Location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious!

4th time staying, love the rooms and outdoor set up
the room was great with wonderful Ocean View as I had requested. Beach was great and close.
The pool could have been cleaned more often. Lots of people.
The parking
The indoor pool was very old and disgusting. Full of sand. Not well maintained. There was a dirty diaper mixed in the curtains. Water was leaking from the ac unit in the ceiling. The building is old and needs major repairs.
To preface this review, my family and I have been staying at this property for about 25 years. We stay for the incredible ocean view, and now for the new pool area, firepit and the convenient outdoor restaurant. The guys who work the pool bar are Ocean City staples and do not disappoint with their yummy drinks and cool, friendly service. I was excited to learn the rooms had been renovated. The kitchen is spacious with lots of storage space and new appliances. The paint, room fixtures and bedding were all improved. We liked the new mirror and hooks near the room entrance and there was plenty of drawers and counter space. I had hoped for big improvements after the recent renovations and higher prices ($836 for two nights), but the hotel still has issues. Upon getting off the elevator on the 5th floor, we were hit with a horrible smell...rotting trash? dirty water?...it was a constant smell that extended down the hallway. When we got to our room, there was a pair of dirty socks on the chair and trash in one of the drawers. The carpet in our room was filthy (my biggest complaint from pre-reno time). Do they need new vacuum cleaners? We had to slam the bathroom door for it to close, the mattresses are creaky, bumpy, saggy and uncomfortable. Most annoying was the moisture in the room...the carpets and bedding all felt wet. Paper on the counters and even our clothes took on the moisture. We had an overall "ick" feeling whenever we were in the room, which wasn't often given the feel. Going back to the room each night felt disappointing. Housekeepoing skipped our room even though we were out before they go to our area. The two pool bouncers who sit near the hot tub to hand out writsbands to guests may need to be retrained. It's frustrating to plan to spend the whole day at the pool and have NON-GUESTS pull up chairs to the foot of our poolside lounges. Their chairs were literally touching my husbands lounge chair and another was touching my son's feet as he laid by the pool. They were also blocking the walkway. Someone with a stroller had to ask them to scoot back so they could walk around the pool. They freely admitted they lived on 64th street and were there to see the pool singer. The two wristband employees did not get up once. They also allowed children under 15 to rule the hottub. Upon checkout (only there for 2 nights), I offered information on the condition of our room, but got complete indifference from the front desk staff. Just like past years, I left feeling disappointed, swearing I woulnd't return. After this time, I will not.
Location, pool and restaurant
Price was a bit high
Audrey and Terrand made our experience at Ocean City very positive. They were helpful when we wanted to add an extra day to our stay and made my girlfriend’s birthday a special time! We will definitely stay here again.
We spent 4 nights here with our grandson. We booked here since the Holiday Inn down on the Boardwalk had rooms that cost over $100 more per night than this location. We were glad we chose it. Hotel is in a good location, short walk to beach and also several dining options within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. Hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool. Outdoor pool is a good size but is usually crowded by lunchtime. If you want a quiet pool, the indoor pool was usually empty and it was heated but not as large as the outdoor pool. The pool has a bar and restaurant that serves lunch, we had lunch there twice and the food was pretty good. Had one dinner at the on site restaurant A Taste of Italy had a very good meal. The food was delicious and the cocktails were well made. We also had good dinners at the Bonfire and Dead Freddy's, both of which were a short walk from the hotel. Room was good size, had an outdoor balcony with a view of the pool and partial view of the ocean. Room was clean and the decor was very beachy. Room has a full size fridge and a stove with 2 burners (along with some utensils and pots/pans). If a family wanted to cook their meals in the room instead of going out, that could be done here. Hotel has plenty of parking as there is a lot in front of the hotel and an overflow lot on the other side of 67th street. Service here was good and the workers were friendly. If you want to travel to the Boardwalk or one of the amusement parks, there is a beach shuttle that runs on Coastal Highway and will take you to those places. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Ocean City MD and I would highly recommend it.
Oceanfront
Outdated, lots of dampness in room, earwigs in room and on bed. Balcony covered with previous guests hairs. Pool water was very cloudy and was not healthy to be in coming from a CPO. Rat traps right outside of balcony’s on the first floor were also not a good look.
Terrand was amazing! After a long day of travel and delays, he welcomed us warmly, answered all our questions, and made us feel right at home. Excellent service, very friendly, and truly went above and beyond. Thank you, Terrand, for making our stay so special!
Loved the swings and hammocks on the property loved swim up bar an I don’t drink😂
Just the carpets all though everything was clean an wonderful and I completely understand why they have to be there.(everyone would be slip and sliding coming from the pool and the sound )I think you would absolutely be a 10 out 10 otherwise🥰
The ambiance of the outdoor pool, hot tub and fire pit was really nice! Having a pool and ocean view was lovely. Having two burners to cook and a full size fridge was convenient as well. Lenny, our room attendant was kind and so were the front desk staff!!
The cleanliness inside of the hotel was disappointing. Having no cameras along with a room door that had a huge gap made me question my safety. The balcony flooring and closet ceiling was piling and the room table was rusted (they replaced it with a nicer one)! The cost far exceeded the value, I expected more!
The location was good. The hotel was clean. The pool area including the lounges in the upper deck and sand was unique. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
The house keeping staff forgot to clean our room but when I called someone was sent to clean. It was just an oversight.
We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites on 67th Street in Ocean City while attending a conference and extended our stay an additional night for personal use. Unfortunately, despite some great features, our overall experience left us unable to recommend the property. The outdoor pool area is easily the highlight of the resort. It appears to have been recently renovated and is beautiful, inviting, and fun—exactly the atmosphere you want from an Ocean City resort. The balcony was also a nice feature, and there have clearly been some cosmetic updates to the kitchens and bathroom fixtures. Unfortunately, the interior of the hotel tells a very different story. The rooms are on the smaller side, and while some surfaces and fixtures have been updated, the underlying property feels dated and worn. The walls, carpeting, and common areas show their age. Rather than additional cosmetic improvements, the hotel seems to need a much more substantial renovation of its aging infrastructure. The biggest issue—and ultimately the reason for the twostar rating—was that we encountered two roaches in our room during our stay. One was crawling on me in the middle of the night, and we later found another in the bathroom. That completely changed how comfortable we felt in the room and overshadowed the positive aspects of the property. I do want to acknowledge that when we reported the problem, the property manager was responsive and made an effort to accommodate us, which we appreciated. However, seeing multiple roaches raises concerns for me that the problem may extend beyond an isolated incident in a single room. It’s genuinely unfortunate because the outdoor amenities have so much going for them. The pool area creates the experience of a refreshed, inviting resort, but the condition of the interior—and especially the pest issue—doesn’t live up to that experience. The last thing anyone wants to do after a stay like that is meticulously go through each item of clothing, vacuum and inspect every suitcase to ensure no bugs were transported home with them. Given what happened during our stay, I could not in good faith stay at this property again.
Did not have breakfast
The pool could have been cleaner
The hotel was amazing and the view to the ocean amazing. Easily accessible to the ocean.
The only thing was the air in the room could of been a little colder.
It was on the beach and had a swim up bar.
The pool was not cleaned and they never came to clean the rooms. We had to ask for towels everyday.
The amenities, Location, and kids activities
The rooms were mildew and mold smelling And the carpeting definitely need cleaned
The location and the pool
The front desk staff
The updates are excellent and the pool area is the best in the area in my opinion
I didn’t have any issues with the property.
For the 2nd year in a row and the 2nd time this year, my family and I always have a wonderful time at OC Holiday Inn @ 67th St. The ocean views are amazing, access to the beach is steps away, the outdoor pool is a great size and not too deep, and the swim up bar is awesome. The hotel and the amenities already make it a top notch hotel in the area, but what sets it apart is the A+ staff. Specifically Roxy and Audrey. Roxy was able to make my back to back bookings seemless and was also kind enough to accommodate our request of a high floor. Audrey is such a sweetheart. She was always smiling when she greeted us and she even remembered my kids from when we last stayed. My kids love the treasure chest at the front desk and she always made sure they got to pick from it when we saw her. Between the location, hotel extras and the incredible staff we made this Holiday Inn @ OC our yearly family vacation. We love coming back and we're never disappointed when we arrive.
The pool bar was amazing- i wish it stayed open a little later. The food was also great!
The house keeping can be better. They only made our beds, didn't give us clean towels or fill up the soap in shower, or vacuum from the sand etc. We were a family of 4 with 2 small children, so the room got messy at times. . Also- I found a dirty disgusting crusty towel underneath vanity in the bathroom Im not sure how long it was there for but def was not from us! Also- the sheets were damp the first night & the pillows smelt like old sweat .. like they were not changed.. kinda gross..
The hotel isn’t the newest but the amenities are excellent and their customer service was absolutely excellent! Martha at the front desk made everyone feel special and like they were at a true resort.
Overall nice place to stay and I would stay again the future. Nice pool, pool bar and beach area which were most important to me. We had a pool/oceanfront room which had a great view and was a good choice. My only cons are room was poorly lit with only 1 lamp on the cabinet and the two lights over the nightstand between the beds were very, very dim and you definitely could not read if you wanted to. Also, WIFI was very weak and we often lost connection. Bathroom was very small as well.
Pool area was great, loved the hot tub and swim up bar. Location was nice, right on the beach. Had places to eat and shop right across the street. Good music during the day and friendly staff.
Restaurant had longer wait times. Arcade was tiny and machines weren’t working great. People saving seats at the pool before it opened so then there were no available seats.
The ait condition was barley keeping the room cool.
Stayed for one night at the end of our vacation. Pool is nice and really big. The deepest part is 4.5 feet I believe so kids can still jump in but you can walk the whole thing. It also has a really cool walk in and steps in shallow end and benches in “deep” end. There is a swim up bar with stools in the water. Pretty cool, they do have drinks for adults and kids. But beware and double check they have no alcohol because we were given a drink with alcohol in it when we asked for no alcohol. Good thing we checked before letting kids take a sip. Pool can get pretty crowded but it’s big and morning time it’s even less crowded. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Patio had 2 locks on it which I liked, nice view. Patio sliding door did a good job at keeping room quiet. Room did have a musty smell in it when you walked in. There is a fridge, toaster which we used. Keurig is there but it looked dirty inside so we didn’t use. The lobby also had a nice scent when you walked in and parking was convenient but you have to pay $10 a day. Liked the location of this hotel, very central.
This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel and must say this time was the best. We were in Ocean City for a dance competition again. The service was great during our stay. The entire staff was courteous and respectful to the guests. The front dest was always attentive to the guests needs, the check-in was quick, the housekeeping did an excellent job and the staff around the pool area was also great. It appears that all the rooms have been renovated at this time. Our room was very clean, a good size and having the kitchenette really came in helpful. The pool area is top notch and the accessibility to the beach was awesome. One of our friends had already checked out and realized he had left his wallet in the safe, containing a large sum of money and numerous credit cards. He called the hotel and had me go to the front desk to retrieve it. It was handed over to me and all of the money and credit cards were still inside. A big shout out to Ernesto and Nesha. They were the staff members to locate the wallet and did the right thing. Also, a big compliment to the Vlad (General Manager), who was extremely helpful as well. He and his staff displayed integrity, which unfortunately isn't always the case. Highly recommend this hotel!!!
The amenities
Baby crib was old and mattress was horrible
This was our first time staying at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. This hotel was very clean and well maintained, something that can be hard to come by at a beach hotel. We constantly saw staff cleaning and wiping areas down both inside and outside the property. The pools and decks were thoroughly cleaned each evening when the pool closed and again in the morning before it opened. You will find a lot of kids at this hotel, it can be loud and rowdy at the pool area and they were noisy in the halls at night. It seems like they get a lot of teams and groups staying here and at times they tend to take over the pools and hot tubs but we were here for the beach and the beach was wonderful. I might inquire next time we are planning a stay to see if there would be any large groups and perhaps choose an alternate week if possible. We found the location that is more on the north end of Ocean City to be ideal for us and it was easy to get wherever we needed to be. The hotel has plenty of parking available but you do have to pay $10 per day. The rooms are large and have full kitchens in them. Having a real refrigerator and freezer in the room was a huge perk for us, we could keep plenty of drinks and snacks in the room and we were able re-freeze our ice packs for the coolers each night. We chose a pool/ocean view room and loved how large the balcony was. The view was wonderful and we had plenty of extra space out there to keep our beach chairs and toys out of the way. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back the next time we come to Ocean City. It is definitely not a budget hotel but I do think you are getting what you paid for with this hotel.
Location
Bathroom NO ventilation and everything was always wet. Pool bar & restaurant hours where absolute absurd!!
Good location and no parking issues.
Allowed groups to be noisy in the outdoor common area up to midnight.
Misleading room description and poor staff communication led to a frustrating stressful weekend. The website states “separate bedroom.” Staff told us the room had a separate door to the bedroom. Both statements are false. The king suite describes the room as a separate bedroom. The pictures all appear the same for every room even when the descriptions change. I called the hotel to verify the room layout. A woman at the fronts desk said the king suites were a true one bedroom with the bedroom separated from the kitchen/living by a door. We booked the hotel with our daughter and our in-laws booked a room as well. When we arrived, we quickly learned the rooms are not one bedrooms with a door. I went to the front desk to ask. A woman at the front desk again described that king suites had a separate door but regular king rooms did not. She said this holiday inn did not have king suites (only 17th street holiday inn does) and that we had a regular king room. However, when you go to the holiday inn website or hotels.com (which we used) both call the room a king suite. Had we been given correct information, we would not have booked this hotel. Putting our daughter to bed in the same room meant we sat silent pretty early in the night. It was exactly like those air bnb commercials showcasing how awful hotel stays can be.
Stay was pleasant.
Was construction in areas of property, however, we were informed prior to arrival. Look forward to our return trip with less construction.

I really love the view, was clean, and had everything you needed.
Lack of cameras. Update hallway.

The rooms were clean and had nice furniture. Both the bathroom and kitchenette were very nice. The attached restaurant was SOOOO good. Every dish and desert was five stars. The pool was nice, the pool bar was fun, and the beach was a ten foot walk. ALL of the staff were very professional and friendly. It felt good.
No room service.
Audrey was great and super helpful. Love the kitchenette.
Rooms recently remodeled and look great. Staff was wonderful. Great location. Will definitely be booking again soon!
The staff was so amazing so helpful very knowledgeable and caring. The hotel was the very clean and the staff took pride and keeping it that way. Amazing views plenty to do around and at the location. Special thanks to Naisha. And Terroda
The friendliness of the staff. Went out of their way to make us comfortable.
The prices in the restaurant.
I loved the room and the view, and I loved the outdoor pool
The amount of weed we would smell every night coming from down the hall
We come at least 3 times a year. Not all hotels are created equal, and you certainly can’t go on looks alone. Very rare to have an issue but they are quick to resolve it if you do. Lindsay and Aneyah at the front desk are always polite, respectful, and smiling, a great start to a trip. Normally I don’t post this next part but work ethic is something I pride myself on. With 3 little boys, 8, 10, and 13, we were sitting on the balcony, rain falling as we watch the outdoor pool area. In the rain, Greg continues to weed the garden and sweep the mulch from the area. This is clearly not just a job to him. This shouldn’t be lost anyone. Lessons can be learned in surprising places sometime! For others who may have been here before, the outdoor pool heater has been fixed and works amazingly, especially on a brisk day.
Loved the view and atmosphere.
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and nicely appointed room.
Elevators were a little confusing
Location
It was dusting and they were working inside the building
The hotel was nice service was good room was ok clean and setifed
The property was a good location
My room was hot as hell but that was only cause the cool unit went out the day we got there.
Staff very nice and kindly gave us bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary
All was good but had some construction projects being done. None was too bad except around elevator
Friendly staff
After being overwhelmed by a neighbor smoking cigars on the balcony for hours, we cut our vacation short. Management did nothing. Hope we don’t get hit with cleaning fee since smoke was really bad. If you have respiratory issues recommend going elsewhere! Management said individual comes frequently to hotel. Smoke was like a snudgepot. Otherwise hotel being renovated.
Location
Poorly maintained, horrible smell of incense trying to cover up another foul smell. Construction projects everywhere, staff smoking right next to the only entrance/exit all day everyday. Room had broken shelves and sliding doors. Low grade toiletries, and they rationed the 1-ply toilet paper out like it was WW2. Worse than a budget motel standard
Nice room and quiet.
