Great location just off the Main Street, lovely staff, fridge available to use and store food to make at the hostel, beds super comfortable

Small but cozy, simple and meets the basic requirements. Friendly staff and completed with locker, hair dryer, kettle and fridge

The stairs to the hostel are quite old and dirty. People with luggage might be difficult to go upstairs.

Awesome place. Bed was super cosy and dorm so quiet at night. Hostel is 1 block from night markets. Toilet and showers clean. The cleaning lady was so kind and helpful and really fun to chat to.

Central location and really friendly staff, comfy beds. Overall it's clean and there's a small common room to hangout.

Room was very cold, we asked the staff to change the settings but by night it was literally freezing again. There is a constant weird smell near the bathrooms.

ドミトリー内はキレイで居心地が良かった。 市内中心部にありナイトマーケット、ショッピングモールが歩いてすぐ。

フロアの殆どが客室のため共有スペースが狭かった。 この宿に限らず東南アジアあるあるなのだが客室内のクーラーが効きすぎて寒いくらいだった。

Top bedden en centraal gelegen. Het is alleen niet echt een sociaal hostel. Voor ons maakte dat niet zoveel uit, want we verbleven hier samen. Het ligt erg centraal gelegen.

Dirty entrance, someone urinated in the stairs and threw food and bones. No air freshener.

A bit tight for space since there's nowhere to put your large bag/suitcase. Entrance to hostel is a bit unmaintained (smell of urine, open public access, chicken bones, fish head lol) as it's a shared staircase so can feel slightly sketchy. However, i understand hostel is limited in controlling this and once inside the secured door of hostel, everything is fine.

The staff is helpful, they have assisted me when my arrival or check-in time is late. Check-out is also very simple and easy.

I was having my late-night snack at the back, and the floor, table, and chair were too dusty, sticky and dirty.

Actually due to the reconstruction event, they have reached out to me and my friend saying we got an 'upgrade' to the Signel Poshtel, which is a bit far away but closer to the Jetty and shopping mall area. It was indeed a great surprise to see the new hotel, POSH-Tel (some name like this) and the bed was so cozy, soft and with good privacy.

Centrally located, easy to locate, near to many eateries, walking distance to the waterfront. Hostel was clean, cosy, comfortable bed and staffs were courteous during my visit. Book without doubt.

Good location near main sites, many eateries and laundrymat. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable facilities.

Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Good AC. Comfy bed. Very quiet most nights. Good sized locker. Card entry required for both building and room.

The card entry locks to the rooms have those totally unnecessary very annoying beepers! The "lounge" area needs some good big comfy couches. That would be a huge improvement. The little shelves above the beds are great but they need to be supported underneath with a metal bracket. As they are they get a slant in them and things slide off the shelf onto your face.

Locatie, fijne bedden, vriendelijk personeel, goede wifi, bieden leuke tours aan. Wasserette en 7/11 om de hoek. Goede airco op de kamer. Drinkwater beschikbaar. Grote kluis.

Badkamer was niet super schoon, kleine gemeenschappelijke ruimtes.

Staffs were friendly and location is good

Room is small, bed dirty with dust and hair, stink smell. Only one holder helps you to go up upper berth, but the other guest hanged her underwear and tower on the holder. I also lost my facial wash in the shower room, i forgot to take it out and it was taken.

Having space for eat and relax

Everything just great

Jefferson is a superb host. He was friendly, engaging with all guests, making sure I was comfortable during my stay.

Windows are not soundproof. As the location is good, however as we are close to the main road. Vehicle sounds can be quite loud and noisy. The staircase up the hostel can be improved by making sure its clean and clear from debris.

Clean and comfortable

El personal era muy amable. La ubicación es excelente, a 5 minutos a pie del waterfront y el mercado Filipino. Las camas amplias (estuvimos en una doble) y cómodas. Si volvemos a Kota Kinabalu, volveremos a este hostel.

价格还算合适，就是晚上去机场白天休息一下的地方。

床上有毛发和碎屑，窗外一楼顶上有垃圾，休息室要擦，毛绒凳脏了要清理。空调不够冷。在还有床位的情况下给我安排靠窗的，太阳晒得很热，进去要脱鞋，门关了就会叫。

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Betten bequem und die Lage optimal.

Es gab leider keinen Aufenthaltsraum, dafür aber einen kleinen Balkon.

Good area, easy access to the markets and bars. The hostel is clean and there’s a communal balcony. The pods were fairly spacious and didn’t feel cramped.

Extended stay and was able to keep the same bed so that was helpful. Would stay again if in KK
