I was surprised that the hotel charges $75 (~3800 Egypt pounds) for a ride to the airport, where i took taxi (Uber) for only 459 Egyption pound ?!?! I stayed four days, and only have one day breakfast because of the “non exceptable” behavior of staff

Staff are very polite and helpful with all matters of importance. The views from the rooms and nice. Rooms are very specious and beds are comfortable. Great amenities.

Because it’s a smoking/ non-smoking hotel, as a non-smoker myself, I could smell smoke everywhere even in the non-smoking room I booked. The room is also definitely showing its age with the carpets and upholstery

L’accueil a été exceptionnel. Je tiens particulièrement à remercier Mohamed Ramadan, une personne extraordinaire, très attentionnée et professionnelle. Toute l’équipe était vraiment aux petits soins et a contribué à rendre notre séjour très agréable. Le personnel est chaleureux, disponible et à l’écoute.

Le principal point négatif a été le bruit du voisinage pendant la nuit, avec l’impression d’avoir une discothèque juste à côté, ce qui a rendu le sommeil difficile. J’ai également trouvé que certains équipements de l’hôtel étaient un peu vieillissants et mériteraient d’être rénovés

The swimming pool needs an ungraded it’s quite old , small and was overcrowded for the size of the hotel . Also the entrance is not disability friendly at all.

Dès que l’on entre dans l’hôtel, on a l’impression d’être transporté dans un univers magnifique, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Nil. Admirer le coucher du soleil depuis la chambre était tout simplement magique. Le petit-déjeuner fait partie des meilleurs et des plus délicieux que j’aie jamais goûtés. On y trouve absolument tout ce que l’on peut imaginer. Mon mari séjourne toujours dans cet hôtel et, à mon tour, j’en suis complètement tombée sous le charme. Le service est excellent et le personnel est vraiment adorable, attentionné et professionnel.

Loved the view and location, staff, food and outdoors setup

The hotel entrance and overall area could look much nicer if all the hotels come together to uplift the overall are surroundings and cleanses.

My room had a wonderful view of the Nile. The breakfast offerings were excellent! The staff was professional and responsive.

La piscine est beaucoup trop petite pour le prix payé dans l’établissement , c’est très difficile de trouver une place dans un transats il y en a pas assez et pour finir très déçus que l’accès à la piscine intérieur soit payante

First and before everything, the staff: decent well-trained and know how to accommodate to every guest’s needs with a smile on the face. Starting from Tarek in the reception and Mariam ( I believe from guest relations) and every single staff member in the spa and pool area. Not to forget the restaurant staff. Then comes the location, the cleanliness, the amazing view. We were on a staycation celebrating our anniversary, and got an upgrade for a suit with an access to the lounge (where staff were as amazing as the rest of the hotel). It was a short stay that they managed to make it memorable

Everything is great and the effort to make it updated and well maintained is obvious. The only downside was the overcrowd in the pool area that is very limited l, and on a national holiday it was hard to accommodate all guests at once especially that the day use guests kept on showing. Otherwise everything was great

اطلاله مميزه في وسط القاهره نيل بالكامل جلسه حلوة بس زحمه كتير بس علي العموم تعامل راقي واحترافي بدايه من سامي حتي محمد رمضان كل الشكر والاحترام وما قصرو نهائيا

The lights in the room were not working, it was very noisy outside, the lifts were very slow

تجربة رائعة ومميزة في فندق سوفيتيل القاهرة النيل الجزيرة. من لحظة الوصول وحتى المغادرة كانت الخدمة راقية، والاهتمام بالتفاصيل واضح، والتعامل من جميع الموظفين في قمة الاحترافية والاحترام. وأخص بالشكر والتقدير الأستاذ عواد على حسن تعامله واهتمامه وحرصه الدائم على راحتنا، وكذلك الأستاذ كريم، المدير المناوب، على احترافيته وتعاونه وسرعة استجابته واهتمامه الشخصي براحة النزلاء. وجود أشخاص بهذا المستوى من الأخلاق والاحترافية يجعل تجربة الإقامة أجمل ويعكس صورة ممتازة عن الفندق وإدارته

Road access to hotel Concierge officers at hotel lobby need proper training. When I asked to rent a car from out side the hotel she refused to help finding car rental options from the internet!!!

لم يعجبني الدخول والخروج البوابات والتفتيش سيء ومزعج والمكان ضيق وانتظار واللوبي بانتظار السيارة جدا صغير وكذلك جهاز تفتيش يعني عمليه الدخول والخروج مزعجة نوعا ما

Zimmer und Ausstattung eher alt. Personal nicht übermässig freundlich. Anonyme Atmosphäre. Lage am Nil ist schön, aber nicht wirklich praktisch (da gute Restaurants usw. nicht in dieser Gegend sind). Umgebung eher laut (Partyboote auf dem Nil spielen laute Musik bis frühmorgens).

Really good experience here at the hotel. Breakfast was stunning as you can sit right next to the Nile River. Great Egyptian Falafel and Ful. Special thanks to Ahmed who made me and my Dad feel very welcome and accommodated.

The manager in the hotel’s coffee shop was rude and not friendly

My stay at this hotel was disappointing for several reasons. The room was very small, and the curtains did not block the sunlight properly, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. In addition, the room had very poor sound insulation, and I could clearly hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms. The bathroom was extremely small, to the point that it was difficult to enter and close the door at the same time. The elevators were extremely slow. It sometimes took around ten minutes just for the elevator doors to open, and another five minutes to reach the 22nd floor from the ground floor. In addition, the elevators were constantly dirty, with paper tissues scattered across the floor. Smoking was common throughout the hotel, and the smell of smoke could be noticed in many areas. Most of the hotel’s guests were teenagers and young people, and in my opinion, the hotel is not suitable for families looking for a quiet and comfortable stay.

once you reach the guest floors, there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hallways, and the ventilation is very poor.

I told him what you’re doing with my phone, he said since your stay is good I’ll just go ahead and do excellent rating!! That’s extremely rude, unnecessary and not professional at all

My stay at Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable hotel experiences I have had in Cairo. From the moment of arrival until departure, the level of hospitality, service, and attention to detail was outstanding. The hotel has a fantastic location with breathtaking views over the Nile. Staying on the 22nd floor made the experience even more special, with a beautiful panoramic view of Cairo and the Nile, and the incredible sight of the Pyramids in the distance. A very special thank you and appreciation goes to Mr. Samer, the Hotel Manager, for his personal attention, genuine care for the guests, and continuous follow-up on every detail. This level of leadership and dedication is clearly reflected throughout the hotel and makes guests feel genuinely valued and welcomed. One of the highlights of my stay was the Club Millésime on the 16th floor. The service and hospitality were truly exceptional. My sincere thanks and appreciation go to Zekra, Abdullah, Mahmoud Maghawry, Doaa Yehia, Tamer El Sayed, Samer Hussien, and Sami for their warm welcome, constant smiles, professionalism, kindness, and genuine attention to every guest. They made every visit to the Club a wonderful experience, and their outstanding hospitality was one of the main reasons my stay became so memorable. I would also like to give special recognition to the Housekeeping team for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness, organization, and attention to every detail. The room was always perfectly maintained, and the team demonstrated great professionalism, politeness, respect, and responsiveness throughout the stay.
