The location, the lovely welcome from the host and the size of the very comfortable room!

The bathroom shower was a little grubby around the base and the shower door looked a little grubby as well.

Melaney is super friendly and helpful. She even makes you a takeaway sandwich if you need to leave early for a walk. Great choice for Breakfast. And a super view from my window.

The shower is a little low on pressure, but this is a listed seafront b&b form the nineteenth century. You have to live with some quirks. :-)

Beautiful views from our window and falling asleep to the sounds of the sea was bliss! Location was perfect and close to everything needed. Melaney was lovely and very welcoming. The homemade banana bread upon arrival was very kind and thoughtful. We loved the gorgeous and very yummy breakfast cooked by Melaney! I’ve now found that yummy seeded bread back home!!! We also loved the option of a takeaway brekkie of which we had on the beach one morning. In all we had an amazing and very special weeks stay.

That we didn’t book even longer than a week!! We loved it there that much!

The bedroom. It was an upgraded room as we were celebrating an anniversary, which was a lively surprise. However It was different to the pictures of the same room advertised on website. The room was dusty, which made it feel dirty. The bathroom needed a good clean around sink waste, shower head and toilet basin. The shelf beeded replacing.

We spent two lovely nights in Weymouth at Channel view guesthouse. Melaney makes you feel at home right away. She is such a lovely person and is very helpful. She also makes a delicious breakfast! If we go back to Weymouth we would really like to stay at Channel view again.

Ruim voordat we kwamen werd er al contact opgenomen wanneer we in wilden checken. Bij aankomst stond er melk en water (het was ruim 30 graden buiten) in de koelkast samen met een heerlijk stuk bananencake voor bij de koffie. Je voelde je echt een vereerde gast. Goed ontbijt met veel keuze. Hele goede uitvalsbasis om lekker te wandelen. Melaney verdient wat mij betreft een 10 voor haar prachtig guesthouse.

Das war beste Lage in Weymouth und die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und freundlich und die Kommunikation hat super mit ihr geklappt. Wir hatten zwar ein sehr kleines Zimmer, aber war für die zwei Tage absolut okay. Abends konnte man schon vor B&B sitzen und auf das Meer schauen.

Das Zimmer hätte etwas größer sein können.

This is my second time staying here, and it's the perfect location — just an 8-minute walk to the train station and ideal for my early morning walks on the beach. The sea view is lovely. Everything was just perfect, from the tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits in the room (replenished every day) to coming back from my early morning walk to a very tasty breakfast. Everything was just perfect — a wonderful stay.

I loved my room as I felt cosy and it was like home, the food was excellent and the location was perfect for me as I like to walk and went to many places also the fact that I caught such beautiful sunrises was perfect for me

We loved the location and our wonderful host Melaney also provided the best breakfasts.

Property was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. The guesthouse owner was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating, old skool bed and breakfast at its finest. So close to the seafront you drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves. They even have Bino’s so you can watch the passing boats. Breakfast was Amazing.

The carpet in the bedroom was very tired and could be replaced. This is my only gripe, everything else was fantastic

Melaney cooked a fantastic breakfast each day, served with a smile. Brilliant host and very informative with local knowledge of the surrounding area.

Our room was quite small but would make sure we booked a sea view next time as unfortunately they had all sold out.

We had lovely stay at channel View, we were welcomed in , upgraded to better room . Room was clean and comfortable. We had great view of sea from bay window and left some yummy banana bread . Only a leisurely stroll along esplanade to town and harbour.After a good night's sleep we enjoyed a tasty breakfast once again enjoying view of the sea. Our host Melany was very helpful and friendly. We look forward to visiting again.

La posizione centrale della struttura e la gentilezza di Melaney (host) sono state eccezionali. Direttamente sul lungo mare, l’hotel è a pochi passi dal centro di Weymouth, strategico anche per raggiungere i percorsi di trekking sulla costa giurassica. La camera un po’ piccina, ma essendo ricavata da una struttura storica é stato fatto il meglio e comunque garantisce tutti i comfort.

Era tutto perfetto. Suggerirei di ammodernare leggermente il bagno e il sistema di riscaldamento della stanza, un po’ datati.

Great location for a night out in Weymouth and beautiful views of Weymouth bay and a lovely sunrise. A lovely fresh cooked full English breakfast along with full selection of cereal and toast available.

The mattress was a little soft but that’s only because I prefer a firmer mattress.

Melanie was very welcoming and friendly 😊 The room was very well stocked with everything you needed for a stay including Bath Robes, With a fridge which had water and milk in for your use. Breakfast was also very good, with 3 choices to suit yourself and a very informative booklet about places to eat and visit.

Fantastic sea view from my room, which I wasn't expecting! Melanie is the perfect host, she takes a genuine pride in making her guests feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble. Location is just perfect, about 10 minutes walk from the rail station, similar to the main town centre. Right on the beach front, you can hear the tide come in from your bed. Full set of lovely toiletries provided, including conditioner which is very rare!

Shower was a bit temperamental re. setting the temperature but manageable.

The view is stunning (right on the beach!), and you can hear the waves at night as if they are white noise cancelling machine. Breakfast was delicious, filled with home-made goodies. The room has all the amenities one needs, with very thoughtful details and touches. Location is also convenient - close to the train station and town centre but in a quiet corner of the town.

The room could be cleaner, although I appreciate that the building has some years on it. Overall it was a good experience.

The property is very close to the sea and I could hear the waves inside my room, it sounded lovely and I had a beautiful view of the sea. The hostess was a lovely and friendly character and the breakfast that I had here was delicious and one of the best I have had for a long while.

De gastvrouw was super !! Heel vriendelijk! Heel lekker ontbijt. De ligging was heel goed! Direct aan het strand. Badjassen aanwezig! 👍 We mochten onze take away opeten in de ontbijtruimte( met uitzicht op zee!)

De kamer was erg klein . Het bed vonden wij niet erg prettig. We sliepen aan de achterzijde, waar veel verkeerslawaai was bij geopend raam. De hygiëne kan nog een graadje beter. Nadeel was dat je op een bepaald tijdstip moest ontbijten.
