It was very nice and elegant! Loved the elevators!
I don’t think there was anything I did not like!
We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Each employee we interacted with provided excellent & friendly service…the front desk at check-in, our waiter at breakfast, and CJ at valet upon departure. We really enjoyed this quick trip away and plan to return!
We came for the parade and checked in under the pride code, and when we arrive, no one let us know that all of the events that was marketed for the hotel were canceled, and even after the parade, there was nowhere for us to sit in Congregate, we went to the pool and we were overwhelmed with the large presence of large roaches, running all over everywhere around the pool and on anything That you sit down on the ground
Very organized and clean environment. Receptionist were very helpful and nice.
Honestly I didn’t dislike anything about the property.
A great downtown Houston location. Hotel was clean, bright, well maintained. Most important the staff was attentive, professional and friendly.
Beautiful hotel, amazing lobby, and super modern clean rooms! this is the best location if you have functions downtown, like concerts, conventions, and meetings As usual, Mr. Adrian (front desk) always takes care of my family, friends and me. I was so happy to be able to finally meet him face-to-face for the first time! Also, Mr. Felix / Gregory at the restaurant took amazing care of my daughter and her friends’ breakfast. They had gone to a concert the night before and woke up very close to 10 o’clock when the breakfast shuts down. He was able to put together some boxes of food for their breakfast. That was very thoughtful and we appreciate it very much! Also Ms. Zaira Koontz made sure that our room made the most of my Globalist benefits. She was very kind and generous. We will be back in a few weeks and we can’t wait to return.
Absolutely an amazing experience! Enjoyed every bit of our trip! Everyone made us feel safe and welcomed. Yahya was extremely helpful and so kind.
Service was great. Food so so except for Einstein bagels. 24/7. Valet parking good. Special thanks to Mike Fahyci and partner this morning Aug 8 loading our truck in valet parking
The software for managing reservations is horrible. We were here for conference early August. I changed my number of stay nights on line BEFORE the conference, at checkin they had no record. Changed it AGAIN at check in, looked at my invoice and it still had extra night. A colleague had the hotel say she did not have reservation and she booked two Months before. Then she tried to get room, none available. She went to another hotel, got a room. Then Hyatt tried to charge her for a room they did not have. If you arrive on a Sunday, nothing open even mid day and afternoon. Nothing open around hotel either, bring a lunch or dinner with you.
Love this hotel for the location and excellent staff. We really enjoyed the mural photos. Special thanks to CJ with the valet service, I think that’s the fastest we have ever had our car brought out. He was also very friendly and professional. The breakfast is very good and has improved since our last visit. As Globalists we received a room upgrade which is always nice. We find this location an excellent value.
Cj was amazing great customer service
Beautiful hotel! Very friendly service! Love the whole persona! CJ in valet was awesome!
Cj was the best! & hotel was great.
The hotel was beautiful and valet parking was perfect CJ was excellent and had perfect service
The service was great, the room was amazing and even CJ was great. He made my valet parking experience super easy, I will be coming back!
The stay was simple, short, and sweet.
Very professional will use again
Loved the experience. Valet was phenomenal
This was the most wonderful, wonderful, wonderful place to be thank you so much for the hospitality. The Weight staff, the staff in the housekeeper the maintenance the bail Man all of the staff was awesome. The front line was great. Only thing is the elevator fix y’all elevators but everything else was just wonderful. God bless you but I wanna say to Markel and YAHYA thank you. You have helped us get here and back at home. We thank you
The hotel was clean, front desk nice and housekeeping was efficient. The lobby food could be better, but I am a picky eater. The banquet food was excellent. I hope elevators get fixed. They threw off timing for the events.
The hotel wasn’t clean. Room had an odor and my sink kept getting stopped up. Not to mention a few of their elevators were inoperable during my stay.
The only real complaint that I and I am sure every guest in the hotel experienced had that weekend had to do with availability of elevators for guests to get to their rooms.
Very gracious and professional
My experience was great at your hotel. The hotel is so beautiful, neat and clean. All of the staff were kind, friendly and respectful. The room was great cleaned up every day. The bed linen was great, neat and was changed every day. The staff was great at leaving clean towels for me daily and anytime I needed more. The elevators were always clean and working. All of my meals from the restaurant were delicious and were served in a timely manner. Thank you so much for the excellent service
The parking attendant YAHYA was the best part of my visit.
Yahya was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He made valet parking easy and greeted us with a smile. Excellent customer service!
I found the hotel to be nice and well located wit,h good facilities. The staff were also always courteous and helpful, top marks to them.
The price of the breakfast was very expensive in relation to what was on offer , so I only had it once and chose to eat outside the hotel for this reason.
i paid for valet at the outside valet service. Was rhen charged again by the hotel for valet (charging me more) and when i told the front desk before leaving to rectify the issue they told me it was and four days later did the opposite.
Valet service
Top choice for business trips in Houston in every aspect, including breakfast, location and efficiency.............
Forgot my wallet at the restaurant. Few minutes later got back there and they informed that it had been delivered to the front desk. They confirmed and never returned it back to me! The final veredict… It disappeared! Unbelievable!
El hotel está bonito y muy buena locación
En el área de la piscina el bar estaba serrado
Design of the hotel was excellent, provided cool onsite communal areas great for connecting with people. Pool is excellent. Staff were very helpful and I was offered a complementary late checkout which was very kind!
Genuinely no complaints
Deixei a carteira no restaurante! O pessoal entregou na recepção e sumiu a carteira da recepção! Onde deveria estar seguro a carteira ela sumiu! Absurdo!
Buenísimo
Nada
The service was great. The food at the Spindletop Restaurant was delicious, and the hotel room was luxurious.
I don't like hotels that charge guests for parking. It's excessive.
Reda was amazing with the valet. All of the valet service men were so helpful. This is a wonderful hotel.
Great experience, the staff is so professional and friendly, they have bilingual staff fot those who need assistance. 10/10 experience
Alldeles för kallt på hotellet. Vi kunde inte ens sitta i baren för att vi frös. Dålig belysning på rummet.
This Hyatt downtown is old and out of the way, with nothing walkable nearby. The nearest decent food is 12-15 blocks away, so plan on walking a while or driving anywhere good. Breakfast was essentially nonexistent. The only nearby option was an Einstein Bros. Bagels — overpriced, low quality, and slammed with long lines for everything, even just grabbing water. The hotel did have an on-site restaurant, but staff couldn't tell us if or when it was actually open. It never did open during our stay, and no one seemed to know what was going on. Nothing about the property felt special — it's dated, not charming, and the location works against you for food, coffee, or basically anything within walking distance. You can do much better elsewhere in Houston. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown for two nights (June 12–14) and had another great experience. Upon arrival, the front desk associate was very welcoming and helpful. We had reserved a room with a king bed and sofa, but seeing that we were traveling with family, she thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with two queen beds, which made our stay much more comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious, and well maintained. We were in town for a music festival, so the hotel was quite busy, but the staff still provided prompt and courteous service throughout our stay. This was our second time staying at this hotel, and both visits have been consistently positive. The combination of friendly staff, clean accommodations, and convenient location makes this an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again on future visits to the Houston area.
Stayed here during the Soccer World Cup in Houston. Staff was very friendly, always willing to help with directions, recommendations and general questions. Location was perfect for the event.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the entire property was welcoming and relaxing. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We especially appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to enjoy nearby attractions and restaurants. The amenities were well-kept, and everything exceeded our expectations. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and great value.
Estuardo is amazing! The level of customer service he offers is amazing and he is such an awesome representative of this hotel!
I have been here twice for professional conferences. I highly recommend requesting a corner room. It's a bit farther from the elevator, but much quieter as you do not hear any noise from the atrium. Amenities are great and staff is very professional.
The experience was flawless and simple. CJ with valet parking made us feel welcomed.
Hotel staff is very helpful, clean room and bathroom, nice pool and workout room, options for food in hotel are limited but other eating options located nearby
I was a pianist at the very recent TMTA conference at I must say that the conference room with all the glasses at the top had whirring and rattling noises which I quickly deduced were those chandelier glasses and which were very disconcerting for the whole hour. This room should never have been used or approved as a concert venue, period. If it is used again for that purpose, a process must be initiated to have those glasses removed. Upon leaving and getting my car, I found that I had been assessed a quite hefty parking charge despite my valet parking already being paid for by a third party. I went to the parking office desk which had a glass window in front of it. She insisted on mumbling in spite of my requests that she speak up because I simply could not understand a single word she said. When I tried to insist that she speak up and project, she looked at me like I was speaking a completely foreign language. She was not even trying to speak into either any microphone, or through the actual gap in the window through which sound could actually penetrate. She absolutely refused to cooperate or even engage and simply left the desk. I dare say she even had the arrogance to interpret my request as insulting. I perceived her as saying that she “could not hear me” but made no efforts to rectify the situation whilst talking with me. I was left hanging for several minutes without any explanation. Whoever was attending the parking office desk at 8:32 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2026 has no business being in a position facing customers. She has better watch herself lest she accidentally come across as being offensive to deaf people. Thankfully the manager on duty and actual valet attendants were levelheaded and deserve to be commended. The manager agreed that my parking had been paid for by said third party already and that the parking reader had read my license plate by mistake because I have used this system before at another building. It was apparently a problem that is well known from past experiences. It charged me on a duplicate basis and we agreed to have me send in the receipt for this charge to be reversed. In any case that Metropolis parking system will have to be scrutinized before being used at all in future if this is indeed a repeated issue. Let us hope that no problems emerge when I try to get this transaction resolved.
C était propre
L emplacement, rien autour pour du loisir, parking à payer en plus 70 dollars par nuit Déco très froide
The location is already horrible because it’s in Downtown. On top of that $71 dollars for you to park next to an already overpriced room is beyond ridiculous! The pool closes early and so does everything else in there so don’t expect to use the amenities. Check in is at 4 so you have 3-4 hours to rush and use everything before it’s closed. My room had dirty linen and smelled used so I know they didn’t wash it. Breakfast is $30 per person!. The list goes on and on. Horrible experience
Great Hotel, close to everything in downtown
This hotel was perfect. Starting from check in, I didn’t get her name but she was so friendly, every employee I encountered was friendly. My room was beautiful. Not one funny smell. I am sensitive to smells. The corner couch was perfect for relaxing. Cleanliness was a 10+. Nice walk in shower, great views, comfortable bed, real AC. The location was perfect for walking and the view from my room was stunning. I will stay here every time I come to Houston.
Fast and super friendly morning service from CJ
It was very cleaned and cozy.
I love it, will be back
Clean and nice staff
To expensive
Had a great stay at the hotel everything was clean and the staff was absolutely amazing with their hospitality. Specifically Estuardo was so helpful upon arrival, recos and how to get to my meetings and where to go after work. Went above and beyond and very sweet
The staff were amazing. So helpful.
Nothing
Terrific service and responsiveness from entire staff, including Estuardo who assisted with directions and loading. Well done!
Very basic media for a downtown city hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and so is the bedding. The AC worked. The room was dark so you could sleep. Other than that, there’s nothing special about this hotel. The staff was friendly and check-in and checkout was easy. Was there for a conference and the room was bitterly cold. It was 70° outside the hotel and not 90. I don’t understand why you would make something 62° because that’s what it felt like. And I tend to be always hot. I had on a wool sweater for Chicago weather that I normally wear during the winter. The food at the conference hotel was rather good and better than expected. If I was paying for this, I wouldn’t stay there. But my work cover the expenses.
CJ from valet was great. He was a gentleman and very helpful.
CJ was amazing at valet and made our experience stress free!! Thank you so much
I had a wonderful time and was impressed by the day to day attention of all tge staff. Great professionals and human beings. I want to highlight particularly the valet guys and Reda who made my day easier everyday. Thank you areda for the patience, the service and the smile. Tibo
Overall, a lovely stay. I was impressed how well the hotel staff handled the high volumes of high school students in town for a very large robotics competition. Despite the high volumes of people coming and going, the hotel staff kept things orderly and calm. Well done! We found our room quite comfortable--my son found the pullout sofa better than average for comfort. I somewhat liked the stylish bathroom--nice in appearance, but the glass shower wall doesn't allow you to create an enclosed space so splashed water made the floor slick. We didn't have any accidents, but room aesthetics shouldn't create a (minor) safety hazard. We were sad to learn there are no microwaves in the individual hotel rooms, nor on the individual floors. The only microwave was in the lobby, but it worked well. (Another hotel guest shared that he resorted to using the iron and set of paper plates to cook his frozen burrito, since he was not aware of the microwave in the lobby. Kudos to his ingenuity!) Perhaps one microwave could be installed for each floor?
Open concept, offered great amenities and the convenience store being open 24/7 is a wonderful touch if and when needed

this hotel was top notch with a great atmosphere. great service, nice and clean and so friendly. Love the fact that they were willing to accommodate a bunch of Highschoolers' in a nice area during a rainy day, all so they can hangout
Hotel service was excellent and staff very friendly. Overall a very welcoming, friendly and positive experience. Highly recommended.
The Hyatt Regency exceeded my expectations in accommodating our robotics team (and many others) for the FIRST Robotics World Championship. The property was clean, updated, and staff was attentive and friendly. Our room was comfortable and spacious. And having the Einstein Bagels on site was so convenient for a quick bite, a coffee, or anything you may have needed, with extended hours. I will also give a shout out to the parents of the kids attending - we have been to hotels for sports before where kids were disruptive and ran wild. With so many business travelers at this hotel, you'd never know just as many kids were staying there too. They were courteous and quiet and I never heard a peep at night. The Hyatt is about a mile from the George R Brown Convention Center, and it was not a bad walk at all. If you want you can take the tunnels, which is cooler and drier depending on weather. Houston is an amazing diverse city, and the Hyatt Regency is situated in the heart of downtown, close to everything!
We have traveled with a very large group of students to a FIRST robotics competition and please stay at Hyatt Regency Downtown. Traveling with large group intended to carry a lot of luggage. Valet people was a huge help! I would lime to say big Thank you! to Yahya to make our packing and unpacking of our truck feel like a breeze!
I love love staying here. We have visited Houston like four times. Each time we have come we stay here. Everything is always clean and never makes you feel as if nasty or rundown. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. I am a big on germs, when I come here I don’t worry like I do when I go to other hotels. So please keep up the good work.
Was excellent. CJ was awesome but all valet were on point and very nice!!
Quick and professional service. 10/10 experience. CJ in valet was excellent.
Insanely good valet experience. Especially Yahya, he was the best valet manager I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve experienced a lot.
Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Gorgeous lobby, great central location. Shout out to Mr. Adrian who took care of my family and me. We were there for a wedding and we were treated like VIP’s the entire stay. It was a wonderful stay-cation for us. We would definitely come back.
