The lobby was great
The room smelled like it had been smoked in
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the ToGo Market is extremely convenient and reasonably priced. The rooms are excellent, underground parking is a nice feature for a downtown location, and the bar and sofa lounge areas are very comfortable and luxurious. This is by far my favorite place to stay in Albuquerque.
The only thing I wish for at this hotel is stair steps into the pool because I like to be able to sit in the pool instead of stand in in the pool.
Guy at the front rude
Attitude
Location, comfort and cleanliness. Amazing hotel, amazing facilities, great pool - the jacuzzi is beyond amazing!
Muy nuevo. Buen gym. Piscina y spa. Personal amable. Valet parking barato
Un poco alejado de old town
The first look was beautiful and the staff were great. The beds were fabulous !
The tiny refrigerator on the FLOOR! The shower pull was complicated!
Lovely
Nothing
Clyde Hotel felt like a nice haven in downtown Albuquerque, in a decent location to walk to downtown or to Old Town.
Though shared spaces were nice, inside the room was no different than any big hotel. Stuffy air with all carpets with no windows to air out, not recommended for sensitive individuals. Minibar noise was also loud and noticable at night.
The interior design of the room. The lighting. The bed, sheets, materials. The ambiance of the hotel. Hotel was a short walk to the venue I was visiting. The area I was in was quite, I wasn't sure if there were any other guest on the floor.
Both times I took a shower the bathroom floor against the tub got soaked. And that bathroom floor is slippery when wet. The first time I had to wring out the floor mat towel about 5 times to get the standing water on the floor so it could dry. I suggest a fancy sliding glass door to trap the shower water. Perhaps in the same aesthetic as the room and hotel.
Food and service was perfect!
Очень приветливый персонал
За собаку (корги) с нас списали 75 долларов о которых нигде ранее не было сказано . Ресторан ни о чем, подача долгая и блюда специфические очень
The staff were all phenomenal and super helpful. A big thanks to Ty, Priscilla, Matt, and Yaya for helping me with room issues, and just genuinely being kind and helpful.
Summer has been our waitress twice now. She is fast but doesn’t rush us, she has a great memory and is very pleasant. She helps making a meal at Carries very enjoyable.
Service in the restaurant was great. Food was good. Very pleasant experience. Sergio was friendly and efficient.
We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Clyde- especially the service and quality of dining at Cassie’s. The wait staff is very hospitable and helpful with planning our stay. Sergio helped us find things to do near the hotel and the food was great!
Matthew G. has excellent guest relations skills always saying hello and have a good day countless positive interactions.
Eduardo Martinez in the Restaurant was very polite and I had very good conversations with him and his service outstanding l. You can tell he is a hard worker. The food was also very good.
Very clean
Sergio has been nothing but kind, professional, and efficient. He has provided the very best service over my stay here at the Clyde the past few days. I high recommend Carrie’s restaurant for wonderful food and Sergio for amazing service!
Bar staff is exceptional! Took great care of us for the mariachi conference.
We loved the room and MOST of the staff was VERY kind and helpful, especially Jacen, Ty, and Adriana at the front desk! HOWEVER, when we asked about extending our stay one night, MATTHEW (at the front desk) was EXTREMELY RUDE and LIED TO US by stating that the hotel was completely booked the next day. We were able to book the extended night through a third party app without a problem. And, of course, it was plain to see that the hotel WAS NOT completely booked the next day. We also heard MATTHEW yell at other customers who were standing behind us waiting to check in. MATTHEW was the only stain on our week long experience at The Clyde hotel.
Had a nice quiet room. Very clean and friendly staff.
Nothing
We have been on a month long trip that covered most of the western states, and Albuquerque was one of our last stops. We decided on two nights there, and our stay at the Clyde was wonderful. An elegant hotel that brought nostalgia and memories of yesteryear with a modern twist. We absolutely loved our time there. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Our waiter each morning at breakfast was Eduardo Martinez. He was friendly, helpful and just an overall good server. He started our days with joy. We also ate at the 1922 and food and service was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. If we ever return to the Albuquerque area, we will definitely stay with you.
Clean facility. Customer service was awesome
Ty was awesome and took care of us!
My stay has been wonderful! One of the most beautiful and well kept hotels I’ve ever stayed in, Ty checked us in and was absolutely lovely; so helpful and accommodating. We felt so welcome and comfortable.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and very inviting. Rooms were spacious and the bar downstairs was relaxing, offering appetizing drinks and snacks.
There isn’t anything we disliked. We had a very comfortable stay.
Hotel molto bello, elegante e posizione centralissima.
Nulla.
Schönes Interieur das an die roaring twenties erinnert; sehr engagierte Mitarbeiter, die Persönlichkeiten sind
Computer system was down, so we waited about 45 min before we could check in. I thought they might offer us a free drink for our trouble while we waited, but no.
The room was nice and comfy. The hotel was huge. We did get some drinks at the bar which was enjoyable and the bartender was great. I also like that they offered iced water all over the hotel as well. Very snazzy lobby
The pool was great but it would be nice to have more shade options as we were directly in sun and couldn’t stay for to long out there
Great location and value for our short visit. Passing through Albuquerque and wanted a great central location to do a fast sightseeing weekend. Check-in was fast and the multiple restaurants and coffee shop in the hotel were all great
Rooms were a bit dated and old fashioned compared to the rest of the hotel but nothing actually wrong with anything during our stay.
would like to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at The Clyde Hotel. The hotel itself feels quite old, and the bed was very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to rest properly. Additionally, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the security staff members. When we briefly parked our car near the entrance while checking in, the security guard became irritable and raised his voice at us. He stated that the area was an emergency entrance; however, there were no visible signs indicating this. We never refused to move the vehicle and fully intended to do so after completing the check-in process. I believe guests should be treated with courtesy and respect, especially during arrival and check-in. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression of our stay. Thank you for your attention.
The location was convenient and the check-in process was relatively easy. Other than that, there was very little that stood out positively during my stay.
The room did not have a refrigerator, the sink was clogged and would not drain properly, and the shampoo dispenser was empty. During the night, the fire alarm went off and all guests were required to evacuate the building. It was later determined to be a false alarm, but no announcement or explanation was provided afterward. In addition, the lobby staff gave incorrect directions and inconsistent information. Overall, the hotel appears poorly maintained and does not provide the level of service expected for the price charged.
Ok
Yareli and Chantel were so sweet and welcoming and helped make my birthday feel special. One of the best stays I’ve had in Albuquerque.
Front desk staff were very nice!!! No hidden costs, parking was included in the total!!
Elevators could use some refreshing
Staff was very friendly and the remodeled portion of the hotel was nice. Great location.
The ac/heat in my room was banging and my curtains broke in the first room, so was unable to have blackout conditions. I had to change rooms. In my new room I was unable to raise the temperature of the thermostat because it was explained to me the building was old and the thermostat did not work unless the outdoor temperature was lower than the setting I wanted.
The Clyde is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. Chantel at reception especially has been gracious and helpful at every turn, giving us excellent recommendations for a great time in Albuquerque in between conference sessions.
How safe it feels
I loved everything!
This was my first time staying in the Clyde, and I have really enjoyed it. My room was clean and comfortable, the lobby/atrium is a great perk, and guest services (Chantel B. and Matthew G.) were really friendly and helpful.
Very nice location with wonderful views. Modern interior
I liked everything
Large room, super-comfortable bed, clean room and facilities. Property is a bit dated but the staff more than make up for it. Matthew G and Adriana made our overall experience even more special.
Classic feel
Had a great time dining at Carries restaurant at the Clyde Hotel...Eduardo Martinez was my server for breakfast and was a true professional!
very aesthetic looking place , nice clean hotel. clean room, very pretty
that you have to pay 16 dollars if ur parked for a couple hours. i feel like it should be a day parking. i shouldn’t need to pay 16 dollars for when i leave and come back and pay another 16 and leave and come back. pretty stupid
Great place
Jacuzzi not hot at all
The staff was delightful, and the restarants and bar spaces were extremely nice. The art deco theming and full lobby provide a sense of gracious elegence.
Great experience. We were upgraded to a suite! Thanks, Chantel.
I like the heritage of the building. I stayed at this property 2 weeks prior in a deluxe room which was far superior to the standard that we stayed in this time due to nil availability of the deluxe. Towels need upgrading. The foyer is beautiful and relaxing. The bar staff were terrific and did their job well. As the bar was busy they allowed us to have our drinks and snacks in the foyer area. But they certainly didn’t neglect us. Well done bar staff
Towels need upgrading
Clean and comfortable
The carpet outside the bathroom was soaking wet. I told the front desk and they said just “put a towel over it”. It became worse the second day and we put the rubber bathroom mat over it it was quite a large area and not fun to step in barefoot at night.
Valet parking. Cleanliness. Comfort; bed was very nice. The hotel is beautiful.
Food was great but more variety on room service menu would be nice.
It's always very nice and clean. Staff is great, and the location is wonderful
Priscila at check in was fabulous. If every team member had her verve, Albuquerque would not be able to handle all the guests that would rush there.
Everything was fine. It was a big hotel in a big town. The staff were very efficient and check-in was easy. We were surprised there wasn't a proper restaurant in the hotel, however the bar had simple food on offer which was quite adequate and the restaurant staff were eager to please. Same with a good breakfast, which was served in a separate eating area. Room was fine, quiet and comfortable. Good bathroom and easy parking. There was a shuttle taxi service to Old Town & back (at a very reasonable token price) which worked well.
Nothing
Breakfast was excellent, place was clean and Eduardo Martinez was fantastic with waiting on me. Great worker, very respectful!
The lobby was nice and it was in a good location.
The male front desk worker was unpleasant. During the entire stay, only one of the four elevators worked resulting excessive wait time to get up / downstairs. When asked, the front desk workers would not allow stairs to be used because stairs are for emergencies only.
Upon entering this hotel, we were immediately greeted with the warmest smiles from the 2 male staff members at the front desk. Matthew was an exuberant, young man with not only a wealth of knowledge of the hotel’s amenities, but of the history of the hotel and Clyde Tingley. The hotel itself felt like a luxurious blast from the past, in the most complimentary way. The king room had an amazing, picturesque view of the pavilion and surrounding landscape. The robe & slippers combo in the wardrobe were the most comfortable sets I’ve donned. Lastly, the COFFEE!!! Wow! A deep, rich coffee; able to be enjoyed in a beautiful coffee cup and saucer. Just simply exquisite. Was gifted extra pods by Matthew and I thank him endlessly for that act of kindness.
We didn’t arrive until late and left early so didn’t see much of the property.
It needs updates in the room especially the bathroom.
The employees were super helpful and friendly! I needed something printed last minute, and the woman at the front desk (Chantel I think?) was a total lifesaver!!
Super nice I like the theme
The location is excellent and easily accessible
Clean and very comfortable
I have to take the time to thank the front desk representative Michael excellent customer service greeted me with a smile 😃made me feel like I was at home. This hotel was really amazing a lot of character very clean, relaxing awesome environment. Thank you for a great visit. The rooms are very nice. Look forward to returning thank you Michael who works the front desk impeccable
Great hotel, just beautiful! Thank you Matt G., for the excellent service!
Very nice location and hotel
When you arrive there is a 25 per day charge not listed on the booking
My recent stay at the Clyde Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and a large part of that experience was thanks to Chantel, whose commitment to outstanding customer service truly stood out. From the moment I arrived, Chantel greeted me with warmth and professionalism, instantly making me feel welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and stress-free, handling requests with efficiency, genuine kindness, and an attention to detail that is rare to find. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, anticipating needs before I even had to ask, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, Chantel consistently delivered service at the highest level. It’s clear that she takes great pride in her work, and her positive attitude had a lasting impact on my overall experience at the hotel. Employees like Chantel are what transform a good stay into a truly memorable one. I highly recommend the Clyde Hotel to anyone looking for not only a comfortable place to stay, but also a team that genuinely cares about their guests. Thanks again to Chantel for setting such a high standard of hospitality.
Very clean and the most comfortable beds and pillows! The decor in the hotel and guest rooms were very inviting and impressive.
I cannot think of one thing I didn’t like.
Staff was incredible, very warm and anticipating every move.
Excellent rooms, really nice breakfast. Staff were great.

I want to commend the housekeepers; they do an excellent job—the room was impeccable. However, the lobby service—specifically the staff working there—is truly abysmal. I called days in advance to ask if the pool was operational and if the water was heated; they told me yes—that it was open year-round. I arrived at the pool with my children, and the water was freezing cold—extremely cold. That was the first mistake. Next, regarding parking: I had to pay $16, yet none of the receptionists who handed me my room keys mentioned that those same keys could be used to access the parking garage. Later, they charged me an additional $18 fee to park my car there. I had already paid the initial $16 to store my vehicle, but then I had to leave briefly to get some sodas; consequently, I ended up paying double because the reception staff explains absolutely nothing and offers zero guidance. Does the "Vista Room" basically not work, or is access restricted to only certain guests? The room next door—along with the two rooms immediately following it—were hosting a party inside the guest rooms. Wow. I really expected more from this hotel. I’m giving it one star, and that star is truly dedicated to the housekeepers. 👋✨
Affordable and comfortable The staff was all friendly
No fan in the bathroom
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Chantel at the front desk was incredibly helpful. My room was beautiful and had dramatic views of the mountains and downtown Albuquerque. The hotel lobby and bar are elegant.
Nice hotel architecture.
Light was out in bathroom, other room lamp was unplugged and I had to crawl on my knees to plug it in. The hot tub was disgusting. Green and cloudy bottom layer. Charged me amenities daily fees when I couldn't use the hot tub and rebated me one day instead of three. Dinner restaurant is only a bar with very limited menu. No frig in room.
It's a nice hotel with a lovely bar. We found it impossible to get room service...phone just rang and rang. The 6'7 tall valet guy was extremely nice and friendly.
Manuel provided excellent customer care and service! He was very friendly and made our overall stay. The food and front desk staff were also excellent and the hotel atmosphere led for an amazing stay for my first trip to New Mexico!
Lo esperado, sin más
No hay buffet de desayuno
I rarely leave reviews, but had such a positive experience with my visit to the Clyde I thought I should. I am a regular guest. The hotel is lovely, convenient and well located. The service this time was top-notch. From the valet and assistance with my bags by Neal and the professionalism of Matthew G on check-in, my experience was excellent. Matthew G went above and beyond with service. He was professional and kind on check-in and went out of his way to assure my stay was special. I love the Clyde and will continue returning. Way to go the Clyde!
Matthew G. was so kind and informative. He truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! You could see how much he loved his job by how well he took care of everyone. What asset to have on your team 🙂
Matthew was awesome at checkin, beautiful hotel, and good food at the restaurant.
