Súper céntrico, muy moderno y limpio
Que no te ponen ni 1 sola botella de agua en el cuarto
Frendly staff. Easy valet for parking.
The room was a nice size and clean. Very spacious for a NYC hotel. Bobby at the bell stand is very friendly. Staff at the front desk could be friendlier at check in.
Extra fees are excessive. Free water bottle in the room would be nice for over $500/night. Paying to store luggage is annoying.
Posizione ottima per visitare mid Town
Hotel molto sporco. Ho chiesto di cambiare camera perché la prima era molto sporca. La Second camera assegnatemi era nelle medesime condizioni.
Location.
Needs updating and I was charged nearly $300 in additional fees. Still haven’t received my receipt and I checked out 11 hours ago. Our pillow covers smelled like mildew and wallpaper was coming off the walls. In the bathroom it looked like things were coming apart as well.
L’emplacement absolument idéal La chambre spacieuse La vue qualité lit et service de chambre
Salle de bain vieillissante Façade hôtel niveau rue sale
Quarto confortável
Banheiro muito pequeno e ruim - mal equipado. Cortina box menor molha todo o banheiro. Frente do hotel suja, moradores de rua.
Being in center of city and accessibility
The price, the lack of amenties, the additional cost for every service like keeping luggage after check out, reservation requirement and not refunding on time...the reserved amount....upon check out...too dark reception area, no clear view...
Room an d Location were excellent .
The hotel itself good, room, bed, staff
The entrance outside very dirty, lots of homeless and pee odor
L’emplacement, le lit confortable
Chambres non conforme a la description, Absence d’équipements dans les chambres, table minuscule juste ou poser une bouteille, pas de chaise, ni de bouilloire, menage fait approximativement,
Appreciated upgraded room
Great Location. Good hotel with all facilities has a mini market in the lobby.
The furniture in the room needs updating.
The location is convenient to go from to other location & transportation is easy to get to go anywhere from as well
We checked in and staff were very helpfuly!
We had a suite and adjacent room, suite was lovely but room was very worn, furniture in need of repair and updating desperately

The location and lobby were welcoming, and Mr. Ali, the front desk manager, was kind and genuinely helpful.
My room's bathroom was very small, but everything else was up to standard.
Locatie en elke dag werd de kamer schoongemaakt en kregen we nieuwe handdoeken
Hou er rekening dat je naast je boeking bij Booking.com ook nog een 40 euro per nacht moet betalen.
I want to thank ti Alex at the reception who helped us for the best stay .
Great location
Omg this location don’t have a great restaurant or a bar that open in normally business hours.. the close on Sunday .. it raining.. guests have no where to go bar n restaurant r closed? Ru kidding me.. this is an international location.. that should b open at least 16 hours per day seven days per week
Location was great!
Rooms were dusty and smelled like urine. We had to move rooms because the smell of urine in our room was so strong. It was a hassle to change rooms, and the manager on duty Will was horrible. Our new room was cleaner but still dusty. Seidu and Marisa were very helpful.
I loved the central location to other NYC destinations.
It did not have a pool.
The Location was great
This property is old, tired, and completely lacks the quality you expect from the Hyatt name. The room was incredibly small, cramped, and filled with heavily scratched, scuffed furniture. To make matters worse, the lighting was horrible—the tiny overhead LEDs were literally pulsating and flickering the entire time, leaving me in a dim, dreary room with a headache. The bathroom felt like a cheap studio apartment. The shower curtain didn't fit and kept sliding around, the corner soap dish was completely rusted, and the wooden vanity shelf had deeply chipped and peeling laminate. This level of neglect is unacceptable for a major brand. Great location, but the rooms are a massive letdown and desperately need an overhaul. Would not stay here again.
Die Lage ist einfach absolut perfekt
Das Personal könnte freundlicher sein. Das Frühstück ist viel zu teuer. Zahlt sich nicht aus.
The location
The front desk staff were not polite and helpful.
Don’t expect courtesy or any helpfulness. Very transactional service with indifferent persons.
The quality of the service provided could certainly be improved. Specifically, the water supply was interrupted, and despite this issue, I was unable to receive any assistance in obtaining some bottled water to use.
A good facilities with easy access to grand central. A good place and location and nice ambiance with nice stay. Price is bit high but good posce
The staff at the Hyatt Grand Central New York were a great disappointment. There was absolutely no attempt whatsoever to welcome or accommodate their guests. For example, I was unable to get help trying to get a cleanup for a spill right in front of the main elevator in their lobby, a clear hazard to anyone attempting to enter or exit the main elevators. The staff at the restaurant wouldn't take two steps toward me to ask if I would be interested in service, instead waiting until I walked right next to her to acknowledge my presence after I made eye contact with her, clearly seeking service. If you want an experience like this, you should seek out the nearest roach motel.
The best part of my stay was the hotel's location, which was very convenient for exploring the city. The replacement room was acceptable, but overall it was just okay and did not make up for the issues we experienced. The first room we were assigned was in unacceptable condition. It had visible mold in the bathroom, a strong unpleasant odor, and signs of water damage, including peeling and chipping paint on the ceiling. No guest should be assigned a room in that condition.
Perfect location. Facilities are a bit dated but everything is very clean and well-maintained; most of the staff is helpful and friendly. I had asked for a quieter room and was perfectly placed at the end of a corridor. The hotel could also accommodate a request for early check-in. The room was fine, though there are few amenities. Very comfortable bed, good lighting and good space design.
Weak air-conditioning in my room, though it may have been specific to that room as friends told me that it worked very well in their rooms.
Location is incredible! Staff were amazing. It’s an older hotel but very clean. Rooms were huge which I wasn’t expecting in downtown NY. We had an issue with the safe not working on check in and were offered other rooms. There is a water refill station behind the lifts which is brilliant. The outside of the hotel is nothing to look at and unfortunately smells of urine, as certain locations in major cities all do. There’s also a few homeless people milling around the entrance area but thats perhaps because it’s next to the main train station? Given the price you pay to stay there, perhaps it should be hosed down every day to give guests a more pleasant entrance experience. Minor downside to the hotel is that you have a ‘use it or lose it’ $15 every day in the shop which can’t be rolled over from the tourist tax that you have to pay nightly. Which is great but meant that we struggled to find things we wanted to eat/drink and then either under spent or over spent every day on things we didn’t want to buy - which was usually breakfast, a tea and 2 bakery items. Would I stay again? Absolutely!
I have always had great experiences at Hyatt hotels - clean, modern vibe with up-to-date fixtures and efficient/ nicely designed furnishing, with great customer service of course. This hotel was not what I had previously experienced - the room was definitely worn, and lots of stuff didn't work. The shower curtain bar was installed in the wrong direction, with the curvature facing down (rather than out) so that the curtain slid and bunch at the lowest center part. The sink stopper was broken. The AC malfunctioned 2 days in a row. Staff were very responsive though and came and fixed all of above, along with replacing 2 light bulbs that were out. The bathroom fixtures and furnishings were very basic, not the typical cool mod hyatt vibe. The room furniture was not only worn but also not space efficient for Manhattan. The cabinet drawers had an outer clunky cabinet door that had to be opened in order to access the drawers. The concierge also was unavailable for 3 days - could not find them by phone or in person until the last day at checkout. There is also a $40 daily resort fee, with perks that we didn't really use at all. The food and beverage credit of $15 is not much when a bag of chips is %5.75 and a fruit cup is $12. Overall, the main reason to stay here is the location of being right next door to Grand Central terminal.
Always my go to when NYC. An exceptional location to get anywhere in the city (and beyond). A seasoned and super helpful staff. Consistent and by NYC standards very nice and spacious rooms.
Location
No buffet
Great location, but not the full-service Hyatt experience I expected The biggest advantage of Hyatt Grand Central is its location. Being connected to Grand Central Terminal makes it extremely convenient for exploring Manhattan and getting to and from the airport. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I appreciated being upgraded to a room with a partial view of the Empire State Building as an Hyatt Explorist. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives largely ended. What surprised me most was how stripped-down the room felt for a full-service Hyatt. There were plastic cups instead of glassware(not even plastics), no ice bucket or ice bucket liner, and even basic items like a pen and notepad were missing. Individually these are minor details, but together they made the room feel more like a limited-service hotel than a property carrying the Hyatt name. I understand that a hotel in such a busy location may have concerns about theft or the cost of replacing room items. However, removing basic amenities from every room doesn’t seem like the right solution. It creates an experience that falls short of what many travelers expect from Hyatt, especially compared with other full-service Hyatt properties. Another surprise was the charge for storing luggage ($4 per luggage) after checkout. Same-day luggage storage is complimentary at most full-service hotels I’ve stayed at, including many Hyatt properties. After I mentioned the missing ice bucket, the front desk courteously waived the luggage storage fee, and I appreciate that they resolved the issue. The staff I interacted with were professional and helpful. My concern is with the property’s policies rather than the employees. Overall, the hotel delivers on location, but not on the overall guest experience. If your priority is being next to Grand Central, this hotel is certainly convenient. If you’re choosing Hyatt because you expect the amenities and service typically associated with the brand, you may find this property disappointing. Based on this stay, I would likely choose another hotel on my next visit to New York.
Disappointing hotel that falls well below what you would expect from a Hyatt. Am a regular visitor to NY - worst hotel I’ve stayed in during past 20 trips or so (never again). Note to Hyatt management: this hotel needs some attention. - Dirty/ grimy/ dark and tired - Long queues to check in - Unfriendly staff/ low service levels (v few staff on duty) - Nothing in room - no water/ coffee/ tea making facilities etc - WiFi not working - Charge to leave luggage Location good - though better options nearby - Westin etc. Just don’t!
Great staff, location, and clean hotel. I will definitely return to this hotel next time I'M in NYC. Able to walk everywhere and enjoy Times Square just a few blocks away
**The Pros:** * **Prime Location:** The standout feature of this property. It is located exceptionally close to Times Square and Grand Central Station, making transit and exploring the city highly convenient. **The Cons:** * **Subpar Cleanliness & Value:** The room was not thoroughly cleaned before arrival. Compounding the issue, the carpet was noticeably wet for an unknown reason. Given the price paid, the value based on cleanliness was incredibly low. * **Lack of Bathroom Functionality:** The bathroom layout is basic and lacks standard storage or cabinet space. A double vanity is not included. * **Missing Amenities:** There is no microwave in the room for heating up food, and room service is completely unavailable. * **Basic Linens:** The provided bath towels and sheets are strictly standard; switching to larger bath sheets would be a much-preferred upgrade. **Verdict:** While the location is excellent for getting around Manhattan, the wet carpet, poor cleanliness, and lack of basic room amenities make this stay a poor value for the price.
Great location. Staff is not helpful. Bathroom was not clean. A/C did not work and it was hard to get anyone to help even change to a different room.
Fabulous location and very spacious room
Just wish there was a microwave in the room
Room was a bit noisy
Everything and is close to Gran Centrak Station
Great location, especially if you are coming in on the Uber shuttle or taking the train to other places after your NYC visit. Also close to Bryant Park and other city destinations. Good value for NYC. A typical large conference-type hotel. If you are a WOH elite member there is a nice lounge on the 16th floor.
Comfy bed
Small rooms
Hyatt should probably consider putting some distance in this relationship. Not at all up to the Hyatt standard. Full disclosure, I was not going into this with “luxury” expectations and honestly this ended up being below “tourist” level. Location is good. The lobby isn’t bad. That’s where the positives end. And if we’re being honest….only one of those is a positive. Booked a King Junior Suite. Bizarre layout. And an absolutely not King sized bed. Queen at best. Furniture is extremely tired. Couch is past sagging and started off as being firm quality and has been left to being ignored for 15 years. Lights and blinds are on an “all of none” system with an extremely finicky touch button system. With the delay between touch and action you never know what to touch. The blinds in the bedroom being on the same circuit as the living room is extremely awkward and ends up meaning the blinds are always down (the adjacent office building is 15 feet away and has direct bedroom views). Unusable use of floor space. Big living room with world’s most uncontrollable couch. Odd high table with dingy stools. And then a ln extremely cramped bedroom and a Paris budget hotel sized bathroom. I much unused space, far too little livable space. Rooms are genuinely unusable in the current configuration, Just plain a bad hotel. Hyatt…you need to invest in this property or drop it from your portfolio, this is a bad showing.
Everything was great and I always stay here for the location.
The only thing was that it was hoy in the room and we could not get the air conditioning to a lower temperature.
This was a return trip to NYC after three years, and we tried a new hotel. The room was quite spacious for a couple. We loved the complete Hyatt service and location access to all that we wanted to experience on Manhattan. The concierge and doorman were most helpful with ideas to enhance our experiences of sightseeing, Broadway shows, and dining. The staff exceeded our expectations with genuine smiles and prompt service throughout. Our one special request of housekeeping was answered within minutes! We love the food options onsite and especially enjoyed the Commodore lounge. We would return again without a doubt.
This location, next door to Grand Central Terminal, cannot be beat, especially now that one can also get to JFK Airport quickly from Grand Central Madison. The views of the U.N. building and the most beautiful skyscraper in New York, the Chrysler Building, are magnificent. It is my favorite base of operations in New York.
The room was very clear and verrrry spacious! Biggest hotel room I've had in NYC by far. We were on an upper floor which kept the street noise to a minimum. The $15 included credit was nice, so that covered morning coffees in the lobby before heading out. The convenience of being at Grand Central was amazing. I did not appreciate the $4 per bag charge on departure for them to be held for a few hours before our next stay was ready.
Location is excellent!!!
Bathroom should wear and tear needs some attention.
Location
1.Incompetence.of staff 2. Dirty bathroom. 3. Only place to have breakfast was at the buffet but we didn't want a lot for breakfast 4. My husband has limited mobility and everything was so difficult to get to in the hotel
The front desk had only one person to receive guests at 4pm. She was polite but overwhelmed. The room was large but the bathroom was tiny. My wife and I are not big people but no way we could both be in the bathroom at the same time. I would also have expected a walk in shower. The room was clean and bedding comfortable, but I would have expected a coffee maker and an ice bucket. The bag check guy and the security guard were both very helpful and polite. The best part of staying here is the location, attached to Grand Central. You can’t beat getting off the train in the morning, leaving your bags, then returning later to check in. Same deal when leaving. Check out, leave bags, then return later to pick up the bags and jump on the train.
Good hotel
Messy outside the hotel
La situation.
Check in process was underwhelming. We were told they would call us when they had the room ready, but they never did. Everything felt, old.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are a decent size and most staff are friendly. The Market meets your daily needs for breakfast and the BAR at the lobby level is quite happening.
The hotel was nice, the food was good, but expensive. I was not expecting the additional fees associated with my stay. I would have liked another mirror in the room besides the one in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
If you valet, plan accordingly 30-60 minute wait, even if you call ahead. They will not pre-schedule. So if you have an early flight, wake up an hour earlier then you need to, ugh. Don't trust the phone call to schedule, the info will not make it to the Valet manager. This made getting to the airport that much more exciting.
It was good location but front desk staffs need more customer services training! Whilst checking in they were on their phone and when asked a question, they answered as if we were a bother to them. Honestly disappointing how the standards of their staffing are not at the same level as the hotel name itself.
This hotel is in high traffic area, Well very convenient to tourist destinations, I had to fight crowds to get any kind of food, The rooms are very dated And desperately need a remodel and upgrade, Bathrooms are very small.

"We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, the service was truly remarkable, and the hotel is exceptionally clean. Thank you to your friendly staff for making us feel so welcome."
Very bed experience in a hotel stay this is many hidden charges and they show diffrant room in booking time and give a totally bed rooms
Тhe hotel’s location is excellent. It’s close to the metro and the train station. The staff are friendly and the room is clean
Overall, this was a very good stay and an excellent value for the location. The rooms were surprisingly spacious by New York City standards, which made the stay much more comfortable. The biggest drawback was the bathroom, which was extremely small and felt a bit cramped. The room was also quite dark. One unfortunate aspect of the hotel was the lobby market. Purchases are charged to your room, and staff announce your name and room number aloud when checking out. Very inappropriate from a privacy perspective, especially in a busy lobby. That said, the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Given the size of the room and the reasonable price, I felt it offered solid value for Manhattan.
The bathrooms are disgusting. There were black spots on the pillowcases. The front desk had long lines and no one cared about your experience. Do not stay here.
I visit NYC every year, and with the exception of two of my visits, I always stay at the Hyatt Grand Central. Each year the cost gets higher, but the quality of the hotel (and to some degree, the service) goes down. I stay there because I am a World of Hyatt member, but I rarely get to use my points there. My room was adequate, but the bathroom smelled of urine. And, housekeeping did not replace the face and hand towels. We had to call the front desk to request them. Although there was a refrigerator in the room, there are no longer coffee pots and cups in the room. A hot water kettle is available upon request. The hotel is merely average at best.
The bar tenders were wonderful
Location was good for exploring New York. Staff interaction was mixed, some more helpful than others. We did not eat in the hotel other than from Marketplace which was over priced.
When you check in at Midnight and no one can get you a bottle of water for your room is not what I expect from a 4 star hotel. Some staff members were quite unhelpful.
Excellent stay with friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and outstanding service. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Perfect location, spacious rooms, tidy house keeping…… friendly staff except few at the check in ….. good overall experience

Love this hotel, the location for work is perfect. The rooms are big with ample room for longer stays. Very clean and the gym has all new equipment. I love staying here every time I have to come into the city for work!!!!
Rooms where dirty and had bugs, Customer service was good they was kind and helpful. but when you room is dirty and bugs are in your room that doesn't matter but it helps i guess.
Expensive but nice hotel conveniently located next to Grand Central. Sadly, the parking valet took 1 hour and 40 minutes to return my car, which caused me to almost miss my flight. Hotel staff where sympathetic, and told I would be not charged for valet service--apparently that meant not being changed for one of two days of valet service. This stressful situation and the failure to not comp the whole valet bill soured what would have been a decent stay.
Clean and nice
Nothing

Do not stay here. Bugs in rooms. No one helpful when telling them about it. It is an absolute dump. And it was like 700 a night. Total joke.
Location great
Hair all over the shower floor and no one came to clean it, didn’t give is blankets because they said the hotel is sold out so we had to sleep with a sheet! And they were so rude about it! Besides for the men’s body hair all over shower floor the grab bar was dislodged when I held on to it and could have been terribly hurt!!! And there was a tile that fell apart and came loose on my foot ! If I could add photos you would be shocked. Never left a review before but I’m fuming!!! And at this price?! What a waste! Filthy!
Stayed here for work / office is around the corner. Perfect for work trips given location in Manhattan. Also right next to the train station so can make the case it’s central location if you are trying to get to other places in the city as a tourist as well.
The best thing about the Hyatt Grand Central was the location. Being located on 42nd St. it was only a few steps away from the Grand Central Terminal MTA. You can easily catch the train, bus or just walk to anywhere you wanted to go. The room was spacious, except for maybe the bathroom. The toilet was way to low to the ground. The bed was very comfortable so I wouldn't have a problem with staying at this hotel again.
Worst experience ever! From the front desk and bellman to the housekeeping staff, the attitude of complacency and lack of care for the guest experience was downright appalling. The rooms are small and outdated. There is nothing appealing about this property, other than its direct location above Grand Central Station. THAT's IT! At the rate that they are charging, spend your money elsewhere and not torture yourself. My work chose this venue for our group during our event at Pier 76. I moved the moment our event was over.
