This is the highest of high quality hotels. Amazing location, absolutely incredible views (book the room with a view, ask for a high floor) Staff are exceptional! Facilities are first class, this hotel has it all. Despite its 5 star offerings, value for money remains for London for what you get !

The room was super small for the price £700 a night. We went to the room having booked a twin it was a King had to wait so went to bar this was at 7pm. Waited 30 mins for the drinks and 90mins for a sandwich ridiculous

We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Lancaster. Situated near Hyde Park and the Lancaster Gate Underground Station you can't get any better than this. Upon check-in the hotel staff were welcoming, courteous and professional. They attended to all our needs and were able to accommodate our early arrival to the hotel. Our room was welcoming, clean, and the view was beautiful. Our bellman showed us all the amenities of the room including Nespresso coffee, tea, water and other goodies. He informed us about the multitude of electrical outlets, the safe and showed us both the day and nigh time shades. He ensured we understood how the lighting system worked in the room. The room was incredibly quiet at night. Every morning our friends and family enjoyed a fabulous and tasty breakfast in the Park Restaurant. The options were plentiful that you did not have to eat the same thing every day. Once again the wait staff was attentive and quick to serve. We looked forward to a hearty breakfast every day before we headed out for a long day of sightseeing. As we were on a tour, our days were filled and sometimes our arrival back to the hotel was late into the evening. The Park Lounge was a great place to get food if you were just too tired to go back out and the Cambridge Gin Martini with a lemon twist satisfied my every need along with the Cesar salad with sauteed prawns. The Park Lounge wait staff were attentive and provided top notch customer service. Several of us would meet later in the evening and just visit in the lounge on comfy couches and shared our daily tourist notes. We also had the pleasure of eating at Nipa Thai. Fantastic food, wonderful wait staff, and a great place to have a delicious thai dinner. Highly recommend. The Royal Lancaster will be the place I stay every time I am in London.

Staff behavior

I have recently enjoyed my third stay at this wonderful hotel. Previously I have stayed solo for business and with my teenager for leisure - this time I went with my husband. From the moment you get to the door you are greeted by warm smiles and a team who make you feel like they really care. The reception area is so bright and spacious, with lots of areas to sit and wait and watch the world go by. This time I had a deluxe view room on the 14th floor - and what a great view it was by day and night. In room amenities are lovely, with White Company toiletries and a nespresso machine. I am always particularly pleased by the drawer of glassware and the empty fridge you can fill with your own items. Breakfast overlooking Hyde park is a real highlight - one day we ate from the buffet, which is diverse and extensive, the next we ordered off the menu - all items were top class and a mention must be made of the breakfast service manager who took great care to greet everyone and ensure everything was running smoothly. The front of house team are a real credit to the hotel - thoughtful and humorous too. A special thank you to Maggie who was really helpful in making my short notice booking ☺️

Amazing stay, the absolute best service and cannot thank Doreen in guest services enough for all the time and effort she put into making my birthday stay unforgettable. The hotel is amazing. The rooms are so clean and tidy. The bathrooms are amazing. The bath itself is so lovely and deep. The shower is powerful, even on the 18th floor! The beds are super comfortable and the pillows are so good. Breakfast was probably the best part. I've never seen a breakfast buffet that huge or that varied before. An absolute must is their homemade granola with the honey from their own bees on the roof. And the chicken dumplings for breakfast are not to be missed. We ate at Nipa Thai during our stay too and that was also absolutely fantastic, as well as the Hyde Cafe. All the food and drink places at the hotel are amazing and should not be missed if you can help it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Royal Lancaster London while celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it truly became an experience we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, the accommodation was extremely comfortable, and every detail made our stay feel special. What impressed us most, however, was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. We genuinely felt welcomed and looked after throughout our entire stay. A very special thank you to Vitalii at Reception, who went above and beyond to assist us. His kindness, attention to detail and genuine hospitality made such a difference to our anniversary celebration. He made us feel truly valued as guests and helped turn an already beautiful stay into something very memorable. The level of service at the Royal Lancaster is outstanding, yet it still feels warm and personal. We left with wonderful memories of our anniversary and will certainly remember this stay for many years to come. Thank you to Vitalii and the entire Royal Lancaster team for making our celebration so special. We would happily return and highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone visiting London. ❤️

Amazing staff; amazing facilities; amazing location! An absolute favourite

We came down for my husbands birthday weekend and had the most amazing stay. Every single member of staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. They will all go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and looked after. The attention to every tiny detail is so thoughtfully done it really is a very special place. We went home feeling thoroughly spoilt and completely relaxed and longing to return again soon. It is the only place we would stay in London!

Fantastic hotel - right from the warm welcome from reception (Vitalli) to the beautiful view from the room. The bath shower water pressure was very satisfying. The location is very convenient whether you want to walk at Hyde Park or travel through Paddington station. Will like to come back again.

The greeting upon arrival was very professional and pleasant. The room was comfortable and supplied everyday. The meals that we had at the hotel restaurant were very good. I will recommend this hotel in the future.

In July we stayed a week in a suite. The location of the hotel is great, with both tube (Lancaster Gate) and mainline (Paddington) stations nearby. We booked nine months in advance but after arriving at midday were informed that the suite would not be available until late afternoon. We were given a holding room in the meantime. The suite was a good size with an excellent bathroom, but the hard sofas were uncomfortable. On our second last day we found out that cushions could be provided if requested! These should be provided as standard. The two dining rooms are very good; there was a good choice of food at breakfast, but the eating area was frequently crowded with cruise passengers. The best feature of the hotel is the warmth and enthusiasm of the staff. We were overcharged the quoted price for our car to the airport, which the hotel subsequently refunded. I suspect the hotel operates more smoothly in less busy months,

Visited here with two friends for Afternoon Tea. We had a nice few hours here, the staff were very friendly and overall the food was good but some points to consider which i wasnt so happy about. 1) The toilets were not clean 2) We were charged £14 for two bottles of water, the first one yes but we never asked for a second bottle it was just bought, poured and charged for didnt realise until we got the bill. 3) The cakes were not the best, i have visited quite a few 5* hotels for afternoon tea and these fell well below par I guess you get what you pay for and this afternoon tea was half the price of other hotels i have visited. The sandwiches and scones were excellent, just need improvement on the cakes with flavourings etc.

The hotel is very nice. The breakfast is very good. Staff were wonderful accommodating my gluten free needs. Scheduled the British Afternoon Tea and Tiana was excellent. The gluten free items were delicious.

We absolutely love staying at the Royal Lancaster. We stayed there a few times Doreen is the absolute best. All the staff are very professional and make you feel right at home. The location is fabulous right by Hyde Park. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

This is our fourth stay at the hotel and we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. From start to finish our experience was first class. The service received and attention to detail were exceptional. We are already making plans to return.

It's the staff that make this hotel so special. Nothing was too much trouble. Mak upgraded our room as it was our wedding anniversary and we had some special cakes delivered to our room. The view from the window into the park and towards the London skyline was phenomenal. Wow!

Every one was very nice and helpful except one concier name Dan was not very helpful All other people were amazing and very caring. One suggestion for the breakfast area is when wiping the table please do use some spray to wipe the table

The Hotel is looking absolutely fantastic and without exception, every Team member offers warmth and efficiency at every touch point. Simply a top drawer experience, which feels like a “home from home”. The cuisine throughout, was absolutely top notch as usual. The breakfast service was first class and extremely attentive, with a superb buffet selection from around the world. Our first experience of Nipa Thai for Dinner was just brilliant, from the lovely staff to the superb menu variety and execution. I can’t believe that I haven’t tried in more than 30 years staying at the Hotel.............

اجواء الفندق جميلة وهادئه و الموظفين ودودين ومتعاونين كذلك اللوبي وسيع ومريح وكان الحجز غرفتين متصله والغرف نظيفه ولكن الحجم شوي صغيره وتكييف بارد وتم وضع شطاف في الحمام من قبل اداره الفندق وخدمة تنظيف الغرفه ممتازه وبشكل يومي والمصاعد متوفره ومافي عليها زحمه وفيها نظام الدخول بالبطاقه الموقع ممتاز وقريب من جميع الخدمات وخصوصا حديقة : Hyde Park

السعر مرتفع جدا والستارة لاتحجب الصوره بشكل كامل

فعليا لا يوجد شي ملحوظ يمكن فقط الافطار يحتاج يكون هناك خيارات افضل . كذلك التامين 500 باوند .

لم يعجبني ان الغرف كانت ناقصه امور مهمه مثل الكوفي مشين والمكواة عطلانه لمده يومين وللاسف حين بلغتهم بالامر ردوا علينا ان هذه لاتشمل الغرفه المحجوزه فابلغتهم انني حجزت الغرفتين نفس النوع والمميزات فيفرض انهم مشمولين بالغرفه وخصوصا ان الغرفه الاخرى فيها هذه الامور الامر الاخر عدم السرعه والتنظيف رغم تعليق العلامه للتنظيف احيانا ينسون ذلك والامر الذي فاجاني ان طلب زياده من الماء المجاني قالوا يكون مقابل دفع ثمن 😳 وغير ذلك رغم انني من زبائن الفندق السابقين لم يحرصوا على اعطائنا اي تفضيل حتى لو السماح بتناول مثلا الافطار وهو امر يعمله كثير من الفنادق الخمس نجوم لنا كنوع من الترحيب لاننا نكرر الزيارات وللعلم انا اسكن الفنادق رغم ان لي سكني الخاص بلندن ولكن احيان احب التغير مع العلم انني جتى ابني حين شهر العسل حجزت له نفس الفندق لمده عشرايام وللامانه الان بعد هذه الزياره لا اعلم هل كانت اقامتهم فيه مريحه ام حصل معهم مثل ماحصل معي الان 😔

I was ignored initially and repeatedly received wrong orders till I spoke up to the staff and demanded noting down orders for accuracy. Luckily staff recognized me everytime i came back for breakfast or lunch and made sure to bring the right orders with compliments

Stayed for a BST concert in Hyde Park and this was the perfect location for that. Wonderful hotel, beautifully appointed but what really elevated the stay was the staff - so warm and friendly.
