Lisa N. at the front desk made me feel so welcome and comfortable. When an issue arise, she swiftly handled it. One can tell she makes it her mission to make each patron’s day wonderful. Dylan at the valet is never short on compliments, and always ready with a smile to send you off. It is a nice facility and would stay here again.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but was compelled to do so because of the excellent customer service provided by Adrian at the front desk. He was accommodating, friendly, professional, and best of all, a problem solver. The room was great. I loved the space of the Marriott Club, but the amenities were below par. Thanks again to Adrian!

The hotel faces the 405 FWY and the noise is awful. The breakfast included in our room rate was limited to two choices and not very good. Room service asked to make up our room at. 11 am per our request and never showed up and when we returned to our room at 3pm we had to call again.

See above. In addition the room was small with a tiny closet and two drawers and the bath was so small the two of us had to take turns.

Glenn in valet is the man. Always is paying attention looking out for people needing their cars and runs to retrieve vehicles to provide outstanding service !

I am a Marriott ambassador with over 1800 stays at Marriott's. I must say Irvine Marriott has to be in the top 20 best hotels I've stayed at, almost on par with the JW's. (JW is a special breed). From Will at the front desk to Glenn at the valet and Alicia at the Starbucks. All Do an amazing job and really makes my stay in California easy and comfortable!! Henry

Dylan was awesome from the moment I pulled up. My Uber arrived and he immediately opened the door with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming energy. Dylan and Dario both made a great first impression, but Dylan stood out for how natural and confident he was while still being super friendly. I went to grab my bag out of habit and he politely but firmly stepped in and took care of it. It didn’t feel forced at all, just really smooth and professional. Guys like this honestly change the tone of your whole stay. Stoked to be here already and Dylan was a big reason why.

We really enjoyed our stay at Irvine Marriott. The front desk staff was welcoming. Our room was ready upon arrival. The room was clean and spacious. We loved the view. The FLOE Lounge restaurant and YNK speakeasy were great. We ordered lobster rolls, crab cakes, and chicken wings at the restaurant. Everything was delicious. The drinks were very good. The bartender serving drinks at YNK speakeasy on Saturday night was amazing. This is a great place to stay if you’re traveling to Irvine.

I was recently in Irvine, CA for a workshop and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Irvine Marriot is. It's very welcoming and stylish when you first enter. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are a very nice and clean modern contemporary look with everything you'd expect from Marriot. My stay was wonderful and I had zero problems with anything there. The location was perfect for my workshop as it was walking distance and that area is really pleasant and upscale. If you're travelling to Irvine you'll want to book your stay here. Thank you so much for the pleasant accommodations.

Our daughter was taking part in the Titans of Dance event, so my family decided to book an overnight stay. We were so pleased with our stay! Sam at the front desk assisted us with early check-in, which we were so grateful for. The room was immaculate and provided plenty of space for our family of three. The hotel offers a marketplace store and a Starbucks for quick bites and coffee, which we took advantage of several times throughout our stay. There is also a full-service restaurant on-site. The grounds are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. They have a large outdoor game area (we enjoyed the ping pong table so much, lol!), a pool with a giant TV screen, and plenty of comfy seating areas. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning soon!

We were so pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was! We were in Irvine for a business trip and, because our sitter dropped out at the last minute, we brought our dog, Buckley. The front desk was so helpful in getting us a lower-floor room as Buckley isn't a fan of elevators. And they also gifted us a doggie care package! The room was sparkling clean and well laid out. Our balcony made the room seem even bigger and was great for getting some fresh air. But the real reason I'm leaving this review is to praise and thank Danny and Karina! Danny was the master of the lobby, making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed with a smile and Karina was so helpful in arranging for Buckley to join us in the lounge. We felt so very welcome and highly recommend this hotel. If business finds us traveling to Irvine again, we'll be back!

Ideal place to stay for both business and personal trips. Very quiet, calm and clean (very important for me) place. All the staff were extremely courteous and professional. M Club breakfast was phenomenal.

Staff on the phone was very rude 1 of them was the "manager",they couldnt find my booking that i booked in months of advance. My room was filtyy literally dust and hair in the shower. Toilet was discuting tables/shelvees were filithu

The location was perfectly located to the office, airport and lots of great restaurants. All staff were courteous and helpful. The room was lovely and clean! Parking was very easy. The grounds were beautiful with flowering plants.

I got to this hotel after not the best experience in a hotel NYC and found this place comforting and kind of everything Marriott should be. The staff had always positive vibes, the food at the main restaurant was good, the room was spacious and clean and the gym was a real gem. They even have a shuttle running every 30 min to the airport. Everything I needed to feel good away from home.

Loved my stay here. Good facilities. But the highlight were the staff. The service was outstanding. Polite, accommodating and very helpful.

Honestly this is not a high end hotel but they sure make you feel like you are. It’s very clean , staff friendly. Pool is clean , jacuzzi is pleasant Pool is open until 11 pm. Also they have a game zone ( ping pong , Atari , Pac-Man ) both kids and adults enjoy , restaurant and bar open late. I really do do enjoy this hotel.

Overall is good but the bathroom is too small. They need a fan in the bathroom! They have too many events at the same time; therefore, there was a parking issue both times we were there.

If you travel frequently, the M Lounge here is as nice as any M lounge. Not better, but not worse. The restaurant staff is lovely. The menu??? Not so much. Go for the cocktails, but order a food delivery company for a good meal. Lastly, if you forget something don’t expect any help In locating it. Fact is, it’s probably right where you left it. Housekeeping isn’t what you’d hope it would be. Literally called the same day I left to notify that I left a couple of items in the closet. Took 3 days to actually make contact with anyone. The man I spoke with clearly could care less about the issue. He asked what room I stayed in. I said 1646. When he repeated it back to me it was room 646. When he asked for my email address, he repeated it back to me and I had no idea what he was talking about. I had to repeat it 4 times. I finally got the forgot my stuff email. I honestly don’t think it’ll help. This is NOT an organization that is focused on details. I’m Ambassador Elite, and seriously waste another dime here if my items don’t suddenly “show up”!!!!

I stayed at the Irvine Marriott attending a bridge tournament that was being hosted there. The playing area was very nice and well temperature controlled. The hotel room was also very nice - large, clean, well set up, and very comfortable. An outstanding feature of my experience was the food service provided between bridge sessions - both the personnel and especially the food was terrific. Great selection and very high quality. I was very impressed overall with this Marriott and will attend this event again for sure.

Old furniture could use refurbishment and noise gets into the room from other rooms or from people constantly talking outside maybe the cleaners

The staff is winderful here. Alan at the front desk is amazing. Very kind and helpful. The lounge is spacious and very nice. the pool area is very inviting and has a giant outdoor TV for sports events etc. The rooms are clean and appear to be remodeled. The restaurant has a varied menu. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the whole staff for a wonderful stay.

This is a convention hotel that is perfectly located near the John Wayne airport, and within driving distance of the beach and Disney. For either pleasure or business, this location is great. The food options in the hotel are good, with more options within walking distance. There is only paid parking which is the only downside as the cost is a little high, but it is almost offset by the convenience of the location.

Really great location for Orange County stay

I liked the place the last time I stayed. Unfortunately they were completely inconsiderate this time. Worst 130 euros I have ever spent and suggest everyone to stay elsewhere.

A beautiful hotel centrally located in Orange County. A fabulous restaurant, a beautiful outdoor space, with a M Lounge and a full service Starbucks, this hotel is top notch.Plus fine dining across the street if you’re looking for something different. Airport shuttle and bike rentals available. I highly recommend this hotel. A special thanks to their amazing staff, Mike, Alan, Emily, Kiana, Jason, Rose, Josefina,and Romero!

Awesome will stay agian

AC kicks on every five minutes and is super loud. The elevator was out of service and had to walk down six flights of stairs with my luggage. The bathtub was leaking the entire stay.

Isamar, was fantastic, and really made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. 5+ stars.

The stay at the Marriott was comfortable, very friendly staff greeted us when we arrived offered bottled water and also took the time to look up my Bonvoy account so we could have complimentary wifi during our stay. Hotel lobby was clean, inviting and spacious with several cafes and a restaurant located convienently by the front entrance. For those who are interested they have Top Golf as well inside the hotel within the lobby by the pool area.

Clean, easy check-in and a nice place to stay.

This is the 'hidden fee' hotel! $45 a day parking, $15-$20 a day in internet access, and a mandatory $60 a night 'deposit' even if you don't intend to actually spend anything/room service with the hotel. The hotel is busy, crowded and the rooms as average. There are SO many better hotels around for less price including with the same hotel brand.

A bit far from everything

I stay here frequently and the last two times there have been issues in the hotel rooms. Last month the toilet was not functioning and a couple of days ago the TV was not connected for streaming. I had to wait both times for someone to come and fix these issues. I do not know why the maid service does not report issues or check the TVs.

Staff was very helpful

it was very busy, parking is paid and high daily rate, which I wasn't expecting (my bad). Very loud in the lobby, restaurant is not designed to comfortably take in the guests from the hotel. It is quite messy and not a high standard (ambience etc...a bit like cantine).

I had such a great experience at this hotel. The entire property was super clean, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The king bed was incredibly plush with crisp, fresh sheets — such a dream to sleep in! I also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a calming pillow spray for winding down at night. The hotel has a sleek lobby bar that’s great for a quick drink, and they offer refreshing fruit-infused water when you walk in — a small but lovely detail. There’s both valet and self-parking available, which is super convenient. In the mornings, they also serve breakfast options that made starting the day easy and satisfying. Would definitely stay here again!

I travel often to Irvine for business and I ALWAYS stay at the Irvine Marriott. Every time I've stayed, it's a great experience. Easy and quick access to and from John Wayne Airport (SNA). Friendly staff, good food, awesome pool / hot tub / outside deck space - The Top Golf experience is great. Very clean and well taken care of property. Their balcony rooms are so nice due to the fresh air and usually a nice cool breeze. Love it! I plan on staying there again many times in 2025. I recommend to anyone and everyone. One nights stay is all it takes - you will be sure to return.

The entire experience—from start to finish—was top-notch. I commend the manager and all employees for creating a culture of care, customer service, and excellence. I would return in a minute! My room was always clean. The meals were delicious, and the servers were friendly. At my conference, every time employees assisted, they were helpful and courteous. My very favorite part was when I checked in, and after Alex handed me my keys, he actually walked around to where I was standing, looked me in the eye, and handed me two bottles of water.

Clean and peaceful room. Everything else was horrific - transportation there, inaccessible front entrance, no help getting in: no automatic doors, no place to get luggage in and out; poor markings for pickup and drop off; unhelpful night staff

The over night parking pay when we stay there?? What is that??

The stay itself was great. The location of the hotel is located in a business district. There I nowhere to commute on foot to a store or fast food restaurant. You literally have to drive 10 minutes away just to find a Walmart or fast food restaurant. The hotel itself was great! I was quite disappointed they did not have a microwave in the room.

I chose this hotel due to a business event I was attending. it's very close to the airport and a quick ride away from restaurants and stores. The room was nice and was able to get a good night's sleep. Good service and hotel and worth checking out.
