Very old and furniture was dirty and peeling

The staff was amazing very nice and welcoming.

Inside my room was a couch it was extremely dirty the hand rest was peeling it was full of stains we weren’t able to sit and enjoy the view we did feel disgusted just y looking at it.

I was not satisfied with my room, I went to the front desk and Mr. Guissefe & Jesus made sure within minutes I was in another room and very satisfied. Even gave small comp on food. I love the hotel, three staff and customer service is definitely 5*

This review is mainly for the Metropole Bar + Kitchen within the hotel. Standouts are the manager Raymond Ramirez and servers Nancy and Daniel. Their customer service and hospitality were outstanding as we ate there a few nights. The food was good and fresh. The staff is so friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

The Metropole Bar and Kitchen on site was phenomenal, incredibly friendly and welcoming staff and the food was amazing. Nancy is the best! Can’t wait to come back.

Very helpful staff. This is our first time in Los Angeles so we weren’t sure what to do but Juan gave us a map and was very helpful in helping us find things to do!

This is a chic and stylish hotel. I love the decor in the lobby with the gleaming bicycle wheels suspended from the ceiling and the unique display of rows of derby hats. We have stayed here numerous times over the years in different type rooms. We always enjoy getting breakfast from Metropole. The steak and eggs are delicious. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I really do like this hotel, but I think the rooms are due for an update. Some of the furniture and paint is showing its age. The upholstery on the bed frames, headboards, and chaise are worn and peeling. I hope they can make some updates to the rooms in the near future to match the better maintained appearance of their beautiful lobby. Parking is only available by valet. The surrounding neighborhood is a little gritty at night, but it is fine in the daytime.

Close to Crypto stadium which is why we were staying here! Got 2 queen beds for 4 adults and it was comfortable, though a bit tight with the room size. The lobby bar had tasty drinks and the front desk staff were helpful for recommending dinner spots. We had parking included with our room which was so handy!

View from the room was not great, and theres not much to do nearby other than visit LA live.

This was hands-down, the best hotel. Very clean and very quiet. It smells amazing. Our Room was great, the price was even better! The service at the restaurant was excellent. We got helped by Juan and David, they’re great!! I would 100% come back and would recommend everyone to book at HOTEL INDIGO

It’s a nice hotel located in the down part area, the atmosphere is great with friendly and helpful staff like Israel. The rooms themselves are well maintained and cleaned.

My friend and I came and had an amazing breakfast. Juan was so friendly and got us seated right away. Genaro was our server and he was very knowledgeable and kind. We had lattes, fresh orange juice, pancakes, and Sausage omelette. Highly recommend!

Had a great breakfast this morning while staying at the hotel. Great meal all around and the brioche French toast was something I’d have again. The service was excellent all around, particularly Genaro and Juan. Great experience.

We had a great time at the Hotel Indigo in downtown LA. The hotel is conveniently located and offers great amenities. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice and very helpful. Check-in at this hotel was excellent. Guissepe, the front desk attendant was warm and professional. I was impressed at his efficiency — he had a sheet and highlighted all the parts I needed to sign, which really sped up intake. He also provided me a 20% off perk for breakfast, in addition to all the other perks this hotel offers. Usually, check-in is my least favorite part of a hotel experience. But Guissepe made it personal, memorable, and one of the best check-in experiences I have ever had.

Great hotel! Israel was very helpful, our group had 8 checked bags and 4 carry ons with 4 personal items and he was such a gentleman and lifted everything for us. In fact he didn’t even let us help. Great bell man!

I stayed at the hotel indigo for anime weekend and oh my God I love it so much. I would go back again. Also, I to the restaurant and the gentleman. Juan was very attentive and gave me great recommendations on the menu. The rooms were a little outdated, but views made up for it.

Israel helped bring our luggages up. Is cool guy, very kind and sweet.

This hotel is great! I stayed here for a convention. The regular room was spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. The staff is some of the most hospitable I've ever interacted with. I arrived early and the receptionist Andy was able to get me a room. Great guy! Overall this hotel is nice, it's a little bit further from the convention center, but it's kind of away from the chaos. Traffic noise was not an issue. They have a great pool and a nice restaurant in the lobby. I'd definitely stay again!

I recently stayed at this property after spending time at a nearby Residence Marriott, and the experience was distinct and enjoyable. Positives: The hotel’s décor in the rooms was stylish and welcoming. Breakfast included was priced at USD 40 per person, and the quality matched the value. Hospitality was excellent. Front Desk Staff Mr. Inin, Breakfast Host Mr. Juan, and especially our server Mr. Genaro stood out. Mr. Genaro was engaging, fun, and truly a gem of the hotel. The freshly baked almond croissant was the highlight of my stay — one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. It deserves recognition as a prize-worthy item. Car park valet service was flexible, allowing short-term drop-offs of 15–20 minutes without issue. Location Notes: Downtown Los Angeles at night offers vibrant options, including the nearby Limelight Restaurant. While generally safe, DTLA can feel less secure after dark due to alleyways nearby. I recommend using a private taxi service for pickups and drop-offs in the area. Conclusion: This hotel combines stylish rooms, standout staff, and memorable food experiences. The almond croissant alone is worth a visit. With attentive service and thoughtful amenities, it’s a property I would gladly return to.

What a beautiful hotel! This property is absolutely gorgeous—every décor detail and every corner feels like it has a story. I’ve always loved the Indigo and Kimpton brands and have visited many locations, but this one has quickly become one of my favorites. From the lobby to the guest rooms and the outdoor pool, everything feels unique and full of great energy. The rooms are spacious, and the shower is truly top‑notch. The location is convenient, right off a major highway, which makes getting around easy. The only drawback for me was the $65 per night valet fee—I wasn’t thrilled about that. Otherwise, everything else was great. Friendly and helpful staff and a well-maintained property.

Overall, the experience was great. The valet service was excellent. We were helped by Sam and Edwin, who were both very polite and professional. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and had a nice vibe throughout. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The location of the Hotel Indigo was terrific. It is so close to everything. I traveled for work and it was nice to go back to a nice hotel at the end of the day. The drinks at the bar are a little pricey but they are made well and delicious. I will definitely stay here again when I am in town.

Indigo has the most caring staff. I was there for 4 nights and felt completely pampered. The restaurant also has delicious food and room service that is so accommodating.

Nothing really. DTLA is a little rough but that isn't Indigo's fault. There are tons of amazing restaurants around. Just be smart and big city-wise. Also I know LA folks dont do public transit but the public transit is right there and great.

I booked this hotel for my 40th birthday to stay after the World Cup game at Sofi. I spent one week at an expensive resort the week prior and was treated better in a 24 hour span here, than my whole week vacation. The hotel is beautiful and very inviting. Let’s start with the bar staff. Saul was so friendly and attentive and a damn good bartender! He also served us at the pool the next day which was so fun and we felt so catered to there. Man he handled the pool crowd so well, and was extremely busy most of the day, but always had a smile on. We also met Raymond who was so attentive, and as a manger he made sure all his staff was taken care of. He made sure we were happy and had all we needed during our stay. Even at the pool, in the midst of being extremely busy, he made time to check in us to make sure we were good. Nancy was also such a pleasure to meet. The customer service was impecable. Her energy and positivity was great to see and she kept that energy even when she was really busy. The kindness and hospitality this place showed us was unmatched. We will continue to come back to this hotel for our short visits to Los Angeles or for an occasional pool party day. Thank you Raymond, Saul, and Nancy for making my birthday so very special. See you soon!

As a family of five, we booked two rooms for our stay. Although I requested adjoining rooms before arrival, the request was not noted at check-in. The front desk agent was eventually able to provide connecting rooms. The rooms were disappointing and appeared poorly maintained. The floors were peeling, the bed frame upholstery was torn, much of the furniture was damaged, and one room’s air conditioner was leaking water. While the bathrooms seemed to be in better condition, the rest of the rooms did not reflect what we were told were recently renovated accommodations. I reported these concerns to the front desk and was told the issue would be discussed with management. However, no follow-up occurred that evening. The next day, the agent explained that he had not followed up and suggested I speak directly with the manager, but she was unavailable at the time and I was unable to wait due to prior plans. Ultimately, our concerns were never addressed, and the staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested in resolving the issues. I am attaching photos so future guests can judge the room conditions for themselves before booking.

Alet helped us in the time we really needed it. Our room was being renovated at the other tower and needed a quick place to work. Alet gave us the perfect room we needed to do our work. My wife and I received prompt help with the most consideration.

No habia piscina en el hotel y no estaba y el 18 piso donde esta la disco solo estaba reservado así que fue fatal! Y aparte me cobraron 98 por el desayuno cuando se suponia que tenia derecho a 80 dolares y no me reembolsaron el dinero de el desayuno me lo cobraron! Y el muchacho me dijo que no se me iba a tocar y fue una mentira si me descontaron el desayuno todo fue pèsimo! Y tenias que ir a otra piscina y no brindaban transporte en mi experiencia fuè fatal no lo recomiendo hay mejores lugares que este

I had a great experience at the indigo I loved the atmosphere there was a dj in the lobby on Friday night it to liven up the vibe a bit and people were loving it! Lorenzo the assistant front desk manager was an amazing person to be welcomed and checked in by made me feel at home! I will definitely be back 👏👍

Property is clean and rooms are upgraded and nice. I arrived early after an overnight flight from the east coast, Andy at the front desk was able to get me check in early so I could rest and shower and not have to wait aimlessly until check in time. Great customer service from him!!

Dirty towels on bathroom sink upon check-in. Got moved to a clean room which was better. BUT I WAS CHARGED FOR BOTH ROOMS . THE ORiGINAL ROOM was PREPAID. WHEN QUESTIONED I was told my card would be credited as soon as I checked out. LIES....I WAS CHARGED AND THEN CHARGED A 3RD TIME THE NEXT DAY. This was a total of 3 room charges. Guest services said a supervisor would call me back within 2 hrs. LIES! Thank God my bank worked with me. I had to file a claim with my bank and prove the room had been paid for in advance. What a headache. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CHARGES. Also my sister had issues with valet charges on her bill. Watch these folks.

Raymond and Nancy made our dinner!! We had such a special family occasion and those two, combined with the delicious food and ambience made for an amazing and memorable evening! Thank you so much Nancy and Raymond!

I came for a one night staycation and ended up staying two nights because it was so enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, quiet, full of beautiful natural light, and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The best part, though, was the staff. Big shoutout to Andy, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, as well as Lawrence at the front desk, Chelsea, and Vivian, who were all wonderful. The breakfast burrito was unbelievably delicious, and thank you to Juan and Gerardo for the stellar service. As someone who works in hospitality, I know great service when I experience it, and this team is doing it right. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I truly appreciated the hospitality.

Juan was a welcome delight each morning as we made our way to breakfast. Comfortable accommodation. Room was a little worn, but always super clean and the room staff did an amazing job of keeping us comfortable.

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. It is quiet, exceedingly comfortable, aesthetic, and feels very bright and open.

Restaurant at Hotel Indigo was so delicious but the staff is AMAZING! Our wait staff who included Genaro and David were so attentive, friendly, and hardworking.

Breakfast was good, the room was really nice, overall everything was great.

The second night of our stay an alarm started going off around 3am. The phone in our room didn't work so I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk and alert them. I'm not sure the lady understood me because it took me a couple of tries to tell her there was an alarm on our floor. A couple times she said she couldn't speak to me about other guests and I had to reassure her that isn't what I was asking. She said she would send security and five minutes later the alarm went off. No follow up call or anything from the hotel, was more or less a "that sucks you got woke up at 3am but you'll be fine."

We are very happy we stayed in this hotel. We were in LA for 3 days. Giuseppe at the front desk was very helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel is nicely decorated and the price was very reasonable.

Normally restaurants in hotels are mediocre, but this one is excellent. The service is exceptional and the food is wonderful. The breakfast is cooked to order and dinner was out of this world. The always friendly staff went the extra mile to enhance our stay. Valet parking is a must have in this downtown LA location, it is expensive but they are on the ball. The room has an excellent view and maid service is top notch. If your destination is USC, it is 10 minutes away. If you’re a Diamond member prepare to be pampered. If you come to LA stay here you won’t regret it.

I've never had to leave a hotel because of how poor the room conditions were. The furniture was so worn out that it was completely unacceptable. We asked for a better room, but the two other rooms we were shown were in the same condition. The manager made no effort to resolve the issue and only offered to cancel our booking. We were very disappointed and decided to take the refund and leave.
