Breakfast was excellent. Bed was ok could have been bigger. Elevator is tiny.

Bar was empty most of the time. Lack of atmosphere. Also food on two occasions was not great. Fish and chips burned and duck very tough.

We had w wonderful room with a sea view a a bathtub in the room :-) The room and the bathroom were spacious, the staff was nice and friendly, lobby and entrance looked very well maintained in Victorian style.

well perhaps there could be a little bit more variety for breakfast, like pancakes or omelette. My fussy child could not order omelette and the eggs were too soft.

Lovely hotel with charm and character bang on South Tenby beach availing incredible views and easy access to the magnificent beach and walking distance from picturesque town centre. Great facilities, clean, comfy bed and decent breakfast offerings in beautiful ambience.

At breakfast the sausage skins were inedible and sausage was tasteless/no flavour.

Die Lage war super. Direkt am Strand. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider war es nur ein französisches Bett, was etwas klein war und nur eine Bettdecke hatte. Das Frühstück war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Stayed there some years ago, good to be back albeit for one night. Great location for sea view and a lovely short walk into the hub of the town. Comfortable bed.

The TV in the room was very old and the reception poor, but this was a fairly minor issue. This Booking com review which asks for too much when people have nothing else to add which puts people off filling it out!

La habitación está bien para pasar una o dos noches, ya que es pequeña. Nosotros la cogemos así porque solo dormimos una noche y nos da igual, pero habría que valorar algo más grande para pasar más días. Las vistas estaban muy bien, daban a la playa y se veía muy bonito. El desayuno era inglés, muy completo, aunque hay que pedir lo que quieres al camarero, prefiero el tipo buffet.

No tiene aparcamiento y por lo que sé tampoco tienen ningún aparcamiento cercano concertado para aplicar algún tipo de descuento. Por otro lado, sé que en el Reino Unido no es normal pasar calor y el aire acondicionado no lo consideran, pero debido al cambio climático, deberían pensar en invertir en ello, un ventilador no es suficiente.

As it was only one night I didn’t bother to complain but the TV wasn’t working as I believe the batteries in the remote control were dead, attention to detail is important at all hotels. Bathroom was very small but you get what you pay for I guess. Not hotels fault but parking was a nightmare as well. Whilst willing to pay for parking driving around to find suitable close to hotel because we were elderly was difficult. If we were staying longer parking would have been very expensive.

Stunning room with a beautiful view , we had a fantastic time and will definitely be booking again everything was exceptional, staff very friendly, breakfast was amazing and the room A*. Huge congratulations to all off the staff at the Giltar.

The only tiny thing that I can say.is hhat I found the lift to be extremely slow , needs modernising BUT it did not spoil our stay at the Giltar just a very small minor inconvenience.

It was in a great position on the sea front, my single room was not too small and it was good to have a 4ft bed. The lounge/bar was bright and comfortable

Only that when I opened the bedroom window I could smell fumes from The two chimney/vents on the roof below

The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. The room surpassed my expectations. Location was perfect.

The hotel is spotless, and extremely well maintained. Staff were always friendly and approachable. Location is excellent. We had two great evening meals. Breakfast was plentiful, good choice, very hot and good quality ingredients. The lounge area is nicely decorated with fresh flowers and plenty of seating. Bedroom was airy and the toiletries were of a good quality. Decoration here is also very good.

It's a shame that there wasn't a king bed in our room (410) as there is plenty of room. The double was ok for 2 nights. The shower door is also very small in the en-suite and would be better if square shaped, rather than a corner shower.

Staff on reception when we arrived seemed a bit abrupt saying that we couldn't book in on the time that was given 2pm as the weather was hot then say I had not booked but my name was wrong on the booking it was my birthday and I asked for sea view which I didn't get and the bed bed was awful old uncomfortable and noisy.

Everything! The location couldn’t be better, the room was exceptional- I had a bath whilst looking out to sea- and the staff were delightful! The breakfast was lovely, dinner was delicious- we loved everything about it!!

I would say the parking wasn’t great because they have limited space but there is a huge car park about three minutes away, so even that wasn’t bad!!

Ottima posizione e buona colazione tipica britannica servita in bella sala da dove si vede il mare. Personale in sala molto gentile. Piacevoli lenzuola di morbido cotone. Camera piccolina ma con tutto il necessario e molto pulita.

La camera singola ha il materasso un po' vecchio che sarebbe da cambiare. La finestra da sugli sfiati di aereazione del ristorante, odore e rumore sgradevole (ma entro le 21 l'aereazione viene spenta). La colazione è servita dalle 8, può essere tardi per chi viaggia.

Een fijn hotel op een fantastische plek met ouderwetse service ( in de positieve zin van het woord). Een knusse kamer met een geweldig uitzicht op zee. Een goed ontbijt en een restaurant met dinermogelijkheid voor gasten.

De kamer was ‘s nachts een beetje warm, maar het was dan ook uitzonderlijk heet.

Lovely hotel, but the room wasn’t what we expected, it was in an annex at the side, very tired and desperately needing renovation, not advertised so very misleading, beds uncomfortable,a tv as big as an iPad, a shower that you couldn’t move in, the room was clean to an acceptable standard, we coped for one night.

Fabulous location with beautiful views of the sea and Caldey Island. Lovely staff pleasant and helpful. Our second stay and look forward to more stays in future.

I LOVED the sea view room. It was comfortable and an ideal seafront hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast. The room was a decent size and comfortable.

Loved the bedroom, it was clean, comfortable and had an incredible view. The location couldn’t be better. Really lovely.

It was generally nice but I think a few things made it feel cheap and overpriced. The bed was very wobbly and flimsy, the food reviews are excellent but we thought the quality of the breakfast was kinda poor- the avocado toast was watery like it had been defrosted, and the coffee wasn’t good so we paid extra for machine ones and they weren’t made properly. Maybe that’s personal taste though.

Great location, couldn't ask for much better being about a minute from the beach and a few minutes from the town centre. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Weird issue where the light in the bathroom turns on based on motion detection but its under sensitive and you're in the bathroom and the light turns off 4 or 5 times leaving you in total darkness until you can get the thing to recognise there's someone in there. Breakfast was very average, would get breakfast out if I were to stay again.
