They over charged us.

The property was easy to navigate. It was clean the room was very nice and the bed was comfortable.

The shower was way too small.

Really liked the helpful and friendly behaviour of the staff at front desk, vast array of delicious breakfast and the wonderful ambience of the space. Rooms are kept clean which is always nice for a comfortable stay.

One of the breakfast area staff grabbed a jam jar from my table to hand off for takeaway to their exclusive client next table. He could have picked one from an empty table. That felt bad.

Cleanliness could be better - there were hairs in the shower that definitely weren't mine, since I have a buzz cut...

Kiara and Sophia at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. This was much appreciated since we stayed there because our flight out of O’Hare had been canceled. Jesse, the waiter was also very friendly and helpful.

I realize it was a very busy night but it was a long wait for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel.

Gute Anbindung an die Stadtbahn in Zentrum von Chicago (ca. 10min Fußweg); sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst; großer Parkplatz vorhanden; Transfer zum Hotel mittels Shuttlebus vom Hotel oder 1 Station mit der Stadtbahn (Blue Line).

Estuvo bien, todo lo único que siento y satisfacción por parte de Booking y de los hoteles es el saldo que ellos retienen o lo quedan de mis tarjetas de crédito, la cual todavía no se ve reflejado y he tratado de comunicarme con Booking, he mandado bueno cantidad de notas, pero nada, yo necesito simplemente que me solucionen eso

Large hotel, great lobby, feels good immediately when you enter. Ok reception and after a quick swipe, room is allocated. Although the door seems small, old and not secure, everything inside is new/renovated. Airport shuttle is much appreciated and the main reason for booking.

Location was good. Train to downtown was very close. And the airport was close enough too. Room was nice and quiet.

Parking was expensive, it should be free for the guests. Also too much walking from parking to our room, it’s a big hotel but there is no pool. The choice of tea wasn’t there. The coffee was limited to one day supply and sugar was missing.

I didn’t really care for the breakfast

We stayed only for one night, but it was very pleasant. The room was large, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms nice and clean. We didn’t get to explore any facilities in the hotel apart from the room.

There was a night light under the beds, which was quite bright and there didn’t seem to be a way to switch if off. We had to block it with some bags. Also, the receptionist during the check-out wasn’t particularly friendly.

Your entire staff: Housekeeping, restaurant, breakfast host, bartender, coffee.snack shop, front desk, doormen, and shuttle drivers, without exception, greeted me and spoke to me kindly. Gotta say, when the exhaustion from traveling sets in, THAT IS GOLD. Thanks to everyone who rewards them for a job well done.

Ok, this is my ONE complaint. The hotel needs NEW SHUTTLE VANS. I can tell, the city has not tended too resurfacing the road in a while. The vans shock absorbers need attention, and the squeaky sounds coming from the windows are so loud. And that's tough when coming from travel, or (in my case) needing to depart very early.

I didn’t get breakfast

I discovered The quick serve store and highly recommend it. They staff there was the friendliest on the property, in addition to the bellman. You will find the food store on the lower floor where are you come in at the main entrance. The room was clean and had nice features.

One of the escalators was out of service, and there was an unbelievably long check-in line when I got there. Some guests took 5 minutes to check in, and I can't imagine why. I think I was checked in in a minute. There was no communication from the hotel staff about the wait, so I am guessing that's a common situation. There was a dirty towel hanging on the door handle of my guest room, and the location required dragging my suitcase up a flight of stairs. The front desk didn't tell me about the little quick serve food store downstairs, and instead told me about food in the bar, which was loud and I was not able to get anyone's attention for service.

I was charged twice for the room. No info at all given at check-in as to when breakfast is, etc. Also I didn't get an invoice at check-out, just an "all set!" I now see on my bank statement that I was charged twice for a 1-night stay. Now I have to jump through those hoops to get my money back for the double-charge. Very disappointing.

There were no signs to guide the guests: the reception was on the second floor but at least I didn’t see a sign for it. The elevator to the second tower was quite a walk away and again, there were no signs. As I went to sleep, I kept hearing people’s discussions (through a vent perhaps) which was a bit interfering to my sleep.

Very friendly front desk reception, with multiple staff available, which meant no waiting for check-in. Fantastic hotel shuttle experience, clean and well maintained facilities, comfortable beds, and nice fluffy towels. There is a vending machine for toiletries, cold meds, etc. The bar's food was well prepared and satisfying after a long day of travel, and the waitstaff was outstanding with fast service.

Minor things...Not enough hooks/towel bars in the bathroom. The food options are limited depending on time of day and occupancy. And, the "down" escalator was out of service, but there were adjacent stairs and elevators. But what really spoiled an almost ideal stay was the motion sensor lights in the bathroom and along the foot of the beds. So disruptive in the middle of the night!! I don't want the lights to be outside my control and it messes up my sleep to be blasted by light visiting the bathroom, then having the adjacent bed lluminated when I laid back down. 👎🏻

We booked 2 rooms with 4 beds, I messaged them that i will be at the hotel at around 1am, when we arived they told me that they don’t have my rooms because hotel is booked. They said that they can give us 2 rooms with 2 beds in total, we were 8 people how can 8 people fit in 2 beds, they told us that because we booked through booking they don’t have to hold our rooms, i said how can it be i paid extra for rooms that have 4 beds. Receptionist told us to speak to the manager in the morning if we have any complaints. Next morning i went to the manager and spoke with her, she told me that she can get us half of our paid money back, i said okey, and asked how should we do this? Should i message booking.com or what? She told me that she personally will issue the refund and i will get it in 10-15 business days. 1 month past by and no response from anyone, i messaged them personally they ignored me, then i messaged booking and they wrote that they will reply in 24h its been a week and there is still no reply… so tell me why did i paid 200€ more for 2 additional bed just to come and be scammed, and later ignored? I totally don’t recommend the hotel and the booking app. The manager told me like 5 times that its very important for them that i would be satisfied. Yeah i see that..

We could not sleep. The noise from the lobby was ridiculously loud all evening and into the early morning hours. The walls are so thin that we heard our neighbors talking, but the worst was the rumble of people and the screams of children in the lobby. Not to mention the emergency button in the elevator that kept being pushed. Plus, we were not told that we were going to have an ADA room. We were not super concerned until we tried to take a shower. The whole floor ended up flooded and was quite dangerous a thing to step onto before we used all the towels we had to soak up the water. There were also so many wi-fi issues that we couldn’t use the internet features on the tv like we wanted. It was also just difficult to get the internet to work well enough because of how bad the wi-fi was. And, lastly, we thought the breakfast restaurant there was a regular restaurant, so we went to eat there, and were told it was a buffet. Ok, that’s fine, but then we paid $55 for two people to have a buffet breakfast. And all there was to choose was instant scrambled eggs, day (or two) old frozen/microwaved breakfast potatoes, bacon, chicken sausage, oatmeal, and rubbery-feeling pancakes. The eggs and potatoes were so gross that we had to ask if there was any fresh ones and the worker there said “the omelets are fresh eggs! You should get an omelet.” Same guy went and tasted the potatoes and returned to our table to let us know that we “were right. They don’t taste good.” The manager gave us a refund, which is good because we didn’t eat more than a few bites of eggs, potatoes, and bacon. I just find it ridiculous to charge $25 a person for food that other hotels have at their complimentary breakfasts. So we appreciated the refund but people should still know that they are charging people for a pathetic breakfast.

We stayed here for a FanExpo, and we had a very nice experience overall. The building is a little old, but enough has been updated in the rooms and the lobby spaces that it still feels like a nice hotel. Moving between the convention center was easy through the skywalk. The combination of price, location, and room quality for a convention hotel is hard to beat.

We had one hiccup: when we arrived in the morning, the hotel's garage was full and I was directed to park in convention overflow parking. I didn't want to leave my car on a surface lot a mile down the road overnight, so I moved it to the garage after we were done at the convention for the day. I didn't want to pay twice for parking, so when I explained the situation at checkout my parking in the hotel garage was thankfully comped. Not a great situation, but if you come here for a convention just be prepared to figure out alternative parking. The hotel should make it right if you ask

everything was great. very comfy feel to the place. I escpecially love the two-bedroom suite. was great for our two families to be together yet have our own spaces.

Everything was awesome except the dresser in our bedroom we pretty scuffed up/chewed up looking. Also, the hallways didn't seem to get vacuumed the whole weekend.

We heard door slamming for multiple hours. We could not fall asleep because of the noise of toilets flushing around us, and the fridge in our room was very loud. We ended up leaving the hotel very early this morning about 3 AM because we cannot fall asleep in the room. I will be emailing the property as well.

Staff attitude constantly needs improvement at this facility. Air finished floors? In handicap rooms? You're just asking for someone to fall. No requests were honored and food options were extremely limited.

My Mother worked at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare as a Secretary in the Engineering Department from 1975 - 1978. I had a 16-hour layover in Chicago and needed an overnight hotel stay. The choice was simple: Stay at the HRO. I hadn't been inside the hotel for nearly 50-years. It's just as I remember, but better. It's been newly renovated and is beautiful. The Staff was very courteous and the room (#3626) was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was incredible with it being served in the restaurant area, directly adjacent to the front desk. The Airport Shuttle runs every 15-minutes which is wonderful.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was nice and conveniently located. I also appreciated the overall facilities and accessibility of the property.

The parking was my biggest disappointment. Paying $45 per day for parking on top of the room rate, even as a hotel guest, felt excessive. I was also disappointed with the level of hospitality from some of the staff. They were not particularly warm or welcoming. Having stayed at many hotels in Asia, where staff are often exceptionally courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, I felt the service here could benefit from stronger hospitality training. For a Hyatt Regency property, I expected a much warmer guest experience.

The front desk guy who checked me in. It was like he hated me for some reason. He acted like I didn’t belong in that hotel. I felt so unwelcome. I’ve been in hotels all over America and many other countries, I have never had an experience like that ever. When I got to the room I stopped myself from canceling the room and go somewhere else. I never got his name but he was a black man with a balding head. I felt even worse because I’m a black man. Worst experience ever. I would never recommend your hotel to anyone if I know you have staff like that. That guy was the worse and he did not hold back on his disgusting behavior towards me.

Breakfast option was good.

Room layout was poor, felt cornered. Ice machines wasn't working. the toiletteries requested were of very low quality.

We only ate the breakfast buffet, but it was excellent! Very nice selections and excellent service.

The second night we were there there was some kind of party in the suite next door. It kept us awake. At approximately 1:30 am I called the front desk to complain. Security came up to tell them to stop. Sadly, they did not and I called again at 2:30. I don’t believe that security even came this time and they never stopped until 3:30 am. Lost a lot of sleep. The hotel , gratefully, took $50 off the bill.
