Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sault Ste. Marie ON

The bar was good and the compliment breakfast

Location

Room should have been able to lock! Should have grab bars in shower! Should be able to control room temp!

Praktische Lage.

Was charged for a service from your resort in California USA ???? Was never there ??? Tried to get this resolved from staff at this facility... Absolutely no help what so ever....

Close to our event

Nice big room, outside view to dumpster 😒

I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding a hygiene issue we experienced during our stay at Days Inn. My wife went to the lobby to get some hot water and picked up a paper cup that was provided there. Naturally, she assumed that the cup was clean and unused. After pouring water into it and taking a sip, she noticed that the rim of the cup was visibly dirty. This was extremely unpleasant and immediately raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards at the hotel. We reported the matter to the front desk right away and left the dirty cup with the staff as evidence. The front desk employee told us that the issue would be reported to the manager. However, when we checked out the following day, we followed up again with another front desk employee. We were told that the manager had not yet arrived and that the matter would be reported once the manager was available. What concerns us most is not only the hygiene issue itself, but also the lack of any timely follow-up, explanation, or apology from hotel management before our departure. Providing a used or unclean cup to guests is a serious sanitation concern, particularly when it is intended for drinking. We expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and customer care from Days Inn. We would appreciate a formal response explaining how this happened, what corrective action will be taken to prevent a similar incident from occurring again, and how the hotel intends to address our complaint.

Location

The sink drain in my bathroom was broken, and the carpet in their room desperately needs to be replaced.

服务态度很差

下楼梯的大门应该打开，为什么要封闭？

Liked the underground parking, front desk staff were super friendly. We had a suite with a kitchenette/dining area, which was great for morning coffee, evening tea and the mini fridge was very handy.

There is no driveway or parking area in front of the hotel to park while you check in. You have to park your vehicle in the underground parking, go up to the lobby, they issue you a parking permit, then take it back down for your car’s dash. The breakfast was decent, but each morning we had to wait for a table to clear. Perhaps more seating for the size of the hotel.

The fella working the front desk was simply amazing. Friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Covered parking. The room was clean.

We felt the price was a tad high for the accommodations. They definitely are fixing the place up but it feels old.

Dog friendly on first floor

Old snd dirt of best. Needs updating,

Staff, cleanliness

Breakfast, scrambled egg was so bad also found a small hair. Overall break fast and dining area was so poor

Good stay

Lots of room and everything we needed. Quick and easy. Friendly staff :)

Internet does not work for gaming systems for kids. Need direct access. Not a sign in portal.

short stay and everything was acceptable

The entire hotel was terrible did not even stay there. Went to check in and was not a good feeling in very bad area of town.

Close your hotel down

Lots of room and good front desk service and I was able to pay the dmg deposit with my visa debit instead of a full credit card. Very convenient and easy.

The wifi is 2 step verification and could not connect a game system for the children. Need direct access not a sign in portal.

Nice and clean

Room and bed is good and the breakfast

The hallway is creepy

Location.

Breakfast options were limited and by the time we ate at 9 AM, most options were not available.

Great location close to mall, boardwalk and casino. Convenient free covered parking. Use of luggage carts handy. Fridge had freezer compartment.

I didn't find bed comfortable. Lights in bathroom were not bright enough. TV could have been larger.

Room, bed.

Breakfast was disappointing. It wasn’t a continental breakfast like other hotels. Having to pay extra wasn’t good.

Location

The breakfast Scrambled eggs look awful!!

The breakfast was great! Very convenient to have breakfast before continuing on our trip.

Draperies in room let in light around edge of window. Room darkening blinds would've aided in having a better sleep.

Downtown location close to attractions. Underground parking.

Breakfast was adequate but unexceptional.

Fijne kamer, goede douche, parkeren onder het hotel, prima ontbijt, aardig personeel.

Niks.

Everything is good except noisy at night.

A little noisy during the night because some one checked in late and spoke loudly in the corridor.

The hotel was not clean at all. The sheets were torn, the towels were dirty, the faucets were broken, and the door’s slow-closing mechanism was not working. Given the condition of the bedding, I was not even sure whether the sheets and towels had been replaced before our stay. I also saw the receptionist, who had earlier forgotten to activate our room card, handling towels for another guest. It made me question the hygiene practices, particularly whether proper handwashing procedures were being followed. Compared with other Days Inn locations I have stayed at, this one was extremely disappointing.

Only downside was people in the parking garage trying to open vehicles

Near the Locks and great parking lot

A bit musty and nearby stores and restaurants pretty run down... American side is better and worth the trip.

If you are looking for a great place to stay with amazing customer service make this place your preferred stay. Its my home away from home. Many different rooms to choose from.

I don’t expect much, but at a minimum the TV should work and there were 2 in the room, however the main TV in the bedroom area did not work

The front desk agent upgraded us and was very kind thanks for making our stay great

Clean and comfortable and friendly.

The television was hard to manoeuvre around. The guide would not show up so finding networks was difficult. Also the bathtub was very slippery. A bath mat could save a fall.

Secure parking, friendly staff. Room was clean and completely fine.

We didn’t realise the location was a bit sketchy.

The room was decent.

The location and the way to get into the reception.

Could have changed up the breakfast instead of the same thing every time. I have celiac and I could only have the cereal that I don't eat any other time. You should have more options for all your guests. Other than that it was good for the rest of my family

Bed was to soft and gave me a backache. Was hard for me to get comfortable.

The bed was clean and there was ample room for parking with a trailer.

It didn’t seem overly clean. The clerk tried to overcharge me at check in

Breakfast was good, lots of items to choose from. Something for everyone.

Window coverings should be blackout.

Prima schone kamer met leuk uitzicht op 2 hoog.

Deze " Days inn" heeft dus geen zwembad en geen geust-laundry! Daar rekende ik tot nu toe op. Erg veel afval bij het wegwerp ontbijt.

Breakfast was good. Room was adequate. Breakfast had lots of options.

Restaurant attached to hotel was very loud. We had seniors in our group that did not enjoy it.

The location of the hotel, the bed and breakfast.

That the rooms were not cleaned daily and when I requested for it, it took over 24 hours.

Location

Didn't know how to control the settings on the heat cool. Maybe instructions on the wall would help

It was a nice size room and clean

Location was easy to find however it wasn’t a very safe feeling area. I do realize you cannot control this. I would not book again because of the area.

Room size was decent. Check-in was easy and parking was good.

- Broken coffee table - Cords dangling from all three TV’s. Extremely messy looking. - Very awkward office/mobile home like atmosphere - Weird smell - Tall wooden wardrobe unit not fastened to the wall. Kids almost pulled it onto themselves. Also it was broken. - Sink drain broken and would not drain - Sheets and blankets on the pullout were disgusting, not made and had old rice in it. Called front desk multiple times with no answer. Had to go to front desk to get new sheets and blankets. - Loud humming buzzing all night wife had to wear noise cancelling headphones just to get some sleep - general place was in disrepair with most furniture broken and or not functional.

very limited

breakfast

Nice staff they were very attentive.

Paid for a king rm got a queen the mattress was bad on one side no heat or ac the fan wouldn’t even run. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. The shampoo dispenser didn’t dispense and I could c product in bottle. We slept our night and left.

Everything. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Very clean

Breakfast was fine, except the mess at counter should have been cleaned.

I really think a locked plastic box around the thermostat so we can't control the temp is a little much.

Was clean,good location

Was all good

They upgraded our room to a Jacuzzi tub due to no ac in the first room

The restaraunt that was not very good. Even with 10% off.

location of the property, privacy of rooms and the ability to rest well after a long journey

Room was huge loved it

Needed pop machine with bank or credit option

Trés décue

La chambre 228 est situé a coté des unités de climatisatuion de de l'immeuble, donc notre vue ainsi que le bruit des unités étaient désagréable,

Location, breakfast

Distance to room… Mattresses not as comfy as previous stays.

Location

Room was old not renovated bed was old and hard air conditioner blew right on one side of bed blanket was way to heavy good for winter sweat under blanket freeze with conditioner blowing on you , Jacuzzi tub was so old hard to get in and out slipping all the time shower didn't work could not switch from tub to shower wife almost wiped out twice towels 1 set per person thin worn out overall just a terrible room experience on top floor plus prices went up $60 + from week before room 2034 left at 5am could not get any sleep in that bed got maybe 3 to 4 hrs sleep

Good breakfast included in price, lots to eat. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Has under ground parking.

Easy check in. Friendly staff.

Very small room.

Room was very nice, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, staff were very good, parking was excellent, location of hotel is very convenient.

Having to request housekeeping service seems inconvenient, even if service was automatic every 2 or 3 days would have been preferred.

Bien situé, stationnement intérieur inclus

Les tapis

Location was great, the room was clean and comfortable.

Room was excellent clean and spacious

All great

It was by a mall ?

Welcoming desk needs to be updated …..and when you are dealing with people you should always try and smile

It was in good location

No windows, no air conditioning, no towels. Fitted sheet on bed did not fit, came off.

The free hot breakfast was amazing I would definitely stay there again

Nothing

Parking is indoor so its a bonus for your cars safety, Room is very decent, comfy, neat and clean. I would definitely stay again. Breakfast is average, but staff stationed on breakfast area are very accommodating and nice.

breakfast had good variety but eggs were cold and pancake machine resulted in a poor quality pancake.

I like the property because it was in a central location Breakfast was good The staff was good I would recommend it

Lots of entertainment

Nothing

Le personnel et la propreté des lieux

La salle de bain un peu vieillotte la climatisation bruyante

Only gave it a 3 because the location is great by the water but the hotel needs work desperately. First of all, was not informed the room had No window and the room was dumpy.

Great location. Nice and clean. Good breakfast.

No concerns

Handy location close to town.

Would need some fixing and upgrading.

Very pleased with room and service. Very clean and the refrigerator and microwave were very handy. Great bargain!

Very friendly staff, love that the mall was right across

Great staff

Floors are a bit damp

We had a very pleasant stay at Days Inn after a long journey. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was easy and smooth.

Underground parking included, good breakfast

Sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable

Bathtub

Location

Downtown location

Na

It was ok. Fairly pricy, but the staff were good and the hotel overall was not bad. I guess I did not like the town so it impacted my stay.

I thought it was pricy, also, deposit was too high, especially with no pets.

Hotel is on Bay Street, close to water and has covered parking. Rooms are nicely appointed with good and comfortable beds and had provided Dove toiletries in the bathroom. Hotel has a huge arcade on the Ist floor including a nice pub/restaurant which served tasty food. Overall we loved our stay in this hotel

Comfort

I had made a booking through Booking.com for me and my dog. When i arrived the hotel refused to honor my reservation because they said they had no record of my dog in the reservation. I had clearly made this note in my booking. The hotel blamed Booking.com for the omission but refused to help in any way. Booking.com was also largely unhelpful and it was not easy to find someone to actually talk to about it or to get a refund. I will not use either this hotel or Booking.com again.

Good breakfast

Food on location and close by

How the price went up by 35.00$and was not mension

Nice suite type room

Friendly staff at check in

Felt the location and unsecured parking was an issue.

Guy @ the desk was great

What an absolute SHITHOLE of a city.... wouldnt come back to this disgusting town for any reason

Nothing

I loved the jacuzzi, breakfast, soft bed.

N.A

Le complet était parfait . Bon personnel , très propre .

Comfortable spacious room.

Loud music from the bar.
