I had showed up and the hotel was disgusting. The room was filthy - the pillow had blood on it, there was stains on the carpet, there was hair in the shower, things had maybe been wiped down with a dry cloth and a small amount of cleaner (that’s being generous), nothing had been dusted and there was food crumbs in the drawers. I asked for a refund and I had to go through booking.com - it still has not been resolved. I spoke with multiple people - one said I needed a screenshot of written confirmation from the hotel confirming the refund. I submitted that. The next person said they had to confirm with the hotel and they would do so within 60 hours(?)… I never heard back and I guess will be biting the bullet on this one. Terrible hotel, terrible booking platform, and staff unwilling to assist with booking.com. If I could give less than a 0 I would.

The worst part of the hotel is the area it is located in. My son was concerned about leaving his truck and trailer at the back because of the area. The staff assured him that they and their security would keep a close watch over things. Nothing was harmed but when you are carrying valuable tools, one never knows...He did take most of them out and into the room so everything turned out fine.

The breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. Good value for the money.

I wish the hotel had shuttle service instead of paying for taxi service to and from the hospital and airport.

De ligging. Niet veel te doen en heel veel drugsverslaafden. Kan het hotel niks aan doen. Wel aan het geurtje wat bij de deur naar binnen werd gestoomd. Niet heel lekker als je last hebt van je longen

Keine Bademäntel zum Ausleihen. Keine Umkleide neben dem Pool. Eigentlich sollte man nicht mit nassen Badesachen zum Zimmer gehen, ich kann leider nicht zaubern. Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas zu klein wenn viele Leute im Hotel sind. Leider immer noch zuviele Wegwerfartikel beim Buffet. Klimaanlage zu laut, wer nachts schlafen will, muss sie ausmachen.

Zimmer war geräumig und ruhig

Zwar war das Frühstück inklusiv, aber ziemlich lieblos und sehr übersichtlich. Leider waren einige Stellen im Zimmer nicht so sauber

Sehr schönes, grosszügiges und sauberes Zimmer, endlich mal mit Frühstück und erst noch relativ gesund / wir kamen erst um 21.45 Uhr an und Jennifer hat uns noch zu einem Abendessen inhouse verholfen - danke dafür 👍🏼

Leider habe ich meine Kaution nach vier Tagen immer noch nicht zurück erstattet bekommen. In der Nachbarschaft sind sehr viele Obdachlose- aber das ist eher ein Problem von Prince George , nicht des Hotels

Breakfast was an added bonus since last visit. We used the gym for the first time. Nice equipment!

Drove in from a different area and noticed all the homeless. I was a bit concerned. Also, the lobby toilet was plugged. Easy fix, but someone should have been informed.

Ignorante Rezeption. Schmutz am Boden im Zimmer. Das Bettlaken sah gebraucht aus. Die Klimaanlage lärmend und das Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um acht schon leer und sehr bescheiden.

The hotel easily fulfilled our expectations and provided excellent value for money. The staff, in particular in the bar/restaurant in the evening, could not have done more to help and provided a very welcoming environment after a long day travelling.

Großes Zimmer, großes Bad. Gutes Bett. Frühstück ganz okay. Mehr als 2 Sorten Toast als Brotauswahl wäre schön gewesen.

Frühstück nur bis 9:30 wochentags ist für Urlauber sehr früh, zumal man erst um 12 auschecken kann. Saft aus dem Plastikbecher geht heutzutage gar nicht. Aufgeschnittenes Obst wurde nicht aufgefüllt.

This clean and friendly hotel offers most of the amenities you’re looking for. It’s close to several restaurants and the downtown civic centre, plus a brand-new aquatic centre just across the street.

Das war eine sehr sehr positive Überraschung. Sehr professionell geführtes Hotel. In sehr gutem Zustand topp. Größe, Lage, Sauberkeit sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sogar überragend. Und sogar Frühstück, das sehr gut war, inklusive. Wirklich Kompliment an das Management dieses Hotels, das sieht man heutzutage selten !

Downtown hotel a 7 minute walk from the train station. Helpful staff at front desk and in the restaurant, especially Ocksana our server. Larger than average room with excellent beds. Very clean and quiet. Slightly more expensive than some other options, but well worth it.

I have stayed at this hotel previously three times before, all for one night and have had great service and experience. I was disappointed this time to book two rooms for two nights and have a paper slipped under my door at 930am stating they couldn’t offer any room “ refresh” service because it was already beyond the time in the morning that rooms were serviced. This appeared to me to be poor planing and a simple “ opting out” of service that I paid for. I could understand if this was done at 2 or 3 pm, but certainly not 930am!

Wonderful place with friendly staff and great food. There was a full buffet breakfast, good food in the lounge, and a great happy hour. My room was huge and veery clean🙂.

Umfeld in Prince George, Fahrt vom Bahnhof zum Hotel wird empfohlen mit Taxi, da die Kriminalität sehr hoch ist. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

Super friendly staff, very clean rooms. Aircon super loud, kept waking up. Breakfast was ok, hot items were cold and they close at 9:00. It would be helpful to be serving until 10. The selection was ok, but hot things were warm, not hot and it seems the staff did not refill the items until the very last piece was gone.

Great hotel experience for business purposes. Best in service. Friendly staff. The rooms are impeccable. Peaceful stay for work.

The friendlyests place to stay downtown Prince George. We stayed in this hotel for a girls trip to celebrate my moms birthday. The staff were accommodating and responsive, and always friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are so cosy. The breakfast is hot and has lots of veriety.

My go-to lady Sim is the reason I keep coming back! Her warm smile and sweet gestures always make my day—it’s such a welcoming experience every time. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. She’s attentive, thoughtful, and always remembers the little things, which makes the experience feel so personal. It’s rare to find someone who puts so much heart into what they do, and Sim truly stands out. And the breakfast? Total bonus! Delicious, comforting, and the perfect start to the day. Here I am again, happy as ever. Highly recommend!

I love how clean it is . We book this hotel every year for hockey. The my offer rooms with a pull out couch which is what we need. The staff is always so kind friendly and helpful . This stay they went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and accommodated parking for us.

Location is great, located close to the Civic Centre if you are attending events there. The hot breakfast is nice. It's nice that the property is fully fenced, so you can feel a bit more secure with your vehicle being parked on their site. And, they don't charge extra for parking.

This was my 4th or 5th time in Prince George where the Hyatt Place is a most welcome addition. More upscale, though less full-service, than the Coast, it is the closest to the VIA Rail station of all the downtown hotels. I was warm and comfortable on a snowy night. The hotel's dinner service was surprisingly good. Front desk guy was helpfulness defined. Good job Hyatt Place!

I frequently travel up to Prince George for work, and as a result, I've "shopped around" a fair bit when it comes to hotels in the city. Without a doubt, Hyatt Place is the clear winner for me for the sole reason that it feels like sleeping on a cloud. I get it, soft/plush beds aren't for everyone, but I truly sleep better at this hotel than I do at home. I've even tried to buy their mattress for myself, but alas ... The staff here are super friendly, professional, and polite, and always have a smile on their face when they see me return; that they remember me at all demonstrates how much they actually care about their guests. A free breakfast in this economy also helps a ton, and they've made significant improvements to their food offerings in the morning, which is a huge plus. And for the price, you really can't go wrong. Now to be balanced, the parking lot sure does fill up quickly with massive trucks, so it can be a bit squishy to navigate, especially on a weekend. And unless you sleep with the fan on (like I do) you may hear a lot of doors opening and slamming loudly in the hallway throughout your stay (earplugs do help!) But aside from that, it's hard to find any significant negatives; the bed alone will make you forget all about that stuff anyway, I'm sure!
