Everything was great especially the breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Cairo. A real highlight was the Club Lounge access, which we booked separately and which I would highly recommend. The combination of warm hospitality, excellent service and fantastic views makes it a perfect place to relax in the evening after a full day of sightseeing. Breakfast at Rawi on the second floor was another highlight, with a very good selection of local Egyptian dishes – exactly what I look for when visiting a country and wanting to experience its cuisine. The location is excellent. Giza, the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum are easily accessible, while you can simply walk across the bridge to Zamalek and central Cairo. It is also a very convenient starting point for exploring other parts of the city, including Old Cairo and the Hanging Church. Finally, I would highly recommend a North Tower room with a balcony. Sitting outside overlooking Cairo and the Nile, especially in the evening, was an experience in itself.

My only reservation is something I experienced more generally in Egypt rather than specifically at the Sheraton: the strong tipping culture. At times, the expectation of a tip can become too prominent and unfortunately takes away from the otherwise exceptional Egyptian hospitality. A more discreet approach would allow the genuine warmth and friendliness to shine through without leaving guests wondering whether every gesture comes with an expectation attached.

The entire experience met our five-star expectations, highlighted by a stunning view of the Nile. Special thanks to the wonderful staff, with a special shoutout to Malak, Maria, and Ahmed Yousif at the gym for their exceptional service. (Apologies if I misspelled or missed any names from the amazing team!

Comfortable room and VIP club food and environment was excellent

In the morning we called reception to ask if we could book transport to airport and how much it would cost and was told it would be arranged and it was included in our booking however, when we came down after breakfast nothing had been arranged and was told it's not included and we had to arrange it ourselves resulting in us scrambling to get transport in time not to miss our flight. The manager did come down and try to speed things up but could have just provided the transport to save us the stress as it was the staff that caused the issue.we would suggest having a receptionist that understands English better to avoid issues such as this.

Property doesn’t respond to messages after taking double pre authorisation charge

Good view of Nile. Center in location

Couldn’t able to sleep because of the loud sound coming from outside at night, room is not sound proof, no toiletries available at bathroom, no bathrobe was provided even after requesting for several times.

L’emplacement

The staff seems to be trained to provide lip service and false promises, while the hotel fails to offer basic amenities. This was evident from the small, severely overcrowded elevators and a broken coffee maker in my room. Also, it took 1.5 hours and an escalation to the hotel manager just to get their broken printer fixed so I could print a few pages. Most alarmingly, when I was locked out of my room, the staff ignored my request for support until I threatened to contact the Egyptian Tourism Police. Sheraton Cairo should not be categorized as a standard premium hotel, as it heavily prioritizes a nightlife-centric atmosphere all day to cater to a specific wealthy demographic. Based on conversations with both guests and staff, there is a widespread awareness of highly inappropriate, illicit adult activities taking place openly within this 5-star property. Additionally, the hotel exploits female workers by making them wear revealing uniforms that completely contradict local cultural norms, religious values, and fundamental labor rights.

Everything was excellent from the room service to the food. Very pleased and would highly recommend to everybody. Rawi dinner Abdelrahman Mohamed was our service assistant, such a professional and kind man🙏

Really good dinner at &more Sheraton, in particular thanks to Osama

Very clean and very modern design Really the best hotel in all Egypt

I like everything.Everything is perfect

Amazing experience at the hotel and especially the restaurant. We were welcomed at the restaurant by Jimmy who took great care of us and was a very nice, smiling and professional person. Special shout out also to chef Magdy Saber who gave us great tips on the delicious food and was always there to help us. These people made our experience unforgettable!
