The shuttle only covered a 2 mile radius but, now that I think about it, gas is expensive!... At least you do provide a service. Due to gas prices you could have opted out. I appreciate the fact you didn't.

The 2 gentlemen name Kyle and Dawan were so pleasant and nice. They opened our vehicle doors, smiled, and always displayed a very nice attitude. For them to be young and working in the customer service field, they are off to a very great start. This hotel is a good location to walk to Vanderbilt University or Centennial Park/Parthenon. The staff in the cafe and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The staff at reception not so much. Be sure to note that the check in time is 4:00 and there is a parking fee $35-$45 per day. The same person was at the desk when I checked in and out, and she was not wearing a name tag, but she was very rude. She did not greet me and left me standing there wondering if I was in the right place while she stared at her computer and then seemed annoyed when I asked if I was in the right place. I would stay at another hotel to avoid having to deal with this person again. Rooms were not ready early, and then there was a long line to check in at 4:00. One of the elevators was also not working, so there was a long wait to get to the room. If you have more than two people staying, ask for extra towels at check in.

This is our second time here and we are hooked!!! we walked in, and staff has recognized us from our previous visit and treated us like absolute gold!!! we feel like family coming here and when we visit the restaurant attached to the hotel, they were excited to see us and brought our serviceanimal, a pup cup with bacon and treated us like family. Chloe and Tashauna took great care of us. And Regina checked on us multiple times to make sure the service was impeccable… We have visited many places in there have been none that havetreated us the way we have been treated at the Holiday Inn, Nashville, and the Commodore.

My time at the restaurant for breakfast was amazing! Everyone was so friendly. Sheree is amazing! She was so attentive and friendly! She made sure my time at the restaurant was pleasant and amazing!

Ty the gentleman that checked us in was such a pleasant, friendly, professional, helpful and a kind young man. Rooms were spotless. We went down for breakfast eating area, kitchen area very clean. Sheree our waitress was outstanding. Very friendly, great service and great food. Great atmosphere. This is our second time staying here. We highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here to do medical studies at Vanderbilt University along with an appointment with the HDSA Center of excellence …. The staff threw throughout has been amazing. However at the Commodore we have been treated like extended family with great food great service and live music every night. The bartender Mira went above and beyond after meeting us the first night and not knowing what Huntington’s disease was she, googled it to better understand people like my wife… The fact that she did that not knowing if she would ever see us again, was not something that she did for us, but something she did to better her service to people coming in, and to expand her understanding of something she did not understand to begin with… That is not only great service that is great humanity it is not very often you can find personal service like we found at the Commodore Thank you, Nashville

I really enjoyed my time at the holiday inn hotel this past weekend! They were really accommodating and pretty chill even when the little ones made a fuss. We even had assist in carrying all of our heavy luggage to our room by Carson. He was such a great help! And if I’m not mistaken, my family and I use every amenity that the hotel offered which made us stay even more relaxing!

I've been asking for an invoice to both the Hotel and Booking. At first they were both saying the other one should produce it. Now just nobody is answering me. If you travel for work, I strongly suggest not to go here. If it's the hotel who's reading: answer to one of my messages and I may change my rating.

Had a good stay, check-in and check-out process was seamless. The room was very comfortable, and there was not much noise for a downtown location. It's right next to Vanderbilt's stadium, so I'm sure on gamedays it's a different story. Convenient walking distance to nearby restaurants, and there's one in the lobby as well. Seeing musicians come and go, there's likely live music there if that's a draw for you. But I want to rave about the staff and their consideration during my departure. As a parent with a child on the spectrum, anxiety when traveling can be heightened. Not knowing how people will respond to a child's needs adds to that. Days before our trip, my child learned what happens when you look at the sun and started avoiding sunlight altogether because of it... like a vampire not letting it even touch his skin. This made getting him to leave the hotel lobby to get in the car a struggle. This staff went above and beyond, showed astounding patience, helped to keep him calm and reassure him he was safe, and valeted my vehicle as close to the lobby door as possible to accommodate what he was going through at the time. As a parent, times like those can be exhausting and frustrating, especially on a road trip. But this staff's amazing patience, empathy, and kindness made a world of difference that they possibly don't fully understand. The thing is, they didn't need to understand to show that they cared... at a time when more and more people are showing how little they care. There were at least 7 different staff members who helped at different times during this ordeal, and the customer experience they provided on this day won't allow me to recommend someone stay anywhere else when they visit Nashville. It made me happy to be an IHG Rewards member.

Además, en el closet había comida de perro en el suelo, probablemente del usuario anterior.

Sheree was especially helpful and kind. She did an excellent job seating everyone and had a great attitude The buffet was excellent and we enjoyed our experience.

From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warm smiles, answered all of our questions, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help set the tone for our entire stay. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Dawan and Kyle, the valets, whose friendly attitudes and willingness to help never went unnoticed. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a smile and providing exceptional service. I also want to recognize the outstanding shuttle drivers—Jason, Jim, and Richard. They were always punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable about the area. More importantly, they treated my sister and our family with kindness, patience, and respect, making every ride enjoyable and worry-free. A special thank you to Chef Chris, whose cooking made our stay even more memorable. His fried green tomatoes were absolutely amazing—the best we've had! We just returned home from our trip to Nashville. We were a family of four with teens so for our first time we decided to stay out by Vanderbilt. The location is pretty far out, but the hotel provides a wonderful shuttle service. I do not recommend walking to the downtown area. We made that mistake once and it was hot with very little shade. Take a ride share service or use the shuttle! The two drivers were super kind, courteous, and friendly. The one driver, Jim, gave us tips of local restaurants to try and which places downtown were good to visit and which ones were not. The second, Jeremiah, was driving all over the shuttle area to pick people up and was very friendly and helpful. He even dropped us to get ice cream, so we wouldn't have to walk too far. The rooms were clean, they definitely could use some updating, but the beds were comfortable and there was a fridge. They also provided water in the lobby with cups and had a refillable water station which was super helpful. We could see the Parthenon from our window, but it is closed at the moment. The breakfast was only for two of us and the other two would be $18.99/person. The breakfast was not worth $18.99 in my opinion. We also had servers to get us beverages, they were super helpful, but be sure to bring cash to tip them! In hindsight I would have just ordered from the room service menu or from the coffee bar in the lobby and saved myself some money. The hallways on the 12th floor were not air conditioned so they got pretty warm throughout the day and it was only a high of 87. I can imagine how hot they must get later in the summer. We also had to request additional towels because our room only had two when there were four of us staying. The staff were very polite and friendly so all in all it worked out.

PAID PARKING ARRANGEMENTS! I could not get my car back at 5:15 AM. That was no service to supposedly 6 AM which I was not informed about it. No one at reception area to help. Finally some crabby man stuff shows up, very unpleasant, and told me bring him tag from inside my locked car in order to get the car key back. Lucky for me I could open the car with my phone. I bought the tag back to him and he disappeared for 10 minutes. He was very very slow and unpleasant. I was told that the app on the phone will take care of car parking and getting my car back. I lost 45 minutes to get my car back, lost a lot of my time and aggravation Not sure what I paid the $45 for. I will never stay at this location.

This place was so delightful. The food was amazing (I’m a picky eater so that says a lot). Sheree was so great and helpful! The rooms are nice and all the staff were more than accommodating.

We've stayed here multiple times over the last few years. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff is good, they have valet service and handicap parking right out front, and the entrance is covered in case of rain. While there in June 2026, many rooms had been renovated, and some floors were still being renovated. There is a restaurant in the lobby, The Commodore Grille, with live music 7 night per week, a bar, and they serve breakfast and dinner.

Check in took a long time for a Monday, only one associate was available with a very long line. Eventually a second associate showed, but by that time many were waiting. The room smelled like wet dog, which made the bed and pillows smell like a wet dog. The bathroom faucets were loose and need some maintenance as well as the bulkhead in the bathroom that is un-sanded joint compound. While I love the live music... It was too loud to sit comfortably in the restaurant.
