The breakfast was incredible and really set us up for a good day of exploring Tenby and area. Delicious food with big portions. Sam is a great, personable host and we really enjoyed starting our day in the dining area with all the other guests. The rooms are cozy and clean. I'd definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Wales.

Sam and Julie, who run the guest house were very welcoming and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast they provided was cooked to perfection using locally sourced high quality produce.

No lift - but that is normal for a Guest House.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The room was comfortable, impeccably clean and included breakfast made for great value. Especially loved Sam and his great sense of humour, so kind and playful with our 6yo son at breakfast. It made every breakfast and absolute joy, don't ever stop being you Sam!

There is lots to like about this guest house: 1. The warm welcome from the owners 😄 2. Our room was lovely, everything you need for a comfortable stay is included. The whole place is spotless. 3. The breakfast is so yummy 🤤 lots to choose from; fresh fruit, cereal, toast and a good old fry up. Nicely laid out, plentiful and hot food is still hot when it’s given to you. Service is amazing 🤩 4. Location is very good. Not far to walk to the beaches (there is more than one), and the shops bars and restaurants. 5. There are plenty of places to park. Some roads have free parking and there are also paid parking which are not too expensive - all not far at all to walk to and from Guest House.

We couldn't fault anything during our stay. Breakfast was FAR more and better than we could have hoped for. A ''full'' english was enormous, much more than I could manage and I have a VERY healthy appetite. The whole experience was more than you would expect to find in a B&B. A well organised and lovely couple.

Parking in temby is hard to get at most guest houses but there are lots of car parks but you have to pay

Location is a short walk into town centre Host Sam & Julie were great, friendly and helpful. Room was exceptional clean and tidy. The breakfast was fantastic all quality ingredients properly cooked how you wanted, all served with a smile 😃

Lovely friendly hosts, fantastic breakfasts, and a great location, Parking not really available outside the Hotel (though you can drop off your luggage at the front door), but there is a car park literally round the corner that allows multi day stays for £10/day, or a short walk away there is a multi storey that would provide covered parking if required. The room was very clean and nice. The location was excellent for both a short walk down to the South beach, or an easy short walk into town.

The room was a little small, which would have been challenging if we had to stay in the room due to bad weather, but as we were there during a heatwave we were out and about most of the time.

Property was of high standard and lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was first class. Freshly cooked. Lots of breakfast choices. Very close to beach and town amenities.

Very well located and cosy and the hosts were excellent. Breakfasts were top-notch. I would be happy to stay again.

The room was a little small, especially the bathroom. I was staying on my own and it was a little cramped, but it would have been even tighter for a couple.

On day of arrival we had a family issue which made us late getting there, Sam was in continuos contact with us and totally understanding and left clear and comprehensive instructions where the keys would be, upon arrival we found our Bay window room No.2 spotlessly clean and fresh, with good ammenities, the breakfast was outstanding in quality and choice, the location to the town and beaches was first class. Ive been coming to Tenby for over 50 years, stayed there a few times and will definatly stay here again. We were also lucky to have found some on street free parking just oitside the guest house but theres a carpak 50 yards away. Well done Sam and Julie.

Everything was clean .the staff was most helpful beautiful scenery well happy .I am going back to the same bed and breakfast next year 😉😉

The towels was a bit small for having a shower. They could be a a bit bigger 😞 10 out of 10 for me.

Great location. Nice and quiet but in short and easy walking distance of the beach front and the town. Lovely warm welcome from Sam. Room was lovely and everything was spotlessly clean with the addition of a packet of biscuits which we enjoyed over our 2 night stay. At breakfast we had Sam being our host and Julie in the kitchen who cooked up the most wonderful breakfasts. Plenty of choice available. All served with a slice of good humour! We had a spillage in the room (red wine) and Julie was incredibly kind and good natured about it.

The bed in our room was too hard for my liking. It all comes down to personal preference but a mattress topper would take the edge off.

There’s nothing negative

A well positioned guest house in a quiet area that's just a short walk from the railway station, shops and beach. The room was exceptionally comfortable containing everything and more I could possibly have needed for a long weekend. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. The breakfast was terrific - a fantastic selection of both freshly cooked and cold items. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about our stay was exceptional from the guest house, hosts, location & breakfast was quite simply the best we've had !!! Parking isn't difficult with a local carpark just around the corner at £10 for 24 hours. You might be lucky and get free parking across the street but they're limited.

Convenient location to the beach and only a short walk to the town centre. The hosts are delightful. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. Great options for breakfast. Would love to stay here again!

Sam and Julie are amazing hosts and make you feel very welcome. The accomadation is spotless and has great beds! Julie makes the best Full English not just in Tenby but beats any we have had anywhere! Of course we must not forget Sam, a genial host who likes a bit of banter. Highly recommended and a stone throw from the centre of Tenby.

Mattress was a bit too soft for us, but thats a personal thing, it could have been fine for others.

The friendly approach from the owners of the B&B We woke for breakfast Easter Sunday and all guests had an Easter egg ! Lovely . Good lay out . Able to access sugars coffees etc and toilet rolls if needed . Have an umbrella stand full with umbrellas to borrow on the rainy days . Just little touches …. Clean tidy and the breakfast is Very good !!

There is nothing I didn’t like

The guest house location was very good as it was a walking distance from the town centre, Tenby harbour and beaches. Sam was very friendly and very accommodating 🙂

The bathroom was very small and especially the basin in our room was tiny which made it a bit difficult to use.

Very inviting hosts, the room was great, had everything we would need and was very clean. Amazing breakfast every morning, kept us full most of the day. I found the guest door to come and go worked great and felt very comfortable whenever we arrived or left. We will definitely be coming back.

Has to be the best Guesthouse/B&B in Tenby. Everything about it was fantastic. The hosts Sam and Julie were brilliant and looked after us and made sure we had the best time. Really friendly and nothing too much trouble. Didn't need to ask for anything as the guesthouse was well organised and spotless. Lovely bed really comfortable. All facilities were good quality. Location was perfect. Nice and quiet but minutes away from beach and town. The breakfast was exceptional and of the highest quality. All locally sourced. Definitely return here and have no hesitation recommending it to friends and family. Great value. Thank you Sam and Julie you made our stay special.

A fantastic B&B in a great location, Hosts are so friendly and welcoming, rooms are spotless. Best breakfast in Tenby.

It was lovely and clean , very welcoming, breakfast amazing and hosts very friendly.

Only think the radiators were off in the day and we got soaked in the morning- unable to dry our costs .

We were made to feel welcome by the owners. The room and place was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and served with a smile and light chat. Our stay at Gumfreston enhanced our brief time in Tenby.

There was nothing to dislike, thoroughly enjoyed.

Room and toilet/shower area was clean, beds comfortable and tea/coffee making facilities good. Toilet was crammed into the corner of the bathroom and we could hardly sit and stand back up, any larger people or people with disabilities would find it impossible to sit down and stand up there, the shower was awful to turn on and adjust the temperature the shower head was cheap and kept slipping down the stem, there wasn’t a shelf in the shower to put the soap/shampoo on kept having to bend down to get them off the base of the shower, shower area too small when the doors are closed larger persons would struggle to manoeuvre about in it, lack of shelves around the sink area too put both of our toiletries on and no hooks to put garments on whilst washing/showering, all in all the whole bathroom/shower area is far too small and crammed into too smaller area for purposes required, there was only a small open stand for our clothes to hang on with a dozen hangers, not good enough for 2 people let alone 3, I informed the owner that our coach left early on the last morning and we would miss our breakfast we had payed for but he never offered to do us some sandwiches or whatever instead to compensate for it, I would definitely not recommend this property to anyone, a really disappointing stay for the money that we paid, the attitude of the owner was very sharp and not as friendly as we have experienced in Tenby properties we have stayed in many times before,

Everything about Gumfreston beats expectations - from the friendly welcome through the delicious hearty breakfast, to the quality of the room. Sam and Julie treat everyone like extended family and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Plus it’s less than 5 minutes walk from the beach!

Nothing could have been improved.

Sam and Julie went beyond our expectations, the breakfast was excellent, coffee and tea etc were easily accessible for drinks in the room plus an iron and board and even umbrellas if the weather changed. This guest house is located in nice quiet street and very close to town centre. The place was ultra spotless, clean and comfortable and had no issues sleeping. Nothing is too much trouble for Sam and Julie.

Hosts were fantastic! Breakfast incredible! Location fab! Room was small but perfect for our needs (base point for exploring!) Very clean and comfortable. Easy help yourself for any refills. Parking is on a luck basis but there is a paid car park a short walk away.

Lovely Guest House, exceptionally clean and the host's were fantastic and so very kind and welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast, lots of choice and were very accommodating. The location is great, quiet and we felt safe. I do recommend and would book with the hosts again. Thank you Julie and Sam we enjoyed our stay with you very much 😊

Close to Tenby town center , Hosts Sam and Julie were Exceptional, Very friendly hosts , Room was described as King size , But in reality it was a Double bed in a Rather small bedroom , Bathroom was small , However the Room and the bathroom were both spotlessly clean and comfortable ... The full English breakfast is out of this world , Sam and Julie are Wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome , Sam and Julie actively encourage conversation between themselves and other guests .

Water pressure for the shower was very low and went down as you turned up the temperature, No heating in the morning meant that when having a shower it was very cold in the bathroom and bedroom , Heating is controlled externally .... There's really aren't negatives but something to bare in mind , We would definitely stay again and hope to do so in the future .
