Newly Renovated Embassy Suites By Hilton New York Manhattan Times Square

Staff was outstanding. The breakfast was perfect for the family. Rooms were nice. Location for experiencing sights and sounds of NYC was excellent.

The only complaint was that the elevator service was very slow.

Nuestra estancia en el hotel fue maravillosa. La ubicación es excelente, perfecta para explorar la ciudad. Las habitaciones eran muy cómodas, con camas y almohadas inmejorables que nos permitieron descansar de maravilla después de cada jornada. El baño era moderno, amplio y estaba impecablemente limpio. Además, la limpieza diaria fue excepcional durante toda la estancia. Si tuviera que señalar algún aspecto mejorable, diría que el espacio de almacenamiento es algo limitado. El armario resulta pequeño, especialmente en la habitación con sofá cama para tres personas, que nos pareció algo estrecha. No obstante, esto no afectó significativamente a nuestra experiencia. El personal fue extraordinariamente amable y profesional, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a resolver cualquier duda o necesidad con una sonrisa. El desayuno nos gustó mucho, con una oferta variada y de buena calidad. Quizá echamos en falta algunos productos más propios de un desayuno caliente completo, como baked beans, salchichas o algún tipo de embutido, pero en líneas generales nos pareció muy bueno y suficiente. Como único comentario adicional, el lobby nos pareció algo pequeño en comparación con el tamaño y la altura del edificio. Sin embargo, se trata de un detalle menor. En definitiva, disfrutamos enormemente de nuestra estancia y volveríamos sin duda. Un hotel muy recomendable por su ubicación, comodidad, limpieza y excelente atención al cliente.

También el lobby nos pareció pequeño para un hotel de esas dimensiones. El desayuno era bueno, aunque podría ofrecer alguna opción caliente adicional. We were mis-sold the room - the images on booking.com do not reflect the rooms we were offered at check-in. We booked a room for 3 adults with a view of the Empire State Building - when we checked in there was no view, and the room was only set up for 2 people. A second room offered as an alternative, was an identical room on a different floor. The hotel confirmed the images on booking.com are for an accessible room for 2 people - and in fact the room we had booked didn’t exist. We asked for a full refund, and this was refused, spending over 2 hours bouncing between the property and booking.com and getting absolutely nowhere, while both kept saying it was for the other to resolve the issue. We ended up having to leave the property and find alternative accommodation, with the bank helping us to get a refund for services / products that have not been provided. All this despite being a longstanding Hilton Honors and booking.com customer. Additionally we didn’t see any signs of renovations, overall the lobby and rooms seemed tired, it’s not a welcoming environment.

Las habitación un poco pequeña para tres personas, tiene nevera, microondas, los ascensores estaban bastante demandados, el desayuno excelente y puedes llevarte algo que quieras a tu habitación . El servicio bueno, la ubicación inmejorable, cerca de todo para ir caminando y a 2 calles el metro, a 10 minutos caminando de Grand central. A 2 min del Empire state, 7 min del time square, etc. Hay lugares para comer cerca....la ubicación muy buena.

Centrally located, just a short walk to Times Square or 5th Avenue. As the breakfast varietey and quality of meals and beverages for breakfast is very poor, there are excellent alternatives next door, like a french breakfast coffee or a modern breakfast restaurant with great smoothies and breakfast snacks. Nice rooftop bar with outdoor cinema and bar.

Very small room, especially if you choose to occupy it with 3 persons, which is possible, but not recomended. For two persons it's small, but acceptable. Breakfast quality is very poor and the breakfast room is extremely busy. Better use the surrounding coffees or snack shops.

My stay at Embassy Suites in New York was excellent. The room size stood out immediately — spacious, clean, and well-designed, which is rare for NYC hotels. The front desk and housekeeping staff were consistently kind and attentive. The hotel’s location is ideal, with easy access to the waterfront, the World Trade Center area, and multiple subway lines. Breakfast and the evening reception were convenient bonuses after long days out in the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to families and travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

This hotel is fantastic! We brought our 4 month old and they were able to accommodate him with a pack and play as his crib. Location is excellent- you can easily walk to Times Square and numerous subway stations. Would definitely stay here again

Just an awful experience! The elevators take 15-20 minutes, and we were late for our Broadway show. Garbage bags lay near the elevators all day waiting for pick up. I BROKE A TOOTH on a potable cup of cheese & black olives, purportedly a snackable cup item at their awful happy hour that mainly featured Goldfish crackers. I have $3,000 in dental bills that they said they'd pay for at first, but since have ghosted me for 3 weeks! No one is responding and I have to now hire an attorney. STEER CLEAR of this hotel. there are many others in the area that are better rated.

WE CALLED IN ADVANCE TO ASK IF THE ROOMS HAD THE SOFA AREA SEPARATED FROM THE BEDROOM AND THEY CONFIRMED IT, THEN WE GET THERE AND NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE THAT. ROOM WAS TINY AND HARD TO STAY THERE WITH A BABY AND CRIB. HOUSEKEEPING DIDNT SHOW UP TWICE AND THEY DIDN'T COME EVEN AFTER REQUESTING IT WITH FRONT DESK. FRIDGE WAS BROKEN AND THEY NEVER FIXED IT. BREAKFAST AREA IS TOO SMALL AND IT IS A NIGHTMARE TO FIND A TABLE AND EVEN MOVE IN THERE. THEY CHARGED A $30 PER DAY FEE WE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT, THEN GIVE IT TO YOU AS CREDIT WITH LIMITED CHOICES TO USE IT ON AND ONLY PER DAY. SO A $65 DLS MEAL COULD NOT BE PAID IN FULL.

The Location was pretty good. It's near timessquare and dirffrent Subway Stations, wich makes it easy to reach everything. The Atmosphere was okay it was calm. The room was fine. It was Clean and Had everything you need. Especially the Windows Made the stay comfortable. They Made the room very quiet even If the surronding streets were pretty load Sometimes, you couldn't hear anything. The Service was good. They we're friendly and really cooperative. I sacchi dell'immondizia vengono posizionati all'ingresso dell'hotel la sera. L'odore è terribile e rimane anche la mattina, dopo che sono stati prelevati. La vera pecca dell'hotel è il personale al piano nel quale non si può riporre alcuna fiducia . Ho dimenticato nell'armadio dell' Hotel qualche indumento. Mi sono accorta qualche ora dopo dal check out. Ho subito scritto una email per segnalare l'accaduto, alla quale non è stata mai data una risposta. Sono quindi tornata in hotel chiedendo dei miei vestini , ma mi è stato risposto che non li avevano trovati. Credo che sia un grande disservizio che fa venire meno la fiducia nella struttura.

Just returned from a weekend in NYC and very disappointed in this hotel. I am a Hilton Gold member and stayed 3 nights - one paid and two with points. First, the positives. The location is great. Convenient to the subway (5ish minute walk) and we were able to walk to the theaters for two Broadway shows. The king studio room was nice for 2 (but small for 3 adults) and it was quiet. With three people and the sofa bed out we could barely move around the room, couldn’t use the desk and had nowhere to put our luggage. But the hassles and false promises of this hotel outweighed the pros. Worst is the “lounge” used for the free evening reception and breakfast. I can’t imagine anyone could have designed this worse. It’s much too small for a hotel this size and the layout is makes it worse. Everyone is trying to move in the same small hallways including staff restocking food and clearing dishes. We ate breakfast the first morning but gave up on it after that. So don’t think you will save money on food. As other reviews have pointed out, the destination fee is a scam. They say you can get a $30 credit from the fee in the restaurant- but it is only good in The Heist, crammed next to the front desk, only open after 5 PM and seats maybe 20 people. There’s no way all the guests could use their credits. Not that you get much for $30 anyway. And if you saw the lovely photo of the Skylawn, you can’t use your credit there and it also only opens in the evening. The elevators are indeed slow - I picked a room on floor 6 so at least we could use the stairs. I spent too much of my trip at the front desk getting our keys reactivated since apparently using points then money means every night is a separate reservation. And despite my efforts every day we had to get all of our keys fixed. If you want a quiet room in a good location, this hotel might work, but figure the additional fees into your total nightly cost and don’t expect to get any benefits or food. I will say the staff were trying and were patient but they are in an impossible situation.

I had an issue - my own fault - that required assistance above and beyond from the staff and they came through - especially Yasmill. Great breakfast, great room, excellent location. Breakfast event could use a system. People looking around for open seats carrying plates and cups with hot liquid. Food and coffee appeared not to be regularly monitored for replenishment. People living plates on tables and it was hard to tell if they were coming back or the area was vacant for next group. A team assigned to monitor the flow could improve the flow tremendously during peak times.

Adam one of the concierge of the hotel was so happy to help my Sister in law during our stay. He always greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. He assisted us with our luggage checking in and out as well as giving us directions when needed to travel throughout the city . With customer service not being what it should be, Adam ensured we were getting the best possible during our stay at Embassy Suites.

Could of had more channels to watch on TV. But we was hardly in the room anyway.

I recently stayed at this Embassy Suites with two travel companions. The hotel itself is fine, with clean public areas, multiple elevators, and the onsite staff who are personable and professional. Housekeeping was offered daily and did an excellent job. We didn't partake, but the onsite breakfast area seemed to have offerings typical of an Embassy Suites (albeit small and crowded) and the lobby bar area seemed to be offering reasonable service. Because we were looking for some level of privacy in the evenings and weren't able to find a 1-bedroom suite in our desired location, we booked the Junior Suite offered by the Embassy Suites because it was described as and had photos depicting a room divided by a high-backed sofa bed (see photos). The room was booked several months prior to our stay but, upon arrival, we entered a room containing a king bed and a standard sofa bed against the wall next to it. Assuming we had been assigned the incorrect room type, I contacted guest services and was told that the advertised room I booked hasn't existed since a renovation some time ago. I inquired why we weren't contacted and informed the room we booked wasn't available and she stated she didn't know. I then inquired about a room with two beds since, if we weren't going to have the desired privacy provided by the sofa bed, a standard bed would have been preferable and was told there were none. The next day I received a text from the hotel manager, Jot, inquiring about my stay and I explained how disappointing it was to discover the room I booked didn't exist, and in response I only received a canned apology for not meeting our expectations, yet offering no resolution. We completed our three-night stay but were very disappointed and frustrated to be in a room that was not as advertised. Not only did it not meet the intended privacy needs, but the desk and counter surfaces were all on the side wall as a feature of the former Junior Suite layout, which made for minimal space across the room and nowhere to keep our bags except the floor in front of the bed and sofa bed, leaving us to climb over and around everything to navigate in the room. Had we known the room with the privacy barrier didn't exist, we could have booked any number of rooms with two standard beds and had a more comfortable and functional stay. I contacted Hilton Honors guest services to share my frustration at the experience, and my message was forwarded to the hotel. Jamela, the Operations Manager, contacted me offering another canned apology, attempted to gaslight me about my concerns, and offered a token amount of Hilton Honors points, without addressing the real issue of a non-existent room being advertised and available for booking. After I responded more directly about the potential ramifications involved in falsely advertising an unavailable product, I received communication from Hilton and a reasonable resolution was reached. HOWEVER, as of this writing, the Junior Suite is still being advertised and described as a divided room - nobody from Hilton has acknowledged this or made any statement to indicate that the website would be updated, so I'm posting here to save others the frustration of booking this room they advertise but are unable to provide.

We had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room had a beautiful view of the Empire State Building, which made the experience even more special. The bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations—it was delicious! They even make fresh omelets to order, which was a wonderful touch. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Every interaction I had with the staff during my stay was exceptional. Dinu was very kind and accommodating with our luggage hold and let me borrow an umbrella for the day. Yasmill was very prompt and courteous with check in and was able to provide our room early despite world cup final. Keanna was gracious in allowing us to check out late and provided excellent service with a smile each time. Despite the rainy weather and crowded lobby, everyone did their best to make it an enjoyable experience. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side for this brand, but it is NYC, so should be expected... the shower was amazing with water pressure and heat! Thanks for a great stay and look forward to the next time.

From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our first interaction with the hotel was actually over the phone before we even arrived, when Keonna answered and took the time to help us plan out the details of our stay. Her helpfulness on that call set the tone for the entire visit, and she made sure everything was in place before we even walked through the door. When we arrived, Keonna was there again and went above and beyond, helping arrange an upgrade for us in honor of the birthday celebration. It's rare to feel genuinely taken care of from the moment you step into a hotel, but that's exactly how we felt. Her warmth and attentiveness made the whole check-in process feel special rather than transactional. The upgraded room came with outstanding views of the Empire State Building, which made the stay even more memorable. We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but it was addressed quickly and professionally, without any hassle. It's easy for a hotel to shine when everything goes perfectly; it's another thing entirely to see how a property handles a hiccup, and Embassy Suites Times Square passed that test with flying colors. The room and common areas were exceptionally clean throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, and it was clear the whole property takes real pride in maintaining high standards. Another huge highlight was the complimentary breakfast and nightly reception. Having a great meal to start the day and a relaxed reception to unwind in the evening added so much value to our stay and made it feel even more special. The location truly could not be better. We were within easy walking distance of Times Square and Madison Square Garden, which made it effortless to explore the city and get to everything we wanted to see. Didn't understand some of the fees on the bill

The choices were ok and the coffee was great.

The evening reception and the breakfast were held in a room that wasn't even close to handling the guests. The elevators take forever because so many guests at the hotel. The price of a drink at the lobby were horrible. There wasn't a concierge ever available. The bed frames extended past the mattress, so we were constantly bumping & bruising ourselves. The closet is in the bathroom and very limited space.

The location was perfect for us and the view was amazing. The hotel was generally clean and nice even though there were some minor issues with our rooms: leaking shower cabinet and some electrical issues. However, staff took care of these problems as soon as we informed them we had any inconvenience. House keeping was excellent.

The biggest downside was that the breakfast room was small and crowded every morning between 9 and 10. It was difficult to find a table there. I suggest they should keep it open till 11 am, that could help with the problem. Also, as late sleepers, we would’ve loved to have our breakfast a tad later.

The location is very good. The rooms are spacious. Housekeeping is not great. Very noisy rooms, each time they close the door in the next door rooms we feel like it's our door. Incredibly slow elevators.

I have to say that this has been one of our better stays at a hotel which meant a lot to us while having to stay for almost two weeks. Several of the staff went above and beyond to help us make us feel at home instead of just another number. Keanna, Lina, Lay, Carlos and bartender David are the five we really have to do a special shoutout to along with Badar and Adam, we didn't see you much, but our interactions were always fun and enjoyable. Not only were they warm and comforting, each of them in their own ways made sure all our needs were met. An additional special thank you to Keanna for taking the time to make sure we felt at home and the wonderful conversations we had meant a lot. We will miss all of you from our breakfasts to happy hour and in between. You will not be forgotten.

Location was great , central to everything.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the reception, concierge, bar staff and door staff to be friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service let the hotel down. On several days our room wasn’t serviced until after 5 pm, which was disappointing after spending the day out sightseeing and walking long distances. On two occasions the sofa bed wasn’t made up at all and we had to do it ourselves. One evening, after 5 pm, we asked if they could simply provide clean towels instead of servicing the room as we were too tired but this wasn’t accommodated and my husband had to speak to reception about the issue and to get some clean towels. We repeatedly requested a blanket for the sofa bed, but it kept being removed by housekeeping , meaning we had to keep asking for it to be returned, by the last night we were so over it my daughter just slept with a sweater on as it was almost too hard to keep asking. There was also an instance where a staff member from what appeared to be house keeping sitting on the ground watching her phone on our floor - not a good look. This is a good hotel in a great location with excellent front-of-house staff. However, the housekeeping department could benefit from better management and consistency, as it did not meet the standard we expected. We also paid extra for a suite room.

Não era exatamente como nas fotos da reserva pelo booking. Mostrei a foto da reserva (quarto amplo, com 3 janelas) mas o recepcionista explicou que esse seria o quarto com sacada, que é mais caro. Ou seja, a booking vendeu a foto de um quarto acima do meu, mas a categoria era inferior. Então fiquei em um quarto com apenas 1 janela e pequeno, mas paguei um preço alto pensando que estaria no quarto maior

This hotel has exceeded our expectations, especially at the Morning Breakfast buffet. We are vegetarian and generally have limited options. We got exceptional support and welcoming hospitality by Supervisor Lina. 5*

William was very helpful with finding seating and delivering my breakfast.

Stay was great. Videos location wonderful room and Yasmill at front desk was amazing. She was able to keep my girlfriend’s birthday cake in the freezer for a few hours. Life saver!

The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and made our trip even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Lina, the supervisor, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. She was kind, professional, attentive, and truly cared about the guests. Her exceptional hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely be back!

The room was spacious for New York and clean and very tidy , we had a great time , it was a great touch the 5pm to 6.30pm couple of free drinks and nibbles, we will be recommend the hotel to friends and family.

I stayed at this hotel for five nights at the end of June 2026. To be honest, my first impression was that the room was a bit small, and I was concerned that it might feel uncomfortable. However, I quickly realized that it’s not easy to find this much space at this price in Manhattan. Considering the cost, the room was more than reasonable, and the location was also extremely convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary light breakfast and evening lounge service. At first, I was worried because the lounge was very busy, and I wondered whether the service could keep up with the number of guests. However, thanks to Supervisor Lina and the entire team, everything ran smoothly. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, hardworking, and attentive, so I never experienced any inconvenience. Watching Lina constantly moving around to make sure every guest was taken care of made a lasting impression on me. Her leadership and management skills are truly outstanding. Thank you, Ms. Lina, and the entire team, for making my stay such an enjoyable experience!
