Es hat kein Lift - war für uns kein Problem, sollte aber allen bewusst sein :-)

Location perfect also breakfast

The only downside was I am nearly 80 and it was too many stairs ..

What a fabulous place. I cant recommend it enough. The rooms are beautiful with the most amazing views. The breakfast was outstanding, you would be hard pushed to find anything better. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. 5 stars all round. It's located within walking distance of the centre. The perfect place to stay.

The location was perfect, just by the beach. The Sea-View room was fantastic and very comfortable! There were a wide variety of options for breakfast - The full English was lovely, with some locally sourced produce.

It would have been nice to have an iron in the room.

I loved everything about my stay at the b&b.

It’s comfortable, has a lovely style and is very clean. Little things were thought of: good quality tea and coffee, a communal fridge for jars of fresh milk and bottles of cold water for drinking, for instance. Breakfast was outstanding. Views spectacular. In a quieter end of the town but still close to all that was going on. Worth getting up early for the sunshine and stillness this morning. And Julia and Ian were wonderful hosts who clearly enjoy what they do. We did appreciate the information about the history of the property, which was fascinating.

Nothing. It is worth noting that the rooms are small as it is an old and narrow building. But there was plenty of room and we appreciated the couple of chairs we could look out at sea whilst sitting in.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gab eine Auswahl an verschiedenen frisch gekochten Speisen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und gaben uns tolle Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Lage direkt am Strand war sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet.

The property was clean, the bed was comfortable, view was fantastic as was the location. There was ample storage and space.

My only criticism would be there was no small fridge in the room which would have been helpful. However the hosts had a small communal fridge in the hallway for guests to help themselves to cold bottled water and fresh milk for coffee in the morning. I could not fault anything else about the property.

The hosts are super friendly and lovely, breakfast was fantastic, room was spacious, really clean and comfortable and the view, wow ! Laying in bed listening to the sea just a stones throw away was unforgettable. We 100% will be returning. Dog friendly as well which was a massive bonus for us and our pooch.

Die beiden Hosts Julia und Ian waren extrem zuvorkommend und haben den Aufenthalt so gestaltet, dass man ihn zu 100% geniessen konnte. Sie waren immer erreichbar und besonders das Frühstück ist wunderbar mit grosser Auswahl. Auch Wünsche für vegetarische / vegane Optionen wurden erfüllt.

Brilliant B&B right on the beach with lovely hosts that go the extra mile to ensure you have a lovely stay. Fantastic view of the beach and the breakfast was lovely. We’d definitely come back next time we visit Weymouth.

Sehr nette und familiäre Gastgeber. Auf extra Wünsche bezüglich veganer Ernährung wurde problemlos eingegangen. Die Lage ist perfekt und das Zimmer sehr gemütlich.

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt an der Promenade von Weymouth. Wir waren im Zimmer 7, welches zwar klein aber gut ausgestattet und gemütlich ist. Die beiden Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Morgenessen wird frisch zubereitet und es gibt eine sehr leckere Auswahl an englischen wie auch internationalen Speisen, welche köstlich sind. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für längere wie auch kürzere Aufenthalte und optimal gelegen für jede Art von Aktivitäten.

It’s location was perfect for us, walking straight out onto the beach, breakfast was very good each morning and owners could not be more helpful

Brilliant location, friendly staff, everything you need and a superb breakfast!

Close to the beach, very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and my gluten free dietary requirements were not an issue, the hosts were lovely.

Fabulous sea view - the sea is literally a few paces away, so ideal for swimming at whatever time of day. Breakfast was superb - great quality food and proper coffee. There were also a few treats for guests (like a dish of chocs in the hall) plus chilled water always available.

Being old it informs you in the room literature. At peak times the shower might not always be hot. I had 2/3 cold showers. I was lucky that it was high 20’s outside.

Julia and Ian were exceptional hosts. The breakfast were delicous. So clean and such a comfortable bed too! Excellent location.

Hospitality, fantastic breakfast & dog friendly

Sehr gute Lage direkt am Meer und in einer Einbahnstrasse, fast kein Verkehr. Sehr gepflegte, farbige, alte Häuser in der ganzen Strasse. Es sieht sehr sympathisch aus. Wunderbarer Strand. Am Strand entlang ist es ein Katzensprung in die Altstadt. Das Frühstück war excellent und mit Liebe zubereitet.

Unser Zimmer war sehr eng und klein. 2 Personen hatten rund ums Bett keinen Platz, mehr Raum gab es nicht. Koffer und Hund neben Bett und man kann nicht mehr ins Bett einsteigen. Auch das Bad ist winzig.

Dies waren unsere letzten 2 Nächte einer Rundreise durch Cornwall. Auf dem Weg nach Hause, haben wir hier traumhafte Tage verbracht. Unsere beiden Gastgeber sind super lieb. Die Pension liegt traumhaft am Meer und wird mit ganz viel Liebe geführt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Wir haben uns hier so sehr wohlgefühlt, wir würden immer wieder diese Pension buchen.

Das Whitecliff Guest House können wir nur weiter empfehlen! Super nette Gastgeber. Wir haben im Dachzimmer mit fantastischem Meerblick gewohnt! Toll! Die Lage ist wirklich unbeschreiblich nah am Meer. Das Frühstück ist auch hervorragend! Alles selbst zubereitet- nur zu empfehlen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The stay had a beautiful setting right on the seafront in Weymouth, the views from the room were spectacular! The hosts were wonderful, providing a fresh and locally sourced breakfast every day to request and accommodating any additional extras too! (as well as the amazing artwork from Ian) The property serves as the perfect place to use as a base to explore Weymouth as well as the wider coastline and landscapes of Dorset, a great location just a 10 min walk along the esplanade to the town centre. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful setting and warm hospitality :)

Lovely accomodation with sea view and great breakfast. It feels a bit like visiting friends and not like a hotel. Dogs are allowed and the hosts are super friendly. Can only recommend it.

I highly recommend it. I stayed with my husband and our dog for three nights. The owner is a lovely woman. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were great. The location was great. The beach was across the street and the city was a 5-minute walk away. We will definitely return.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Whitecliff Guest House! Es liegt im ruhigeren Teil von Weymouth. Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im Bad hat alles funktioniert. Es ist allerdings sehr kompakt. Vom Zimmer aus konnte man gemütlich am Fenster sitzen und träumend aufs Meer blicken. Der Strand (Kieselsteine) ist gleich gegenüber. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns herzlich aufgenommen. Das Frühstück wird frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Es gab eine sehr gute Auswahl an warmen Frühstücksspeisen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Busstation und Bahnhof sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Sollten wir wieder nach Weymouth kommen würden wir hier wieder übernachten.

Perfect location for our stay, with an amazing view from the room window. The host couple were wonderful such a lovely lady who served us an amazing breakfast every day.

The washroom was lil bit small for me.

It was one of the best B&Bs we’ve ever stayed in. Everything had a lovely homely touch, from Ian’s beautiful drawings displayed throughout the house, some of which you can even buy and take home, to the delicious breakfast and our room with a wonderful sea view. Julia and Ian are fantastic hosts: warm, welcoming and attentive. We had a truly lovely stay and would happily return.

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und das Frühstück war toll, wenn man typisch englisches Breakfast mag. Die Lage war bombastisch.

The location is lovely. We had an uninterrupted view from our room across the beach and out to sea. Our hosts were helpful and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. There was an excellent choice at breakfast, with all the food cooked perfectly. The hosts Julia and Ian were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, with great communication throughout. If you’ve booked a room with a sea view - watching the sunrise is amazing. Thoughtful touches like fresh milk to take to the room for tea and coffee, along with chilled bottled water, were really appreciated. The option to have breakfast in the room was a big bonus—especially for a teenager who isn’t a fan of early mornings. Town Cente and train station a 5-10 min walk. The beds were very comfortable, and we would happily stay here again.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Julia und Ian im Whitecliff. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht auf die Klippen und hört das Meer rauschen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind liebevoll dekoriert und mit wunderschönen Zeichnungen von Ian bestückt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Perfect location on the seafront, nice and central but just a little removed from the hubbub further down the Esplanade. Julia and Ian were lovely hosts, really friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and really well run and Julia and Ian have created a very warm atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable and with a lovely bay window.

Friendly owners, very nice breakfast, nice little touches like a small fridge in the hallway with small pots of fresh milk, so you can make a proper cuppa tea in your room.

The building from the 1800's and a terraced home divided into rooms, the rooms I've stayed in are not massive say compared to premier inn but comftable. So the stairs are a little narrow and split level on landings etc. But not an issue for us,

Room was very bright in morning as curtains thin (like a dark room for sleeping) and was noisy from road traffic unfortunately. Ear plugs helped though.

Julia and Ian were fantastic hosts! The breakfast each day was a stunning touch, and we got so many great recommendations for restaurants and activities to go to whilst we were there. Location is 10/10, right opposite the beautiful beach and in a quieter part of town. Thank you so much for having us!

Shower was a bit temperamental but this was clearly communicated so no surprises as also an old building!

We had the most amazing seaside stay at Whitecliff Guest House. The place is lovely, filled with thoughtful touches, spotlessly clean, and right in front of the sea. Many of the breakfast ingredients are locally sourced, and the hosts are super-responsive. Restaurants and cafes are just a short stroll away. Whether you're a solo traveler or a couple visiting Weymouth, this is where you want to stay.

Our stay at the Whitecliff Guest House was just perfect. The property was really well presented and the room was decorated beautifully. Our hosts were very generous, adding little touches such as mince pies on arrival, organic coffee in the room and chocolates too. The breakfast was cooked to order and it was delicious.

There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay and would recommend it to all.

Everything was great we had a lovely stay Julia & Ian was so welcoming and always checked with us everyday to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything the breakfast was really nice, our room was lovely and clean would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

We had a sea view from the top floor, it was wonderful. Very peaceful room, great breakfast choices. Hosts were lovely. Great place to stay.

Excellent breakfast, expertly cooked and well presented using locally produced produce. Homely and very welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The beautiful sea facing bedroom was fresh and delightfully decorated with a comprehensive supply of tea, coffee and hot chocolate including a bottle of cold water and a plentyfullsupply of fresh cold milk from the fridge downstairs.

The wooden bedframe was larger in width and length than the matress which meant that you could easily knock your toes on the bedframe legs which my wife did more than once. Also the matress was a little lumpy and bumpy.

The view of the sea and waking up to the sound of the waves was the most relaxing
