エリザベスラインの出口から徒歩5分程度。看板がないのでわかりにくいが、TownHouseの一角をホテルとして利用している。静かな環境。設備も問題なし。無料の水も毎日供給された。朝食もおいしかった。

ホテル入口、内部に数段の段差があり、トランクを運ぶのが多少不便。朝食メニューに変化がなかった。

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Lage ist perfekt.

Breakfast was good, it had a good selection and variety ranging from hash browns, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, toast and cereals etc. The room was very small, but as a solo traveller, it was perfect for what I needed - the bed was surprisingly very comfortable. The location was great! It is close to Hyde park and Paddington station. Rooms were cleaned everday and had no issues. Staff were all very friendly!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und zentral in Paddington gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man unzählige Geschäfte, Restaurants und Cafés sowie die U-Bahn, sodass man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem erreichen kann. Das Hotel ist natürlich etwas älter, aber genau das verleiht ihm seinen besonderen Charme. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft aufgrund der tollen Lage und der angenehmen Atmosphäre jederzeit wieder wählen.

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They had an umbrella on offer when it was rainy, allowed me to switch rooms our of the basement without any discussion and were helpful when I had trouble with adjusting the airco. Breakfast was tasty, and fresh fruit and vegetables were on offer. No personalised eggs available, but there were English breakfast items, yoghurt/cereal items and bread/pastries. The 'club room' I was in had a decent size comfortable shower and very good bed. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walking from Paddington station and Hyde Park, with Santander rental bikes available around the corner.

They upgraded us to a larger room and all snacks and drinks were complimentary. The Indian restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and the doorman made you feel welcome

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and had no reason to expect this kind of treatment. This time, despite booking my room more than three months in advance, I was told upon arrival that my room was unavailable because it needed repairs. Instead of providing the room I had reserved, the hotel relocated me to another property in the same group, Inhabit Queens Garden, around 300 metres away. I had two very heavy suitcases and a carry-on, so the hotel offered to arrange a taxi. I waited for nearly 30 minutes, but the taxi never arrived. With a dinner appointment and a concert to attend, I eventually had to walk to the other hotel carrying all my luggage. The hotel manager eventually accompanied me, which I appreciate, but this does not change the fact that the situation was completely unacceptable and poorly handled. The replacement room was also lacking basic facilities I would reasonably expect: there was no refrigerator and no microwave. The safe was placed underneath the bed and was so difficult to access that I had to sit on the floor and bend down just to use it. What I found most troubling was that, while I was waiting for the taxi, I watched several other guests arrive and check in at the original hotel. They were given rooms while I was being sent to another property. This raises a very obvious question: if rooms were available, why was I relocated after having made my reservation more than three months in advance? I cannot say for certain what happened, but the situation certainly made me question whether the hotel had overbooked and decided to relocate my reservation. As a returning guest, I expected much better communication, planning and consideration. Instead, I arrived with a confirmed reservation and ended up being inconvenienced, relocated, left waiting for transportation that never arrived, and given a room with fewer facilities. 1-star is not about the inconvenience of walking 300 metres. It is about how the entire situation was handled.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Location was perfect for our needs and proximity to Paddington Station. Great fridge capacity and storage space with safe.

I was initially given a room in the basement which was a no no coming from tropical Nigeria where the sun shines everyday 365 days. I asked for a change to an upper floor.

Von diesem Hotel in ruhiger Lage in Paddington sind mehrere U-Bahnstation in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und bietet komfortable Zimmer mit modernen Bädern. Es gibt ein gutes typisches English Breakfast und abends bietet das angeschlosse Restaurant Turmeric Kitchen gute indische Küche zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich. Mein besonderer Dank geht an die Rezeptionisten Conor und Humayra, die ganz besonders hilfsbereit waren.

Bedroom carpet was looking worse for wear as was the seating in the restaurant. Restaurant seating was uncomfortable and stained.

The staff was very helpful with advising us on public transportation to Bletchley Park. The restaurant for dinner was exceptional.

Having breakfast earlier on the weekends would help us get to where we needed to be.

Ontbijt was genoeg en gevarieerd. Leuke verrassing met de extra snacks en drankjes in de kamer. Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Toen het toilet verstopt leek te zijn, kwamen ze binnen 10 minuten om het te maken.

Voor een Clubkamer vond ik 'm best krap. Er zijn dus andere kamers met dezelfde naam (Clubkamer) die veel groter zijn!

Das Ambiente der Zimmer war einzigartig. Eine Treppe im Zimmer gibt es selten. Die U-Bahn war ganz in der Nähe und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Camera molto piccola ma in linea con gli standard londinesi. Letto matrimoniale alla francese molto piccolo, se sei più alto di 185 cm dormi con i piedi di fuori. Rapporto qualità-prezzo non proprio eccezionale.

A limpeza durante a estadia é ruim, e a tv não é smart. Voce fica só com os canais ingleses.

Die Lage ist 1A, nur ein paar Schritte zur Paddington-Station. Unser Zimmer, Clubroom (15 qm), war wunderbar eingerichtet und das Bad war sehr schön. Frühstück: für uns was absolut ausreichend, was geboten wurde. Man kann beim Personal auch ein Omelett oder Spiegeleier bestellen, wenn man keine Standardrühreier mag.

Nichts. Wenn ich wirklich etwas finden sollte, was ich bemängeln könnte, dann das, daß man eine Klobürste erst auf Anfrage bekommt und sie nicht automatisch im Bad ist. Zahnputzbecher sind in England scheinbar auch nicht Standard. Das sind aber Kleinigkeiten, die unbedeutend sind.

Frühstück: ausreichend, etwas Abwechslung wäre schön Personal: freundlich und bemüht

Great location for easy access to all the main stations. We stopped for Wembley concert but also within easy walking distance to all the major museums, Hyde Park and Kensington gardens. Some great eateries nearby too.

Great location, just a short walk from Paddington. Super friendly staff and great breakfast on offer in the morning.

The room was quite small. Couldn’t walk past the bottom of the bed meaning one of you had to climb over the other!

L'ensemble de l'hôtel était très propre et agréable à vivre. Le personnel était bien à l'écoute et aimable. Le matelas était très confortable.

Bardzo pozytywnie oceniam obsługę hotelu. Zarówno personel recepcji, jak i restauracji był bardzo miły i pomocny, a dodatkowym atutem były darmowe owoce oraz mini barek z napojami i słodyczami dostępny dla gości. Na duży plus zasługuje również świetna lokalizacja. Trochę żałuję, że nie udało mi się skorzystać ze strefy wellness, ale mam nadzieję nadrobić to podczas kolejnej wizyty.

Pobyt oceniam umiarkowanie pozytywnie. Największym minusem był check-in. Zgodnie z informacją pokój miał być dostępny od 15:00, my odebraliśmy kartę o 16:15, a , po wejściu zastaliśmy zaskoczoną panią sprzątającą, która dopiero rozpoczynała przygotowanie pokoju. W ramach rekompensaty poprosiłem o napój w restauracji na czas oczekiwania, jednak przy wymeldowaniu próbowano doliczyć go do rachunku. Tak szczerze to przy 5 gwaizdkwym hotelu spodziewałbym się lepszej czystości, a nie plamy na ścianach w prysznicu i włosy na podłodze - dobrze ze specjalnie na to nie jestem wyczulony. Sam pokój spełnił nasze oczekiwania. Łóżko o szerokości 140 cm było nieco małe dla dwóch osób, ale na dwie noce okazało się wystarczające. Materac był już lekko wysłużony, choć nadal zapewniał akceptowalny komfort snu. Śniadania były poprawne. Wybór mógłby być nieco większy, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o pieczywo, którego dostępne były tylko dwa rodzaje. Kawa była serwowana z przelewu, ale biorąc pod uwagę, że to typowe angielskie śniadanie, nie można marudzić:)

Lovely hotel, small and cozy!! Wonderful staff!! Everyone was polite, smiling, and eager to help with whatever was needed. Our room , on 4th floor, was small but exceptionally clean—since they cleaned it every day. The breakfast room fully organized, and there were a lot of tasty food to power up your morning!! The area is extremely convenient, as there are many bus stops nearby and the central Paddington station is just a two-minute walk away. It was a pleasure staying at Montcalm Chilworth Townhouse hotel, and we are looking forward staying there again.

Really Lovely hotel! Nice, clean, modern rooms and bathrooms. As always in hotels the shower heads could do with a descale so the water doesn't go off in all directions but overall a really lovely place, great location 5 min walk from paddington station and really friendly lovely staff.

Breakfast could definitely be improved upon with selection and allergen friendly options. In our group of 4 we have a celiac and one person with a dairy allergy and there was VERY limited choice.

Excellent hotel. Brilliant location with mins walk to tube and railway station. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room immaculately clean, all facilities you need. Really good breakfast selection and we ate in the restaurant which was very reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Wir hatten wohl das schlechteste Zimmer des Hotels. Es lag im Souterrain, hatte kein Tageslicht und müffelte feucht. Es lag unter der Holztreppe, sodass man jeden Schritt der Leute hörte, die sie benutzten. Auf Nachfrage hiess es, dass kein anderes Zimmer mehr frei sei. Das Zimmer war zwar sauber und die Matratze bequem, Einstieg ins Bett war aber nurvon einer Seite möglich, d.h. über den Partner klettern. Die Buchung erfolgte schon Wochen im voraus, aber es gab keinerlei Hinweise auf diese Umstände. Wir hatten lediglich mit einem kleinen, kompakten Zimmer gerechnet.

Great location for transport and local amenities. Friendly and welcoming staff. My companion and I were located close rooms, as requested. The cleanliness was to a high standard, particularly the batroom.

I was located at level 1 room 108 at the end of the corridor next to the stairwell, meaning footfall traffic could be heard but not impactful on my stay. It would be tight for two people to share but ok for 1-2 days.

The staff and facilities were excellent. While the compact room was super tiny, it was well designed and comfortable. And, the Indian restaurant Turmeric is not to be missed. The food is awesome and our server Nisha was terrific. Would definitely come back.

Fab location a few minutes walk from Paddington Station and what I felt was a safe area when my daughter and I were returning late from a concert. Smaller room but expected for London and it was comfortable. Great shower pressure as well. The staff were lovely and welcoming and we would stay here again.

The hotel informed of relocation to another hotel, while neither hotels did not respond to any phone calls nor to the request by Booking.com customer service. Location is great and it’s usually just me and my mum that visit, we always feel safe in Paddington especially if we get back quite late.

Das Hotel befindet sich in sehr zentraler Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof London Paddington und bietet eine hervorragende Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz. Auch der Flughafen London Heathrow ist direkt und ohne Umsteigen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Trotz der zentralen und belebten Lage war die Umgebung angenehm ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar überschaubar, aber völlig ausreichend und von guter Qualität. Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder!

変換プラグを忘れたのですが、フロントが貸してくれました。当日に携帯の充電ができて、とても助かりました。ドアの開け閉めの音は少ししますが、基本的に静かなエリア・お部屋でした。

建築設備がやや古いです。スイッチがうまく調光できなかったりします。また、ベッドは私にとって柔らか過ぎて寝づらかったと思います。柔らかいのが好みの人もいるかもしれませんが...

I can tell you that this was my 5th stay at the Montcalm Chilworth Townhouse. So I can really testify to the friendliness of the staff, the rooms are really nice. All bathrooms in the rooms I had so far were great, really new and clean - which to me is always an important feature when it comes to hotels.. Yes, a single room is small - but that is London for you. This time I really appreciated the kind and warm welcome from Connor and Peter. Again, in all those many stays I have not once experienced a staff member who was not friendly and kind. Looking forward to my next stay with you!

The place is great. Well located, with very kind and helpful stuff and provides all you need for a good business trip. It is also well located. I recommend it.

The breakfast wasn't the best. I had high expectations as I had stayed at other Montcalm locations in London but this one was a bit below the other hotels from the same group I had visited. It wasn't bad, just not great.

All the staff were very polite and helpful. Conor greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcomed! Close to Paddington station and other attractions within walking distance; felt safe to walk around neighborhood. Didn’t get to try it, but the hotel has a spa. Heated bathroom floors was a wonderful surprise!

Carpet in room, as I suffer from allergies. The elevator wait times, we ended up taking the stairs multiple times. Shower size - very tight space.

Although I booked 4 months earlier & pre-paid, when I arrived to check-in I was told my room was no longer available due to 'unforseen circumstances' & I must go to a 'sister property' instead. Montcalm emailed this info less than 3 hours prior to check-in but I didn't know because I was on a long haul international flight. I was very tired & upset because I had no internet access & did not know the name of the 'sister property', its location or my room type. I'm an older woman, solo traveller & I'd never been to the UK before. The staff weren't understanding & simply continued to check-in other guests. I thought my booking had been bumped & I had no idea whether the substitute accommodation would be of the same standard as I'd booked & paid for. Initially I was offered a taxi transfer but later told to walk. I had a melt-down in reception & felt ashamed & humiliated. I'm still upset by what occurred. I loathe Montcalm & their staff.
