It was clean the staff was exceptional! I am very particular and that was the best hotel experience and sleep I’ve had. The bed was extremely comfortable including the pull out bed. Would absolutely recommend this place!

While my room was yet to be updated, the rest of my stay was so nice it made up for it. The restaurants and service were so far better than most places, it’s worth it to stay on premise for meals. The hotel manager is lovely and addressed any issue I had in a perfect way. All of the front desk people were helpful. This was my second stay there and I will definitely return.

We really liked the corner room. So comfortable and big with a view over the yachts. Restaurant was great too

The location of the hotel is excellent down at the waterfront but we were disappointed given the reputation of Delta Hotels. We paid extra for a "water" view but could only see the water if you sat in one corner of the couch. The room was recently re-done but there is no safe and the mattress was less comfortable than expected. We were given a fruit plate as a welcome and that was very nice but the staff put the empty plate on the hall floor and left it there for 2 days until my wife asked somebody to remove it. This did not instill confidence in the cleaning process.

The first night here, we arrived late and were put in an appallingly bad unrenovated room. It was across from the hotel laundry, the hotel HVAC was just outside and we could hear every word in the hallway plus traffic outside. The AC sounded like we were in a wind tunnel. The room was filthy. The next am, we asked to be moved and we went from the dungeon to the palace on a much higher floor. Although the decor was massively refreshed, there were still issues with zero noise insulation. There is very loud traffic outside and the AC was just as intrusive. The hotel staff were not apologetic or welcoming. Other than location, there is no reason to stay here.

After 8 years of travelling across Canada and staying at the Delta twice a year, it is fantastic that the rooms have been upgraded! The Restaurant -View has also improved their menu😊

I was a solo traveler with a tour group. I was not overly impressed with this hotel. They are still doing some remodeling and it was evident and occasionally noisy. My deadlock did not work on my door, although they did fix it. The pool and hot tub were very nice! The breakfast they provided to our group was very good. It was located in a good area of town.

I like just about everything about this hotel except for the weak water pressure and the funky operating shower head/heads. Location excellent, free parking easy and handy. Food options were decent in the restaurants,

I know the hotel is in the midst of renovations so I am hoping they will upgrade the water pressure in the room. The shower was acceptable but could be better.

This has to be one of the most outdated hotels that I’ve stayed at in a long time. I’ve stayed at other Delta hotels Marriott, and farthest is the worst. I know they’re doing renovations, but they should just have not even rented the rooms. They are overpriced for no reason right now. I would stay away from this hotel until they finish the renovations in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. The bathtubs have rust in them. Unreal. How do you let this happen?

I like how they didn’t tell us about the renovation being done to the hotel until after we paid.

We had our wee baby with us so I didn’t like how they was drilling and hammering two hours past the time they said.

I chose this location to redeem Bonvoy points while traveling through Ontario. Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect the standards of a loyalty program, particularly when it came to delivering even basic services. I would recommend saving your points for a property that truly understands and values guest loyalty.

Waterfront view was amazing and swimming hot tub was relaxing after a long walk.

Very disappointing as this hotel doesn’t provide or include breakfast which is surprising as I have been to many hotels with free breakfast. Delta hotel should consider including free breakfast. I am not going to consider booking this hotel again. Also other waterfront hotels also include free breakfast, instead of having a restaurant inside you should be looking to provide free breakfast. And restaurants can be open for other times. Not happy, I stayed as a family with two kids and my kids were unhappy too. Finally I had to get them Starbucks and thanks to Starbucks.

No stopper in the bathroom sink. Do they really want male guest to run the water constantly in order to shave?? Absolutely no hold bars in the tub for a guest to hold while showering? I thought that this was a building code requirement. very unsafe for an elderly guest. The parking is awkward as all the prime spaces are dedicated exclusively for coffee shop patrons. We found parking spots to the west of the building but you need a room key to use the hotel door. We told staff about the lack of hold bars n the bathtub and they replied "Yes, we get a lot of complaints about that." Well Delta, do something.!!!!! I have stayed in a number of Delta hotels in a number of cities and this was by far the poorest hotel I have visited.

The meal we had at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

We should have asked for a bathroom with safety bars in the bathtub. We had no problems, but my husband doesn't have great balance, and it would've been helpful to know that we could've requested a room so equipped.

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The only issue is that the carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced, especially in the elevators.

We experienced a very noisy night up until 11 pm with a concert taking place right next door. If it's important for you to get early to bed, I'd suggest that you look into what's happening on the waterfront that night before you book'

I wasn't expecting much from Sault Ste Marie, but I was wrong. The hotel was great, the view from our room was awesome and the restaurant was also excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are dated and room service is expensive. You could hear neighbour's coughing. The view was great and convenient parking.

I'll start with the positives. The hotel is in a convenient location, within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. There was plenty of parking and you can directly walk onto the boardwalk from the hotel parking lot. The staff I interacted with were all attentive and friendly. The common areas of the hotel appeared well maintained and clean. My room was also in a good state of repair and was clean. The bed, pillow, and sheets were all very comfortable. However, some things just didn't meet my expectations for a four-star hotel. My room was the same size and had the same layout as any standard room in a budget motel; which is a far cry from the rooms I am accustomed to at other four-start hotels. My room had a wall-mounted air conditioner, which I would expect in a budget motel. This is the ONLY four-star hotel I have ever stayed at with wall-mounted air conditioners. Every other four-star hotel I've stayed at have had the quieter "closet style" HVAC units (I'm sure there's a technical word out there for them). The bathroom was absolutely identical to your average budget motel room bathroom. Now here is the bad... The noise in my room was absolutely outrageous from 9pm to 1am every single night of my stay. The parking lot of the mall and adjoining street next to the hotel are used by car enthusiasts, who gather at night to play incredibly loud music, do burn-outs, race, and do donuts. Anyone who doesn't believe me is more than welcome to look at the tire marks on the street and in the mall parking lot. The noise was so loud at times my window shook. One night, the smoke from the burn-outs even filled my room - on the sixth floor! While these gatherings are not the hotels fault nor something the hotel can control, they had a huge impact on my stay and inability to sleep. Since the hotel was sold-out during my stay, switching rooms was not possible. Travellers need to be aware before booking this hotel. If you are bothered by incredibly loud noise between 9pm and 1am, you're definitely going to want to avoid a room that faces the mall or the street next to the hotel.

Concert in the venue next door the first night until 2am. Music was so loud you could hear word for word what was being said inside our room as if we were on the front row. Concert on the 2nd night as well. When we complained the front desk was hateful and said they have no control over it. Two bad nights sleep for weary travelers.

Staff was great. Entrance, lobby and dining options are great. But that's about it. Rooms, facilities, corridors are all run down and need serious renovations and upgrades. Elevator carpet were disgustingly dirty. In facility dining options are clean and good.

This is a great hotel right on the waterfront. There's a beautiful board walk directly behind the hotel and you can walk all along the waterfront. The check-in was smooth and efficient - and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, even looking up directions for us to find our way to the train station for the next morning. We enjoyed dinner on the patio. Our room was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable. The only issue we had was there were limited outlets for our electronic devices. Unfortunately where some of the plugs and outlets were placed, device cords would not fit. An inconvenience, but did not detract from the accommodations.

We paid 358 cad and we got very Small room with 2 Queen bed. We Were 2 adult and 2 kids.

Bathroom was very small and with standing shower with without sliding door to prevent water spillage.

Tolle Lage direkt am Fluss; aus unserem Zimmer konnten wir in die USA hinüberblicken. Parkplatz direkt am Haus, die „Innenstadt“ von Sault Ste-Marie (oder was davon übrig ist) ist durch den Park am Ufer fußläufig zu erreichen. Freundlicher Empfang.

Das Zimmer war nicht riesig, die Fenster ließen sich nur in Form winziger Lüftungsschlitze wie öfters in Amerika öffnen. Insgesamt machen Haus und Zimmer einen etwas angejahrten Eindruck. An der Wand neben der linken Seite des Bettes deutliche Überbleibsel des Mageninhalts eines Gastes, dem es wohl nachts mal nicht so gut ging. Insgesamt für das Gebotene eher teuer.

The restaurant’s food was good. However the breakfast buffet was not good at all. The food was stale and tastes bad. The water view was great.

The room was small and smelled. The wi-fi was not available. The guest beside my room had 2 dogs that were barking loudly all evening.

Stayed twice. Room 325 and 625. The guest rooms are all dated and tired and for $300/night I expected a little better. Room 625 had some cleanliness issues. There was mood in the caulking around the tub, the water reservoir stopper for the iron was missing and water splashes out and (this is disturbing) the fresh water drinking carafe had mold floating in the bottom of it….Delta please do better
