The beds were comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was in the back and had its own entrance which was very helpful after getting back to room late.

I’d like to give a special thank you to Nike at the front desk for making my stay so much better. Since I was staying for 12 nights, Nike kindly helped me move to a quieter room, which I really appreciated. She was incredibly patient throughout the entire process, took the time to answer all of my questions, and proactively explained all of the hotel amenities and services that might be helpful during my stay.

Our overall experience was ok, but not what we expected from a Marriott hotel. The biggest thing for us was the outdated rooms as well as the toilets flushing pretty slowly. Additionally, we had family members who booked last year (2025) under our group name who struggled with getting a room at check in having to wait about 45 minutes to 1 hour to get assigned their rooms. These family members travelled from across the. Country and got into town hours early, waited until 3pm check in after being on a plane for hours and was looking forward to relaxing only to be told they had to wait until a room became available. I understand that 2 other groups were coming the very next day after my family's arrival, but we did have a contract in place, which me as the coordinator thought would help secure our stay entirely. What made our stay good was the friendliness and accommodation of the front desk staff who did the best they could to rectify issues as they came up.

The receptionist was very helpful and full of positive energy. That was all we needed coming from a long trip from the Bay. Shout out to “Nike” for making us feel at home and welcomed. Thumbs up!!!

We recently hosted a three-day business workshop at DoubleTree and had an outstanding experience. Our group of approximately 70 attendees utilized the Sierra and Marquis Ballrooms, which provided the perfect setting for our event. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout. The hotel staff was professional, attentive, and responsive to our needs, helping ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Nanette, Mauricio, and the catering team for delivering excellent meals and refreshments each day. The quality, presentation, and service were consistently impressive and well-received by our attendees. We greatly appreciate the support and hospitality from the DoubleTree team and look forward to hosting future events here.

We stayed here for the first time for a week during our church conference. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we were able to use the space for study groups and fellowship. I’m so grateful we found this place for our families and our Christian fellowship. Also, a big shout-out to Tommy at the front desk! He was so nice and welcoming, and he took great care of us and our family!

I stay here often for business in the area. Always a pleasurable experience. The rooms are clean and spacious. The front desk staff is dynamite including Nike, Tommy, Veronica, and Jessica. They have a restaurant/bar onsite that is very agreeable. Overall, I always enjoy my stay here at the Double Tree.

I stay at this hotel regularly and every time I check in, Marilyn invites me with the same enthusiasm like she did the first time. She is a great employee at this facility. She is very patient and asks about the travel etc.

I was about to take my large luggage to Disneyland before heading to the airport, but Tommy noticed my plan and kindly advised me to store it at the hotel instead. Turns out Disneyland can't hold big luggage — he saved me from a huge hassle! His thoughtfulness and proactive attitude really made my day. Easily the best staff member I've met here. Highly recommend this hotel, and a big shoutout to Tommy!

We stayed here for two weeks in a double queen room and had a really enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, and was a great base for our family holiday. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but we have to give a special mention to Oscar at breakfast. He was absolutely excellent! He made sure we had everything we needed each morning, was always friendly and efficient, and really got to know us during our two-week stay. It was always nice to see him in the morning and have a chat. Oscar is a real asset to the hotel and made a genuine difference to our stay. The hotel also very kindly provided two gift bags of treats for our children, who were celebrating their 21st and 17th birthdays. This was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture and was really appreciated. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. Thank you to all the staff, and especially Oscar, for making us feel so welcome!

As always, DoubleTree by Hilton Buena Park is one of the easiest hotels to work with. The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and accommodating. I ran into some issues with my reservation after booking through a third-party site, but Nike at the front desk went above and beyond to help resolve everything quickly and efficiently. Nike was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure my stay got off to a smooth start. It’s rare to find customer service that proactive these days, and she turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-managed, but it’s employees like Nike who truly make the difference. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. I’ll definitely continue staying here whenever I’m in the area.

Greetings all! I just have to say after many years of countless visits we have consistently had wonderful stays here at the DoubleTree Buena Park.. Most importantly, the staff and how kind & personable they are. We always check in late at night, usually after midnight and we are greeted with The best smile and welcoming from Heriberto. He is extremely kind and considerate and will make you stay the best possible. After almost 5 years of recognizing my family with our young son whose birthday we were celebrating at Knott's Berry farm, Heriberto went above and beyond with his consistent kindness. Upon check in, He noticed my son was wearing a Star Wars t-shirt and went out of his way to get him a birthday gift with his first very own Stormtrooper Star Wars character and a lovely card written to our boy wishing him the best birthday trip! It's really magnificent to have super kind & thoughtful people like Heriberto who really appreciate their guests, taking pride in their work.. Not to mention always making sure everything is upmost pleasant and all is as happy as can be during their stay at The DoubleTree Buena Park hotel. -Do yourself a favor, and stop looking anywhere else if you're planning on the Buena Park/ Anaheim area and theme parks vicinities. This is the best place for the considerably well priced "resort like" amenities, very clean and well equipped rooms, including super ultra comfortable bedding and pillows. Excellent service from (Jessica H) very polite and professional very speedy check in but no details were missed at all, very grateful to her for the great customer service.

The location is very convenient, about 30 minutes from LAX and close to popular local attractions. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My main complaint is that the bathroom shower / tub was not clean and did not drain properly leaving a dirty residue in the tub. While taking a shower the water fill at your feet. It made showering an unpleasant experience.

We chose the DoubleTree Buena Park for a family vacation primarily for its location, and on that front it delivered. About 15 minutes from Disneyland with plenty of restaurants nearby, it checks the box as a convenient base for a theme park trip. That said, our check-in experience left something to be desired. We were waiting for a specific room and were told by Jessica at the front desk that it wasn't ready and to come back at 3pm. During the wait, I happened to speak with a member of the housekeeping team, who confirmed the room was in fact ready. When I returned to the front desk and shared this, Jessica maintained that the room was unavailable, then stepped away. Fortunately, Heriberto and Nike stepped in, confirmed the room was ready, and got us checked in without further issue. Nike was genuinely warm and courteous throughout, and Heriberto went out of his way over the next few days to check in on us and make sure our stay was going well. Those two made a real difference. The room itself was clean and comfortable with standard amenities including a Keurig, nothing extraordinary but perfectly fine. The pool was a highlight: clean, well-maintained, with fresh towels available. A nice spot to decompress after a long park day. We did not dine at the restaurant, though there was a small inconsistency worth noting. On day one, the staff kindly sold us a banana, a small but appreciated gesture. On day two, the bar attendant said that was not an option. A minor thing, but it stood out. Overall, a serviceable stay with a great location and some genuinely kind staff. I do find myself curious about the Hilton directly across the street for next time.

My room had a really bad odor as I enter the room. Turning on the air-conditioning didn't help. After returning from all day of work to rest, I was smelling the order from the bathroom which was very strong sewer smell. Had to close the bathroom door overnight. Mattress was too soft.

Warm welcome and friendly staff. Nice rooms and conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. Clean rooms and plenty of space in a clean and unkept property. Nike, front manager was very helpful and made sure my stay was pleasant.

Location is ok. Walking distance to a lot food options as well as a Target. It is next to a busy street and freeway. Rooms were ok as well. A little dated, but not horrible. There was a party in the lobby, so there was a lot of foot traffic. Wouldn’t really recommend a room facing the pool, you can hear everything. Plus is no paid parking, good location, great customer service, especially from Nike the front desk staff.

Small shop on site and a resteraunt too, but good central location for shops and restaurants all around. Hotel has a free shuttle to Disney and Knott's which is great. My stay was excellent the only thing was no one at the front desk told me about the restaurant they had. I found out for myself and my husband and I had breakfast there and the service and food was excellent loved it. Ana was our server and did a great job taking care of us. I told her from the outside the restaurant looks closed down and that the only way I knew it was there was because I looked up online what the hotel offers. The Shuttle service to Disneyland was great. We appreciated both drivers. They took out a 100 dollar deposit for both nights but only gave me half back which I didn’t understand because we didn’t damage anything and left the room the way it was when we came in and I didn’t appreciate that. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back because of that. Also the employees at the front desk could be more informative and nicer. So I guess the best customer service and experience I had there was at the restaurant.

My experience here at the double tree is fantastic and one of the best hotel I’ve stayed here in Orange County. The Staff here is amazing it’s always a pleasure coming. Especially coming in for a morning arrival the front desk is kind and mindful and i appreciate them a lot. Plus the there restaurant here is really good and the food is amazing. There’s a waitress named Ana that works in the morning and she’s the best and always has great customer service and she goes above and beyond. Also the hotel is clean and the housekeeping does a phenomenal job as well. Plus the rooms are sound proof and really good noise cancellation. Plus the hotel is right off the Hwy 91 and I-5 and it’s in great location. Plus it’s around a lot of stores and restaurants & there’s a mall called the Source across the street as well. The Atmosphere here is safe and really chill. Plus you’re close to Knotts berry farm and Disney land. Plus they have a shuttle bus and it’s super convenient. Summer time when it gets warm there pool is amazing and they also have a hot tub is nice and warm. Plus there halls are big and great for hosting and having events here and there’s lots of parking on the property.

Awesome hotel!! We had the penthouse #554, which was huge and great for the many family members who were in town for a family memorial service. Very comfortable room and a great rate for the size of it! The staff were excellent and very friendly. We really enjoyed the restaurant and ate all of our meals there for the 4 nights we stayed at the hotel. the Celebration of Life for 150 was in the ballroom and it was also excellent. Though it is next to the 91 freeway, the hotel was very quiet. The pool area was great and there is a nice fitness center. Best hotel we have stayed at in years! A++++

I stayed in the DoubleTree Buena Park on May 9th as part of a trip to Knott's. If you are looking for a hotel with easy theme park access in Orange County, this is a great option. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to both Knott's and Disneyland. Another plus: the shuttle had a lift in the back, which is great since I use a wheelchair. You also get cookies when you check in. The room was huge. All in all, a great stay.

Wonderful! Peaceful pool, in the courtyard, fenced, hot tub, honestly great layout. Massive Parking Lot! Food, fresh and correct! Rooms were clean, comfortable, minus a microwave but overall relaxing. I even did laundry, clean easy fast. 30/30 $2.00 each machine. Staff, amazing!! Customer service AT-ITS-BEST! Especially right off the bat, ‘Nike’; at the front desk….from check in, that smile, perfect greeting from a horrible fly day. She helped guide very easily, makes sense, well trained individual. 15 minutes away from Disneyland, complementary restaurant breakfast, and shuttles to Disneyland, and those are all the best selling points of this location. The cookies are a bonus for our stay. Rooms are modest, but accommodating for their price point. An above average hotel with great value.

The hotel is located on the Beach St strip a few blocks down from Knotts Berry Farm. There are many restaurants and attracts on the strip. Perfect for families, couples, business, and solo hiatuses!

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I will definitely keep coming back! During this second stay Nike helped me with the check in process. I checked in at 3pm and had forgotten that check in was at 4pm. She was very welcoming and kind and still allowed me to check in since my room was ready! I will say, during my first visit back in February, the drain in my room was not working properly, but this time everything was working just fine. I did notice that there was a lot of stray hairs from the previous guest on the shower walls and around the vanity in the bathroom. Other than that, no other complaints.
