the next day!! they said to talk to Booking.com about this. Do you have a solution? Thank you, Sincerely, Ligia Fleming
I loved the courtyard, the main hall and the design of the room. I very much appreciated the security team actually roving the property exterior all night.
It would be nice if the room service and gift shop prices were lower.
Service was good. Upgraded when A/C in room didn’t work. Walkable to Old Town and Sawmill. Multiple channels on the TV didn’t work though…. Not a great look for a hotel with an “amenities” fee
The experience was absolutely amazing, the staff was very friendly and the amenities great.
I believe all was good.
Great pool and convienent location

Friendly and courteous front desk. Easy check in. Room was perfect. Pool and Chaco gym was the cherry on top. Thank you. I'll be back
Room was exceptional, especially for the price. Location was great, easy to get on i40. Hotel restaurant made a great breakfast, was a very comfortable stay.

I was there for a conference and i had the most amazing experience with everyone i encounter, from the banquet team to the housekeeping team. The frond desk staff was so professional at check in and check out. amazing spot to stay at. will definitely be back!
Great location, staff were wonderful, beautiful facility and comfortable room.
VERY loud wedding that absolutely blasted music until pretty late at night on the first night. The staff warned us when we checked in and put us on the highest floor available but we could still feel the bass music and sing along word for word on the 9th floor. Yay for weddings, but some reasonable volume control would have been nice. You can have a great party without music quite that loud.
Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.
No fan in bath so smoke detector would go off when showering.
The lobby and restaurant were very nice and felt luxury.
The room was a little smaller than expected from the photos.
Emplacement, qualité des chambres
Accueil assez froid
Great location. Warm staff. Nice aesthetic.
Shower water pressure is a bit low
We really enjoyed this hotel. The location next to Old Town is perfect. No need to drive and try to park there. The interstate was easy to access for getting out to sightsee beyond Old Town. The visit was great, right from check-in when we were warmly greeted with cookies (biscochitos) and bottles of cold water. The check-in process itself was quick and easy, and we were given great information and suggestions for our visit. An unexpected bonus was to discover that parking is both plentiful and free, rare for a big-city hotel. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the city and mountains from our balcony (not large but so worth it). A request for a towel exchange was taken care of within minutes. We booked a package that included breakfast in the restaurant, and that too was a pleasant experience. Delicious options in quiet, peaceful environment decorated in New Mexico style. The only complaint we had was that we had only booked 2 nights, and wished we had planned to stay longer. If we are ever able to return to Albuquerque, we would not stay anywhere else.
The location is close to old town and also to the highway 40
The ac unit is too loud to sleep
Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town is always our first choice when traveling cross country. Each stay has been delightful. This time I noticed that we did not pass a hotel staff member, regardless housekeeping, maintenance, service, etc....without them saying hello, asking how our stay was and asking if there was anything we needed. Kudos to Management for their superior training and putting together such a glowing team. They do a wonderful job in representing the hotel.
A true Southwest Camino Real Experience! (Royal Highway) As a fifth generation descendant of the original Spanish Colonizers on my Fathers side and 4 generations of Mexican ancestors on my Mothers side I can speak with great certainty that The Hotel Albuquerque truly nails the beauty of the “Hispanic” culture not only in beautiful Architecture but more importantly in the true and genuine hospitality of my Native People! From the moment you arrive the caring and attentive front desk clerks greet you with pleasant and welcoming attitudes and sincere interest in making you feel like you have come home! “Let me get you some water” was the first thing the nice guys at the desk said as he ran around the counter to offer assistance to my handicap wife in getting to the seating area in the lobby! Nothing extravagant but something no one seems to do these days. From that moment forward we were dotted upon and every staff member made the kind of eye contact and kind conversation that told us we were in a safe place! Now about the stunning decor and architecture- this place has it all from a grand lobby with enormous Mexican iron chandeliers and splendid furnishings to the authentic brick floors! The grounds are truly a masterpiece with manicured wandering pathways and fountains. The room was larger than typical and absolutely immaculate! Plenty of charging ports for all the electronics we all carry and a really comfortable desk chair! The bathroom was super “Spa-like “ and a spacious and a deep soaking tub was very welcome! Mini fridge and flatscreen with easy to use controller! BUT the crowning furnishing was the amazing bed! Honestly the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on the pillows we’re not cheap motel grade they actually had supportive weight and were also perfect! I promise I am not a paid employee of this gorgeous Hotel but I am a huge fan of high quality and excellent service! The Southwest is truly blessed to have this caliber of Hotel to call home! Adam
Our first trip to Albuquerque and this location couldn't have been more perfect! Easy walking distance to Old Town, a brewery and tap house, natural history museum, large food court pavilion with games, wine tasting, ghost tours, shops, coffee, Breaking Bad tour. So much to explore within a two block radius!
Nothing to dislike! Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet area, food and drink available on site or within easy walking distance.
The location was excellent. Short walk to Old Town.
About the only think that wasn't great was the water pressure of the shower.
clean room, comfy bed with nice linens. Bathroom was well appointed
Location was excellent. Very clean.
There was a wedding the night we stayed and we weren’t told or given the option of a quieter location. It was very noisy with a lot of yelling well into the night.
Beautiful hotel. Great room. Lovely, helpful staff. We thought that the dimmers on all the light fixtures was a wonderful idea!

Location near old town was great. Loved the pool!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Albuquerque with our family! The views were absolutely amazing, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the pool was top notch. Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience — we’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful hotel, close to old town
location is unbeatable. right in Old Town, next to Sawmill Market, where provides great food.
Location great, very nice people. Attractive room and comfortable bed.
Maybe a few snacks in the AM. Apples, granola bars, etc. Other comparable hotels do this. A microwave in the room would be great.
Comfortable and welcoming

loved the location, friendly, genuinely cheerful staff, and decor.
bathroom didn't have an exhaust switch that we could find to take care of shower fog
Quite luxurious. Classy hotel with a real southwestern US feel. Comfortable beds and rooms. Very good service

Beautiful historic property in Old Town, very pleasant staff & nice amenities. Walkable to the historic Old Town square.

Beautiful lobby, great location in Old Town, Flamenco onsite!, yummy food in the restaurant.
It's a conference hotel, so rooms are fairly small and it is showing some wear and grime.
From the moment we arrived at hotel, we were captivated by its unique charm and elegance. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience that beautifully blends New Mexico’s rich cultural influences - Pueblo, Spanish Territorial, and Western - creating an ambiance that is both luxurious and authentically Southwestern. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. The elegant decor, combined with modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We especially appreciated the attention to detail, which truly elevated the experience.
This hotel has so much to offer. It was a beautiful place for my son's wedding. The rooms were great with a lovely balcony. The staff was very nice. The parking was unlimited. The outdoor space was perfect for a wedding and the reception venue was unique and perfect no matter what size wedding. This staff did an excellent job in all areas of our 6 day stay.
Beautiful hotel and a team that goes out of their way to make the experience enjoyable.
