We had a really pleasant and comfortable stay. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable. The service was excellent and everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt very well taken care of.

I was disappointed by the service at the fruit juicing station.When I tried to ask the staff member making the juices a quick question about the juices i want, he appeared very impatient and dismissive. Instead of being helpful, his attitude made me feel like I was bothering him just for asking about the ingredients.I understand that the restaurant can get busy, but a welcoming attitude is highly important to customers. I hope you can address this with the team member to ensure a more positive experience for others in the future.

The upgrade of the GYM was impressive

The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming, and once again, they made our stay feel extra special. I had previously stayed here to celebrate my birthday, so when I was looking for a place to stay for my friend’s bride-to-be celebration, I was happy to return. This was my second stay, and the hotel did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary cake and a handmade card waiting for us in the room. The card was hand-drawn, which made it feel especially thoughtful and personal. The complimentary warm-baked cookies for each of us were also a lovely touch. We also had the chance to enjoy the hotel facilities this time. The steam room and jacuzzi were lovely, and fortunately, we had them to ourselves, so it felt very private and relaxing. There were also plenty of shower facilities, which made it convenient to freshen up before heading back to the room. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep. We also noticed that there is a pillow menu, although we didn’t get a chance to try it this time, perhaps next time! Overall, it was another lovely stay, and I really appreciate how the thoughtful little touches from the staff made our celebrations feel special. I would happily return again.

Double Tree really has their standards internationally. Love the cookies upon check in. Room is bright and clean and has no musky smell. Bedsheets and pillows were spotless and clean. Hotel slippers were really comfortable, it is thicker and fluffy compared to other hotels. Breakfast spread was really good.

The place was family friendly with activities for your kiddos and certain times. The staff were really friendly, warm and welcoming. On the day of check out, they were nice to tell us that we can leave our luggage with the concierge if we still wanted to wander around JB.

Overall the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Love the walnut cookies that they gave for complimentary.

There was no complimentary drink. We could not use the swimming pool and sit at the swimming area to relax. Eventhough the swimming was close, they let us let around the pool to enjoy the view in the evening and get some fresh air. These was no valet parking.

Hilton Doubletree is the benchmark I use to measure any other hotels or accommodations in the city. They have some of the most amazing staff and they work really hard to accommodate the guests. Great restaurants, pool, the massage facility is the gold standard (operated by a third party, no sexual services) rivalling some of the best in the business.

Age is showing at the property and it would be prudent for the property owners to consider investing more into capable technicians and handyman who can fix up the little things in the property. Inspection and fixing stuff. This is integral to a branded property like Doubletree.

I had a very disappointing experience. Shortly after I checked in, another guest unlocked my room and attempted to enter. Thankfully, I had engaged the security latch. They even said, “Why haven’t you checked out? This is our room today.” I had literally just checked in, so it was shocking that my room had apparently been assigned to someone else. This is a serious security issue that should never happen, especially at a hotel of this standard. The second issue was the air conditioning. I returned to my room around 2:00 a.m. after attending a wedding, only to find the room unbearably hot. I tried turning the air conditioning off and on again, and even took a shower hoping it would cool down, but nothing changed. I was sweating until around 3:30 a.m. and eventually fell asleep only because I was completely exhausted. The room remained hot throughout the night, and I woke up in the morning still sweating because the air conditioning had never cooled the room. To make matters worse, I later found out that my friend’s room had the exact same air conditioning issue, so it clearly wasn’t an isolated incident. This was far below what I expected from a 5-star hotel. Between the serious security lapse and the widespread air conditioning problem, the experience felt more like staying in a budget hotel while paying for 5-star service and rates. I am extremely disappointed.

The staff was warm and friendly and very quick to act on requests from customers. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The toilet was clean and the shower pressure was strong.

It’s very clean and the breakfast is superb.

The air con was a bit noisy. Although we were offered by receptionist to change the room, we find it too troublesome to move the luggage around since it was our last night.

The location and the facilities were great

The breakfast buffet service and experience was not acceptable at all. Went in more than an hour before the end of service, but they were out of almost all milk options in the dispensers. Was told that they will serve to the table, but it never arrived (the counter staff looked very confused and didn’t know where the refills were). The roasted potato dish was not edible at all - there was sand as if they haven’t washed the vegetables before cooking. Very disappointing experience - we were in a rush to leave so didn’t get a chance to report this to anyone at the hotel.
