Very bad in terms of housekeeping. Called few times, but there is no housekeeping done for the whole day.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness was not in to my standard, but I would say room and bathroom was clean enough. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed it. Having a gym is a plus! Overall our stay was good and comfortable.

There was no welcome drink or anything upon arrival and this is the first hotel I came across such 😄

It’s located next to a construction site that constructs at night! The tabletop surfaces were found NOT to have been wiped. The staff are also slow to react. Who gives only 2 500ml water bottles for 2 guests? Disappointing!

parking was very chaotic in the carpark - had to go round and round in circles altho there are allocated red lots, the non-stop construction at the new RTS (24hr) was bad, the food at the lounge spread was lacking (tho understood this is subset from the allocated dinning)

Room: The room was amazing. We were able to check in early at 2pm and the front desk staff were super helpful and friendly the whole time. Everything about the stay felt well taken care of. Room Service: My wife stayed in and ordered room service while I went out to catch the Chelsea vs JDT match that night and she said the food and service were perfect. Overall: Everything about our stay was great from check-in to the little touches along the way. Would definitely recommend!

We had a really comfortable stay. The room was very spacious and came with a separate living area and kitchenette, which made the whole place feel more like a cosy apartment than a typical hotel room. The bathroom was huge, and I especially loved the nice bathtub — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bed was also very comfortable, and we had such a good night’s sleep. Overall, the spacious layout, comfortable bed, large bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette made our stay very enjoyable. Definitely a great option for a relaxing and comfortable stay in JB!

Requested for additional bed. Hotel did not note with confirmation and at check in, was informed that none was available and I was left stranded Breakfast food was ran out and long queues and selected is sad. Ended up heading out for breakfast instead

Love the free upgrade, great amenities; self laundry mat , game console to chill out and the gym. A good spread of breakfast to choose from and decent tasting. All the staff are truly helpful and friendly.

Personally find the bed a little too soft, not a big issue but just a personal opinion. And with the construction ongoing walking over from CIQ is not advisable if you are coming with big big luggage and kids. But nevertheless once the construction is complete, I am pretty sure it will be so much more accessible to walk from CIQ.

The entire hotel looked both presentable and welcoming. It was also clean and had no stench nor odour.

The area where I had to pass through from parking at the red lot to the lift lobby was overall dim and had (1) a steep ramp and (2) a door with a small raised curb which was not helpful since luggage’s have wheels. Will be good to redo the ramps so that it is easier for guests, especially those who have more than one luggage during their stay. A more lighted area also helps guests feel more secure. Also, in the room (the one with the bathtub) there is a small raised curb leading into the bedroom where I had almost tripped twice. Will be good to place a small ramp in there to prevent guests from tripping unknowingly. Thirdly, for room service meals in the room where there would be leftover food as the serving was large, the leftovers food would be left in the kitchenette and there was no other option to, say, place the plates outside the door. Will be good to have some instructions on where to place the plates that have leftover food so that it does not stink up the room thereafter and more efficient for staff to collect these and head back to the kitchen.

The room is big and clean. It has gym and self-services washing room, it’s comfortable. Besides, the location is great, very close to Singapore.

A short trip down to JB with front row views of the never-ending JB-Singapore traffic right from our stay near the border. Quite fascinating watching the city move day and night! This chic hotel residence offers what it promises - stylish, modern and connected accommodation. Food was good, staff were friendly and room was spacious.

However, I don’t quite understand the layout of the bathroom - it’s spacious yet not fully functional. You take a shower in the bathtub and water spilled over to the floor (guaranteed!) And the towel is hanged quite far from the bathtub.

Got the room quite late and the staff was very nice to give me a late check-out. It was my 2nd stay with them and theg have made quite a bit of improvment in terms of their room cleaniness.

great room - spacious, comfortable bed (not too soft) and pillows, the gym was very well equipped. the staff were also very friendly and helpful. it's a great stay really.

the parking was a little bit complicated to get to (though staff were helpful), the location isn't the most accessible by foot - it is near CIQ but quite a long detour by car.

Room is very spacious and has a mini kitchen for reheating food and sink for washing. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Hotel is located on the 'wrong' side of the Central area. You can see the hotel but cannot cross over due to the heavy construction in the area. Even the cars got to make a big round to reach the hotel.

The decor is a bit bare - empty spaces which make the room feel cold . Location although not far from CIQ , it’s a bit challenging to walk to if with luggage and children . It prob will be better when the train station is up as it’s next to it . Right now, it’s inconvenient.

The size of the room is good but toilet is too big

Toiletry and coffee tea, cups and spoon just enough for 2 pax. Room cleaning only clean the bed but not any other, cups didn't wash or keep. This is very disappointed.

It was clean and convenient for those who just came in from Singapore it’s like 5 mins away from the customs. The room was spacious and the bed is so comfortable to sleep on. The toilet is so clean and shampoos body wash is available. The facilities of the lights is well planned. Get to see the view from customs and the sea. Had a great breakfast meal with sandwiches, variety of breads, standard English breakfast and variety of drinks and coffee. The price is fair.

The cons about it is when you taking grab from somewhere to go back to the hotel there will always be a traffic jam due to vehicles queuing for entering Singapore.

I liked the ambience and ample room size plus the staff service and friendliness was impressive.

There aren't many F&B options within walking distance from the property so I opted for the hotel breakfast. Although there was a good spread, I felt that the food was mediocre at best.

The room is very clean,4 pillows were firm,everything about the hotel is superb.Swimming pool is very clean and can get a good workout.

Like many hotels in JB, some idiot smokers will spoil the experience for the majority and pollute the clean air.I have told the stuff there and I hope in coming years a hefty fine of 10,000 by law will be imposed.

I’ve stayed at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru multiple times over the past few times now (around 5-6 stays), and it has usually been my go-to option whenever I’m in JB. Overall, my past experiences have been positive, which is why I continue returning. However, this recent stay highlighted a couple of issues that were quite disappointing for a property of this standard. Firstly, during check-in, the staff forgot to return my passport. I only realised this after going up to my room and had to head back down to retrieve it. This is not a minor oversight — handling guests’ identification documents should be a basic and critical part of the check-in process. Secondly, it was heavily raining during my stay, and there were no umbrellas available in the room or at the concierge. When I asked, I was informed that they were waiting for stock from HQ. Given that the hotel has been operating for quite some time, this felt like a lack of operational preparedness, especially in a country where heavy rain is common. While I still appreciate the overall consistency of the hotel from my previous stays, these lapses did affect the experience this time. I hope the management can address these gaps, as I would otherwise still consider staying here again in the future.
