You couldn't ask for more at such a super low price. The staff were very friendly; one receptionist spoke excellent English, while the other staff members could communicate in basic English. This was quite notable and very helpful, as I had experienced significant communication difficulties elsewhere. The water park was fantastic.

There are quite a few insects since it is a completely open space, but the stunning scenery makes up for it.

Hahaland Hotel was surprisingly affordable, and the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It’s a wonderful place to stay, especially with the water park, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also has a restaurant, and the food was really delicious. Overall, a great place with excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a wonderful stay at Hahaland Hotel! It’s a great place to visit, especially during the summer, when the water park is perfect for cooling off and having fun with family and friends. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Another great thing about staying here is the location. There are many beautiful caves and interesting places to explore nearby, making it a great choice for anyone who loves nature and adventure.

We visited during the summer, and the water park was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It was so much fun and a perfect way to cool down after exploring the area. The atmosphere was lively, enjoyable, and great for both families and friends.

Honestly, one of the best-value places we’ve stayed in Vietnam! The price was incredibly affordable, but the service was far beyond what we expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and there was so much to enjoy around the hotel. It’s amazing to get this level of service and experience at such a great price. We felt that Hahaland offered fantastic value for money and made our trip even more memorable. Loved our stay at Hahaland! ​Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The hotel sits right along the river, so the air is super fresh and it’s really quiet and peaceful—perfect if you just want to unwind. ​Our room was on the smaller side, but super cozy, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping it spotless every single day. The water park on-site was a total blast, and the staff made us feel welcome from the second we walked in.

Everything is okay

The waterslide etc were so much fun, can do flips. Also great view, bar, private bed; convenient motorbike rental and buying bus ticket.

The 2 breakfast options were very small but even without breakfast would be great place.

I came here for the water park, and it was a great decision for my trip to Phong Nha; the water slides and river jumping were fantastic. Staff speak English well.

The water park is super fun. I really enjoy floating along the river here—it's much better than a standard pool; the river is beautiful and very relaxing. There’s also a fantastic balcony for watching the sunset. The food is delicious, and beer is very cheap—only 20k. The staff are friendly, and they even sell bus tickets.

Private room with two single beds was like sleeping in a shed. Bare walls, no air conditioning. Door barely shut properly and don’t even think there was a proper roof on the shed we were in. A LOT of bugs and insects around that were biting. Common area was quite run down, but what do you expect for a cheap nights accommodation. Showers and toilet were okay

Although the staff was friendly, there was a lack of attention at check-in. There was no one there to check in arriving guests or to attend to the bar. We waited for nearly two hours, even after ringing the bell several times.

A lovely spot right by the river and the water park. The sunset is stunning, and the staff are great. A simple breakfast is included. There is a 50k deposit for the towel, which is refunded when you return it at check-out.

Les chambres ne sont pas du tout isolés. On entend absolumment tout. Elles sont en plus à côté de la reception et du billiard. Donc si on veut dormir tot, pas possible. Les dortoirs sont très sombres et vieux. Peu de place. Ca reste correct mais franchement pas le top. Il n'y pas de serviette fourni... ni de savon ou shampoing. La riviere n'est accessible qu'en plongeant très haut ou par tobbogant. Donc si on est un peu peureux comme moi, on se baigne pas. C'est dommage.

I had a memorable experience here. The prices were incredibly low, yet everything was fantastic. I rented a motorbike and explored the local area; the natural scenery is beautiful and well worth experiencing—from the national park and botanical gardens to the caves. The staff member was very knowledgeable, so be sure to ask her for advice when planning your itinerary.

Bon emplacement proche de la rivière, avec un toboggans et d’autres infrastructures pour s’amuser dans l’eau. La terrasse est aussi très sympa. Très bon prix, imbattable surtout avec le petit déjeuner inclu même si celui ci n’est pas très varié (on a le choix entre 2 choses). Il est possible de louer des scooters directement depuis l’hostel.

Les chambres et salles de bain sont très rustiques. Le lavabo de la salle de bain ne tenait plus très droit au mur. Rien n’est fournis : savon, shampoing, sèche cheveux, serviette, contrairement à d’autres hostels. Le ménage pourrait être fait plus en profondeur (des mégots de cigarette traînait dans la douche commune pendant tout le temps où je séjournais la).

Qualità molto bassa! - colazione (solo un panino con delle uova o una zuppa di Nuddles.. no frutta o altre opzioni, nemmeno qualcosa da bere! ) - se non volete sciogliervi completamente, non prenotate la camera con due letti perché il caldo è insopportabile - lo staff non è interessato minimamente ai suoi ospiti - il servizio lavanderia orribile: tutti i nostri vestiti erano per terra e abbiamo dovuto raccoglierli - ogni sera c’erano birre e piatti usati ovunque - pasta alla bolognese che era piccantissima (senza essere menzionato nel menù) Ci sono tantissimi posti che hanno un prezzo anche più basso ma con una qualità e attenzione 10 volte superiore.

I really liked the common area space and the water park. The time of year (June) it was very hot and swimming each day in the fresh cool river was a highlight of my stay. The general vibe is very relaxing and charming. The amenities are basic but I liked it this way.

I would have appreciated an included towel, and body soap in the bathrooms (since most other accomodations on my travels so far have included these things, I felt it was missing here.

maybe the late check in guest should be in a seperate room... many times people check in at midnight or 3 in the morning... also a better isolation of the rooms can save the owner a lot of electricity costs...

The price is exceptional and the water park is super cool. The location on the river makes for a wonderful view.
