Tripped on hallway carpet itt is coming ungluded and open at the seam.. bathroom has A electric glass wall , that goes opaque when the door is closed..but wasn't working well ,found the switch and jammed it for privacy.,glass shower walls ..restaurant closed.. wallpaper pealing .. hotel is showing its age..

Beds very comfortable. Enjoyed the bottled water.

The coffee pot didn’t work! And the microwave barely heated water for tea. Hence why we enjoyed the water.

Very nicely appointed, clean, comfortable and great ensuite.parking was in the city-owned parkade across the street but it was safe and secure. Starbucks in the lobby was nice.

It was a very nice hotel and the bed was comfy

I had very loud and profane people in the adjoing room. They woke me up twice, at 1:30 and 3:30 with a party. RCMP were called and they got kicked out but it cost me all the sleep

Location

Room was reasonable size, typical standard hotel room with a microwave which was useful, as breakfast not served until 7am & we had to be on a train then. Bed & Bathroom were ok.

Location- though near to train station, we walked up George street & there were quite a large number of homeless people. We didn't feel comfortable. Room wasn't quite as clean as I expected.

Helpful staff especially Raoul. Clean spacious rooms.

Run down hotel with seedy old carpets with wrinkles all throughout the hallways. Slummy part of town with lots of loiterers so I didn’t feel safe.

Love how modern and clean it is, also its very close to the train station and that is a big plus to me.

The pet friendly room could be without any carpeting? The pool chlorine was too strong in the small enclosed space. Couldn't swim

Room is very spacious and clean. It has almost everything you’d need (fyi there’s just no slippers and microwave). The hotel is located right in downtown so very convenient to get food or head back to the highway. Parking is in the parkade next door so we feel very safe

The location is horrible. The downtown core is just gross and you are bothered by drug users at every corner.

Older hotel. Room was just “okay”. Hallway carpeting worn.

Sofa bed had no bedding and by the time I found out the front desk just tells me, “you have to request bedding” like I am supposed to know that you have to request bedding? Disappointing…had to sleep without any blankets and bedding. No response from desk manager at checkout either. Main bed was occupied and plan was to use the sofa bed.

Although the staff was great and very accommodating to me and my dog, this downtown area of PG is heavily populated with the homeless. Most are friendly and/or keep to themselves but some are not, making it a bit unsafe to be outside at night, so not a very dog friendly area unfortunately.

It was a beautiful building very clean and spacious.

The staff was excellent, very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are very clean.

Although the staff did try to accommodate me around the parking garage situation, the parking is not great for a solo female traveller. The hotel is in an area where homeless groups are prevalent, but they take care to have nighttime security on site. The hallways are a bit dark with carpet that needs replacing, but overall the rooms were great.

The mix-up which lead to complete strangers walking into our room. I understand it happens, but a family man walked in to be face to face with my young daughter.

Because of our travel plans, we arrived before check-in time. The room was not ready -- not their fault. But they knew we were waiting in the lobby (2+ hours) and were not able to get the room ready by check-in time. They eventually upgraded us (about 30 mins past check-in time); the new rooms were large, but dingy. Cleaning had not been thorough.

Parking is secured. Good gym and Starbucks downstairs.

The homeless population actively using outside, the staff came off as arrogant and vague on details of the stay. Starbucks card could only be used to order ahead with people who are on something actively talking to themselves in the restaurant. The class of Hot Tub turning out to be a Whirlpool instead and actively being able to hear neighbours through the walls.

I liked starbucks down stairs and the fair that was being held while we were there.

The room didn't match the photo, I was given an non renovated room. When I asked they said it was because I used booking.com. Although the photos from booking.com were of a renovated room with a nice bed and fluffy blankets. The bed was a Murphy bed (folds into the wall) and the pillows and blanket were flat. A small corner shower, no tub. The room had an old weird smell to it. The room was very small also and had a very small TV.

Bathroom feature for shower was a neat touch. the comfort of the bed was great.

Location was terrific. Near parks and restaurants. The Starbucks off the lobby was a nice touch.

The rooms were strange. The bathrooms had glass walls, making privacy nonexistent. The overall decor was dated, like it was out of the 1970s. Carpets were worn and coming loose. The housekeeping staff were terrific. The front desk staff were curt and, I’d guess, under-trained.

Centrally located hotel with friendly and helpful team there to support and help. Being nicely located allowed us to walk to restaurants and activities downtown including the Saturday Market which is fun to explore. Just to add that the gym was fantastic and hotel had a pool and hot tub. Enjoy and kick back couples. Love Starbucks in the lobby

Very nice updated property, great facilities to pass the time. Starbucks in the lobby was great.

The pillows need replacing, as a side sleeper they were lumpy and too thick. Thankfully I brought my own. The buffet at 9:30 wasn’t that great, not stalked up.

This is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at - the beds I think.are made of magic.

I didn't love the see through wall into the bathroom- it does magically disappear when the bathroom door is closed as long as the power is working

The area is bad and parking is around the block on 4th level ,this was a bit of a hike after a long drive, would be worse if fall and winter. Safer than leaving car on street. There was a soft annoying hum noise ,in room ,window looked over next roof

Fantastic staff, extremely helpful, super comfortable room, everyone went way out of their way to make the stay so comfortable, wonderful location. I’m so glad I was able to stay there!

We stayed for one night whilst travelling on the Via Skeena train from Jasper to Prince Rupert. It was about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Near the station, there were a few people who were obviously on drugs and sadly slumped in door ways. The hotel was great, very comfortable, all the amenities we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Good night sleep and back to the train station for an 8am departure. Helpful having a Starbucks on the ground floor. Would recommend.

I did not like the shower. The base cracked under your weight and the shower heads were not great. I also did not like the fact you can see into the bathroom from the main room.

The cleanliness could be better . The carpets were tired and coming off the seams . Could be a hazard. Don’t like their policy on charging extras for late check out or early check in . They are like the airlines . I have not seen this with other hotel loyalty programs .

I enjoyed the size of the rooms and the showers

I didn’t like that I had to park my car where it wasn’t safe so I had to park on the street also because of the size of my vehicle The hot tub was ice cold Front desk said they couldn’t help me they could I could give them more money and upgrade my room to a Jacuzzi tub but it would only be for that night first night Friday night only I said no I’ve already paid. I’m not giving no more money. I called you guys told me it was working. It’s not. Second night it was lukewarm with one jet

We stayed here on our way to Alaska. It was conveniently located downtown within walking distance of a few restaurants. Driving in, we were a bit concerned by some of the people we passed, but any concerns were alleviated by the secure parking garage across the street. Of the Wyndham properties we stayed at, this one was by far the nicest. Everything was modern and updated, almost plush. We would stay here again.

I turned my keys in without knowing i needed it to get in the parking. Was just lucky someone was there waiting for the elevator and let us in.
