Camera grande ed accogliente; yukata e ciabatte disponibili per girare nella struttura; onsen privata pulita e molto carina. Colazione e cena tradizionali, abbondanti, personale di sala molto gentile. Si possono lasciare autonomamente i bagagli alla reception (Front) anche prima del check-in.

Tutto bene. Sarebbe bello avere un'area interna o esterna per poter passeggiare, prendere un thè, uno spazio comune.

This was a wonderful rest after the busy times in Tokyo. The staff are exceptional and warm, and the hot spring cured our exhaustion. The food just kept coming and was very very tasty!

The time for the dinner was to short - we felt somehow pushed to come to an end - it was a bit a pity because it was such a great Japanese meal

Everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The private onsen was lovely, and you are allocated a 50 minute slot on check in, so I would recommend arriving as close to 3pm as possible to not potentially lose out on this or dinner. We loved the dinner and breakfast, where you are served lots of small Japanese dishes that were prepared very well.

Los baños termales y en general la localización del sitio, estaba todo muy bonito y la verdad es que me gustó mucho la experiencia en general.

El desayuno y la cena eran muy tradicionales, quizás si eres de Japón estás más acostumbrado pero para mi se me hizo un poco difícil poder comerme todo, seguramente por la diferencia cultural.

No nos sirvieron la cena en la habitación nos pusieron un horario de cena obligatorio a las 17:30 , te meten muchísima prisa para que termines pronto de cenar. El horario del Onsen a las 7:30 de la mañana y no nos explicaron que lel Onsen de agua termal estaba en la parte de fuera, con lo cual solo nos bañamos en una bañera. Vistas a un descampado. Para no repetir.

Die Zimmer waren sehr traditionell. Das Kaiseki Menu war überragend. Die privaten Onsen wurden für einen festen Zeitraum pro Zimmer reserviert. Das Personal war super freundlich.

Es ist etwas abgelegen, hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört. Die Betten sind super hart. Die Zimmer waren etwas nüchtern, ein paar Bilder an den Wänden würden es authentischer wirken lassen.

I booked this stay to experience an authentic ryokan, and it delivered — dinner and breakfast were both excellent and exactly the authentic Japanese ryokan experience I was looking for. The staff were super nice and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the onsen was lovely, with a family-friendly private booking option that was great to have.

The modern elements in the room and furniture are looking a little weary. We booked two rooms, and one of them (on the ground floor) had a damp smell - understandable given the age of the building, though it feels like something that could be solved. The room at the top floor had no such an issue. The sound insulation between the ground floor and the top floor was rather poor - someone else above us had a difficult night, which unfortunately made our own stay a little less enjoyable.

Room was lovely and clean. Had a wonderful dinner - staff were extremely accomodating of my allergies. Gave me a very inclusive experience. Onsen was nice - grateful to experience it twice with warmer water.

The shower / wash-down area in onsen was cold for our session. Staff fixed it and gave us a second timeslot. Issue with other guests in our onsen second timeslot - they were in the wrong room.

Personale poco accogliente ma soprattutto la cena comunicata al mattino del arrivo per le ore 17.30 improrogabile. Ancora peggio ricevere tutti di portata , di buona qualità, per esser consumati nel arco di 40 minuti ricevendo invito del personale al 50' minuto per lasciare il tavolo in quanto a seguire avevano ulteriore cena programmata con ospiti esterni al riokan Ottimo posto per mangiare e dormire ma pessimo se si vuole l'esperienza del relax del riokan. Non consigliamo questa struttura se si vuole fare l'esperienza di un riokan

I loved my stay at this onsen. The room is spacious and spotless clean. Loved the experience of sleeping on a futon. The property is nicely maintained and feels special with little touches like sweets upon arrival. Delicious breakfast is an experience in itself. Sengokuhara area is beautiful. I travelled without a car, and had no problem with buses. I walked to Sengokuhara Susuki Grass Fields, and there were just stunning Alpine views along the way. I travelled during the Obon week, and there was a local festival with dancing which was wonderful to watch.

Absolutely excellent food and the short hair lady during dinner was exceptional, graceful and elegant. A saving grace for our stay. We appreciated the clothes, socks and slippers provided - it really added something to the overall experience. The hot spring was also amazing and the facilities there were great.

The futon was too thin and the pillows hard. (This is not our first time sleeping on a tatami floor with a futon btw) We went to this onsen to relax (which we did after the dinner and bath) and were looking forward to a good night sleep and reset but.. that didn’t happen. Also the bathroom had a urinal smell and the wallpaper in the room had stains. Finally, we booked Mountain View room but there was a construction site under our window.

La ubicación, los servicios, la atención del personal es espectacular. El onsen muy limpio como todo en Japón . La comida y desayunos de 10, lo calidad con una calidad y atención que no hemos visto en otro lugar en Japón .

El hotel es precioso, súper bonito. Las habitaciones son grandes, tienen de todo. El omsen es maravilloso, disfrutas de las aguas y el baño con una paz brutal. La experiencia de dormir en una habitación tradicional es muy chula y cenar y desayunar cocina tradicional japonesa también. Y son súper amables. El lugar transmite paz, y está todo limpísimo.

Lo único que eche en falta, es que el hotel es solo el edificio y un aparcamiento, así que no hay ningún lugar exterior, jardín o algo así, donde estar sentado un rato. Es precioso pero solo el edificio y su interior. En el exterior no hay nada.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten im Onsen entspannen und wir haben das fantastische Essen sehr genossen! Auch auf unsere Essenswünsche (vegetarisch) wurde Rücksicht genommen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Personalet var virkelig søde. Stedet var hyggeligt og maden var spændende og af traditionel karakter.

Placeringen var lidt langt ude og sengene + puderne var meget hårde. Onsens var ok. Der var et indenfor og et udendørs.

La habitación es tal y como se muestra en las fotografías y cuenta con su baño privado. La comida en general estaba muy buena y era abundante. A nuestro parecer lo más espectacular, además del entorno, eran los baños privados onsen, que disfrutamos mucho en pareja y que estaban totalmente limpios y cuidados. Cuentan con una sala interior y otra al aire libre con cubierta y disponen de dos de ellas para todos los huéspedes. Ellos te asignan los horarios tanto de la cena y del desayuno, como del baño. No nos encajó mal y no dijimos nada, pero no sé si podrían ser más flexibles o no con ello. El entorno del parque natural es muy bonito y si vais en coche a menos de 5 minutos está un lago precioso que se puede visitar tranquilamente.

Mayor flexibilidad previa para quizá elegir los horarios sobre todo del desayuno, para quizá haber descansado un poco más. La primera ronda es a las 7 y quizá es algo pronto si quieres relajarte y no mirar el reloj.

El Onsen privado y la naturaleza de la zona para hacer senderismo

Baño que no se podía entrar, y las vistas que dan a una obra.

Sin duda, el onsen y la comida. El personal de cocinas fue súper amable con nosotros. Un encanto y todo riquísimo.

Llegamos por la tarde porque parte del grupo tuvo que volverse a España por una urgencia médica y la señora no fue excesivamente amable. Creo que es porque no nos entendía pero no hizo por entendernos. Cuando llegas es cuando coges el horario del onsen y como llovía muchísimo nos costó llegar y llegamos y nos dieron de 22:00 a 22:50. Imaginad que si te sirven la cena a las 7 y media y a las 8 y media has comido, esperar para el onsen hasta las 10 de la noche fue terrible. Como solo íbamos por una noche abandonábamos el hotel muy temprano y por la mañana no nos daba tiempo. Deberían de gestionarlo de otra forma. Es muy caro para una sola noche y si llueve no puedes hacer nada salvo que cojas el bus y te vayas a la zona de tiendas a 40 minutos.

We wanted a traditional Japanese experience and that’s exactly what we got. The hotel was located in a remote area but close to the bus stop. Hakone is a beautiful place, with its beautiful landscapes. The hotel is traditional in every sense. Rooms with traditional beds and lounge area. Rooms are big and mostly comfortable. We enjoyed our time in the private Onsen which was limited to 40min. We also enjoyed the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast it was a great experience.

Didn’t like the bed as it hurt my back but it’s part of the experience and no fault of the hotel.

Das Essen war hervorragend und die Küche war sehr bemüht auf unseren Sohn (11) - mag keinen Fisch, mag kein Fleisch - einzugehen. Am besten vorab Bescheid geben. Der private Onsen ist sehr schön. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Wir reisen mit Bus und Bahn. Die Bushaltestellen sind in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ebenso der botanische Garten von Hakone.

It's traditional Japanese house, they offer amazing Kaiseki style breakfast and dinner. It's quite an experience. The hotel has private hot spring bath, we booked night time, very nice to have private hot spring bath to end the day.

The dinner was wonderful. The breakfast was also very nice. Both came out in multiple courses and work carefully prepared to explore cultural dishes.

The rooms themselves were very small for the price and the view was nice, but not as impressive as I’d imagined from the pictures. There was construction ongoing right in front of the property and the onsen itself was quite small and faced a wooden wall.

It was off the beaten path in Hakone which got us farther away from the high tourist traffic. The staff was wonderful. I ended up getting a bad sinus headache and they gave warm compresses which really saved me. We had a small mix up with the times we were booked for the onsen but it ended up working out for the best as we got to enjoy a soak at night during a light rain. It was incredibly peaceful. This hotel is not too far from a bus stop but it is also quite out of the way. That was a huge plus for my husband and I as we wanted to have a more personal, intimate experience instead of something geared towards tourists.

I’m finding it difficult to find anything we did not like about the property. Everyone and the experience was amazing.

Le dîner et petit déjeuner sont pour moi cher. Pas d'eau à table, il faut demander au verre. Aucune explication sur le dîner, pour ce prix là j'aurais aimé découvrir un peu plus (dans quel ordre manger les plats, recevoir un menu ? On ne savait pas ce que l'on mangeait) Le manque de proactivite du personnel : j'apprends le matin à 6h par message que nous avons jusqu'à 9h pour réserver le repas du soir. J'ai répondu à 9h47 > pas de repas possible. Nous avons donc réservé pour le le demain. Les horaires absolument pas flexible : pdj tard (8h45) on a demandé si 8h ok - on nous a répondu que non. Repas du soir 17h30... et servi en 30'. Expérience middle pour 11K par personne sans boisson. Aussi, la vue de la chambre est HORRIBLE sur un parking déserte et en travaux - nous n'avons jamais été mis au courant (nous avons prix une chambre avec vue sur rue calme - photo mensongère)

Beautiful property in a convenient location to get busses. The onsen and food were also great. The staff were very nice.

There was some confusion on check in regarding my wife’s dietary requirements. I messaged them immediately upon making the booking to ask if they could accommodate a vegetarian menu (because she is pregnant, she was concerned about eating certain foods). They just asked if that meant no sashimi or uncooked meat. I replied that well cooked meat was fine, but no raw fish. Upon check in, the owner seemed confused when we said my wife could not eat sashimi. This caused us some stress and anxiety, as it seems they did not record or remember our dietary request. They made accommodations with the meal when we arrived later for the food, but it was not a nice first impression. The shower room was also quite old and the water pressure was very forceful, which made taking a shower hard work.

Nous avons tout aimé sauf les heures fixes pour les repas et le bain privé qui limitent le temps pour explorer la région. Les matelas sont un peu minces et dures.

It is a classical ryokan, which is nice. The breakfast and dinner were authentic and very tasty. The indoor onsen was very nice, but the next time I would definitely go to a place with an outdoor onsen. It is a completely different experience.

1. The view is on the construction site right in the back on the building. There are mountains on the background though. 2. The rooms are not in the best condition. 3. The lady who does the check in and is the supervisor in the hotel was unfriendly. She wasn’t even at bit client oriented. She scheduled our breakfast and dinner time as well as the onsen usage time according to her/her team’s convenience. We were with the baby, so timing was very important to us. The time slots she proposed were very inconvenient for us and she didn’t care. More than that, I had to have a discussion with her about my baby getting a towel (she did give it in the end). I didn’t feel welcome at all and I wouldn’t recommend to go there with small children.

Das traditionelle Ryokan bot uns ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, besonders das Schlafen auf Futonbetten. Das Essen war jedoch das absolute Highlight. Die Qualität, Vielfältigkeit und die liebevolle Anrichtung hatten wir so nicht erwartet. Darüberhinaus war auch das private Onsen absolut entspannend und eine Empfehlung wert.

Facilities and amenities. Staffs were friendly. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious and well presented and served. The onsen was great! You can enjoy it privately as it’s booked per schedule and we had an evening and early morning one to ourselves.

Toilet water spray was not heated and the view from our window was mixed. A contruction site next to it which the property has not control off but further on, you have a magnificent view of a green hill.

The dinner was exceptional - the food was amazing and the staff at dinner were very kind and helpful. The private onsen was nice and we were able to do it once in the evening and once in the morning.

The beds were uncomfortable, but they were as described and we learned we don't like the floor mattresses.

Leider ist die Unterkunft ziemlich abgelegen und bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Die Kommunikation war in einzelnen Fällen auch eher bestimmend bzgl. Restaurant und Onsen Buchung.

Experiencia japonesa total, un viaje en el tiempo. La comida maravillosa, pruebas comidas que de normalmente no, con una calidad brutal. Onsen de 10, una maravilla de onsen, que sirve para reponer energías para el viaje. Habitación con una ambientación de 10. Toda una experiencia quedarse en esta ubicación.

The staff, cleanliness, warm hospitality, food, and amazing Onsen!

The feeling of being in a more traditional establishment, with all the comfort and coziness available, from a great air conditioner, good futon beds and a floor heater. Great bath amenities and pleasant offer of tea and coffee in the room. The ambiance of Hakone's nature is perfect to relax from a more agitated vacation coming from Tokyo or another big city. Special mention to the kaiseki dinner and breakfast, as well as the onsen. Those were the highlights of this establishment. Everything thoroughly served, super delicious, wonderful and gentle service from the staff. The onsen is beautiful and so well designed, we didn't notice the time passing. 10/10 experience!

Only small problem for us is that on one of the sliding windows there was no blackout. That allowed some light to come inside at night, which was a little troublesome to start to sleep. For one night it wasn't a bid problem, but if it were more could've been a little worse. A more darkened room is welcomed.

Le onsen privé et le côté traditionnel

Everything was perfect! Staying at this ryokan was probably the best part of our Japan trip, and I wish we had booked it for at least two nights instead of one. It was a much needed rest after 5 days of runnning around in Tokyo. I loved everything about it, the staff, the room, private onsen, dinner expereince, it was also easy to get here from the main Train station by a local bus. I would stay here again.

We really loved their amazing private onsen, but the best part was the food. For dinner and also for breakfast we had a gigantic meal with so many differend foods to try, the table was so full that there was barely any room left, however we didn't feel to stuffed because most of it was in small portions so we got to try many many types of food.

De rust en de heerlijke Japanse kamer direct naast de prive onsen, waar je na een drukke dag kon ontspannen en daarna in je kimono aan het fantastische diner kon. Niet te geloven wat we een verscheidenheid aan heerlijkheden, allemaal vers en met veel liefde bereid. De service van de medewerkers is geweldig. Voor 2 dagen Hakone echt een aanrader.
