Breakfast staff

Receptionists were untrained and disrespectful. Air conditioning didn’t work. Noisy. People doing drugs and partying at the parking lot

The rooms were clean and comfortable. They have a pool and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was great. There was a variety of foods to eat, including fruit. Staff was very nice. A few minutes away from Sea World. Not far from the San Diego zoo and beaches. There is a mall, target, and restaurants few minutes away. Very easy access to highway. It was a great place to stay.

The room is very hot; the air conditioning wasn't working—we asked for it to be checked, but no one did. The carpet is very dirty and smells bad, and the bathroom was dirty and had mold

It was close to the places I was visiting. And the courtesy coffee area was a nice touch

My stay was too short

Front desk at night the male was disrespectful and rude one of the night. We were not sure how to enter since the doors were closed. He seem upset because we couldn’t open the doors.

After complaining about the room they were able to switch me next day.

Breakfast was nowhere near the good rating. Selection is very limited. On par or below similar hotels. Old building. Furniture is pretty worn out. First room was at the highway side with a window to it. Very noisy! Even after switching further to the back it is annoying. Could need some sound deadening windows.

This hotel is quite simple, but clean and comfy. The breakfast was decent and enjoyed grabbing coffee from the coffee station! The staff is very nice as well. We would consider staying here again.

There was a parking fee, buying a soda from the vending area was $5 (over charge) and they have an online check in where you could pick rooms which we did because I wanted to be close to my elderly disabled mothers room and when we got there they put us on a different floor. What’s the point of online check in if they don’t use it. Also it’s miles away from any good so location isn’t great.

For an access “Handicapped” room NO HOT water for shower or sink. Answer, “Yeah, too many rooms they don’t supply water in access rooms.” WHAT! Handicapped & their guest take showers too. Then moved us to another room the next day, did have hot water but not handicapped accessible in the restroom.

The staff was overwhelmed. There was no hot water and no rooms were cleaned. The house keeping staff had left with out finishing there jobs. Had no room ready at my arrival. Front lady was nice,not her fault just everyone else's.

Close to attractions such as old town and seaworld, clean and calm, good breakfast included!

breakfast was ok room was ok parking was ridiculous I don't think I should have paid for parking since they had so many malfunctions. I even missed Mothers day dinner with my kids because we could not use the elevator

when we checked in they said that they shut the water off until 4:30 it was off for 4 days of the 6 days we were there, plus they were working on the ceiling at the location of breakfast. plus, the window in our room was broken we could here traffic and all the noise. the elevator was broken also they even had the maintenance guy from Homestead suites next door because they had no one available. they were telling people to go up the stairs, I was on the fifth floor and had a daughter who uses a wheelchair. our Fridge in the room did not get cold. the Front desk staff were rude did not care about the customer. I asked for quarters to wash, and they sent me to the Homestead Next door or told us to go the liquor store down the street. the lady that checked me out said she could not give me a statement I needed to ask booking.com

Breakfast was just okay. I was dissatisfied with paying for parking. Most hotel of this size with large outdoor parking lots DO NOT charge for parking. So I will check on that first next time I travel, and for that reason I will not stay at this hotel again.

I did not like paying for parking since the hotel had ample outside parking. I felt this was a ripoff and will not stay there again when I travel to San Diego. Also the location right off a major freeway was a turnoff . Even though I was on the 5th floor I could hear cars racing off all night long. They should put in soundproof windows for rooms facing the freeway.

Location, always stay but not as comfortable as other times

Roach in my room, pillow cases had black marks on them & forgot to take pics , curtains didn’t stay shut , dryer in washroom left clothes damp, fridge in room did not keep cream cheese cold had to throw cheese . Not sure if bed bugs but me and husband have been itching pas couple days thought maybe just weather or something, got home still was itching . And two doors down at night neighbor was screaming top of voice and kept getting g louder .

bathroom shower head was broken, some cleanliness issues in bathroom walls (stains). main issue for me was the bed and pillows. Bed was too soft, but ok, that's preference.
