Very central location, in the heart of the town and focus areas. Hotel is also very nicely designed and furnished. Room and ensuite bathroom was spacious and very clean.

Minor inconvenience - there was no elevator to the lobby so be prepared to carry your luggage up one floor.

Het personeel was erg behulpzaam en aardig. De kamer met eigen badkamer schoon en ruim, de badkamer had een goede douche. Bed was comfortabel, niet heel breed.

The room is large and spacious, is well decorated and was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and it has laundry facilities if you need them.

The room smelt pretty musty through even using the air con.

The location is excellent with lots of places to eat within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and having laundry facilities was great too.

The noise from the street below was very loud at times during the night with lots of motorcycle noise or people screaming/shouting.

The small and medium-sized rooms are, in my opinion, only suitable for one person rather than two. However, if you are looking for comfort and convenience, I would still recommend them because the location is right in the heart of Kota Kinabalu’s main tourist area. Short stay highly recommend!

There is a lack of detailed information about the facilities. For example, it is not clearly explained that the escalator starts on the second floor of the building, not on the ground floor. As a result, guests with a lot of luggage may need to carry their suitcases themselves, as there are no staff waiting downstairs to assist with luggage. This is something that elderly guests, in particular, may want to take into consideration.

The hotel is very well located in the city centre. The customer service is excellent: the reception is open 24 hours a day, and the staff are very helpful. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Be aware that you need to bring 200 MYR in cash for the room deposit, which was a bit of a surprise for us. Our room faced the hotel’s spotlight, and despite the curtains, it stayed very bright all night. The street was also quite noisy. Luckily, we had sleep masks and earplugs. Overall, a good hotel with great service and a convenient location, but light sleepers should request a room away from the street and the lights.

The hotel has the best location is on Gaya Street, so we are easy to join night food market and Sunday market. The room is very comfortable and clean. Staffs are friendly, helpful and warm-hearted.

I stayed one night in the mixed dormitory at Signel Poshtel and was impressed! The bed felt private and comfortable, facilities were clean and modern, the system of lockers outside the room worked well, and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent, just off Gaya Street. A great budget option in the centre of KK!

Considering the cost and it being a 3* it was incredibly clean and tidy, with a large room. The shared toilets and showers were very clean and well presented. The staff were very cheery and polite. The Aircon was quiet enough to sleep with it on which has not always been the case with other places I have stayed. Surprisingly they had Netflix setup for you which I've not seen anywhere else. It has some really good food spots just minutes away. I'm genuinely baffled with how it's 3* and so well priced.

The inclusion of a Netflix subscription on the TV was a nice touch. The hotel was very well located, close to some lovely little shops and cafes and the vibrant Jalan Gaya market. The room was comfortable and the bathroom stylish and clean.

The hotel in general seemed quite empty of guests, but even so we noticed quite a bit of noise from cleaning and maintenance staff. The noise was all during the day so no big deal, but it did make us feel as though the room was not very private noise-wise.

- clean, pretty rooms - comfortable beds - very friendly staff! - when we asked to change the room after one night (as the room next to the street was super noisy, even without the nightmarket), the staff even gave us two options to chose from and they were super nice about it. They also told us before at check-in that the nightmarket is very loud. I would definitely not book a room with walls to the street, as these walls (at least in our first room) were super thin (you can literally bend them when pushing against them, its kinda like a cardboard box). The other room that we changed to didnt have windows (we were warned about that before and they showed us both alternative rooms and also we didnt mind at all), but it was super quiet compared to the first one. - the location was great, especially with the night market directly in front of our door (food was delicious)

- it is quite noisy, even without the nightmarket, when booking a room next to the street, so be aware of that. The other rooms are fine (unless you happen to have noisy neighbours, as the walls are still a bit thin). - the showers could need some anti-mold spray, as there are tiny little dots between the tiles. The shower curtain in the first room should probably also be exchanged. Apart from that, it was very clean (with mild smell from the drains but depending on the day, i think thats pretty normal for the city, as the same issue occurred in the streets). Other than that, it was pretty nice. Would definitely book again.

L'ostello è in pieno centro e ha davvero tutti i confort di cui si può avere bisogno, i letti sono comodi e puliti, le docce funzionali e l'area bagno è davvero ben progettata. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile.

Il problema principale è la mancanza di un ascensore dal piano zero. Esiste solo un montacarichi dal primo piano in su.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, onze bagage was verloren gegaan in de luchthaven en als deze was terug gebracht hebben ze ons direct iets laten weten. Verder comfortabele bedden, propere kamers en een goede centrale ligging in de stad.

Zoals bij vele verblijven zijn de muren/ramen niet zo geluidsdicht waardoor je veel omgevingsgeluid had.

Very well located, have access to kitchen and hot water. Appreciate the fact that they provided 2 pillows based on my request. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Bed mattress is a little hard for me. Water pressure is low and shower is taking a longer time because of the lower water flow.

L’établissement est récent et très propre. Les lits en dortoir sont confortables, avec une literie de qualité. L’espace commun — cuisine, salle à manger, coin canapé et télévision — est un vrai plus : on s’y sent comme à la maison. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne très bien et le personnel est particulièrement accueillant.

Je me suis retrouvé dans un dortoir avec 8 hommes pour une seule femme. Je ne sais pas si c’était le hasard, mais la répartition pourrait être mieux équilibrée. Il ne s’agissait pas de jeunes voyageurs, mais plutôt d’hommes d’environ 40–50 ans, ce qui a renforcé mon sentiment d’inconfort. Je ne me suis donc pas vraiment senti à l’aise dans cette configuration, et les nuits n’ont pas été très reposantes à cause des ronflements… Par ailleurs, la pression de l’eau dans la douche est assez faible, et l’eau chaude n’est pas toujours au rendez-vous. 🚿

Even though we only stayed for one night, we had a very pleasant stay. The property was very clean and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the center and surrounded by many of the main restaurants, shops and everything else you might need. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and relaxed. We also arrived a bit earlier and were able to leave our luggage there.

I really liked the place and plan to return! I especially appreciate the kindness and candour of the staff! Special thanks to Tracy who helped me navigate the laundry process - what a gem! And Ain who answered so many questions and was just so lovely! The place is clean and has a nice lounge I was lucky to stay in a dorm with quiet guests or none at all The location is also great! And I loved watching the people gather to break their fast

It can be a little noisy and the beds are on the harder side but so clean and I still slept very very well!

Bella stanza quadrupla con anche divisorio in camera. Letti grandi, comodi e tutto pulito. Bagni in condivisione ottimi. La struttura è super tranquilla. C’è anche una zona comune all’ultimo piano perfetta se si vuole cucinare o semplicemente rilassarsi. Personale molto gentile e attento. Molto apprezzato il late check in in quanto siamo arrivati molto tardi, ma non c’è stato nessun problema. Posizione ottima, in super centro, tutto raggiungibile a piedi.

The location - it was walkable to most places I wanted to go. Check-in was smooth and easy. Staff were pleasant. The layout minimised noise from other residents with only a small number of rooms in each "corridor". The bed and pillows were comfortable. The area on the 4th floor with some cooking facilities and snacks. Drinking water was always available. I used the laundry - definitely a bonus convenience when travelling.

Having read reviews about security depoaits being kept for make up on towels I chose to use my own travel towel. There were stains on the carpet and the chair in my room - as they say the security deposit is for extra cleaning then there shouldn't be stained furnishings. The bathroom floor looked dirty - I'm sure it wasn't but the material made it appear that way. The grout in the bathroom needs to be maintained.

Guess I just was unlucky that I had very noisy people in my dorm. Came late, talking loud, switching the lights on. Just not very considerate. Dorm rooms are spacious, but also have 16 beds in them. So chances are high you have noise in the room...

Sie haben versucht beim Check out meine Kaution einzubehalten weil etwas Lippenstift an einem dreckigen Handtuch war. Das ist schön sehr geiziges Verhalten seitens des Hotels
