Staff was great. Location is nice and has restaurants nearby
Hallway smells like mold.
Everything was clean and beds were comfortable besides the filthy windows
The size of the room was way less than described. It was only 400 square feet, while it showcased 750. One of the front desk workers, named Hunter over charged my card by $508 instead of the $200 hold.
Gym is fantastic
No in-room amenities e.g. cotton buds, slippers No swimming pool Bar closes at 10pm
The place was fancy
The fee of the valet
Had a wonderful time staying here for Anime Expo. The shuttle service was right outside, valet was prompt and helpful, and the staff was super accommodating. I didn’t have any noise issues and the room was spacy. We requested a microwave and kettle brought to our room, no extra charge, and all the rooms already have a mini fridge for drinks or small snacks. The daily water bottles were a hugeee help considering how hot the summers get. Ron and David at valet were especially helpful and friendly.
The Sheraton Grand is a great hotel with great service. The rooms were clean and tended to promptly when needed. It also is in the middle of several restaurants so you have easy access to various types of food. Parking is valet only, but the staff there make it easy to retrieve your car if you need it. It's not the cheapest hotel out there, but it has pretty good prices for the location.
Stayed for 4th of July Weekend. This is actually the 4th or 5th time we stayed with them for the same holiday. Service at the entrance/lobby and the valet is always phenomenal. Pros: Great valet quick & efficient ( shout out to Ron) Clean beds Organized front desk Amazing wi-fi Cons: When we tried to get more toilet paper & towels it took about 1hr to receive them and we had to go downstairs to use the restroom.
The Ron Valet Team was incredibly prompt with storing and retrieving my car. The porters were very helpful with my mountain of luggage. Great service all around.
Very helpful staff from Ron, Khari (Bell service) and Raul. They were punctual with parking and retrieving our vehicle and loading our luggage and belongings.
When requests are made they tried to fulfill
No consierge to help recommendations and help in reservations. Sunday and Monday yhey said not available!! The bed pillows were the worst I have ever sern. Mattress were like 2 star motel need to be renewed asap!!
Hotel was great! Best experience with the Ron at the valet. Ron went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.
Excellent location right in front of Metro station, staff took care of no option to run into homeless people on the way to Metro (that was common issue for our other place of stay in LA downtown). Excellent staff that dealed with my emergency state mood and mileading reservation very well.
Nice deck that seemed like a pool in the pictures. In spite of deck being very nice the lack of pool was disappointment.
Easily one of my favorite hotels in LA. The rooms and amenities are great, and the gym is excellent with some really good views to top it off. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Taylor and Roberto consistently go above and beyond—every visit they’re welcoming, attentive, and genuinely make every visit more enjoyable. That level of service is rare, and it’s the reason we keep coming back.
LA was the last leg of our journey and we were to spend 3nights. We arrived early for check in, but the rooms were not ready. The super friendly front desk manager had our 4 huge luggages taken care of, while we went out to get our lunch. When we came back for check in at the informed time, the rooms still was not ready and we were given an upgrade to a suite! More room space! More comfortable last leg! Only issue we had is the shower in bath-tub. Other than that, everything is excellent! Excellent location too! Metro is just around the corner with many restaurants cafes. Easy access to USS, to Hollywood Walk of Fame, to Chinatown and many other parts!
Personeel was vriendelijk.
Hotel is beautiful and well taken care of. Location is perfect, easy to walk to a lot of local attractions, restaurants and public transportation. Very safe and clean. We choose this location because we have friends that live near by and we went to visit them in LA. Be aware that parking is very expensive, $60 per night. They called it valet parking but basically you still have to go and get the car. Not worth the money
The experience at the Sheraton is always enjoyable. During this visit, however, it was a bit disappointing that the Wi-Fi and the elevator key were not working, which caused some inconvenience. Nevertheless, I look forward to my next visit.
The ambience ..the staff..and the rooms. All outstanding. The location is ideal. The staff was so very helpful and friendly…and the room was large..nicely appointed and very comfortable!
Location and staff
Cost was high
They charged me $50 per day per room as an additional charge, without telling me.
The above.
Sheraton Grand Los Angeles is located in the heart of downtown LA. Safe to walk to many restaurants within few blocks. Hotel is clean nice. Price is reasonable compared to hotels nearby. This hotel has recently upgraded the gym with Technogym. I always try to stay in this hotel when I visit LA. I want to thank to Clay and Daniel for great support. And thanks to Christopher Sereano at Club Lounge. He is very friendly, kind and helpful to all the guests at the lounge. I wish to come back to this hotel in the next trip to LA.
Location
Breakfast was bad
Good ambiance and big room. Close to super market and cafe.
Location is not that great for walking around in the evening but day time was fine. We booked 2 rooms for the 2 nights at the hotel with our family but we were disappointed that housekeeping was not done next day in our room. We had to ask the receptionist to provide us clean towels and tea/coffee. They did apologise and send the clean towels and refills for the tea and coffee table.

Upon our arrival in November, we were informed that our stay had not been paid for, even though it had already been fully prepaid through Booking. We were asked to pay again for the same stay. For approximately two hours, there was a serious communication issue, as the hotel did not respond to Booking’s phone calls while Booking was trying to reach them at the same time as us. During this time, they were trying to charge an amount to my card without my authorization. At the same time, we were told that we had to pay $200 as a security deposit. On the second day, this amount was changed to $400, and the so-called security deposit was then described as a “destination fee”, which we later learned does not apply to this hotel. In the end, only $100 was refunded. Overall, the handling of payments lacked transparency and caused significant stress.
Nice, clean, room was great, getting the car from Valet was quick
Check in at 4pm even tho I knew after booking hotel
Room was fabulous!
I didn’t like how quickly the neighborhood changed within just a few blocks.
safe street close to a mall and restaurants
AC didn't work well
I went to the hotel with my family on 21 April. After checking in, I saw the room assigned to us; it did not correspond to the one I had booked; furthermore, it was dark, noisy and smelly. I asked to change rooms, but at the reception desk I was told that the other available rooms were noisier than the one assigned to me. I therefore decided not to stay at the hotel and to go to another hotel. Despite not having slept at the hotel, my credit card was charged for one night. I have written to the hotel's customer service department and Marriott Bonvoy several times to ask for an explanation, but I have never received a reply, even though I am a Gold Elite member.

Compliment for Lounge Staff – Christopher & Miguel Christopher and Miguel were attentive, engaging, prompt, and genuinely helpful throughout the morning. Their welcoming approach made guests feel comfortable and well taken care of, setting a positive tone and a great start to the day. They thoughtfully prompted guests before clearing tables and before the breakfast line closed, and ensured that the food was consistently replenished. Their professionalism and attentiveness left a very good impression. Special thanks to Christopher, who was always smiling and approachable, adding a personal and uplifting touch to the overall lounge experience.
Ubicación.
Todo bien.
Location was good. The breakfast and breakfast staff were good
We arrived from 11 hour flight from London to be given the room (pre-booked) via Bookings. On going to the room this room was not made up so told the staff in reception this. Not sure why this was the case but this is very disappointing for a 4 star hotel Was advised there were no other rooms for this standard so waited 15 min to be told has to switch to a suite which had a double bed and sofa bed. But on going to this suite room there was no sofa bed so had to go again to reception who put us in another suite room. I booked for 2 queens for the comfort but a sofa bed is really uncomfortable for 6 nights. Plus the suite room was right next to elevator which was really noisy and all night. Considering the money paid this was a very poor service and I would expect better service and proper comfort
This hotel is extremely loud. They throw parties on the roof till very late hours. The rooms are gross and old. Everything in the bathroom is peeling off. The beds are uncomfortable and pillows are bad. The management take zero responsibility or actions. As a lifetime platinum I can’t describe how frustrating everything was and is. I can only imagine what they do to the others. Stay in Hilton, much cleaner and better rooms And much much better customer service.
Friendly staff. Great location. Close to Metro. Walking distance to additional services points of interest
Didn't dislike anything!!
I will certainly be returning to this hotel. Every aspect of my stay was exceptional, from the prime location to the impeccable service to the great rooms with free coffee and water and state-of-the-art gym facilities. I particularly enjoyed the concierge level; the food was excellent, and the staff provided a consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere. A perfect 5/5 experience.
I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles for a weekend trip and had a wonderful experience overall. The only drawback was that the Club Lounge was closed during the weekend, which was a bit disappointing given this was a leisure weekend stay. That said, it didn’t take away from the many positives of the hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city. The staff throughout the property were consistently welcoming and attentive, which gave the stay a very personal feel. I’d especially like to commend the wait staff at The District. Their service was thoughtful and genuine, and one lady in particular stood out for her exceptional attention to detail. She truly elevated our dining experience and embodied the spirit of hospitality. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and a perfect retreat after busy days exploring the city. Even with the lounge closed, the combination of the hotel’s prime location, the professionalism of the staff, and the comfort of the accommodations made this a memorable stay. I would happily return and recommend the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles to others.
Good stay at Sheraton Grand! We came in for a Laker game. We felt that this location was very convenient as there are many things to do nearby. Only con is even though my room was paid for 100% by points, I still got hit with an approximate fee of $100 (parking and destination fee). Other than that, staff and security was great and the rooms were very clean. The parking garage must be the safest in the city due to the exorbitant fee to park! Hopefully the GM, Clay Andrews can figure out a solution soon!
Location, cleanliness, friendly staff and it’s quiet
Could use better lighting in the rooms.
The location
The valet fee
Great experience good staff, good ambience Proper located in down town …. Housekeeping service is good Gladys she os the most talented n hardworking women i have ever seen in room cleaning services……

I went with friends to the district and had a wonderful valet service from Rigo. I appreciate the attention and service provided. Great food too!
In town for a wedding at the Majestic Downtown. The Grand Sheraton is a beautiful hotel. Staff very helpful and eager to offer assistance. The District restaurant was a great hangout for family and the food and drinks were fantastic. Kudos to housekeeping staff that cleaned our two rooms for five days. Valet parking attendants did a good job retrieving our SUV in a timely manner. Definitely looking forward to my return to DTLA.
The lounge is closed on the weekend. Anyone with status should avoid this hotel if you are there over the weekend. As a bonus, i was entertained that no one could figure out the elevators😃
Staff service was awesome!
Great location
Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was good for our needs. Nice lobby and there is stuff to do near enough to the hotel. The bed was comfy and clean. I did not love the cleanliness of the rooms. Bed was clean but the rest could have been cleaner. We asked for a different room because of that issue. No issue wit that, they moved us and the new room was better. The elevator is loud if you are in a room next to it. They gave warning that it could be an issue and offered ear plugs. Overall the stay was fine.
The staff at the reception and car valet were impeccably polite and helpful. The room was exactly as described, shower great, room cleaned daily We tried the breakfast but thought it a bit expensive for not very big portions. The abiding memory we came away with though was the noise from the metro below the hotel. We were on the 16th floor but could hear every train stopping and starting below. Took us a bit to work out why this was the case, then we realised our room (1621) was next to the fire escape allowing the noise to funnel up. Just a hint for future travellers, ensure you're not in a room by the fire exit !
Nice hotel . Great staff and good location. Didn’t like all the extra charges after already paying on line. $68 per vehicle per night for parking is ridiculous !!!!!!!
Check-in: We were informed that there’s a mandatory destination charge of $30 per day, which includes internet, gym facilities, and a $15 good credit per day. This charge wasn’t mentioned during the redemption process or anywhere else, and there were no waivers. After some pleading, they upgraded us to a “deluxe” room, but it was basically a rundown room. The room was clean, but the fixtures were old, and the washroom had a shower inside a bathtub with poor water flow. The air conditioning didn’t seem to work. At 60F (the lowest setting), the room barely got cold. It was very disappointing! We placed a request for engineering to repair via the chat and we were never given feedback via chat if it had been fixed. The room remained warm. We called the services and requested extra water bottles. We asked for three more bottles, but the lady on the phone curtly said she would “allow an exception” to send us two bottles. What a favour! And by the way, those bottles never arrived. Instead of calling them back and hearing their awful tone of voice, we decided to buy our own water. We tried using the “chat” option on the Bonvoy app to communicate, but we were shocked to be addressed as “party.” I started to wonder how my wife, kid, and I (a group of three) could be considered a party. No courtesy was shown in addressing me as Mr. or using the word “family” instead of “party.” I wonder how this kind of vocabulary is approved by Marriott. Breakfast experience: First, unavailability of breakfast at the lounge on weekends was mentioned nowhere. We had to eat a set menu in the restaurant. Then, at the restaurant, we could only choose one item from the limited choices! The executive lounge breakfast options were another sad story, but at least the staff there was great and always ready to help. At the District restaurant, we were served by an inattentive, borderline rude, and standoffish server. He filled in coffee and disappeared for 10 minutes, then took our order and food arrived after another 15 minutes. Bonvoy Elite guests had the option to choose their eggs, but when we requested an omelette, we were told that the only available options are scrambled, poached, fried, or boiled eggs. We also asked for chicken sausages, what arrived was hard and chewy, making them inedible. It was dark brown in colour, which made us doubt if it was really chicken. The server was never available for checking or feedback so I really do not know if I actually tasted pork. And I cannot touch pork for religious reasons. I am very concerned about this episode. We ordered sourdough and wheat toast, but the order was served incorrectly. To make matters worse, no one bothered to check on us or ask if everything was okay. For our child, we ordered blueberry pancakes, but they were poorly presented. There was no berry compote or fresh cream, which was disappointing. Again, no feedback taken. Another disappointment was that the lounge was closed on Fridays and Saturdays during the evening hours. Despite paying a high redemption rate, there is much more to be desired from this hotel, including its facilities and, most importantly, its hospitality. Lastly, back to the “destination charge”- there was another $4 tax on that which was not mentioned on the piece of paper provided. I felt blindsided. I did not use the $15 credits on all days, I did not take the museum tickets, and using the internet being added to a $30 privilege? That is ridiculous! And here’s the final kicker. I received an email from Clay Andrews (Hotel GM) 24 hours after the stay to ask if everything was ok with our stay. He was fishing to know if the Marriott survey should be sent to me! I can confidently say that because after providing him with the above feedback, the Marriott survey link never came in. Also it’s now been one week and 2 email follow ups have been done but no reply from Clay Andrews. Wow!!! This hotel has something ongoing, including rigged up reviews and ratings!
Clean and employees were great!!
Nice breakfast Hotel in the centre of downtown. Easy Access to shopping malls and fashion district
Great location and wonderful stafff!
Love that theres much to do in walking distance
Clean room and excellent staff
The staff was nice and very helpful. There was plently of dining and shopping with in walking distance. BMO stadium was an easy drive. I highly recommend this hotel.
Elevator scanner for the room card was not working but the touch screen was working fine to choose a floor.
Perfect
Good Location. Downtown does not feel safe
Excellent
Great experience.
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The check-in was smooth, the rooms were spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. The amenities were top-notch ñ. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed. What really stood out was the hospitality—everyone went above and beyond to make our trip special. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!
