Breakfast did not come with stay, because we booked through booking.com, but the staff member gave us a complimentary breakfast anyway,

I've stayed here many times. There were no surprises and the property is well-managed.It is an older property but it has a lot of character which is why I keep coming back.

Seems like for an older property that the rate should not be so high.

This hotel had airport shuttle. We were able to use it to get to the hotel but our flights left too early to get a ride to the airport at the end of our stay. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Best Western è un vero e proprio hotel, pulito e con tutti i servizi. C'è un abbondante set di bagnoschiuma, creme e balsamo, asciugacapelli, busta biancheria, aria condizionata, frigo e macchina del caffè. Nel motel c'è il servizio gratuito di refill acqua e dell'ottimo caffè (di ogni tipo) alla reception. C'è possibilità di fare colazione e cena al ristorante (non incluso nel prezzo). Pulito: nessun insetto. La zona è tranquilla, ci sono pochi senzatetto e sono lontani, solo una volta ne ho trovata una fuori dall'hotel. Ottimo servizio shuttle per l'aeroporto, personale gentile ed efficiente

La prima sera il dispenser si sapone sia nella doccia che per le mani era finito ma mi hanno subito fornito un set di cortesia. L'asciugacapelli non era ben funzionante (odore di bruciato) ma me l'hanno sostituito. Tips for women solo traveler: ci sono homeless nei dintorni ma sono pochi, state lontane dal ponte, solo una volta ho trovato una senzatetto proprio davanti all'hotel, prestate attenzione quando vi recate a piedi ad Old Town in qualsiasi ora ed evitate se possibile i bus di linea, cercate di usare il servizio gratuito e on demand di ABQ Ride (ma copre poche zone) oppure Uber. Prestate anche attenzione ai fast food nelle immediate vicinanze poiché non sono ben frequentati, usate Uber Eats piuttosto. Ristorante: se avete problemi di dieta specificate di non usare spezie anche se sul menù non sono indicate.

Shuttle to and from the airport. Good restaurant attached to hotel. Located close to Old Town and the Sawmill.

The suggestion I have is that the broken stool used for entering and exiting your shuttle is replaced. Also it was disappointing that you no longer support the Pueblo Cultural Center by the shuttle taking visitors there. I am sure an innovative hotel like this one could work something round airport transfers.

Location was excellent as well as the availability of a restaurant on site. Food was excellent at the restaurant. Kind, efficient staff. We ate dinner but not breakfast. We like a property that provides breakfast but overall the facility was very nice. We would stay again next time in Albuquerque.

The fact that there was no free breakfast. Otherwise the restaurant was very nice with good food.

The room was very spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. The pool was lovely. It was great to have clothes washing facilities onsite. The staff were very helpful. To have coffee and fruit to grab in the morning was fantastic. Proximity to the old town was great.

The lighting in the bedroom could have been better. In general the hotel is a bit dated.

Nice large rooms in a convenient location of the freeway near the old town. Good parking with a nightly security guard. We've stayed here a number of times and never had a problem. Very good breakfast in the restaurant attached to the hotel.

There are double doors to enter that make bringing your luggage in and out a bit troublesome.

Was not offered a breakfast voucher during our stay for the first time out of many, many stays there! Maybe because we booked through booking instead of Best Western web site!

The staff was really nice and the room were confortable. I stayed here for a mariachi congress. Location was great.

Specifically picked b/c the hotel's website states parking 'Motorcoaches, truck/RVs'. Smal tight parking lot. No place to park the 26 foot Uhaul. It is one way in and out, other gates are locked. Both front desk people said 'Yeah, parking here sucks'. Staff doesn't care, why should they for little pay they get. Never staying at another BW again

It was safe for 4 ladies.

Best BW we've ever stayed at! Clean, great bed. Doggy room had bowls and a doggy bed. Art on the walls was beautiful. Breakfast was made to order restaurant menu at no charge. This place belongs in another category for Best Western.

The parking lot was small. I had called to inquire because we were traveling with large moving vehicles. They said it was large enough but it really wasn’t. The parking lot is adequate for people traveling in normal vehicles.

Perfect location!, Great Security, we felt very safe. Staff was very helpful. Loved the decor & beds very comfy. They have a pool and hot tub but we didn't get to try it.

I didn’t like that our A/C didn’t work and when we tried to get help we were basically blown off So we had a room temp of 75/78 all night and were so hot.

Clean and quiet. They have a on site restaurant. It’s right off the interstate but seemed to be a rough part of the city. There were fences around alot of the properties so stay alert if outside. We walked across the street and didn’t have any issues.

Propane leak and fire department blocked my car from entering secure parking. Attendant did not help steward

Customer service is lacking. When things go wrong, those in charge should handle them better. No hot water, no breakfast and no coffee. They just shrug their shoulders and acted like it was my problem, not theirs.

The location was great, easy off and on the interstate and very accommodating for our dog. There was a outlet dog potty areas with doggie bags and trash bins for easy disposal. Also loved and appreciated the fact that the entire parking area was fenced off. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it was very good. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend 👌

Mattress needs replacement

The location was perfect. It is right off the highway. The hottest was a nice perk after a long drive. The restaurant served delicious food (especially the green chili).

We’ve stayed here before, so it was my first choice in booking a last minute room Wednesday night, but they were out of Kings… so we booked at the Drury Inn. The Drury turned into a fiasco, so at 9:00 at night we moved over to the Best Western Rio Grande… it was perfect! First, the friendliness of the front desk. Secondly, it was late. I was hungry, and I was very grateful to be able to sit down and have a real meal right there at the hotel. Excellent homemade tamales!!! Parking around back within an enclosed fence was ample and secure. The room is tastefully decorated, but more importantly… clean and comfortable!!! Breakfast is not your average instant eggs and frozen potatoes… no! It’s a sit down fried eggs and bacon kind of breakfast! Bonus… they even had Gluten Free Toast for those of us that are forced to eat gluten free!!! And the waitstaff, both dinner and breakfast, were super! Admittedly, I was in a very bad mood when I walked in, but I was well fed and well rested when I left. Thanks Best Western!!!

I was participating in a tour starting late April and arrived in Albuquerque a few days before to explore on my own. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and before I even asked, I was told that they had arranged for me to stay in the same room for the tour. Breakfast was excellent. The pickup at the airport was most appreciated, as was the airport shuttle for my departure. The hotel is roughly a 15-minute walk to Old Town, and there are numerous restaurants along the way. Pickups for Lyft rides to wherever were easy and quick. My room was very nice and the bed quite comfortable. A lovely stay.

It was easy access to freeway and in a relatively safe area.

The pool and spa were not clean and the “tent” was old with freezing cold air blasting into it. The water was cold as well in pool and tepid in the spa. Could not turn on jets.

This is a good hotel, have been staying here the last 25 years every time we come to Albuquerque. This time one complaint, had to pay before stay due to the fact sold out it was during the Gathering of Nations POWWOW, I get it, but still if you are coming why are we paying before we get there to secure the room? If we do not show up then the hotel still collects the fee, so we had reservations, so no need to collect ahead. Did not like that policy, said only happened during the Gathering of Nations and the Balloon Fest still not a very welcomed Policy. Although rooms are clean, and like the breakfast in the morning, What happened to the microwaves, and the outlets to plug our devices, like cell phones, UBS apparatus to charge were not working against the wall. on the table, the plugs did not work either, this is sad. I mean you pay all this money for rooms and items in the hotel do not work. It is an ideal location for old town, and clean but it was just not the same as before. Staff is friendly, but the people renting rooms not so much, the staff at the desk need to inform people to return the luggage carts back to where they belong, we could not find one anywhere the morning we were checking out. Some people must of put them in their rooms, the hotel is just not the same. Next time staying somewhere else.

Easy to find, great safe parking, very polite staff up front. Very nice to have a restaurant next door that was great for dinner, after driving a lot during the day. Price is good, am solo woman traveler. Wonderful hot water. The microwave is a central location on the third floor, but the room had a refrigerator. Is right next to I-40 but still the traffic noise was minimal.

Unless you are a rewards member with Best Western, and I have stayed with many in the past and not had this issue, there is no free breakfast. That's ridiculous. Thankfully I brought my own oatmeal, but I have to go down to the third floor to use the microwave but at least I have that option. This kind of breakfast policy is very discriminatory against other customers, I have never run into that before. Not happy. This is the one thing that drove my rating from a 9 down to 7, otherwise it was a nice facility. Very sad.

All was exceptional

We were traveling from Michigan to Arizona and stopped here on the way. We liked it so much, we stopped again on the way back. It was clean. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The food and margaritas were great. It was really nice to have a good restaurant in the hotel. I recommend this hotel.

Bedding and towels look grayish and stained. My main concern was we asked for privacy but it was served and my computer bag was opened.

Very dog friendly. Huge fenced area on property allows the dogs to play. At check-in, they give you treat bags for dogs. Loved the attached restaurant, pool, hot tub, and that they provide a free sit-down breakfast where you order off a menu and are waited on. Great location right off interstate. Clean, comfy bed and room, friendly staff. Well worth the price.
